Please elaborate on Harvester and his rivalry with toddlers

So the idea is that the Clans have a version of succession by porphyrogeniture, that is the children born after a leader gains power are higher on the pecking order than their elder siblings born before. For this AU, Harespring, Kestrelflight, and Heathertail are all siblings and the former two are about Crowfeather's age such that they're already a warrior and a full medicine cat before the Clans set up in the Lake Territories. Heatherkit, as canon, would have been born shortly after Onestar rises to leadership.

Of course, here it should be obvious why Harespring is jealous. Even though he hadn't before had deputyship ambitions, being passed up AND seeing his baby sister be groomed from the position kind of stings. But it's also kind of a resentment towards her for being a symbol of how much his father has changed.

I see Onewhisker and Harespring actually having been pretty close as father and son before the move to the Lake. But with his attention being pulled more to the leadership and to raising Heatherkit, not to mention his huge attitude shift, that is slowly crumbling for him. He feels alienated from his family generally. Even Kestrelflight, being the Clan's meddie, has a more close relationship to their father nowadays.

And to add insult to injury, he was assigned to mentor the Clan's problem child, Breezepaw, in a move that seems to him like it was setting him up to fail.

Also, Crowfeather and Harespring do eventually end up kissing through all this, all the while neglecting their apprentices.

Rating Warrior Cat names pt. 6

Moonpaw: -100/10 The fandom has strong opinions on this one. Would work way better if her parents were Nightheart and Sunbeam. She’s screaming Mary Sue.

Moonflower: 5/10 I did not knock points off for breaking the ‘moon is too sacred to use as a name’ rule. I added points. It’s funny. Points deducted for flower bc boring and I don’t like how it’s kinda a mom suffix.

Harespring: 10/10 HE BE SPRINGING. He made it to leader by the skin of his teeth and the coolness of his warrior name. Unfortunately he is now boring Harestar and will soon be sacrificed so Crowstar can happen

Icewing: 1/10 so so boring. Probably shares her name with a million warriors OCs. Love her, but not her name. I keep forgetting which one is ‘icewing’.

Goldenflower: 5/10 They did her dirty with the mommy suffix. She’s fierce and clever and protective; she should’ve gotten -fang. Would’ve matched with Tigerclaw too. Can’t argue with Golden- tho, she do be gold.
