"You busy again?" you tried to peek at what your friend's writing in his notebook where he writes most of his own lyrics, one that you're dying to read since last week.

"Yeah, I need to finish this soon, so go away." You pouted and glared at Younghyun while he turn his attention back to his notebook.

"Seriously, Younghyun, I know that it isn't even for a certain subject. Why you won't let me see it?" You whined and the pout never left your lips, hoping that Younghyun will give up and let you see what he's writing.

"Yeah I know, but-- Y-you don't need to read it" realizing that he really won't let you take a peek at what he's writing, you just let him much to your chagrin. After all, you never won against him.

"Right, I guess that one's really important, and confidential I think?" You said and grabbed your bag, fishing for your books instead to make yourself busy since your vacant time just started and you're not hungry (yet). But when you heard Younghyun called you after closing his notebook and fixed his bag, your stomach started to grumble.

"Let's eat? My treat." You can't help but to smile and nodded at him, fixing your bag. Of course, who wouldn't say no to food? Take note, you won't spend a dime.

You met Dowoon after you eat from the nearby diner. Telling each others' greetings. Dowoon was an Economics major, and he's part of Younghyun's self made band together with Sungjin, Jae and Wonpil.

"Hyung, is it done?" Dowoon asked Younghyun, while you just listened to them, not having any idea with their topic.

"Uh, oh y-yeah. Tomorrow?" Their ambiguity makes you so curious, but you were shy to ask since you were really not that close to Dowoon, so you excused yourself and waited for them to finish, grabbing your phone from your pocket to check the time.

You were a bit shock, well not really because of the time, it is because your birthday is almost next week, but truthfully speaking, it didn't excite you. You're used to being at home or just do normal things on your birthday. Your parents keep on telling you to celebrate but you just tell them you're too lazy to do so. In the end, they don't have any choice but to just visit or send you a birthday cake and greet you. You were fine with that, after all you were not a party person and you know how busy they are.

On the other hand, Younghyun just barges in to your apartment with pizzas, chicken and soda with him. A dinner with unhealthy foods and movie marathon is the best birthday celebrations for you, and also you get to spend your special day with him.

"Sorry, I can't walk you home. I have something to do. I'll make it up to you, hm? Really." You nod in response, while Younghyun patted your head. This is the fourth, since last week. You understand that he's busy these past few days, but you can't help but to get a bit peeved. You know you don't have the rights to because you are just his best friend for God's sake, he can do what he damn well please.

"Oh, o-okay. I'll wait for it. And- and don't worry, just take your time. You don't have to be sorry, though. See you then?" He just nod and bid your goodbyes before separating ways.

After taking a shower, you plopped yourself down on your bed, planning to scroll on your phone until sleepiness find its way to you. You don't have classes tomorrow, much better for a birthday rest.

After a conversation with your mom, you opened your Instagram just to see posts from everyone. Your hands never stop its duty to scroll.

After a long ass scroll, it stopped on a video posted by Wonpil. A video of Younghyun playing his guitar. You smiled while your eyes were shooting hearts as you watch him play his guitar and humming in to the music. He's so ethereal. No wonder why every girls from your major envied you. You're one hell of a lucky girl, being best friends with someone like Younghyun, the sweet, talented Younghyun. And that is the problem. Being best friends. You never want to be just best friends with him. You like him for so long. But can you blame yourself for thinking that he might not feel the same way? And you can't stomach yourself being rejected. You hate rejections, how immature of you. But isn't it too much if you'll get rejected again? You got rejected so many times already when you confessed. Maybe it's enough. No confessions, no rejections. No harsh feelings, I guess.

You were not expecting. You really aren't. But Younghyun should be here at this time now, right? You groaned in exasperation. You really hate yourself with passion. It isn't his duty to go here and bring foods for you, stupid. You keep on convincing yourself that he is busy. But greeting you a Happy Birthday won't eat all of his time, right?

It's almost 7 in the evening, and you were just lazily sitting on your couch, your eyes glued on the television, but you weren't focused on what you were watching. You don't even have an idea on what's the title of the movie. You jumped when you heard your phone ring, your mind automatically registering Younghyun's name. You smiled like an idiot as you tapped the icon open. But your smile disappeared as soon as you read the message.

You don't even get the chance to ask him why when you received the address. It seems so urgent, but what does it have to do with you? You checked the address and it isn't somewhere near his apartment. You just shrugged and decided to change your clothes to a decent shirt and pants, with your shabby pair of sneakers. You really need to buy new ones now.

You hailed for a cab and gave the driver the address. A half an hour of travel and you finally arrived at the place. At first, you hesitated because the driver stopped at a fine looking diner, where your attire seems off from everyone who walks inside. But the driver says that the location was right. So you apologized and gave your payment, thanking the driver before hopping out of the car. Why will Younghyun gave you this address? You grabbed your phone from your pouch and typed a message for him.

Why did you gave me this address?

You tapped your feet against the floor while waiting for him to reply. You immediately opened the message as soon as you felt the buzz.

You just groaned and put your phone inside. You faced the mirror from the diner and fixed your hair and everything to make yourself at least presentable. You just wish that they won't look at your shoes. Your oh so good looking shoes. God damn it.

"Good evening Ma'am. Welcome to Haven Diner. A seat for two, Ma'am?" A sheepish smiled crept up on your face as the lady attendant asked you.

"Uhm... Actually I have a friend here. And he said that I need to go to that hallway heading to the garden." The lady gasped and nodded enthusiastically.

"Oh, yes, yes. Please take that way, Ma'am. It'll lead you to the diner's garden." You mouthed thanks to her before heading to the said hallway. You don't know why you feel iffy about this situation. But you decided to brush it off since you don't want to have false hopes. Maybe his band have a gig and unfortunately he called you for some errands.

And you weren't wrong. The instruments are there. But what's confusing is no other people from the five boys. You turn your head to Younghyun, together with his bandmates.

"What-"

Younghyun smiled at you, and he seems so edgy.

"Just, just stay there and watch. Okay?" You just nodded slowly, the situation is still not sinking in to you. Dowoon started by beating the drums, before Jae started to sing.

It's not that you never saw him sing with his band, but this one feels utterly different from all his gigs that you attended. It's like this one is especially for you. For you only.

"What was that for?" You can't think of anything to say when Younghyun went near you, so you asked the first thing that came to your mind. Your heart skipped a beat when he hold your hand. His hand was so cold, telling how nervous he is.

"happy birthday, Y/N. and--" he stopped mid-sentence when you hugged him.

"You're so annoying! You- you don't have to do that, you know. But really, thank you. That was so beautiful. I really liked it." You said, and squeezed him more you can already feel how his heart beat so fast.

"I-I'm glad you liked it. But I still have something to tell you." You hummed and pull away from the hug, he sighed as you cock your head, encouraging him to continue.

"I... I like you Y/N." Your eyes flutter as you register what he said. It feels like you're in a dream. This feels so surreal.

"A-are you serious?" You know how much he hates lying. But you just can't believe that this thing was happening. You don't think you deserve any of this.

"Yeah. I won't lie about it Y/N. You know how I hate lying to people. And I don't want to hurt you. I just want to see you smile. I just want to see you happy. Just like the message of the song. The song's for you. That's my gift." You pouted as you try to stop your tears from falling , but it is to no help because it automatically fell. You can hear the sincerity in his voice. Telling that he isn't really joking around. Younghyun just smiled and hugged you once again, rocking your body side by side.

"I hate you" you mumbled while smacking his arms lightly making him chuckle.

"Why tho?"

"Because I like you too, you silly." You told him making him gasp in shock.

"Did you just confessed to me?" He said making you frown. Now he's joking around.

"You confessed first." You remarked and rolled your eyes. Wiping the tear stains away from your face.

"So what are we now?" You asked even if you already know the answer. You just want him to hear from him.

"We're dating. I can see you want to hear it from me." He said and pinched your cheeks. But the grumble from your stomach made Younghyun bursts into laughter. That's surely a mood killer.

"Come on, you need to eat. The celebrant needs to eat." Younghyun said and grabbed your hand, pulling you to sit on the chair. Your eyes wander around to see if the boys are still there.

"But where are the others? I thought they're going to join us?" You said as you wait for the waiter to come.

"They're already stuffing their mouths with tons of food. Don't mind them. This is our time, okay?" He said and winked making your heart jump out.

kang jun i think jun doubts himself far more than he realizes just how much he’s capable of !! jun is so adorable and he might hate me for saying that but it is what it is !! i don’t think he’s recognized his true power yet, and though that’s sort of good at humbling him, i think he will be a beast when he becomes fully confident ?? and i believe he will !! i think getting a proper fanbase will show him just how much he can do !

 ji haneul okay haneul made it to type zero, so tbh he already has his life together more than half of us ?? IOJOIJOJ no but for real i think haneul is a true  ✨professional ✨even if he wouldn’t believe me if i told him ? although HE might not be so confident in it, i think haneul’s growing into his more mature self well and it’ll actually help him in the long run as he starts his journey in the idol industry !

kang jina you know what ? i think jina would be a really good leader in her group, if she were to debut as an idol ! i think she has really good communication skills and seems to just vibe with everyone around her ? which is important, as a leader ! but i also feel like she could lighten the mood and kay down the rules depending on which is needed ? that’s just how i feel ! i think she’d do well <3

seo geonwoo first of his theme is so aesthetically pleasing wow ?? anywho ! i do really enjoy geonwoo and honestly need to pay him more attention !  i honestly respect the fact that he knows his own power, and isn’t afraid to be confident in himself ? he just seems v sure of how he wants to live his life which makes him seem v stable, and def in the right direction ! i think he most often knows whats best for himself, and that’s a really valuable skill to have !

ok miyoung first off i DEFININTELY whole-heartedly ship miyoung and hunji, i do !! 😌 but yes miyoung def has romcom protagonist vibes, and i mean that in the best way possible ?? like she’s got quite a lot of things going on for her simultaneously, all while trying to discover things about herself too ?? i empathize with the level of chaos in her life but i think she’s handling it all very well and it’s exciting to read about !

son nabi nabi my ANGEL. i didn’t even know nabi too well prior to us plotting but now i’m so glad that i do !! she has the kindest heart and is willing to go out of her way, even for people she isn’t that close to, just out of the good of her heart ? and i think that’s so powerful ! she’s so baby and i vow to protect her from all the horrors of the entertainment industry because she’s a prime example of light amongst darkness !

ahn jaehwa you knowww jaehwa’s my girl 😚 i just love her adventurous spirit, and how she definitely is filled with more mischief than she may show on first impression ? i think she can use that to her advantage, and it will translate really well as charisma !! her and max’s first interaction showed me just how much of a daredevil she can be and i love it ! psa, we need to plot again !  

lee yohan first of yushina nd yohan’s broken friendship is some .... tea 🍵 i’m intrigued ... really i am !! i kinda wanna give him a massage chair for his birthday because i feel like there really is a lot of internal conflict going on in his head ? def hoping he achieves the dream od getting famous before he’s forced to enlist and drop his dreams, and in return for my support i am expecting free starbucks coffee on him, lol !!

bae nathan i honestly didn’t even realize just how iconic nathan is until we started plotting ? him and max share a lot of similarities, which i love, but beyond that he just is such a real dude who kinda just seems ... ok with being not perfect ? and i enjoy that ! he’s accepting the fact that he makes mistakes and knows that that’s ok. i feel like in the future he’d have a fire podcast ?? like i just feel like it’d be so real and entertaining !

han allie first of all, happy ( belated ? ) birthday to allie !!! second of all, producers in general are always just so interesting to me ? i feel like even though she’s still finding it, allie’s rather focused on creating a sound for herself and making it different ? def has the drive to make her dreams a reality, and i know she’ll do well ! allie, fighting !

kim alex first off i LOVE luna she is my pride and joy .... i feel v embarrased i think we were supposed to thread and i forgot ! but that beside the point !! i feel like he does have crazy duality ?? at some points it’s like “wow, nice man, pet parent of the year” and other times it’s like “wow this man is wilding did he just say that ??” but ... the way i love both !! it’s so interesting seeing his conflicts and how he deals with other people, but maybe that’s the messy mun in me 🙊

ahn jaesun jaesun !! a king. first off i said it to danbi’s mun before but i am just putting it out there i love him & danbi together i do, i ship it !!! secondly i think, maybe because he’s been around for a quite awhile, but you ( the mun ) seem to have a very good grasp on his character ? i think he’s had really significant but gradual development, sort of coming out of his shell and expanding the things he’s willing to take on ! and i love that for him.

yoon shinha let me repeat that minjun and shinha - i ship it !!! i don’t even know hwo to describe it but i just love the energy shinha exudes !! it’s fun, playful, and full of energy, and i think that’ll transfer really well on stage !! he’s the type of guy who’s just down for whatever and i feel like he could befriend anybody if he really wanted to ! i like that about him and think he’ll have no problem getting along w whoever he works with in the future !

kyo miyeon my queen .... oh how i love her ! 😣❤ i think miyeon’s got a cold exterior with a soft interior ?? like she’s sososo composed and a little cold on the outside, but in reality she’s just over here loving animals and the simple things in life ? i think once she debuts she’s going to have fans have v passionate debates about whether they like her cool or soft side more since they’re both so prominent and so good !!

løvehjerte emil first off emil being from denmark and his name immediately stood out to me when he was accepted, and to me makes him v unique ? also doyoung rights ;) i like how well he seems to adapt to the situations presented to him, even if they’re new and unfamiliar to him ! i think he has his ability to keep his cool, but is still learning a lot from being a trainee and proving he can definitely grow beyond what he’s already accomplished !

jung miso miso is the baddest b no one can change mt mind oijoijoijo !!!!! but no for real i always have admired miso even if i haven’t got to interact w her on my muses too much ? at first i def got vibes of the popular girl everyone wants to be just like ? but i’ve realized she’s a loot more ! she has ( shrek vc ) layers, and i think it’s good to see someone who has a lot of things people would see as ideal, but without being unobtainable !

nam yunho yunho intrigues me so much !! i’m sad max hasn’t gotten to interact with him yet lol !! i feel like in this i keep comparing muses to character types but - just take a journey with me ok soijioiofoijfio !! i so see yunho as one of those guys in the movies about small town who’s family has has a business there for years and he’s the chill guy who shows the main character around town ? na sera first of all being a twin is automatically cool so there’s that ?? but also !! i like how hard she’s fighting to prove her own, individual self worth ! i’m definitely excited to see how she’ll find her “thing” that really riles her up and makes her feel passionate ? and that maybe she’ll decide the idol thing is for her and go forward with it as a career !

min soyoun i think soyoun’s definitely go the girl next door charm, she defintiely seems like the type who you could be friends with easily, and i think she’ll maintain that even when she’s more famous ! she gives me free spirit vibes, and i think that even if she doesn’t know how, life will somehow work to make sure she always does well ! she’s defintiely proved her individuality and i think she’ll stand out from most around her !

geum danbi ugh danbi ... the way i’m obsessed with her ! i mentioned this already but her and jaesun ? cute we ship it !! i am a stan, i am ! anyways i think that danbi is so powerful, and i don’t mean that jokingly ! she does hold a very commanding presence for me, and i really respect her resilience in continuing to fight for her debut, even after being discouraged numerous times in the past ! i think that’ll make her debut all the more worth it, as she has taken the time to get even better and improve her skills !

jang taesung taesung ... the way i really am fascinated by him ! i don’t even interact w him on my muses but he’s still so entertaining to me !! he’s so casual and i just enjoy seeing his interactions ? he isn’t afraid to be authentically him, and though he doesn’t really show it in his words all the time he’s got a lot of emotions swirling around there ! he do ... he do be messy sometimes i get it ?? he’s a lil problematic ?? but it entertains me so we will take it !

son seolmi first of congrats on seolmi as the new musical actress !! we need more of them >.< but i feel like when seolmi looks back on her training experience she’ll be very proud of herself ! she has made a lot of improvements over her training period, found her passions, and worked to prove herself ! but i think, although she’s working v hard, she’s also doing twice as good at maintaining her friendships and being good to the people around her !

seo minseok minseok a true angel !! i know we haven’t gotten to write together in a while, but seeing his thread w nari we had i saw how kind he was ! he’s loyal to the people he calls friends, open to trying new things, and i think in the future when he gains experience he’ll be a really great mentor to the people who he precedes ! 

oh max ok first off i feel like i cannot not say this everytime i see him on the dash or a thread with him i’m constantly in a state of confusion about which max it is oijoioiiojaojoi ?? but !! i’m despite their names, they’re actually pretty different ! because unlike max choi, oh max is has a very loving and warm personality, and even though he comes from money you couldn’t really tell by his personality ?

park dohyun i def want him and max to interact together, side note !! because they’re both goofs and, of course, we need as many lgc boys connections as we can ! but anywho, i love dohyun, as i feel muses such as him are v necessary ! he definitely provides comic relief, and even though he doesn’t like to reveal his emotions, that just reveals another component to his emotional depth ! even if he isn’t someone who is vulnerable, i think it is great he does his best to make others happy !!

lee jiho i mean can i pls just adopt jiho as my child ?? he’s so cute oijjoijoij !! i think all though he’s ambitious and knows what he wants in life, he’s also realistic with himself and knows what he can expect and how to work toward a clothes ! it’s a trait not everyone has so i like that he does ! i think he’s also enough of a positive thinker that throughout any troubles he may have, he’ll get through it with a nice mindset !

lee hanbyul i think that once debuted officially officially, hanbyul will definitely grow in popularity almost immediately ! she’s already done well at gaining the hearts of fans even when she was a trainee, and with so many friends and opportunities under her belt she’ll get big in no time ! i think she’ll definitely be well known and that she’ll bring multiple fandoms together because it’s just hard not to like her !

jung jihye i love jihye !! she’s so raw and rolling with all the punches life has given her ? even after a rocky start to her career, she’s ready to give it a second chance, and although she went through a lot of bullying discovered a newfound love for acting ! i think that her dedication to being happy will show in her passion for whatever she acts in in the future, and i’m excited to see how the public perceives her !

tsai sunisa isa is the ultimate chill dude haha !! i think that he’s very calm and level-headed, while not coming off as careless ? although he’s very casual, he clearly does care about the other’s around him, and i think for him that shows in the little details rather than the big things ? i think he’s the type of person who does well at picking up on the energies of others, and noticing small details about them !  v v cool 💖😌

shin yeseo u KNOW me and max are collectively whipped for her oijoijoi !!! no but honestly, from what i’ve viewed of yeseo from an outside perspective, she’s goes beyond the socially required level of thoughtful ? she really does listen to everyone’s perspective and do what she thinks is best for everyone involved and i really like that ! i also like that the simple things are enough to make her very happy, and that she puts her all into the ones she cares for ! 

kang yonghwa i love how in love yonghwa is in with life, and how bright his spirit is !! he has such a ... sunshine spirit ? that’s the best way i can put it ! he’s just so positive the majority of the time, and i feel he has the ability to see the best traits of others and bring that out of them ! i also love his sense of adventure, and i think he’ll be a favorite for fans in no time ! kang yonghwa, 10 / 10, our best boy !!

kim hyunbin hyunbin reminds me of a cartoon character, in the best way ! he’s definitely very theatrical, and also has a more playful, teasing side to him ? i think that everyone needs a hyunbin in their life because he’s very considerate of the emotions of the people around him, and on top of that has a lot of interests and boosts any social scenario !

choi jinyoung jinyoung ... an angel ! it’s so my fault we don’t but we should plot more ! uwu anywho ! first off, happy belated birthday to him ! i noticed that during our to the max thread, despite being a little overwhelmed by human tsunami max choi, he stayed very polite and was open to trying a new experience out, and for that i really gained respect for him ! i think he’s a v soft boy but i don’t think he’s weak at all, in fact maintaining his kindness for others has shown my just how strong he is !!  😇😇

oh eunhye just like her article says, eunhye has a real knack for entertaining and i think it’s already begun to show ! i think her authenticity easily transfers to the camera, and that it makes people love her all the more ? she has the type of hypnotizing personality that makes people want to get to know her, and i don’t think it’s coincidence that she’s had the opportunities that she’s had already come to her !

oh gitaek congrats on becoming a producer gitaek !! clap clap !! hehee but i think gitaek is very adaptable ! even in environments when he doesn’t want to do anything, he’s going to push through - like dancing, for instance ! also him and hyunbin’s dynamic ?? v interesting. i’m invested on seeing where it goes ! i think gitaek has a lot of potential, much of which he’s already showing, and i think he’ll have no problem discovering himself fully and becoming big !

son alec just gotta say i always mix him and alex up on accident i wanna scream oijooi !! but also while scrolling his page and saw this: “ old people are amazing, is the conclusion he’s come to yet again  ” and i just wanna say i love him for that ojojoioij !! but anyways, alec gives me the vibe of a young adult still sort of finding their way, and i really love that ! he enjoys what he does but still has doubts, and i think that little back and forths very important ! i hope he becomes a super famous actor and achieves all his dreams !

son jieun i love how much jieun cares for her friends !! she was bold enough to straight up call taesung out for mistreating allie and tbh ... kinda in love with that energy ?? i think her bravery goes beyond even just this though, as she’s already tried many new things that others may have strayed away from in fear ! her sense of justice and determination is something i admire and honestly i feel like if it wasn’t for her obvious career path she’d be a great lawyer haha !!

nam jueun it’s the way i want to claim that i indeed am one of seojin & jueun’s biggest fans ... i am 😌✌ but listen !! i have to respect jueun for the way that she’s managed to repair a damaged relationship AND work on herself and her career at the same time ? and both are going good ! she’s also got a real edge to her, and i feel like she doesn’t realize just how cool she is ?? we stan !

park seojin now we alr know ... seojin is one of the muses i am most whipped for in legacy i cannot lie i’m sorry !!! listen ,,, i love my tsundere !! he’s had exceptional development, but in really small yet significant ways, and he’s grown so much in the time he’s been here ! in terms of max, he’s definitely starting to take on a more nurturing role, and in term of himself, getting a better idea of who he is as an artist and a person and i think that’s gonna really show when his band debuts ! also think he’ll be a strict yet incredibly respected mentor when the day comes ? anyways i’ll just say i l*ve park seojin and go 😭💔

lee jiae lee jiae, the apple of my eye !! i was astounded how much kindness could be fit into one small body ?? even in situaitons she doesn’t like, she maintains her bright spirit that brings people to her in the first place, and i think that comforts the people around her if they’re having a hard time as well ! but i think she also does have a bit of a chaotic side when panicked and i do love it i do !! do not underestimate lee jiae everyone i am betting all my money on the fact that she can beat some ass !!

hwang sori first of all her theme made me gasp it’s literally so incredibly gorgeous omg ?? but !! the first thing i read was hwang sori is an ugly crier and that made ME ugly cry with laughter LMAOWAOOA !!  even though she’s relatively new i’ve already come to love how out of the box and unapologetically her she is ! she has so much to offer, both on and off stage, and i know she’s destined to be a star ! i’m already so invested and excited to see what she does in the future !

lee aaron aaron !! our dad of the year sobs. of course, my favorite thing about aaron is how nurturing he is ! he has no problem taking care of others, and i think that although it’s easy for younger / less experienced trainees to be intimidated by those above them, aaron removes that stigma completely ! truly a gentle soul. my only complaint about aaron is that he’s so selfless that i feel he sometimes forget about himself, so aaron please eat more and take care of your health oijoijoioij !! 

lee youngmin the way i love youngmin !! i was so touched by his patience when he helped my baby nari get herself together when it came to learning lines for cram school ! it proved to me that he’s a v caring person, and even if acting was sort of a sore subject for him, he still went through with helping her ! and that brings me to my next point - congrats for joining the actors youngmin !! i admire him for giving something he’s apprehensive about another shot, and i’m so incredibly excited to see how it goes for him !

song yifei ok even though i don’t know yifei too well yet seeing her intro did help me see why i’m going to love her so much !! i appreciate her adaptation to such an unusual environment like korea, and although i’m sure she’s homesick and a little lost she’s already doing her part to adjust to life in korea ! starting so young, i have to admire her work ethic and her strength by not giving up ! i’m excited to see what she can offer us all ! 

hwang minsik ok so !! even though minsik is quite the introvert, i think it’s v cool that he has worked past that, and although it may have been uncomfortable, got more comfortable performing in front of others ! i think that being in his head for the majority of the time will actually prove to work in his favor, as it’ll be easier to transfer all the emotions he’s feeling into his music when he locks down and pursues his dream of being a producer !

tsuchiya mitsuki from what i’ve seen, mitsuki seems to be very considerate of others, and i like that she celebrates other’s accomplishments outside of just her own ! the entertainment career can be a very risky and sometimes scary one, but i think that she’s doing a great job at rolling with it and putting her all into forming it into a serious career path for herself !

yamashita ichika i think she put it best - she’s new to korea, but not this world !! i love love LOVE how sure of herself ichika is, and though it may come off as blunt, maybe y’all aren’t just ready to accept the truth she’s spilling ... 👀 lMAO no but for real !! she’s a woman who knows what she wants and i never will be mad at that ! you can never say that ichika doesn’t keep it real and i think that’s something we need to learn from her !

hwang subin i think subin is incredibly self-aware, which really is such a super important trait to have ?? he’s had a lot of conflicts over his training period, but he’s overcame them, and to me he holds a lot of grace even in those scenarios he has this sort of ... calmness to him ? idk maybe that’s subjective but that’s how i feel ! i think in the end he’s going to turn the pain into power, and he’ll be one of the people really idolized for their resilience !

kim minjee i feel like along her path to fame, she’s learning all sorts of new things about herself in the industry, and that feeling of self-discovery is awesome ! i think she’s a really good example of the changes people go through throughout their path toward stardom ! i think she does her best to embrace both the highs and lows life brings her, which i think is preparing her to be a really steady person when it comes to being famous !

im hyunjin my baby !! the way i love him beyond measure !! he gets along with max so well and i love how well they balance off each other’s energy ! he’s got a boyish charm that helps me remember that yes, a lot of the trainees are still kids at heart, and that reminder is v refreshing ! though a lot has been thrown on him with this trimester, he’s been a good sport, and i think he’s such an accurate representation of someone who’s growing up in the spotlight ! i think it’s enough for me to excuse him mixing up the maxs. 😚😌

okamoto akira what a wonderful soul ugh !! he really did impact nari’s heart with his unconditional kindness. i think he’s grown even in his time in the rp alone ? he’s so kind to others, and i love how he holds interest in other people and their stories ! even though he’s still getting adjusted to life in korea, i think he’s doing a great job at getting his name out there while making a good impression of himself. but like i said about aaron pls, akira, take care of yourself more !! you deserve the best, heart heart !!

jeon haeun haeun has such an intense drive when it comes to her love for dance and performing, and i hope she never loses that ! it’s the most important thing, after all ! she’s got such a spunky personality, which will work in her favor as it will keep eyes on her even after she’s off the stage ! she’s a baby, being so young, but already has proved herself to have a worthy place in legacy, and i think she’s even got the capability to teach the older trainees a thing or two, haah !

park viggo i definitely respect viggo, because of the insecurities that have developed from his biological parents putting him up for adoption, he’s shone so brightly already at such a young age ! and i just read his solo w / his encounter with his biological father and - literal chills ?? but .... phew ! i’m so impressed by how he’s had so many horrible experience influence his life, but not let it overtake him ? he’s so strong and if he can handle what life has already thrown at him, i know he’ll have nothing but good to look forward to from now on !

techaapaikhun kit i don’t think i’ve had the chance to tell you yet .... but god i LOVE kit oijoioi !! he’s such a loveable ball of fluff ! he has a very big heart, and i feel like even when he doesn’t know exactly what to do or what’s going on he’s still very much 😊💖✨ ?? you would never think he’s a foreigner because he just seems in high spirits ! also him and daehyung’s interactions ? 10 / 10 in terms of entertainment, definitely deserves a read !

ahn yein i love the short queen energy this woman exudes !! her duality is already quickly becoming my favorite thing about her ?? she’s so this and this ! i truly cannot wait to see how she’ll let her musical style influence the type of music she produces, and i think she’s a producer full of energy who has the potential for being famous for her music and her own personality !

seo yumi though yumi did go through a lot of hardship with her first debut, i really respect her for fighting to prove she deserves a spot in a group for a second time, even if the first time wasn’t even her fault ! i think because of it, even if her light’s dimmed a little, her enhanced discipline will work in her favor, as well as her prior experience, and potentially give her a step up among others ! which, hopefully, will make the hardships she went through not to be in vein !

han insoo insoo’s gone through quite a bit, and though i’d imagine that to be incredibly tough on him, he hasn’t lost his shine ! he still has a brightness to him when interacting around the people he loves, and i think that’s what it takes to be in a band ! i wish nothing but the best for him, because honestly, i think he’s just trying to get by and have a good time, and i really have to respect it !

choi jongsuk okay so from what i see jongsuk is a tad manipulative in the way he interacts with people ... and yet ... i stan ? obviously this isn’t a very good trait, but it is entertaining, especially for a messy mun like me haha !! i think, if he wants to, he can actually use his particularly good social skills to his advantage, and become a charmer among his fans !

choi daehyun omg prince daehyun rise !!! i always love the spoiled rich boy types, because to me, they have the most room for growth ! if i’m being honest with you as ... awful as he  might be i think he’s one of those trainees who would 100% give everyone a run for their money ? because if he doesn’t have anything ( beside money ofc ) he has confidence, and well .... confidence is a dangerous thing !! i’m really really anticipating seeing how he’ll get along with the other trainees, and his journey in legacy !!

chwe hunji phew .... my adoptive son !! i admit i am slightly biased to hunji i am i am what about it !!! 😌💖 i gush about him all the time so i’ll keep it ( relatively ) short - i don’t think hunji realizes, but given the whirlwind of events that’s happened in less than a year, he’s doing a fantastic job of both grieving and growing !! he’s been able to look out for those who need him most even in his darkest times, put up with max’s shenanigans even amongst trying to decipher his feelings for him, and adapted to a ever-changing climate that comes with being a trainee in his hardest year ! not to mention how much he’s grown since his arrival !! his development ?? chef’s kiss !

kang dongwon first of all already massive respect to dongwon for doing school and training at the same time ?? that’s already difficult in itself ! but i think he’s taken a lot of risks despite not necessarily wanting to, like expanding outside of activities he’d expected that he would do ! it’s good for him to dip his toe into numerous places, and he’ll be less thrown off if he’s asked to do something unexpected in the future. also him & his relationship w his siblings is the best haha !!

park sarang first off seojin and sarang together are such a cool duo !! the concept of siblings in the industry is honestly so cool ?? but anywho ! but i soso admire sarang !! even though she was initially was following her brother’s dream, it’s gradually morphed into her own, and she really has developed an individual name for herself, which shows her passion and determinism ! i also love how they have a healthy relationship, even with normal sibling fights, without getting into super super competitive territory ?? that just shows her capability to love & that’s great !

park seon seon is def the type of girl who is just sort of taking it day by day, and i respect it so much !! she has a lot to discover of herself and what she wants to do, but quite honestly i like that about her !! i think that she’s still young and def doesn’t need to stress about it, and i like that she’s just sort of flowing in whichever direction that life wants to take her ! i can only imagine how far she’ll go when she discovers her true potential !

lim sanghyun i feel like sanghyun really is prepared for any situation that’s thrown at him, even if he feels like he can’t do it !! i mean, since birth he’s had tons of bad cards thrown at him, and yet he always manages to turn them into something good ? although it may seem like he doesn’t have good fortune, to me, it seems he has the opposite, because he always finds a way out the trenches !! i think sanghyun’s legacy’s phoenix !

choi daehyung omg daehyung has been a favorite of mine since he came !! i love peeking at the many relationships he has bc they’re tbh so interesting !! he's honestly fit to be a main character in a show ? and i think, despite what daehyung thinks, he’s grown a lot in the time he’s been here ! to me, he’s more aware of his emotions, and more reflective of the choices he makes ! sure he’s got some things to work on but let’s be real .... don’t we all ?

lau mike mike is such a breath of fresh air !! def a roll with the punches kind of guy - reminds me of those popular kids where it’s just like ... dang, things always seem to be go well for them ?? i’m jealous ?? but i think more of that has to do with mike rather than him just having good luck ! he does good at adapting & working hard, from moving to korea, to changing careers, to now training ! he seems to excel and everything he does and i have no doubt that will help him out in the long run !

li zimeng meng is so pretty !! but she’s also SO much more !! this whole thing of her feeling average, and like she didn’t really stand out in comparison to the other trainees .... it’s so real !! and honestly, so good for her ! even though she doesn’t feel special always, i KNOW she is, but i think it’s also great she has this good foundation ? because rather than being good at only 1 thing and realizing in the long run she hates it, zimeng has the potential to be super well-versed and i think she’ll be more aware of what she needs to work on to improve !

tsai king truly our king ... and i don’t mean that ironically !! i looove king’s development, i truly love to see it !! though he’s still got his pride, i think he’s transformed his confidence from blind cockiness to a reason for him to want to work hard and succeed ?? king definitely had things to work on, but he has worked on them, and i think he’s truly proved his place in legacy in the long time he’s been here !! also thoroughly impressed w how much he’s done !

bae doha i think that if I had to describe doha, it would be “ proceed with caution ” !! he’s a cautious person, i feel, who wants the balance between having a good life and keeping himself grounded ? which is a really good type of personality, and I think it would make him a leader for those around him ! he’s also very observant, and i think that will make him much more meticulous of a person as an actor !

jeon haru to me, haru seems like a team player !! he listens to the input of other’s, and i think before rushing to do what he wants to do, it’s in his spirit to think of how his actions affect other people ! and i think that’s shown in how he’s babysitting on the show, even though he’s a little panicked ! i also think he’s a good self-soother, he’s good at helping calm himself down and make himself feel better, and to me that’s so great !!

Nervously, you sat on the table near the window on the restaurant. You waited for Hyukjae since minutes ago, and actually thought if he would come to meet you at the place.

You took your phone out of your bag and send a text. There wasn’t any call or message coming from him. He was busy, of course, and you planned this since the beginning of the year because you needed to see him after his busy schedule. And because you needed to give him something.

The waitress offered you a glass of water that you gladly accepted after waiting what it seemed like days. As you took a sip of the drink, you looked at the gift on the table. It was kind of small and wrapped carefully with some paper shopping bags that you had around and decorated them to look pretty.

Slowly, you felt that maybe he wasn’t coming to the restaurant. Your phone rang in that moment, it was him.

“Hello? Y/N?” you heard his voice on the other line.

“Hi!”

“I’m sorry I’m late, I’ll be there soon,” he said, you noticed he was ashamed. “Are you still there?”

“Yes, I am here. Don’t worry,” you smiled. “I’ll wait for you.”

“Thank you, I love you.”

You could sense his smile before he ended the call. Five minutes later you saw him walking to your table, with a smile on his face. He sat down in front of you. Tonight you couldn’t express your feelings too much though.

“Hi,” he said, rubbing his hands on his lap. “I’m sorry for the lateness-“

“It’s fine. I’m glad I can see you now,” you chuckled. He looked tired, but you hope for him to forget about everything that night.

“Thanks… for understanding,” he mumbled. “How have you been?”

“Good, better now that you’re here.”

Eunhyuk smiled. You noticed the slight blush on his cheeks. You guys been seeing each other for a good time, and you liked each other, but it was difficult to say what you actually were and you wanted to be with him as much as he did.

“Actually, I had something for you,” you whispered, handing the gift that he looked at since he came. “Happy birthday.”

Eunhyuk took the canvas on his hand, admiring the wrapping. He thought it was cute and well done, just like every single thing you did.

“The wrap is so beautiful…” he smiled, looking at it directly.

“Open it.”

Eunhyuk did as you told and gasped. It was a beautiful painting of himself.

“Wow, I don’t know what to say,” he smiled widely and chuckled slightly. “I didn’t expect this, thank you.”

“You’re welcome. I spent almost a week making it,” you laughed. “But I’m happy you like it.”

“It’s gorgeous, like everything you make,” he complimented.

After he got his gift, both of you had a proper dinner and talked and joked about random stuff. He missed these kind of dates with you, and know more than ever, he was sure that he wanted to confess how much he loved you.

When you finished your food, you accompanied him to the parking lot. While you walked, he took your hand all the time, the other one had the painting you gave to him. You stopped some steps away from his car.

“I had a good time today, Y/N…”

“Me too,” you nodded.

Instinctively, you looked at him and felt the heat on your cheeks, making you turn your gaze away.

“I really liked it,” you muttered and hugged him.

Eunhyuk was surprised, but he surrounded your body with his arms. You weren’t sure about it, but you felt the urgency to do it and certainly you enjoyed his warmth. You separated from his embrace and waved your hand to him, walking away.

“Where are you going?!” he said.

“I’ll get a taxi, don’t worry,” you smiled.

“No, let me take you home,” he said. “Please.”

You hesitated, getting closer again.

“Okay, but I don’t want to be a burden…” you whispered.

“You’re not,” Eunhyuk reassured. “I’ll just ask you something in exchange…”

You were caught by surprise.

“And what is it?”

“Can I kiss you?” he asked, biting his lip.

You nodded, a smile on your face. He slowly leaned to catch your lips, soft and smoothly. You gasped into his mouth, his hand cupping your cheek to pull you closer to his body.

“That was good,” you muttered against his lips after breaking the kiss.

“I love you,” Eunhyuk confessed, taking your hand.

“I love you too.”

The sumo wrestler shifts on his seat, turning away from his own party. And he leans closer to Utahime.

"So, you drink often, neh?" He asks Utahime. "I think you're so interesting." 

Utahime starts to smile at him. And Gojo starts to frown.

"I can tell by your eyes." He shares a gaze with Utahime. And she leans away, confused. "So deep and lovely." He smiles at her. "I can only wonder what beauty your eyes have seen."

This was one smooth-talking sumo wrestler. Gojo thought with a grimace as he sipped his beer and listened in on their conversation. 

Curses. He thinks to himself. She's seen nothing but curses. 

"And your scar," The sumo wrestler casually mentions, still with that same suave smile.

"My scar?" Utahime tilts her head.

And Gojo's eye twitches from behind his blindfold when the man grazes Utahime's scar with a careful thumb.

"You have such a beautiful face." He tells her with a playful grin. "A scar like yours must have an incredible story behind it."

Utahime beams at his friendliness. And Gojo rolls his eyes.

"Let me guess," She rests a thoughtful finger on her lip. "Career over men?" She smirks, her lipstick so red against her pale finger.

Utahime found herself sighing as she nods and drinks her beer.

"We career girls have it tough, neh?" The woman in the sash starts to smile. "It's difficult finding a good man since we're always so busy."

Utahime closes her eyes and lets out a frustrated breath.

"You don't know what you're saying." She tells her for the millionth time and downs another drink. And she starts to feel a daze consume her. And she welcomed the calmness slowly washing over her.

Beside her, the woman in the sash only chuckles.

"You know, you can't afford to be picky." She adds. "It'll be difficult when you're pushing forty."

Utahime pursed her lips. And she looks at the crowd around them with a dead expression on her face.

"It's good I'm just thirty-one then." She mumbles in a heated breath.

The woman just laughs at her again, in her light, condescending giggle.

"Thirty-one is old, you know."

"Is it?" Utahime raised a brow and bitterly chugs another drink. Then, she thinks of all the friends she's lost throughout the years, fellow sorcerers younger than her who's died in the line of duty, young sorcerers who never even reached their thirtieth birthday.

"I guess thirty-one is old." She mutters quietly, her eyes allured by the shimmering gold bubbles rising from her beer. Then, she downs another drink.

"First to ten wins." She says. And as Gojo was about to ask her, win what - she had already started chugging her drink.

And Gojo had to quickly catch up.

In the end, Utahime nods with a daze in her eyes, proud of the number of drinks Gojo consumed. She was honestly surprised. She was just pulling his leg about finishing the ten drinks. 

He couldn't be that much of a moron, could he? She wondered to herself.

"I didn't reach ten, but I beat you." He was slouched over their table. "So," He slurred. "What do I win?"

"Win?" Utahime narrowed her eyes, trying to make out the blurred image in front of her.

"My prize!" Gojo barks in a drunken stupor.

"I honestly don't know." Utahime starts to laugh at him. And he started angrily tapping on their table with his hand.

"Oi, oi, oi," He said. "That's not fair." He kept tapping in annoyance.

And Utahime just kept laughing at his stupid, red face. This guy was such a bad drunk, she thought with a smile.

"There's no prize!" She laughs at him. "You didn't reach ten!"

"I beat you!" He kept barking at her. "Give me my prize!"

"All right," Utahime chuckles. "What do you want?"

Then, he points a rocking finger at the table behind her, and she laughs when she sees the karaage dish they were served.

"All right." She turns back to him with a fond smile.

And before she knew it, she could only look on in grave horror as Gojo leaned over their table and stole a kiss from her lips.

"Wha-wha-wha-" She shook in absolute shock; her eyes as wide as saucers; her lips sputtering and gapping like a fish out of water.

And the next thing she knew, Gojo barfed all over their table.

"Fucking, crazy bitch." He frothed in rage as he pinched his nose, seeing red all around him. "No wonder you're all alone, drinking yourself drunk."

"No one would want you." He laughs at her dryly, thinking she'd cry; thinking he's got her.

Utahime just looks down at him. And she spits at him. "I don't give a shit what you think." Her words dripped with venom. "So, shut the fuck up."

He looks up at the tiny woman; the woman he could so easily crush in his strong, bulging arms; in utter disbelief at the passion in her eyes, at the unfaltering firmness behind her gaze.

And he seethes. And he shakes in anger where he sat. It didn't make sense to him; how she could stand so proudly before him, how she could make him feel so small when he was twice her size.

Utahime gives him a final hateful glare. And she turns and walks away before they're even asked to leave by the izakaya's staff for the commotion they caused.

"Oi," He clenched his jaw. And he stands. And it just takes him a few steps before he's caught up to her, before he's behind her; and he reaches out with a furious hand; his blood pumping through his veins in rage.

Then, before he could grab her, a man steps in front of him; his gaze cold and threatening. And, the stranger stops him with a simple raise of his hand.

"It's done." Gojo tells him coolly, as Utahime walked out behind him. "She won." He said with a smirk, with a disappointed expression on his face.

"Maybe, try being a better man next time." He shakes his head with a condescending laugh. "Men like you give men like me a bad name, you know."

And he tauntingly pats the side of the fuming, humiliated man's face.

"Have a good life, neh?" Gojo sneers at him and pushes his face away in a disgust.

And he turns and smiles when he sees Utahime's nose raised at the air in pride, waiting for him by the bar's entrance. And with a laugh, he slings an arm over her shoulders.

Then, together, they look back at the seething man and mockingly hold out their tongues at him. Utahime gave him the finger.

"Good evening," Mei Mei casually walks up to their table. "I just saw your message." She tells Utahime.

And everyone cries in excitement and makes room for her.

"This is an intimate restaurant." Mei Mei chuckles behind her hand. "Why are we having the party here?"

"It was Gojo's turn to pick the bar." Utahime's head pops out from beside Shoko.

And Mei Mei turns to Gojo with the same chuckle. "This isn't a bar, Satoru."

She laughs. "Did you know?"

When Gojo doesn't speak, Utahime answers for him, "This place has really good beer!"

"That's why we went here."

"Neh, Gojo?"

Everyone turns to look at him.

And for a second, he turns to meet Utahime's waiting eyes.

And with a sigh, he starts to chuckle.

"They have really good beer." He repeats in concession.

And everyone just laughs at him and Utahime.

"You don't need to go some place fancy just for beer!" Yaga laughs and smacks Gojo's back. Much to the latter's annoyance.

"That's what I said!" Utahime cried. "But the beer really is so smooth!" She turns to Shoko with a wide grin.

Nanami raises his thumb at her, already on his third mug of beer. And she beams in delight.

Then, she turns to Gojo with a happy flush on her cheeks, with a wide grin on her lips. "Finally, a successful drinking party, neh?" She laughs at him.

And Gojo just raises his brows at her. And he starts to smile, defeated by the laughter escaping her lips.

"Hm." He nods and looks down at his drink.

Then, he's elbowed by Yaga, asking why he was being so quiet. And when everyone looks at him, Gojo sighs. And with a tilt of his head, closing his eyes, he starts yapping about himself and his mission from earlier.

Those Special Grade curses were so weak. He'd tell them. He didn't even break a sweat. He'd tell them.

And everyone would start shutting up. And start getting pissed. And start yelling at him for being too full of it.

"What?" Utahime suddenly butted in, laughing and teasing. "Gojo could never tie down a woman even if he tried!" She shook in laughter, grinning to her ears as she fell against Gojo's arm.

"Oh, really?" Gojo smirks, reaching out to wrap his arms around the drunken woman; when he accidentally swipes his hand on something soft.

"What-"

Gojo blinks in surprise.

And he sees an old woman next to them, a waitress trying to get their empty plates and beer cans.

"Just what-"

Gojo looked up at the old woman's vermillion face.

"Just what do you think you're holding?!!!!!"

Gojo's eyes open as wide as saucers. And Utahime wakes from her stupor in shock. And everyone in their table, everyone within earshot, turned to Gojo and the old waitress in horror.

"Uh-" Gojo laughs awkwardly and slowly pulls his hand away from the old woman's backside. "It's not what you think-"

"You sick perverted man???!!!!" The old woman flared, absolutely enraged and humiliated that some drunken fool thought he could get with her. And she starts swatting Gojo's head with a dirty rag; much to the latter's horror. And Utahime ducked away and nearly fell on her seat.

What the hell did Gojo do now?! She cried in alarm as she held her dizzy head.

"You'd lay your perverted hands on a frail, harmless woman?!!!"

"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOUR HEAD?!!!!"

She kept swatting him. Hitting him. Cursing him.

And Gojo, absolutely mortified, just wanted to disappear. He couldn't take it. Women were just beyond reason, insanely, absolutely, horrifyingly crazy!

Then, his eyes light up.

And he raises a hand, about to gesture for his infinity; when Utahime suddenly cries out, "Don't, Gojo!"

He relents that same instant, annoyed that he had to hide his abilities, that he had to hold back, once again, for the sake of the weak. 

He just really wanted the gross, wet rag to stop hitting him!

In front of him, the old woman's eye glints in a dangerous red at the sight of Gojo's raised hand. That same second that Gojo decided to relent, the old lady starts to shake, absolutely and utterly livid; thinking the drunken pervert was about to punch her.

"You dare raise your fist against a frail, harmless old woman????!!!!!!"

Gojo paled.

"I wasn't!!" He yelled at her in horror. But before he could explain himself, the woman was already shrieking at him in deliria and hitting him even harder and harder with her rag, with a tray, with everything. Everything! within reach.

"Respect your elders, you horny pervert!!!" She hit him and hit him and hit him again, to kingdom come.

Beside them, looking on, Utahime covered her mouth with a hand, utterly sorry for her poor friend who could do nothing but bite back every snide comment and surrender to the old woman's hits and curses.

They eventually leave soon after. And when they're out of sight, Gojo pulls Utahime to him and they jump straight to Jujutsu Tech, where she was lodging for the night.

"That old woman." He hissed in annoyance, still not over it.

"I know." She chuckled. "She was pretty scary."

"What a way to end the night." He seethed, looking away from Utahime's laugh, still seeing the banshee from earlier and trying to think of ways he could've gotten back at her.

"The night's not over yet, you know." He turns to Utahime, about to raise a brow at her; when she suddenly reaches up to him and kisses him on his lips.

And she laughs at the stunned expression on his face when she pulls away.

"It is Valentine's Day, after all." She laughs; thinking that even this idiot could be rendered speechless. And she walks away with her hands behind her, smiling, and leaving him for the dorms.

Heads up, this part is HELLA long with dialogue but it’s also Y/N telling Jeno EVERYTHING about her past in Europe but there was so much fluff in here that I had to UWU

Two hours later, Jeno pulled into an underground parking garage and with both your bags in one arm, he carried you bridal style to the elevator and up to his penthouse that his parents had gifted him for his 18th birthday. He was happy that the elevator went straight to his floor and that he didn’t need to open any doors. The last time he was here was when he needed to escape from everyone for a while but that was almost two year ago before the place was actually his. It still looked lived in, the people his family hired kept it in tip top shape for spontaneous visits like this one.

Placing you on the bed in his room, he decided to go take a shower and thought about what to order for food. There was a chance you’d wake up and be hungry and outside of the standard bottled water and juice, the fridge was pretty much empty.

 He walked out a few minutes later, fresh, dressed in sweats and a  muscle shirt, contacts out and glasses perched on his face. Deciding to call for Jjangmyeon and a few other things, he made his way back to his bedroom where he heard your voice talking quietly. Turning the corner, the sight before him took his breath away. 

The lights were off but the room was fully illuminated thanks to the moon shining bright through the floor to ceiling windows. You must’ve gotten hot at some point because his hoodie you wore was now beside you and you were left in your pink  tank top that accentuated just the right features. You were looking out the window, your phone attached to one ear and the glow from the moon made you look almost ethereal to him. 

“I’m sorry that happened.” you said quietly, unaware of Jenos presence, “He’s such a jerk and then what happened?” your eyes widened, “Seriously? 

Jeno decided to wait till you were finished your conversation and decided to text Doyoung. He could trust that his favorite Hyung would keep their location a secret.

[11:02pm] JeNo - Hey Hyung, I’m with Y/N right now. She’s fine. I decided to take her to the city for the weekend to get away from things ...please don’t tell anyone where we are...she needs some time to breath

[11:05pm]KDyoung - Oh thank goodness. We were so worried after the two of you ran out. Johnny and Mark went looking for you after you guys didn’t come back for an hour. WHY DIDN’T YOU ANSWER YOUR PHONE YOU DISOBEDIENT CHILD!?? AND WHERE THE HECK ARE YOU GUYS?!? SICHENG IS HAVING A PANIC ATTACK, HE’S SUPPOSED TO BE THE CALMEST ONE OF THE CLUB BUT HE LITERALLY HAD A MELT DOWN WHEN THEY COULDN’T FIND YOU. WHEN I GET MY HANDS YOU LEE JENO!

Jeno’s eyes widened as the tone in the text message escalated.

[11:06pm] JeNo - I was driving and uh...she was holding my hand and she fell asleep and you know, I really shouldn’t text and drive anyways… I took her to my place in Gangnam, we’ll probably stay the whole weekend and come back late Sunday...You can tell Sicheng and the rest of the leaders but NO one else. I don't want Y/N to get stressed out if people start showing up.

[11:07pm] KDyoung - So you want to confess...got it.

[11:08pm] JeNo - Wait no Hyung- 

[11:09pm] KDyoung - I’ll tell Sicheng that you guys are safe, come back Tuesday, I’ll make up an excuse for you two. Renjun, Yukhei and Y/N are going to be granted time off because of the death of a loved one and I can get Tae to use the emotional support reasoning for your absence.  Take care of her, that’s all I ask.

[11:10pm] JeNo - Thank you so so so so so much Hyung. Thank you...We’ll see you back at the house Tuesday night.

Jeno put away his phone as he heard you saying your goodbyes to Renjun.

“Take care of yourself.” you said, “Don’t worry about me...I will… I can’t believe you got caught, you were doing so well too...oh well..but yea I’ll talk to him. You guys are welcome to crash at my place tonight and the weekend or whatever...I’ll let you know when I know., Goodnight my dear prince.” 

After hanging up your phone, you let out a soft sigh, looking up when you felt someones presence at the door, making eye contact with Jeno.

Silently patting the spot next to you, he took it as an invitation that you were ready to talk and judging by the look on your face, it had seemed that you processed quite a few things in the short amount of time.

You curled into him the moment the bed dipped and he leaned back against the headboard, pulling the blanket cover the two over you before he wrapped his arms around you in an embrace. This sensation was familiar for the two of you as you spent many weeks of your childhood here watching thunderstorms through this very same window. 

“So Yukhei and Renjun got into a fight..” you said breaking the silence that consumed the two of you. 

“Shit seriously? What happened?” Jeno asked surprised, knowing that Renjun had started yelling at Yukhei when you ran out of the house.

“Renjun came to my defence, threw the facts in Yukheis face and I guess he couldn’t take the  truth.” you said, your voice coming out as a sigh, “Yuta, Johnny and Jae broke it up after Yukhei threw the first punch, got Renjun in the eye. Yukheis back on probation and they’ve assigned Kun to look out for him and to keep him in check. ”

“Finally, I’ve been trying to get Taeyong to do that for weeks. He didn’t even show up to practice at all this week. Also, is Renjun okay?” Jeno asked as he felt you shrug.

“He says it’s just a small bruise but Renjun’s also tough. He told me that in exchange for taking a hit for me...I had to do something for him…” you said and laid your head on Jenos shoulder inhaling the scent of his shower gel and realized that it hadn’t changed all these years.

“It would’ve been worse if I stayed behind...after hearing those things leave Yukheis mouth, Jaemin and Jisung had to hold me back from punching that asshole in the face.” Jeno said and felt you shift in his arms so you could look at him.

“Thank you for coming after me..” you said quietly, leaning up to kiss him on the cheek and he leaned down to kiss your temple, the two of you savoring the small moment your foreheads touched briefly, this was how he always calmed you down when you were upset, he was the only one who could. Like all the other times, you were able to feel yourself breath properly for the first time since you left home. The shock from the news wearing off slowly and the heavy sadness you felt was no longer present, “I guess you want to know what happened.” 

“Only if you want to tell me.” Jeno said as the two of you looked outside the window once more, “Like I said, I don’t want to push you.” 

“I want you to know…” you said, faintly playing with the ring on his index finger, the ring he was sure he’d give you one day, “You deserve to...but are you ready to hear it?“

“I’m open ears.” Jeno nodded, resting his head on your shoulder, letting out a huff, the hot air dancing across your neck, ticking you slightly “I just don’t want you to be hurting...I know how well you bottle things up and it’s so unhealthy.”

You smiled at the sound of concern from his voice and intertwined your fingers with his, feeling him hum in contentment, “What do you want to know?”

“You” Jeno responded simply, “I want to know about the girl who left town to pursue her own dreams only to come back a different person. The girl who stole my heart then…” he stopped himself for a moment when he heard you suck in a breath and realized he had nothing to lose now it wasn’t like either of you could run away, “The girl who still has my heart now.” he whispered softly but because he was next to your ear, it was loud and clear. When you didn’t say anything, clearly deep in your own thoughts, only to feel you shift deeper in his arms and he tightened his embrace, “How about you tell me about what happened tonight and we can go from there?” he suggested.

You nodded your head and cleared your throat, you couldn’t tell if it was the feeling of Jeno’s bare arms against your skin or the fact that he practically just confessed to you but the butterflies in your stomach were going crazy and you were afraid you’d explode if they didn’t stop soon.

“You remember earlier tonight when Renjun and I told everyone we were invited back to the Selects Performance team right?” you asked and felt him nod against your shoulder, “Anne-Marie...the backbone of this whole operation...her son, Xander passed away today. Only a few hours ago actually...but they suspect that he went sometime in the night. He was…” you paused, biting your lip and wiped a stray tear, “He was someone special to a lot of people. He was a mentor, a friend and a brother...he was the glue that kept everyone together.” you sniffled, feeling the urge to cry once more and you had to take a small moment to yourself.

Jeno stayed silent, his head resting between your neck and shoulder. His thumb ran comforting circles on the bare skin between your tank top and leggings while he whispered words of comfort. Urging you to continue only when you were ready. 

“He was also one of the few Select Competition Team members that Renjun and I actually went to school with. But even though he was one of the best in his year, he still treated everyone as an equal. The same way his mother taught him. He was the one who told us to audition for the Selects performance team our second year after seeing the progress we made.” you paused and choked back a sob, “He was the one who encouraged me to continue dancing even after my accident…” 

“Were you guys close?” Jeno asked curiously, wondering of the impact this person made in your life, at first you didn’t seem so upset but now you were trying not to have a breakdown. 

“We got closer when Renjun and I got the roles...he was once again assigned as our mentor...along with his partner who was another Junior, Wong Yuwen.” you muttered and Jeno stiffened.

“Yukheis sister..” Jeno muttered and felt you nod and heard your chuckle.

“She HATED my guts.” you said shaking your head, “She went to school with us too and had it out for me the moment I walked into the room.” 

“Seriously? But she didn’t even know you.” Jeno said, scrunching his nose and felt you shrug.

“It was her way of showing her dominance. Apparently she was a potential recruit for the same China club that Renjun is part of. When Renjun got accepted and she didn’t, she cut off all ties with him, even though her brother and Renjun were apparently good friends. When we met at the Selects training camp, hell broke loose.” you said thinking back to your first and only year with the Selects Team, “Because Xander, Renjun and I were already close from school, it was easy to joke around with each other during practice and he introduced us to his sister Mia, aka Renjuns current girlfriend. But on the day they met...Renjun...” you let out a sigh, “was an embarrassment to mankind and I almost regretted introducing him as my dance partner.” 

“Yikes.” Jeno said chuckling slightly, “What’s the story.”

“Mia is the one girl Renjun made a fool of himself by introducing himself as Reggie.” you deadpanned and Jeno had to laugh.

“She must’ve loved that.” Jeno said still shaking with laughter as you joined him with giggles, the heaviness of your heart lifting slightly.

“She did cause they were an item by closing night.” you said smiling slightly, “But during training and rehearsal, things were tense and this is kind of where it gets twisted, let me know if you need me to reiterate anything okay?” 

Jeno nodded and you took a breath.

“The Select Dance Company has ONE golden rule and it is a rule to be followed by everyone with no exceptions." you started.

“ You aren’t allowed to be romantically involved with your partners.” the two of you said at the same time and Jeno chuckled.

“Renjun explained it to me after I caught him talking to his girlfriend.” he explained when you gave him a look of curiosity, “But that’s another story, go on.”

“There were three known partner pairings within the dance company. Renjun and I represented the Juniors all around, Jongin and Mia were known for their strong stage presence and both incorporated Hiphop into a lot of their styles while Xander and Yuwen danced beautifully together but during rehearsal, it was an eyesore because Yuwen constantly threw herself at Xander and it was painfully obvious. I always found him hiding out in one of the practice rooms during our breaks when he needed to get away from her and I wanted to leave Renjun and Mia alone.” you smiled thinking of the short twenty minute breaks the two of you spent in the small practice room, talking about life, his battle with cancer which you only found out about by mistake and your transition from home to a new school.

You explained to Jeno that with Xander, it was like you and him. The practice room was your haven where you forgot about dance and were just yourselves even for a short period of time. 

“Did you...did you ever have feelings for him?” Jeno asked hesitantly, it wasn’t like it mattered anymore but he was just curious. 

“I asked myself that a lot during my time with him. Honestly, I don’t really know.” you answered honestly, “He was everything a girl could want, he was kind, smart, good looking...more princely than Renjun for sure..But I could never think of him that way and I made it clear the day he confessed.” 

“Wait, he confessed?” Jeno asked shocked and you nodded once more.

“Right after the semi-finals of our first year.” you said, “It was short and sweet, I like you more than a friend and it was the reason why I never asked to dance with you was all he told me. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t find it in my heart to accept him…” you whispered looking down, “I couldn’t accept him knowing that I left my heart back here with you. It wouldn’t be fair to either of us…So I told him that I couldn’t be with him knowing that deep down, my heart belonged to someone else and that he would always be an older brother to me. He took the rejection a lot better than I expected and I was glad our relationship didn’t change from that. If anything, it got better for everyone for a while.” 

Jeno listened intently as you told your story, he was glad to know that you always kept a part of him with you. It wasn’t like he didn’t know that already, the little reminders he saw around your bedroom ranging from pictures to gifts he’d given you, displayed for everyone to see were enough to tell him that you never stopped thinking of him. He still had one question though, how did Yukhei play into all this? “So Yuwen hated you and Yukhei wanted you...but Yukhei and Xander were best friends so technically, Yukhei broke the bro code by pursuing you in the first place.” 

“Pretty much…” you confirmed, “Xander wasn’t an idiot. He knew what Yukhei and Yuwen were doing. He didn’t know they were behind my accident till much later though and that was after we finished performing Swan Lake for the first time. After that…” you frowned and your hand tightened around his, “he started getting sick again...right around competition season our second year...we were hanging one day and he collapsed and I rushed him to the hospital. Renjun was with Mia and her mom on a trip to Paris that weekend so I stayed with Xander till they got back. I was with him when he got his test results back...he made me promise not to tell anyone. I didn’t out of respect, as much as it bothered me...I kept it to myself.” you sniffled, “I didn’t compete that season...I wanted to be there for Xander...when Renjun, his sister and mom got back...we had to break the news to them that his cancer returned and was growing at an aggressive pace..he had to start treatment immediately.” you smiled thinking about how much your friend fought for his life.

“What about Yukhei and Yuwen?” Jeno asked, “How did they react to it all?” 

“Xander cut all ties with Yukhei once he realized that he was behind my accident and he pulled out of the competition team when he got sick, leaving Yuwen to go solo once more.” you explained, “When it was announced that Xander would withdraw, she had a freak out. She blamed me for it all. Cornered me in the hall and pretty much yelled at me...She lost it when Xander came to my defense...she tried to slap me but Renjun and Jongin were able to hold her back while Xander and Mia took me somewhere else.” you chuckled to yourself, “I think she was more shocked that Xander actually yelled at her as opposed to him coming to my defense...She was dismissed from the Selects team that year by Anne-Marie herself. When we got back to school the following year, it was also Renjun’s last year before he went to train with the Chinese Ballet Association so he and Mia spent as much time together as they could and I took care of Xander up until I left. He and Jongin were the ones who encouraged me to attend SMAA.” you finished and let out a big sigh, “The last time I talked to him was two days ago and he said he was doing fine…” you said with a frown, “But he always didn’t want us to worry...I figured he lied.” 

“He probably did it for a good reason…” Jeno reasoned, running his hand through your hair in a comforting manner, “From what you told me, the two of you seemed to care for each other a lot... I would’ve loved to meet him.” 

“He said the exact same thing two days ago when I was telling him about you.” you said with a tearful smile, “He knew all about you, our past, everything. I think if it weren’t for him, Mia and Renjun, I would’ve lost my mind back there.” you chuckled and wiped more tears, accepting the tissue Jeno offered you and leaned into him so there was literally no space between you, “Thank you for letting me explain...for letting me get this off my chest.” 

“Thank you for letting me in. For letting me get to know the new you.” he whispered, placing a kiss on top of your head before resting his face in your hair, inhaling the scent of your shampoo that he knew all too well, surprised it hasn’t changed all these years.

Everything was sinking in for Jeno, he was glad you opened up about your past. The pain you went through, the person you became, he couldn’t believe you went through so much alone. You were a fairly private person to begin with and he knew that back in the day, he was the only one you would confide in, the only one you could trust. Now, you had Renjun, Jisung and Hana, three people who he saw as the keys that unlocked the door you called a heart. 

Hana was the female presence you needed. You didn’t really get along with the other girls when you were growing up and mainly depended on him and Jaemin from time to time. Hana on the other hand understood you and you shared the same sense of humor which was probably why she and Jaemin were going so strong. 

Jisung was essentially you in male form. You both had a lot in common from video games to your favorite foods and you were both extremely talented dancers. Your sense of humor, like Hana was the same and Jisung would often push boundaries with the two of you more than he would with Jeno and Jaemin. He also knew that Jisung cared deeply for you, to fly to another continent to be with you in your time of need was one thing, but the fact that he actually carried your iron supplements around showed that the memory of you collapsing was still fresh on his mind and despite reassurance, he still wasn’t sure what his friends feelings towards you were.

With Renjun, Jeno couldn’t figure it out yet. With Renjun, he saw sides of you he had never seen before. He saw your violent aggressive side that you unleashed on a daily basis towards your Chinese friend who did not hesitate to unleash his wrath right back, he also saw your serious, focused side when you and Renjun would review choreography, often harshly critiquing the other but the critiques made you both better right away. He got to see a new you, the real you. So many sides of you he was unfamiliar with yet, they were all qualities that made him fall deeper.

“So...I know this is sudden..” Jeno said breaking the silence and you shifted in his arms to look up at him, “Do you want to go on a date tomorrow?”

- Welp, I’ve followed some of these bands before and I just officially considered myself a part of their fandoms: Carat (Seventeen) and Moa (txt).2 new fandoms that have caught my eye have been Stay (Stray Kids) and NCTzens (NCT 127). If anyone wants to show me more kpop bands to get into, by all means go ahead. I’d rather fall in love with another kpop boy than get my heartbroken by any other guy. 

6. How is the pandemic treating you?

-I’m safe and sound but my anxiety has gotten way worse than the usual. I’m working on that though. My job has become a bit hectic since I have to do it all online but it’s not impossible :)

I'm sorry in advance for the long messages that are about to ensue but I hope they can give you a clear depiction of who I am and will make your decisions easier and more precise!! uwu  I'm a 20yo Leo girl who's studying Biomedical Engineering and Arts (with an English major!!) in Syd. I used to be a guitarist in a high school band and am in general more of an independent individual than a leader/follower.   1/8

I'm a shy person but some of my friends say I exude a quiet confidence HAHAHHAH. Other ways my friends/family have described me include: smart, kind, awkward, cute, determined, hardworking, creative and being a happy virus. I generally do well in my studies and am particularly good in Physics and English! However my flaws include: being too playful at times till it accidentally gets someone hurt, usually running late, having terrible mood swings and being a lil too competitive at times   2/?

(esp towards my younger siblings unfortunately) and being extremely indecisive!  I love writing but I have a problem of keeping within word limits. I love spending time with my dogs, being up early and generally don't mind waking up early but I like my mornings quiet and calm as I enjoy my breakfast hahahhah. I tend to work out quite a lot and particularly love cycling! I generally spend a lot of time in my room but I love fun social events like parties and weddings (I'm not sure why??).  3/?

I love cartoons/animated films a lot idk why but they give me a sense of relief from all my stress and they just make me feel good after watching them?? I also love creating random customized stuff like designing a birthday cake for my brother or creating a specialty dish for Mother's Day. Things I don't like include: loud noises, inconsiderate people, snails, being looked down upon, judgemental and close-minded people, presentations in front of large crowds and chocolate (sorry!!).  4/?

Trainer class: Fairy tale girl

You walk to the beat of your own drum, but in a somewhat subdued way most of the time. Onlookers might think you to be a bit eccentric but also a bit quiet. In battle, you can be ferocious and emotional but also playful and excitable. You love inserting creativity into your daily life and you love being able to see the best in all pokemon. You have a lot of energy and can come across as being somewhat childish when you are in a playful mood, but when you are feeling more studious you can be an intimidating level of intelligence. Starter: Eevee

Your starter pokemon is Eevee. Eeevee is a very unique pokemon and a notoriously indecisive pokemon in the ways that it can evolve. Eeevee is inquisitive and a perfect fit for your excitability. You and eevee are a wonderful match for exploring and learning new things together. Eeevee will never judge you and will always stand by your side when you need it and when you want to have fun. Eevee has a lot of energy, so you might end up spending a lot of your own energy calming it down enough to go to bed at night. Mareep is a very soft pokemon, both in the emotional sense and in the physical sense. Your hometown is Circhester in the Galar region. Circhester is a somewhat large town that a lot of tourists move through. Circhester is home to the Hero’s Bath, which is the pride of the town. From growing up here, you learned a lot of history and you have learned a lot about all of the people who have lived and moved around in Circhester. This gave you a natural curiosity and an interest in learning more about other people and about what it means for pokemon to be strong and for a trainer to be brave. Circhester gave your interest in bonding with people and also gave you your warm aesthetic sense. 


Battle style: Playful and intimidating

You are quite a rambunctious trainer and tend to go your own way. You prefer the paths that look less traveled, quite literally. You will find yourself lost sometimes, looking for places to find interesting pokemon you haven’t met before or interesting people. You are the kind of trainer that one would run into deep in the corner of a forest lifting rocks to try and find something interesting. Your inquisitive mind and high level of playfulness makes you a very fun person to battle, as long as you aren’t in a competitive mood in which case you can be a fierce and emotional opponent. You have been known to yell and get very into battles, which spurs on your own pokemon and tends to act as an intimidation factor for your opponent’s. You are a strong and independent rival to many other trainers who started at the same time as you, and you compete with them not only in battle but also intellectually and in terms of the knowledge you have accumulated in your travels. You want to find new things to learn but you also dive deeply into new things that interest you, so you have a lot of knowledge about a lot of things pertaining to pokemon and the people around you. You connect with trainers who you battle with, and so you have a large amount of numbers in your phone for people who want rematches or who want to tell you new things they learned. Your energy spurs your pokemon on during battle and brings you new connections with pokemon and with people, never lose your passion and always allow yourself to let lose during battle so that you and your pokemon can have as much fun as possible.

6) how is your life different now from two years ago

hmm.... july 2018.... tbh not a whole lot has changed since, then, graduate school has a funny way of being all the same all the time. but i can think of a few... 

school/job-wise, i became a doctoral candidate in june 2018 which was just over 2 years ago and that was cool, and my research was finally published in december 2019 which kicked ass. actually the project that was published wasnt even finished until october 2018 so i guess that too. my mentor and i have developed a really great mentor/mentee relationship that i attribute a good amount of personal growth to, bc for like the first time in my life i have someone actively helping me quash a lot of self doubt.

personal life-wise, hmm... in october 2018 i had the plate in my knee removed bc it was severely impeding my recovery and making it hard to walk. i figured out how to sit down on the floor and get up from the floor and go up and down stairs one at a time with a railing, then without a railing, learned how to crouch about halfway to normal, built up my stamina to stay standing for about an hour with minimal discomfort whereas before i suffered if i stood for 10 minutes. the girl that almost killed me was finally arrested and convicted and put in jail which doesn’t fix or reverse anything but still felt like some kind of justice. 

and then personality wise i am just a little less afraid of getting things wrong. still terrified and still impacts my life, but i am able to give things a shot instead of dismissing them outright. led to me finding out i’m pretty good at some stuff i otherwise never would have tried. i’m also a little less afraid of asking for help or setting boundaries. therapy has that effect i guess. 

i’m also way more long-winded than before, i feel like, as presented here. oops. i also feel like i’m much more forgetful and scatterbrained than before. not sure if it’s from stress, or a natural progression of taking on more obligations and learning how to balance them, or a long term side effect of having who knows what pumped into me for a month straight three years ago. maybe all three?

15) what is your favorite memory

questions like this are hard bc i have a pretty bad memory and favorite memories only come to me when i encounter something that reminds me of it? it’s really hard to call upon specific memories. but i’ll at least try to think of a nice one from recent memory, i’m sure it’ll be far from my favorite but that’s okay. 

hmm... oh actually my most recent birthday (abt 2.5 weeks ago) was really really nice? nothing super special happened; i got up, i went to work, i went home and bought myself an ice cream cake and video called my family. but throughout the day i had more people wishing me happy birthday than i ever had in my life. i’m a fairly active member of the rq official discord and i had no fewer than 2 dozen people immediately send happy birthday messages if they caught the implication from someone else (maybe more, that server is huge and it’s hard to keep track). and i’m in another, smaller server (you may be familiar uwu) where i’ve pretty fairly recently gotten to know a new group of people that seemed to pretty quickly welcome me into their friend group and i got some really nice birthday sentiments there too. and then at work i didn’t even really tell anyone it was my birthday, but i’m friends with one of my lab mates on facebook and he must have had birthday notifications on because he came by and wished me a happy birthday

obvs the last few months have been really isolating for just about everyone, but tbh it’s been especially hard for me bc i don’t really have many friends to begin with and definitely like no friends in my home town so my minimal social contact of like just small talk at the store and only having real conversations with coworkers being taken away has had me fairly down? but apparently over the past few months i have slowly been submitting myself to the mortifying ordeal of being known, even just a little bit, and reaping the rewards of being loved in return, no matter how small, felt really nice and made it a really special day uwuwuwuwu

17) what ‘small things’ things terrify you

i know i have some intangible existential fears that would definitely seem trivial to some people but see above point about having a really hard time calling upon specific memories, and also i’m in a good mood so i’m not gonna try too hard. but off the top of my head two silly weird fears i have are 1) heights and 2) having people around me start singing. 

1) i know heights are a very common fear/phobia but you don’t understand. i’m talking “i will literally freeze in place if i try to step onto this 4-inch stepstool, like seriously my conscious mind will not be able to lift my second foot onto the step, like it’s bolted to the ground” PETRIFIED of heights. i cannot stand on anything my brain perceives as not-solid-ground. this means i’m actually okay in airplanes and things like the st louis arch. i actually love that shit, i’ll look down at the ground and enjoy the view all day. but the second i have a single doubt about my ability to stay upright, fuck the fight/flight/freeze response. we are on 24/7 freeze/freeze/freeze response LOCKDOWN.

2) i’m talking flash mobs, i’m talking karaoke night, i’m talking people singing happy birthday to me. the idea of it puts me in “find an escape” mode, and being in it gives me the worst second-hand embarrassment ever, even if it’s all in good fun and there’s no reason for anyone involved to be embarrassed. this extends even to movie musical numbers (i actually skipped the scene in the tavern in disney’s tangled bc it gave me weird anxiety) and shit like hearing someone i know from another medium begin to sing (this is why it took me so long to check out the mechs and also why i cannot listen to recordings of friends singing as much as it would mean a lot to them for me to do so). idk if there’s a name for this phenomenon or if i’m the only person on the planet with this weird almost-or-maybe-complete phobia.
