Iiiiit's Voting Time! - Anime Poll

Aaanyway, if you're new here, I wanna watch anime, my goal today is to finish up a marathon of Fruits Basket, and this time all the Start poll options are gonna be things that are currently airing, so if one of them wins, another poll happens immediately and that becomes my background weekly watch for a while.

Handa-kun - Saiki K, but if Saiki K got his wish and didn't have powers. That's how it was pitched to me, that's what I know about it, that sounds fucking awesome.

i just started watching handa-kun (im on episode nine) and this show has me in actual shambles like this is supposed to be a light hearted comedy why does the main character have my heart in a knot. okay maybe thats an exaggeration and also improper use of a metaphor but you know

I just started watching Handa-Kun and… wow this anime is absolutely hilarious??? But also, this poor guyy. Plus, the opening animation is so wild and amusing?! And catchy. New current favourite, complete series, not a recent release.

I think one of the biggest issues I have with Handa-Kun is everyone else's reactions to Handa's "real" personality.

Keep in mind that the paranoid anxious teenager isn't Handa's natural state, and that in middle school he was a pure hearted, innocent, golden retriever of a boy. It's the shock and paranoia that made him "stoic" and "cool" to his peers.

What frustrates me is that we see what it would be like for Handa if he were still that person in highschool when he looses his memories. Everyone hated his personality.

I guess you could write it off as everyone just being too shocked by the sudden change and wanting to get him back to normal or whatever, but it just goes to prove their adoration for his is fickle. And like yeah, that's kinda the point, but it still frustrates me.

What frustrates me even more is that we know Handa is still like that. When Handa can be himself, around his parents, and Kawafuji(:|), Handa is more excited and up beat, it's being around others people that pulls his walls up.

Ans I'm sorry, but the ending is not satisfying in the slightest. It felt so rushed.

I dont know, I like the Handa-Kun anime, I guess, its lighthearted and fun and some of the jokes are kinda funny, but when I watch it I have to mentally force myself to pretend it is in to way Related to Barakamon, because I get real frustrated when I remember that fact.

y'all I just watched Handa-kun and while the show is a comedy it has huuuuuuuuuuuuuuge potential for angsty fics but theres practically none (˃̣̣̥ᯅ˂̣̣̥) please authors I'm begging you for angsty Handa-kun fics the world setup is just perfect for that kind of thing

I'm reading a no squip au for bmc where Jeremy is still friends with Rich, Jake and them, and I really love the idea of Jeremy just being this fuckin Handa-Kun esque guy.

And since there's very little chance any of you have watched Handa-Kun, it's basically about this guy who thinks everyone hates/dislikes him but really everyone loves him and there's literally a fan-club dedicated to him. And maybe not that last bit for Jeremy, but you get what I mean.
