Roundabout
Roundabout
A village in Khordha district Golbai is a village in the Khordha district (undivided Puri district). The geographical location of Golbai is 20 ° 25'14 "North latitude; 85 ° 49'03" East longitude. It is about 60 km southeast of Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha. Far away. Golbai can be reached by road and rail. Biju Patnaik International Airport is the closest airport to Golbai. Golbai's PIN code is 752020. Until the second half of the twelfth century, Golbai was not widely known. However, the village is famous for its archeological and medieval temples discovered in the 1990s. Historians believe that an ancient civilization or settlement was formed in the southeastern part of the present-day village of Golbai.
Archaeological significance-- B., who works in the fourth branch of the Department of Archeology. K. Excavations at the Sinha Golbai regime have uncovered new stone, copper and iron ore items. The first excavations began in 1991. Copper and iron objects of the second and first millenniums were discovered. Sinha Pawnshia and Red Pottery Rescued. The items from Golbai and Sankherjang are believed to be of the same age. On the banks of the Golbai, new rocks, copper rocks, pre-iron, pre-historic, and medieval settlements were formed. The bush is large in size and covered with thick bushes. In the past, the hill was like a small hill, but now it is divided into a dirt road. The road may have been paved when it came to going to the river. Chariots, cattle, and people coming and going split the road into two sections. Other parts of the dome have also been preserved. Archaeological excavations by the Indian Archaeological Survey have found that in the first phase of excavations on the south side of Dhepar, ash, coal, broken pottery and many handicrafts have been discovered. The wreckage of the rescued pottery was found to be of different ages. The earliest known pottery was found in the depths of the earth, which is believed to have been made of hand-rolled or slow-moving parallel surfaces or wheels. The pottery found at the top level is believed to be of relatively high quality, made with the help of handmade and pottery wheels. In the second phase of excavation, pottery of a new stone age was discovered. Although most of the metalware was not found, some of the stone foundations, other weapons, tools, etc. were found. Other discoveries include tools and equipment made of deer, goats, and cattle horns and bones. While most of the bones or horns are undamaged, some of the bones that have been polished towards the end of the Stone Age have also been found. The equipment found is believed to be mainly used in plowing, digging, digging, digging and so on. Among the tools found were spears made of bones, daggers made of bones, and so on. Bones such as ivory, cattle, and goats have also been found. The age of broken pottery is estimated by the carbon-14 timing method.
Finding a New Stone Age-- The red clay pottery, the ash-colored pottery, and the brown pottery are said to be of the new stone age. Rescued pottery may have been part of a utensil, pot, pot, hammock, or toy. The rounded and square faces of some of the utensils were also found in the rubble. Pictures are also painted in some pots. Finding the Copper-Stone Age-- There is no significant difference between the copper-clay age and the clay age of the new rock age. Only carbon dating (carbon-14 timing methods) tests can have different timing. The remains of the earthenware pottery depicted at the time were not recovered. Among the items of the time were red glitter and smooth pottery. Archaeologist Sinha argues that circular faces, pottery and pottery with round faces, pots, pans, utensils, and earthenware are of copper-stone age.
Medieval temple architecture-- Some medieval temples or the remains of four shrines can be seen on the hill. Of the temples of this time, only the Jaleswar temple is in good condition. The Jaleswar temple is located on the banks of the Malguni River. The temple It is believed to have been built in the 11th or 12th century. Shiva is worshiped at the Jaleswar temple and is still worshiped here. The Archaeological Department of the Government of Odisha has taken steps to preserve the temple.
Ancient city civilization-- Evidence of a prehistoric city has been found as more archeological finds continue in the vicinity of the Golbai regime. On the left bank of the Malguni River is the Golbai Archaeological Site and the Jaleswar Temple on the left bank of the river. On the right bank of the river, on the opposite side of the Jaleswar temple, a site surrounded by the Pota wall has been found. The remains of the buried fort are known as "Talgarh" and there is a village a short distance from the ruins, now called Talpada. It is located on the other side of the river at a distance of 500-1000 meters from Golbai.

When one plans for a holiday it is but natural that he or she would like to maximize the trip. A good holiday starts with a good hotel where you have access to all modern amenities which would give you enough time to explore and get the real flavours of it. Those who plan a trip to Puri choose the place for these very reasons. This city in coastal Odisha offers its visitors a chance to enjoy its beautiful beaches, learn about its rich culture and tradition and at the same time visit some of the most exotic locations in its vicinity. In the city one can visit the 12th century Jagannath Temple standing majestically as a symbol of people’s faith and belief, walk around in the market place to buy some beautiful handlooms and handicraft items. Puri is famous for the Pattachitrasorthe traditional paintings which is done on a specially made canvas called Patta or the drawings are done on palm leaves using an iron pen. The artists make intricate patterns of flower and animal motifs which generally show mythological scenes. You can visit the artists’ village in Raghurajpur, which is just about 12 kilometres from the main city and see the people at work. Most of the people in this village are engaged in this activity and you can buy the paintings directly from them. To get the real essence of the place you must talk to the local people who are extremely tourist friendly, try some local dishes and walk into the narrow by lanes to see the old houses with architectural designs of an ancient era.
Tumblr media
Tourists come to the city all throughout the year but the winter months are considered to be the peak season after the time during the RathYatra which is attended by more than a million people every year. It’s easy to Puri as it is very well connected and for those coming from abroad the airport in Bhubaneswar is just an hour away. When it comes to finding a hotel in the city you will get plenty of options as there are lots of hotels and resorts which have come up in the recent years to accommodate the ever increasing number of tourists coming here. But most of these hotels are cheap and sometimes it is disheartening to find a big discrepancy between what they promise and eventually what they deliver. Out of the well-known hotels here Holiday Resorts is the best and definitely the most popular. This beach resort Puri Holiday Package has a website which tells you exactly what they offer and guests feel happy when they come and find things matching their expectations. The hotel has won the certificate of excellence for two consecutive years from trip advisor and those who have stayed here always look forward to coming back again. If you decide to stay then online booking can be done as it will give you a chance to get a room as per your wish. The hotel has all kinds of rooms to choose from and they include some standard, deluxe and family rooms along with a number of beach cottages. The two presidential suites are gorgeous and are often referred to as the honeymoon suites. Facility wise this is ideal and the guests have everything they might require within the premises.
Food becomes a major concern especially when you are travelling with children but here all your worries will vanish when you visit their multi cuisine restaurants. Here you can order a variety of dishes including Indian, Chinese and some great Continental dishes. The Seafood Restaurants in Puri they serve is best in the city and people come here especially to sample the scrumptious fare. One of the restaurants has a bar that serves all kinds of alcoholic beverages and here you must try the cocktails and mock tails which are very popular. The hotel has gift shops that you can visit, a travel desk where you can hire a cab, get a package tour and in fact you can easily cancel or book your tickets through them. The children coming here have a field day as there is a huge garden to run around, the beach is right next door and the hotel has an exclusive play area complete with video games, board games and a karaoke system.
