I can tell how burdened captain kirk is. I can tell he just wants to be in nature and fall in love with a woman and have babies and be alive and enjoy everything beautiful in the world but hes insane
#He has the captains madness and i know what this is bc ive experienced it myself just in another form#He hates the enterprise he resentd the enterprise he feeld burdened by the enterprise#But he needs it so so much because he loved it and it's what makes him feel alive#And he would love to do these other things but it's this snake wrapped around his fucking neck because nothing else gives him the thrill#It's like he has to do it. Theres no other way that he understands that he can live#It's like when you love something so so much and it burdens you so so terribly because uyou have to pay tributr to it#And it's never satisfied#I havent gottrn to the episode yet where he says he needs to have control over the ship#And he has like a theatrical william shatner breakdown#So i havent formrd an opinion#I feel like i havent rxplained this very well#But that man is running#Like i know exactly how he feels.
