Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu ''Sidhu Moosewala'' Shot dead by a police encounter near Amritsar, Punjab on 22 May 2022.
He was killed in his hood.
Just like Tupac Shakur, Sidhu Moosewala came from a very poor background ''Pind'', farm.
Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu was born in the village of Moosa in the Mansa District of Punjab.
Moose Wala studied at Guru Nanak Dev Ji Engineering College and graduated with a degree in electrical engineering in 2016 in Ludhiana. He admired and was influenced by rapper Tupac Shakur. He started listening to hip-hop music as a student in sixth grade, and was trained in music by Harvinder Bittu in Ludhiana.
Sidhu, managed to leave his hood and make it big overseas. His nature of helping others and caring from his family, in my opinion resonated during his adolescent years as he managed to provide for his household with poverty and the everyday destruction in Indian politics.
If you think about it, Tupac was love, Biggie was money. Tupac grew up in the hood with his mum after he lost his dad which stood as a refuge for poor people. Biggie went to boarding school and rarely spent much time with family. Tupac needed investment when the world fell on him, which made him drop a triple platinum album all eyez on me. Biggie had ice, carats and gold.
Tupac rapped about his mother, so did Sidhu Moosewala.
Both had purpose, and it was love and the ability to provide. Their kindness was used against them, most people would say the men that followed these three legends are bad influencers. Kobe Bryant had a purpose and he lost his life and his daughter in an helicopter crash. Are you serious, you telling me the LA Lakers are bad?
My point is that the world ain't all sunshine and rainbows.
It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it.
You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.
How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done! Now if you know what you're worth then go out and get what you're worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Character Rocky Balboa said that.
Its a shame that the people that create change and miracles for others have a very short lifespan, others see, others envy, others pray, you are gray.
Section 295 was penalized on Sidhu because he wore a turban and blasphemed guns. When the protection order was pulled, they shot him, *encounter in a black G - Wagon. Shot in his hood.
He made modern kids speak Punjabi when their own mothers could not teach under a western influence. He provided for his pind, his mother, his family even in times of struggles when farmers got their land and veggies taken away from them.
In the end. Shot dead, as he changed the world.
I am Punjabi, and we still get rolled. Survival since 1469 AD.
Only people still alive is me and Eminem..... Legend.

India’s para-athletes made history at the Paris Paralympics 2024, winning 29 medals, including seven gold, nine silver, and 13 bronze. This remarkable performance exceeded their pre-set target of 25 medals and showcased India’s growing prowess across various sports such as athletics, badminton, shooting, archery, and judo. Indian athletes secured medals every day from Day 2 to Day 10, underscoring the country’s commitment to excellence.
From just 12 medals in the first 11 editions of the Paralympics to an impressive 48 medals in the last two, India’s para-athletes have come a long way. At the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics, India sent a record 54 athletes and returned with 19 medals, including five golds, eight silvers, and six bronzes, setting high expectations for the Paris Games. In Paris, the Indian contingent expanded to 84 athletes, setting an ambitious target of 25 medals.
Highlights of India’s Medal-Winning Journey
India’s first medal came from Avani Lekhara, who successfully defended her title in women’s 10m air rifle standing SH1, winning gold. Lekhara’s win marked the first time an Indian woman athlete won multiple medals at the Paralympics. On the same day, Mona Agarwal secured a bronze in the same event, while Manish Narwal earned a silver in men’s 10m air pistol SH1, and sprinter Preethi Pal won a bronze in women’s 100m – T35.
Day 5 to Day 7 of the competition was a golden period for India, with 17 medals won in just three days. The surge began with a silver in men’s discus throw – F56 by Yogesh Kathuniya, followed by gold for Nitesh Kumar in men’s singles SL3 badminton. Badminton continued to bring success with four additional medals, including silvers for Thulasimathi Murugesan and Suhas LY and bronzes for Manisha Ramadass and Nithya Sre Sumathy Sivam.
The athletics events continued to deliver medals, with Sumit Antil winning gold in the men’s javelin throw – F64 and the archers securing a bronze in the mixed team compound open event. On Day 6, India experienced another surge in medals with five podium finishes in athletics, including a gold-silver finish for Dharambir and Pranav Soorma in the men’s club throw – F51. Archer Harvinder Singh also made history by winning India’s first archery gold at the Paralympics.
India’s Historic Medal Haul
India set a new record by winning its 25th medal with a bronze in men’s -60kg J1 judo by Kapil Parmar. High jumper Praveen Kumar won India’s sixth gold in the men’s T64 final, and Hokato Hotozhe Sema earned a bronze in men’s shot put – F57. Navdeep Singh added a seventh gold with his victory in the men’s javelin throw – F41, and Simran earned bronze in the women’s 200m – T12. With another gold and a bronze on the final day, India concluded its best-ever Paralympics campaign with seven gold, nine silver, and 13 bronze medals.

Tumblr media
New Delhi: In a landmark achievement, Marwah Studios, under the visionary leadership of Dr. Sandeep Marwah, has attracted a footfall of three million visitors from 156 countries, establishing itself as a global hub for film and cultural tourism. This milestone was highlighted by Dr. Marwah while talking to the press at the Tourism and Hospitality Summit organized by the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) at Hotel Taj Palace, New Delhi.
Speaking at the summit, Dr. Marwah reflected on the journey of Marwah Studios and the introduction of the concept of “Film and Cultural Tourism” over three decades ago. “Thirty-three years back, we introduced a term to the English dictionary—Film and Cultural Tourism. Nobody knew about it then, but today the whole world is talking about it,” said Dr. Marwah. He emphasized the studio’s role in promoting cultural exchange and tourism through the medium of film, which has drawn millions of visitors to Marwah Studios.
The Tourism and Hospitality Summit, organized by IACC’s Tourism and Hospitality Committee, aims to create a platform that recognizes the efforts of industry stakeholders in facilitating travel and tourism within India and internationally. The summit was attended by prominent figures from the tourism industry, including former IACC President Lalit Bhasin, Regional President Arun Karna, Rajesh Magow of MMT, Jonathan M. [ad_1] Indian Contingent after their Paris Paralympic success (PC: PCI/X) Any review of Indian sport in 2024 is incomplete without a detailed mention of what the star athletes achieved at the Paris Paralympics as well as the Asia Pacific Deaf Games which concluded recently in Kuala Lumpur. If winning 29 medals in Paris and Chateauroux was an incredible achievement, the 55 medals won in Kuala Lumpur were also defining. All the athletes who have been classified as ‘Para’ athletes or ‘deaf’, overcoming the challenges and excelling in the field of play is worth lavish praise. For those who may think the standard of competition in the Paralympics or the Deaf Games is easy, one needs a reality check. RevSportz covered them live from the venues in Paris and how the Para athletes came up with stupendous performances. Sample the various sporting disciplines these stars have shone in. It’s an eye-opener. From skillful badminton to the more technical javelin and shooting, Indians winning medals is bound to motivate so many more. The support extended to these athletes by the government has been praiseworthy. Not one athlete can complain that there was inadequate support. Rewind to March 2024, when the Paralympic Committee of India (PCI) was staring at suspension from IPC (International Paralympic Committee). Like many other national sports federations, elections were overdue in the PCI. Credit must go to the Sports Ministry and the Sports Authority of India for fast-tracking the elections. For a legendary figure like Devendra Jhajharia to get elected as the PCI president, unopposed, was the best thing to happen. An athlete at heart, he could have still gone on to represent India at the Paris Paralympics. He chose to give back to the sport and India returned with 29 medals. “I have been elected and am thankful to all those who supported me. My goal will be to ensure Indian athletes do well in Paris,” Jhajharia told RevSportz just after the elections. And, again, when he spoke of at least 25 medals from Paris, Jhajharia was accused of hyping it far too much. He was present in Paris and moved from one venue to the other. The joy on his face was a sight to watch, as India continued to win medals. For a nation which is still not identified as a ‘sporting country’, it was a sea-change. For the Latest Sports News: Click Here Sheetal Devi, Sumit Antil and Bhavnaben Chaudhary in Paris Paralympics 2024 (PC: X) The likes of Avani Lekhara, Sumit Antil, Navdeep Singh and Harvinder Singh are now recognised. These are the stars who battle hard to bring India glory. None of them complains of what they lack. The most touching part was the opening ceremony for these athletes from India and other parts of the world. And how does one forget that quote/question from Navdeep Singh when he told his coach “khao maa kasam (swear on mum)” after being informed that he had hit 46.39 metres in javelin. Navdeep again said in an interview to RevSportz in October if he went on to break the world record, he would again tell his coach “khao maa kasam”. His popularity is massive, he gets invited by Amitabh Bachchan on the TV show as well. So, what is it that has led to a rise in performance and medals? It is two-pronged; support from the government as well as a corporate like Shrachi Group from Kolkata coming on board. As far as coaching is concerned in Para sports, they have their own mentors. In addition, a Jaspal Rana or a Suma Shirur is also there to guide the Para athletes and ‘deaf’ athletes. Rubina Francis, from Madhya Pradesh, took to shooting with great difficulty as he had ‘clubbed feet’. And when she won a medal in Chateauroux, she did not forget to thank Jaspal as well. “I coach any shooter who wants my help, everything in life is not about money. I still remember when Rubina first came to Bhopal at the state academy, she needed special shoes. It also gives me joy that I am able to guide someone who cannot hear but still wants to shoot,” said Jaspal, speaking about a talented boy who has done well recently in the Deaf Games.
Rana does not want to highlight the shooter’s name for personal reasons. “He is going to be there at the Nationals in New Delhi. He can shoot as well as the normal people. It’s my good karma that I can help so many people,” Jaspal added.
