I wanted to ask you did you watched the originals and do you ship klaroline or klamille and what do you think of steroline?

i was a klamille girlie (and halijah :( i'm never over it) through and through, and i love cami so, so dearly and never totally forgave/recovered from what they did to her. my brave girl. i loved the originals a lot and at its best still think it was the superior show, as much as i loved tvd too. the cast (joseph and daniel always get singled out specifically, and for good reason, but charles, leah, claire, phoebe, yusuf!!! et al were all so great) , the insane mikaelson dynamics, the setting in new orleans, the lean in to the grander mythology and gothic horror...catered to me very specifically.

i also don't hide that i was shamelessly a diehard stelena (and to a lesser degree datherine and forwood), i adored stefan and caroline as friends but never enjoyed their dynamic romantically please don't hate me, so the joke was on me because i lost on every single one of these? 😂 though i should note i also mostly quit tvd once elena left and have never entirely watched those last couple of seasons, so i'm sure there are vital aspects i didn't see with how they developed that.

i miss both shows terribly though, i often toy with the idea of a rewatch!

Hope takes Ryan to New Orleans to meet the family. Ryan has pestered Hope on how to impress her family and he has practiced. Fingers crossed it doesn't go horribly wrong.

Hello,

So I'm not 100% sure what you meant for this... the fic I have going, or Vixen & the Fox universe, or just a one shot, so I decided on just a one shot and I hope you enjoy! =)

Happy to Be Here...

Hayley Marshall was about two steps from Jackson when she bolted, she would never be able to say why she bolted, but everything in her rebelled at the wedding, not even the sight of their families was enough to have her staying. She had turned and ran as fast as she in her wedding dress, skirts in hand, and veil attached, she flew through the cathedral doors like a princess on a mission to escape, and it was the fastest she had ever run. She kept running too, she didn’t slow, not even when she got a taxi and booked it for JFK, and from there, bought a one way ticket to anywhere else.

She ended up sitting next to a stranger in the airport who merely raised a brow at her wedding dress attire, held in her arms from what she taken off to get through TSA. She was a sight; she knew that, and she was seriously contemplating buying one of those tourist trap shirts, unbreathable, uncomfortable leggings and slippers and stuffing this wedding gown into a trash can.

The stranger beside her was looking her over, a dubious expression obvious on his face as they looked at one another.

“What?” she finally asked as she combed her fingers through her hair.

“Nothing,” he shrugged.

“Bullshit,” she muttered as her head fell back. “You’re judging me.”

“I have no reason to.”

“I ran away from my wedding, two steps from the altar, I’m sure there’s a term for that.”

“I believe it would be OMG,” he quipped, she snorted and bit her lip as she tried to keep from laughing. She looked at him, and he had a sly smile on his lips then.

“OMG is a good one,” she mused.

“If it’s any consellation I’m on my way home after proving my girlfriend was cheating on me, with her sister’s boyfriend, I had planned to propose,” he informed her.

“Women suck,” she offered lamely and he laughed. It warmed her heart to hear him laugh.

“They can,” he mused.

“I’ll be right back, I need to stuff this dress in a trash can or something,” she muttered.

“Will you not need help getting out of it?” then he looked mortified at what he had just said.

“Most men offer to buy me dinner before taking off my clothes,” she teased.

“That was not what I meant!” he strangled out. “I’ve had two sisters, and they explained those dresses are notoriously difficult to get in and out of!”

“Shit, they are,” she muttered.

“I have a counter proposal, I will help you undo the dress, then provide a shirt which you can use as cover,” he said evenly. “You appear taller than my ex, but her leggings should work until you get to New Orleans.”

“So I’m going to New Orleans, and thanks,” she smiled tightly. It didn’t take them long before he pulled out clothes, he didn’t offer his ex’s shirt, instead he gave her one of his, and he helped her undo all the buttons and hooks. Once those were done, he handed her leggings and she ran into the women’s bathroom. Changing was easy and once that was done she went through her dress pockets; again happy she’d put her ID and debit card in there, and her phone. There were a hundred missed calls from Jackson and his family, but she turned off her phone as she walked out to the terminal again.

The man was waiting for her, he held out a hoodie for her, and she was grateful.

“Thank you,” she sighed.

“Of course, it is reassuring to know I can still be the knight in shining armor,” he mused. “I’m Elijah, Elijah Mikaelson.”

“Hayley Marshall,” she replied.

“So Hayley, what compels a girl to run on the happiest day of her life.”

“Well… we’d been having issues before, planning the wedding, and I just… I don’t know, we weren’t… in love? We’ve been together since we were children, high school sweethearts, college, careers; and our families more or less arranged it and I know he’s in love with someone else, but he wouldn’t cheat on me, but we aren’t happy. We were togetherfor our families, and it just… it really hit me how unfair it is to him and no matter what we do, I was never going to love him, and this was my last chance to get him to see that, so…”

“You ran,” he deduced.

“Yup, not as rough as your story but still, not a good move for women anywhere,” she groused as she rubbed the bridge of her nose and stared at the airport. “I bought a ticket to anywhere, and apparently thatll be New Orleans.”

“It isn’t that bad,” he promised.

“Well, gotta start over again,” she muttered. “But I think he’ll see we dodged a big bullet. Neither of us would’ve been happy in the long run, and he’s loyal enough to try to make it work until he resents me, so… I think I did the right thing.”

“You’ll find love one day,” Elijah promised softly.

She walked down the aisle to the man of her dreams, and she smiled. Wearing a dress she actually wanted to wear, walking to a man she actually wanted. As she neared the altar she knew he was a little worried, but she took his hand.

“Glad you could make it,” Elijah said softly.

“Happy to be here,” she smiled as she handed her bouquet to her new friends and felt her heart fluttering about in her chest. Today was perfect. And she was excited for this next part. He smiled, rather shy, and uncertain, and it was still refreshing, and endearing, and she wanted to kiss him now just to reassure him he was here, and so was she, and they were doing this despite how they started.

“You’re not supposed to kiss until the priest finishes blessing the vows!” Kol unhelpfully quipped.

“Shut up Kol!” Klaus ordered.

Elijah laughed, and she snickered as she looked at the priest.

okay so confession, i haven’t actually watched the originals yet (ikik im planning on it as soon as i finish tvd)

howeverrrr i liked both hayley and elijah in tvd, and so far i like the idea of them together (even though im a die-hard kalijah stan sksk)

my opinion might be skewed though because i literally love hayley so much and just want the best for her 🥺💞 my emotional support werewolf queen

Mom just got to the part where Elijah gets his memories back. I can hear it from my room. I have tears in my eyes. Would watch with her but it's too hard to watch. I will never be over what they did to Elijah and Halijah. It breaks my heart everytime.

Let me get this straight.

Hayley was a single parent for 7 years, 5 years of which she spent telling Hope that her father loved her even if he didn't show it.

She has to be a mother, an alpha and a faction leader to keep the peace and do damage control when her daughter creates a hybrid.

She then got kidnapped by some super racist vampires while under a sleeping and cloaking spell that her own daughter cast on her so that her dad would come home.

She then got tortured FOR ATLEAST 5 EPISODES and her crescent mark was ripped off her body so that Her tribrid daughter and her hybrid dad would submit to the whims of the Nazi vampire.

She then had her werewolf side binded so that she and her daughter could live. She loved her werewolf heritage and it was taken from her.

She later has to witness her daughter get knocked out. Her daughter's usually-not-helpless-Dad, her partner, become incapacitated by his OWN brother! THE MAN SHE LOVES!

SHE HAD TO WATCH THIS MAN SHE LOVES IGNORE HER AND LET HER BE KILLED BY THE NAZI VAMPIRE.

She had to watch this man ask after the nazi vampire's kid instead of his own niece, who he would have died for if he had his memories.

HIS NAME IS LITERALLY THE LAST THING SHE SAYS BEFORE SHE DECIDES TO SACRIFICE HER LIFE TO PROTECT HER DAUGHTER BY KILLING THE NAZI VAMPIRE.

The nazi didn't even die a bad death. It was clean and quick, so not what she deserved and not how most villains in this show die.

Not only were there so many loop holes but these characters have got out of worst situations in the past involving far worse villains than this! I mean Roman has that damned daylight ring, just take it and leave! And Come on Klaus! Now is the time you decide not to stake your brother! And GET STAKED IN THE BACK!

I'm not angry that they killed her. Characters die all the time in shows. It is HOW they killed her that's making me MAD. SHE WAS THE SHOWS MAIN FEMALE PROTAGONIST FOR FOUR SEASONS. SHE HAD THE MOST GROWTH OUT OF ALL THE CHARACTERS AND THIS IS HOW HER STORY ENDS.

WE ALL KNOW WHY SHE DIED! FOR KLAUS TO BECOME A TRUE FATHER, FOR ELIJAH'S GUILT(man pain) AND OBVIOUSLY FOR HOPE'S GROWTH (because finding out her mother died to save her and knowing that all this wouldn't have happened if she hadn't kidnapped her in the first place is EXACTLY the kind of growth she needs) THEY DID HER DIRTY AND THESE WRITERS TALK ABOUT HOW THEY ARE SUCH GREAT FEMINISTS.

NOT ONLY WAS THIS ONE OF THE MOST PATHETIC WRITINGS I'VE EVER WITNESSED BUT IT WAS ALSO ONE OF THE WORST WAYS TO SEND OFF A BELOVED MAIN CHARACTER...OOPS SORRY... I MEANT GUEST STAR OF S5.

Klaus opens his eyes, to a night sky full of stars...

He breathes in deeply with the realization that this is it. Wherever “this” is... is the new Always and Forever. He stands up quickly and looks around for his ever-faithful brother, but Elijah is nowhere to be found.

“I’m proud of you.” A warm and familiar voice enters from the darkness. Haley steps out from behind a tree, beaming from ear to ear. She pulls Klaus into an embrace and kisses his cheek.

“Hello, little wolf,” Klaus chuckles for a moment before her comment sinks in. “Are you really? We’ve left Hope without a mother or a father, I just wish...”

Haley can sense his spiraling. “She’ll be okay, Klaus. After all, she is the best parts of us.”

Klaus smiles painfully. He pulls Haley in for another hug and whispers in her ear, “Thank you for her. Of all the gifts I received in my many, many years of life. She is by far, the greatest.” As they pull away, Klaus once again looks around for a sign of Elijah. “Where is he?”

“Here, brother.”

Klaus turns around to see Elijah adjusting his tie, grinning. The brothers embrace, indeed thankful that there was peace waiting for them. Elijah looks over Klaus’ shoulder at his love, waiting impatiently with tears in her eyes. Klaus exchanges glances between his brother and the mother of his child and smirks. “I think I’ll give you two a moment. Pop in on Hope...”

Haley and Elijah look at each other as their breath hitches in their throats. Before Elijah can say another word, Haley runs into his arms and envelopes him in a kiss she waited far too long to give. The tears stream down her face as Elijah tenderly cups her cheek.

“I am so incredibly sorry. I will never forgive myself...”

“Stop, Elijah. There is nothing to forgive. I love you, Elijah Mikaelson, and nothing could ever stop me. Not you, not death... but you do owe me something.” Elijah’s concern fades to an understanding as he smiles and takes her hand in his, raising it to his lips. Haley laughs as he spins her out and back in, their bodies softly swaying to a melody playing in the distance.
