Marx looks out the window watching Jevil trying to catch fireflies. What a goofball he is.

“Hello..?-”

“..A bit. I’ll admit.. But it’s best for this way..” Marx get up from his seat and walk past Dimentio heading towards the living room where all the bean bags and chairs are.

……..

“MAMAAAAA!!”

Marx rushes over along with Cosmo to see Dolos and Halia scrunch up together, both of them were in fear to see what’s happening in front of them this made Marx and Cosmo's eyes widen in shock.

“NADIAAAA!!-”

Marx sees…. Sees…

“Marx?!?!? Pink Dandelion!!” Dimentio called out catching Marx's attention. “Huh?!?”

“…Maybe rest… I will get Jevil.”

“Ohh.. Uhm yeah.. You guys are free to sleep down here.”

Dimentio nods, “Thank you, and good night my friend.”

“Night..” Marx walks upstairs to see Dolos opening his bedroom dorm. Marx saw Dolos sniffing, the poor boy is crying. “Nightmare..?” Marx ask. “Mhm.. Couldn't sleep neither did Halia..”

“Want me to sing you a lullaby and sleep with you guys tonight?”

Be a good older brother, Marx…..

“M-Mhm…”

Please… you’re their guidance…..

“Halia is with you?” Marx ask again entering the room to see bunch of pillows and blankets around Halia. She was crying too. And that explains where the extra pillows are.

“Marxy!!!! You’re here!!”

..Be a good big brother and watch them when we're gone…

“Mhm..” Marx hummed picking Dolos by their tail and setting him down next to Halia. Marx fix the pillows and and wrap the blanket around him and his siblings. Marx was in the middle, Halia on his left, and Dolos on his right. Marx cleared his throat and sang, “Love, you are safe here, cradled in warmth All I have, my starlight and my pride, my joy Even now, I am watching over you..Let’s stay together, dear.. Nothing to fear, though we will part and dreams won’t last..Rest well tonight, my dearest, now rest in my arms..Listen to these words I sing, I pray you will walk towards the light and never be lost In sweet dreams for life…”

That lullaby made Halia and Dolos sleeping peacefully. Marx took off his shoes quietly and wrap his tail around them, hugging both of his little siblings closer to him. That tune was sing by their Mother. Who often send him and his little siblings asleep. Now.. She’s gone. It’s up to him.. To have that big role. Of being an older brother and Guardian. His plan starts tomorrow making the sun and moon fight. Kirby lives around these parts… Right?

Summary: Halia and Scarlet get captured by the enemy soldiers.

Warnings: Violence, gun use, fighting, a curse word used?

Halia and Scarlet were held captive, as they were beaten and bruised heavily from the attacks and stuns delivered by the enemy soldiers. The two soldiers were on a mission together and suddenly, things took an unexpected turn when they got captured.

One of the soldiers kneeled down and faced Scarlet, as she breathed heavily with her head cast down. "Looks like both Athena's would have to give us what we want."

"Don't tell them a thing, Sergeant!" Halia shouted as the soldiers pulled her hair, keeping her intact as she groaned in pain.

Scarlet didn't say anything, but faced the soldier with a glare. The soldier smirked and gripped her jaw tightly, making her face towards him. "You will tell us where the missiles are. Right?"

Scarlet eyed Halia, who was hoping that the Sergeant wouldn't reveal anything about the hidden missiles that they were looking for, but the Corporal was about to witness something unbelievable. Scarlet looked back at the soldier, softly nodding.

Halia widened her eyes, not able to process if the Sergeant really meant that. She struggled a bit but the soldier held her tight enough that she couldn't even move. The soldier smirked and got back on his feet. "Stand up."

Scarlet raised her hands and gently got up, her eyes going back to Halia, who held a shocked face. The soldier brought her towards Halia, and made her fall on her knees so they two could face each other in perspective.

"Any last words you would like to say to each, before you two die after giving the intel?" The soldier asked.

Scarlet nods, and looks back at Halia. "Corporal. I know this is a tricky situation.. but you don't need to worry about it."

"But why would you do that, Sergeant?" Halia protested.

"I had no choice! This is for you.. and for the team. I'm doing this for all of you." Scarlet panted while she spoke. "But, don't you worry, Halia. Because time is the essence."

Hearing Scarlet say that, it surprised the Corporal, that instead of making her worried, it made her smile. A smile that brought hope back in her eyes. She knew Scarlet would never do such a thing. Something was imminent, and Halia knew it.

Just then, the soldier groaned and kicked the Sergeant gently. "Come on, you had enough. Let's go."

Even after the soldier gave her the command, Scarlet didn't move and kept looking at the Corporal. Having his patience tested, the soldier growled and slapped her face with his feet, much to Halia's shock.

"Are you getting up or do I have to put a bullet in your head, you bitch?!" The soldier drew his glock out, aiming the gun towards her head. But the moment anything could be initiated, the soldier felt her snatching his glock in a second, as she aimed back towards the soldier, glaring at him with the predatory eyes. As the soldiers could show any reaction, Scarlet shot him in the body multiple times. Finding it a distraction, Halia grabbed the soldier by the arm too and pulled him down on the ground with force, as chaos ensued.

Scarlet saw a soldier drawing out his knife to stab her but she punched him strongly in the stomach, and snatched the knife from him and stabbed him through the neck, killing him as he bled to death. Other soldiers were trying to hold her back by firing bullets, that made Scarlet hide behind the crates of the factory they were in.

On the other hand, Halia drew her pocket knife and attacked a soldier by surprise, stabbing him through the neck and turning him around, slashing his chest and punching him down on the ground. She grabbed the soldier's rifle and started to fire bullets over the other enemy militia who pinned down Scarlet.

Scarlet saw a soldier passed out on the ground two crates ahead. She had to time her moves while Halia gave her cover. She ran towards the other crate before the bullets could pierce through her, as she almost reached herself to the dead body. Halia made sure that the Sergeant was safe and sound, shooting the soldiers as possible. Scarlet did one last attempt, rolling towards the dead body and grabbing the rifle, checking the reloads.

Halia realised the reloads finished, and there were no remaining. She was now pinned down, and she wasn't able to see the Sergeant anywhere. She tried to look for her but she wasn't even there. Halia closed her eyes, hoping for a miracle. But, while the soldiers were focused on firing at Halia, Scarlet got up on her legs, as she marched towards the remaining soldiers, holding the rifle in her hand. Her hair is disheveled, and face bruised, and before the soldiers could turn around and face her, she immediately shot the soldiers that were taking cover behind the crate, killing them off. Scarlet panted for air, as she tried to control her breathing. Halia peeked a little, seeing the Sergeant in composure.

Halia's eyes moved towards a soldier who was still alive, and he was slowly approaching towards the Sergeant. The Corporal tried to say something, but Scarlet doesn't even look back. She took out her pocket knife, glanced at it for a few seconds, as the soldier began to charge at her, and Scarlet immediately turned around, throwing the knife towards it's head, as he gurgled and let out a gutteral moan from the impact, killing him as he slammed on the ground.

Scarlet threw the rifle away, and marched towards Halia, helping her get up. "Sergeant, are you—"

I'm okay, Halia. Let's just get out of here. I don't want to stay a minute in this shithole, anymore."

Halia realised the Sergeant's voice was a little hoarse, as she felt a bit of worry for Scarlet. But, knowing they two were now safe and okay, they made their way out of the factory, waiting until help arrived.

So, what would Nanette think of Halia!

To begin with, Nanette thinks she's really pretty. She really likes her hairstyle! That's the kind of thoughts she'd have when first seeing her. I think she'd then get a no-nonsense vibe from her, that Halia doesn't have time for messing around. I think maybe Nanette would at first be intimidated, but as soon as she started to talk with Halia she'd realise that she was silly to feel that way.

Nanette would feel really happy that she's found someone just as friendly as she is and I'm not sure which would initiate conversation first, whether they'd both try. You ever go to walk one way to get out of someone's way, but they also go that same way? It would be like that but with conversation, because they're both happy to talk first! But, that would make Nanette feel really fond of Halia.

Nanette would also beg to see pictures of Ruby - Nanette is a huge animal person so if she ever found out about Halia's German shepherd she'd defo be like 'pics pls ;u;'.

A Small Fic

“Don’t you see, Blake? Why I don’t want Dolos and Halia’s friends to see them? You do understand, yes?” Painter was holding Dolos on his lap. Blake was next to him lying on Halia’s side. Halia was asleep snoring softly the same as her brother. Only he, Painter, and Idia are awake. “But this is wrong-” Idia fin ears went down, she felt guilty. “Tch. If their truly friends they would visit them once a week or every day.-” Painter was cut off by his younger sister, “But.. On some days they were busy!!-”

“Busy with what?! Whatever bullshit excuse they come up with?” Blake sneered. Idia frowned, “D-Don’t be mean!! They could be listening..” Idia mumbled quietly. “They’re not. They’re knocked out. They were tired of their training with Marx..” Painter sighed as he leaned back to his seat. “Look our siblings visit their ‘so-called friends’ to cheer them up or help in any situation that happens. What did they do in return? Not visit them for over a week or a month! Rude if you ask me! They didn’t visit Halia’s birthday-” Painter was again cut off by Idia. “Because Halia wasn’t here at that time..”

“Okay, but what about Dolos' birthday? It’s coming up in a few months, right? It will be heartbreaking for him if they don’t come..” Painter looks down at Dolos gently patting his head.

Idia frowned more. “Tch but at least the Fish cares about them. He’s the only exception right?”

“What ‘Fish’?” Painter lifted an eyebrow at Blake. Blake looks at Painter, “Why… what’s his name again? He’s the one with that pink puffball.. Uhh..”

“Fal! That was his name!!” Idia chimed. “Ah, yes. Him. He’s okay. I’ll allow him since he spends more time with them and doesn't *forget* anything.. So Mm.”

Blake smiled, “All right then.. Sooo agreed that only ‘Fal’ can hang out with him?”

“Yep”

“Ah..! Yeah!! He’s seem nice!! So uhh..” Idia stopped talking and just nodded her head.

The three are very loyal to the Dreamcatcher siblings and very overprotective of them. They saw how their ‘friends’ treated them. To Painter and Blake, they felt disgusted and were pissed how their ‘friends’ never kept their promises to visit them. The Dreamcatcher siblings did everything for them.. Gave them support!! Now their ‘friends’ are in some kind of party, talking to others, but never invite them or comfort them when they need the help the most?!?

One word for them: “Leave them alone!!”

Fal is the only exception since he visits them daily and comforts them in whatever need. Even when Fal forget his memory he still spends time with Dolos.

“Hey.. That all it matters.. At least I can spend more time with him.. And! And!! I can show him the new places around here!! Since the three worlds fused, he can try out many foods and places!! I’m sure he’ll love it!!”
