Tip and Oh running around town that is filled with a bunch of Boov and Humans. Merry Christmas, everyone!!

This is my Christmas 2024 pic and the one that I printed on this years cards! Got a bit more expansive with drawing more Boov around the city, and included a character from the show like Sharzod. As always, will be drawing more Boov this year and next year.

My Allergies Make Me Tired 1 - September 2, 2024

My allergies were bad for my usual run with Autumn, but it's still better than previous years! But yup, my allergies make me tired so I drew some tired aliens. It amuses me. And they are cute so there is that. Poor, tired little boov.

The Magic Shop - July 23, 2024

Getting ready for the season, this Boov gets a new outfit and checks her magic stats.

So yeah, I drew this in July and haven't posted it until now! Oops.

I started painting and drawing a whole bunch of other pictures and figured I would load them up all together then some of those paintings just failed to turn out; which happens in art, so it's just a thing. Heavily into sketching ideas then started writing again, there wasn't anything to post since it was all just concepts and sketches and I just did not make the effort to post this one drawing. Then in August, my fall allergies came in so it was time to do my annual tired + fuzzy headed + on a bunch of cold medicine. Still a better fall allergy season than most. :) With that concept, I drew a few Boov that detailed how TIRED my allergies made me. SO that's cool!

But yeah, took me a while to bother uploading. Also did not help that the painting had to be flattened before I could correctly photograph it.

Either way, I'm tired but uploading the latest bit of art. I'm also moving soon so that is going to take time. Haha!

A Moment to Breathe - October 13, 2024

A Boov enjoying fall!

I painted this on a beautiful fall weekend. The scene was a very serene, mostly sunny day with falling yellow leaves outside our large sliding glass window while the cats peered outside. It was nice and so I painted with that feeling in mind.

My husband and I moved! So yeah, that's why my art has been slim lately. :) Planning, packing, moving, and settling takes a while, but this time, it wasn't across state lines so that was much better! Haha, I moved like 5 miles from the apartment I spent several years in (2019, the whole pandemic, and then just a few weeks ago). It's refreshing to live in a larger place!! I am very lucky (luck+hard work but never forget that luck plays a part in it). :)

Nebula Dreams - July 7, 2024

She looks lost but optimistic while on a colorful dance floor. Looking at her allows me to ponder the social anxiety that has always been present but seems to have irreversibly grown since the pandemic; but the colors are so calming and the Boov so angelic that even this anxiety may be someday overcome. Perhaps.

Really love how this one came out; I think I'm finally getting space themed backgrounds to really work for me. These denser watercolors are quite a bit more freeing due to their more forgiving nature in comparison to most watercolor types I had dealt with; I could layer them as I wish and not have to restart the whole thing just because of a planning error. For me, art is chaos; the way it should be. Ha! That's not always true but I love when it is.

My Perfect Birthday Cake - May 25, 2024

All I can think about is cake.

It's my birthday tomorrow (May 26), so I painted what I believe would be my perfect birthday cake! I love strawberries, cream, and all matters of cake so a strawberry shortcake or even a Japanese Christmas Cake would be absolutely perfect. Truly, all I could think about this month was cake! I actually made some cupcakes this month so pretty much had this experience with fresh strawberries. Since I am super sensitive to sugar, I have to make all of my own sweets as sugar free items. So yeah, this is an elaborate type of cake with a chocolate Boov on the top with the fresh strawberries, a cookie on the side, and a chocolate Saturn stuck to it. I added some gold paint because it's really pretty. Do I have the skills to actually make a cake that looks like this? Haha, hell no. :D

My Love For the Universe - May 19, 2024

Yes, the universe is a beautiful and deadly place.

It's usually not my style to perform the same concept or same drawing twice, but heh, it's been a while since I actually colored anything and I figured it would be fun as not only a practice set, but also to see what I come up with regarding this universe concept when its more planned. I actually like the clouds in this drawing quite a bit better and like that the Boov Goddess is blending out into a constellation type. I also like the more planned locations of the stars.

It's been a while since I posted but I actually have been sketching and making line art a lot, just haven't been coloring or finishing any art. My allergies always get me this time of year and my head is all foggy. So, during allergy season, I'm basically a Psyduck; I'm confused half of the time and chances dictate that I probably have a headache.

A Goddess Sleeps - May 19, 2024

I find concept of ethereal beings lazing about in the stars to be incredibly beautiful. Though I would love to make this concepts using mind-blowing 3D artwork, I love the simplicity of joining these bright colors together as I imagine the universe.

A Girl and An Alien Tried to Bake A Cake - January 3 2023

This concept originates from the 'Adventures of Tip and Oh' Netflix cartoon's 'Wrinkly Humans People' episode. So I painted them making a terrible looking cake and it's funny. Oddly, this was supposed to be a quicker acrylic painting but I ended up embellishing a background and different outfits for these two.

Luck and Confidence - March 17, 2024

He's so confident that I think I'm jealous of him.

Drawn on St. Patrick's Day! Man, I love green. What a color! I mean, it's the best color. And add that with purple? Superb. Yup. Green is the best. The actual best. And so are the Boov. I just can't with this picture; I love how it came out.
