A Little Bit Of Sunshine p.2

Disclaimer: Y/N accidentally nicks herself with a razor, nothing is described and this is part of the plot so don’t worry I didn’t put it in just to make you uncomfortable. If you feel uncomfortable with that, feel free to skip ahead, I don’t mind!

Sorry for any grammar mistakes, I used Grammarly (which is awesome by the way, this isn’t sponsored lmao) so it should be okay, but things could have been missed by the filter (somehow) Enjoy!!

 You lounge in your dorm room, snuggled up in about 10 pounds worth of blankets. The bed vibrates, and you pick up your phone to find a message from Wooyoung.   "That's weird, why would he text me?" You cautiously open then message, squeezing your eyes shut tight before revealing the text to yourself.   You feel a weird sense of disappointment after realizing it was just a confirmation text about your meeting place and time. Not realizing it, you spend quite a while examining Wooyoung's message, something you've grown accustomed to doing. His punctuation cuts his sentences short, just like how he talks, and his grammar is impeccable. The layout is thought-out and precise, making it easy on the eyes and quick to get the point across. No time wasted.   You sink back into your bed. Glimpsing at your clock, you notice it has gotten late, and you grimace and sigh to yourself. You eventually haul yourself out of the comfort and warmth your bed provided and switch off the light.   You fall asleep as soon as your head crashes into the pillow.   You are jostled awake by your roommate, Hwasa, who has been getting increasingly irritated by your alarm clock blaring over the once serene silence. She throws you a short-lived glare over her suntanned shoulder, and you beam right back, knowing there is nothing that you could do that would make her loathe you. Despite trying so desperately not to crack, she explodes anyways and comes bounding back to you.   Leaping on the bed, she tackles you and traps you in the tightest bear hug. "Why are you so adorable!?" she squeals straight in your ear, and all you can do is chuckle to yourself. That is until you realize what time it is.   "Oh shoot, if I don't get ready right now, I'm gonna be late!" You rush out of bed, out of Hwasas grasp, and sprint to the bathroom. Running through the shower, you don't pay attention to what you are doing and accidentally nick yourself on the razor blade. This saga of mini catches continues the whole shower, and eventually, you'll end up with at least ten bandaids covering your legs.   You step out of the tub onto the chilly tile floor, skin prickling against the harsh cold of the bathroom air, despite it being filled with steam a moment ago. Pulling out the first-aid kit, you tend to your legs and search for clothes to cover them. To your horror, there are zero pairs of pants left for you to wear. Hwasa must've stolen them like usual.   "Of course. Of course, this had to happen," you eventually surrendered to the fact that you would have to go out looking absolutely ridiculous. You embraced it at this point. What could you do?   You tug on a vibrant canary-yellow sweater paired with jean shorts that cut off way too quick for your liking. The sleeves fell way over your petite hands, and your tiny fingers struggled to keep a grasp on end. You dry your hair as swiftly as possible and set out on the first proper meeting with Wooyoung that will transform your life.

Finally got this done! I have been putting this off for a ridiculous amount of time but decided to write this part because Wooyoungs birthday is tomorrow (although he rarely shows up in this chapter lol) In later chapter, I hope to be discussing topics of things I've personally dealt with, such as anxiety, and other things I’ve seen my friends, family, and idols deal with. “you lovebirds done?” yunho yells out, reminding you that the other boys are with you too, and are getting hungrier by the moment

“nope!” wooyoung replies, entwining his fingers with yours

“leave them,” seonghwa chastises the younger boy, then calls out to you and your boyfriend, “we'll go ahead and get us a table, okay? don't freeze”

you mumble out an acknowledgment, readjusting your head and letting out a short sigh, “i wanted to just hang out with you tonight, wooyoung”

“who said we're going with them?” he says mischievously, standing up straight and tugging you down the street in the opposite direction the other boys just took
