Its soooooo delightful how perfectly paired Mapicc and Zam are as enemies. Like Mapicc is terrifying right ? And Zam is constantly terrified of him, except never to the point were he backs down. Princezam never gives up and all that. And Zam has so many things, places, and people that he cares about. And he doesnt hide his affection, even when it would be smart to. Princezams weakness is his heart and he refuses to not wear it on his sleeve.

So like in s4 when Mapicc finds Zams castle, any sensible person would leave. Go into hiding, or at the very least MOVE THEIR SPAWNPOINT. But not Zam, and that makes him perfect for Mapicc to oppose. Because Mapicc now has something he can easily threaten, he always knows where Zam is. He can like play with his food. And Zam wont leave or abandon the base because hes princezam. Zam wants an almost unbeatable enemy, and Mapicc is sooo happy to provide that.
