Disco Elysium × Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury?

I could see a couple ways that could go:

Scenario #1: Ceramic Body Armor: The Disco from Elysium

"I-I solved the case." Harry stuttered. His ledger, open and in hand, proudly displayed his deductions. Examining the ledger, Kim confirmed the listed evidence. Up to this point, he had dismissed Harry as a mere annoyance. But now, he would remember his name.

"So it seems. Harry Du Bois…"

Kim handed him an official RCM coat and urged him to put it on. With a gasp, Harry gazed at his altered appearance.

"This attire is the emblem of the Revachol Citizens Militia," Kim explained. Then, he added, "It's also the emblem of my partner."

"Wh-what?" Harry stammered, unable to keep pace with the abrupt turn of events.

"I told you, didn't I? Even if you don't remember, those are the rules."

"But I… I'm a man."

"I guess Jamrock *is* rather conservative. That sort of thing is commonplace here."

Harry was speechless, unable to form a coherent reply to the casually delivered bombshell. Capitalizing on his bewilderment, Kim launched what felt like a follow-up attack.

"Nice to meet you, my detective."

Scenario #2: Witch Mercury

SULETTA MERCURY - "Mr. Guston is helping me find my Gundam."

SECELIA DOTE - "Oh!" Her eyes become larger and rounder. "That's so *helpful* of him..."

MIORINE REMBRAN - Your bride looks at you and you can swear her jaw muscle is trembling.

GUND-BIT #11 [Medium: Success] - She's able to contain her anger and surprise.

MIORINE REMBRAN - "Unconventional Gundam pilots sometimes *lose* their mobile suits. They then go around and tell people about this -- to gauge their reactions. It's all part of *training*."

SECELIA DOTE - "Incredible," she shakes her head. "Simply incredible -- and how is it going? Has this *training* produced a mobile suit?"

SULETTA MERCURY - "Mr. Guston is helping me find my Gundam."

SECELIA DOTE - "Ah yes. As you said." She looks confused for a moment.

SULETTA MERCURY - "Mr. Guston is helping me find my Gundam."

MIORINE REMBRAN - "Please don't get her in a loop. If she gets in a loop it will last *forever*. Ask her to say something else please."

GUND-BIT #01 [Medium: Success] - That's wrong! You don't get into loops!

Edit: please take a moment to think about 60-ish Kim with smile lines that are starting to form around his eyes.

Imagine being Precinct 57th's captain and the guy you have always used as a token, as the plus one, the guy you could always boss around cause you knew he needed to prove himself every step of the way, loyal to a fault to his role suddenly calls you after a week in Revachol's shithole where no one goes with the world's shittiest and meanest cop ever, not only to inform you that he is leaving the Precinct but that he is transferring to previously said world's shittiest and meanest cop's Unit. Embarrassing, do better.
