thank you!! i think it would be interesting to explore! unfortunately i really don't know about their interactions cuz harper doesn't even have a character yet lol, but i will try to describe what came to my mind so far:

i like to think that superficially she would be a smaller copy of pb, but a little more calm and balanced? she's generally friendly and quite joyful; i also feel like her parents spoiled her terribly and she grew up to be arrogant hehe. you know she would copy this bojack's behavior like "i'm harper horseman and i can do whatever i want" "i'm a celebrity so you can't put me in jail for hitting five pedestrians" and so on

oh and i also like the idea that she would somewhat resemble beatrice. she has a similar appearance to her, i'm sure it was conceived by the creators, so i tried to keep it. her arrogance would manifest itself in these witty comments and some rebelliousness, and she'd be like… an unbroken version of beatrice. that would definitely make bojack feel... something

as for their interactions, which jay exactly do you mean? it just seems to me that her character in parents au and in dadjack au (i'm well aware that only the two of us will understand this nonsense cuz no one else would go so unreasonably deep into the whole lore of these aus) will be quite different, well because of the upbringing and generally the atmosphere in the family, but that's up to you ofc!

i'd be interested to see how you imagine their relationship with this new information; and i definitely don't mind drawing them together sometimes! it'll be fun!!!💓

bound & break for harper on the not so nice ask game? ^3^

bound: Has your OC ever been imprisoned or captured? What happened? How did they get out? Did the experience leave any scars?

Up until this last year, only the once. But! being in an active chronicle is great for getting those incarceration numbers up lmao. First off, they got nabbed by the SI while trying to save a revenant from them. That one was several months of being staked and starved, since the hunters refused to give them flesh instead of just liquid blood. Though, they actually had miracle level rouse checks and remained conscious for a significant portion of it all. They ended up escaping with the help of the Red Alastor Sulla (yes, the historical roman dictator Sulla, you can thank @tzimizce for that galaxy brain idea) who sent a wraith to un-stake them and then submit to being completely consumed by them. Obviously, the surveillance on their cell noticed, but they were able to talk their way into being released as a mole for the SI and as such did come out with a physical scar- a small listening device embedded in the back of their throat that caused a permanent point of aggravated damage (until they got a mouthful of acid blood that melted it away but that's another story).

The second time was a two week stay in a padded oubliette with a feral skeleton for a roomie (@harbingerofskulls 's Mattia). This was because they couldn't keep a lid on their hatred for the Giovanni and threw Sulla's Gio boytoy (@cemeterygrotesque 's Nero) through a wall for provoking them. The third is related to the second, but by far the worst. During their fight with Nero they had threatened to kill his girlfriend, Renere, if they weren't allowed to kill him. So, when they got out, they stupidly decided to make good on the threat. They tricked her into coming down into their creepy ass basement and ate her alive, nearly to final death. However, her "parasite" (a slayer demon called Bergamot) stepped in and basically sent Harper to super hell. In reality it was only two weeks, but to Harper it felt *much* longer as they were paralyzed with the branches and trunk of a stone tree having grown through their body and a bunch of spirits there to personally torment them. The mental scars from this have yet to come up, but if they ever went to the shadowlands again I think they'd be constantly making checks against fear frenzy.

break: What would cause your OC to break down completely? What do they look like when that happens? Has anyone ever seen them at their lowest?

It's funny that you picked this one as well, bc nearly all of the times they've broken down it's been related to being imprisoned. The lowest they've gotten in the chronicle was in Bergamot's Toture Nexus for sure, so he and a bunch of wraiths saw them but mercifully no one else. They're remarkably resilient, but even they aren't immune to crying and begging- even just to thin air when they've been left to suffer.

this is that harper i've been talking about recently

i came across an oc that was conceived as a hypothetical bojack and mr peanutbutter's kid and decided why not redraw it

tbh i don't know if i could even call it oc?? because this is essentially harper with a partially modified design and backstory (which doesn't really exist). you can imagine that she was born through surrogacy or appeared out of thin air. anyway i just had fun drawing it :)

hi hello hi basically all my guys are autistic by default of my not knowing how neurotypicals work, but these two are my most Explicitly So.

Kellen (right) is a Tzimisce museum conservator whose special interests are bugs (beetles Specifically), snakes, and taxidermy. Truly they are living their best life of getting to do a job they enjoy, under a boss they love (trujah methuselah curator/owner of the museum is their mawla/regnant), with a steady routine and little interference from other people. Don't worry about the fact that their city is overrun by hunters, and their sire has been using their family as a herd for their whole life as well as giving them heaps of religious trauma. It's fine. It's totally fine :)

Harper (left) is a Nagaraja, and the Scourge for the Camarilla in their city. They're basically the flip side of Kellen in that I pretty much made them as like a thesis statement/vent about how much of a nightmare constantly masking is. Circumstances forced them to turn to the Camarilla after years of being independent and in order to play their games they've had to bury basically everything that they are- both the Nagaraja things, and the Autistic things. They don't stim anymore, they don't eat people anymore, they like photography and necromancy a Normal Amount, they do what they're told, when they're told to do it, and they are soooo fucking miserable and angry all the time because of it. And, even with the status they've managed to accrue by doing this, people *still* don't fully trust or accept them anyways! and one day they're going to snap and its going to be bloody and wonderful

Also! Both Kellen and Harper had low empathy to begin with, long before they had to worry about maintaining Humanity, because I Do Too. and I wanted to explore different ways of how that would interact with vtm's morality system. Kel, in an environment where they're not just permitted but encouraged to not mask it, as they turn away from Humanity and towards a Path. and Harper in an environment where the only viable option is to walk the line of engineering a mental algorithm to accommodate for the innate lack of understanding, while also being able to selectively operate that system to do their job without staining their Humanity.

does anyone in the vtm/wod scene have an autistic, adult, major character? I want to see them. I need to see more of those glorious fuckers. Juniper needs friends (or enemies) :D

ok fr tho I’ve been thinking about them. I like to think before moving to Harper’s Hill, Sarah stayed in Arkham for a bit with Anna, trying to unpack everything they learned. After a while, Anna decided she didn’t want to continue poking at this unknowable horror, but Sarah was adamant on finding out the truth. They parted ways ofc, but they stayed closed where it mattered most.
