Minato already has! :D He’s the Owl-masked ANBU that steals Kakashi’s headband and helps Shibi genin-test him. But if you mean if he’ll appear without his ANBU mask, the answer is yes ^v^

His ANBU outfit and mask is based on his canonical attire in the Naruto movie “The Lost Tower”. It’s also the reason why I drew Shibi and Choza as his ANBU team in the comic :D

Hi Rayne 👋 I hope this pandemic-flavoured holiday season hasn't been too taxing on you. I also hope I'm not being a creep by dropping in and letting you know that, while going through the asks on your blog, I'm able to pick up on various BtB characters through the way you answer questions!

Like, you'll state an opinion on something and I can see Genma because of the specific way you phrased something. Or I can see Shikamaru in the way you used an analogy to explain something. I catch little glimpses here and there, and it always brings a smile to my face.

Also, slightly unrelated, but in your recent mini-comic strips (?) about Heaven Hold Us, I noticed Shikamaru having light-coloured eyes when his face is cast in shadows. I also noticed tendrils of shadows swirling around his face. Are these things related and/or significant? I hope answering that doesn't involve venturing into spoiler-territory 😅

Well spotted! And yes indeed! They are absolutely related and very significant to what’s going on with him -- his state only being very vaguely and briefly alluded to so far.
