I have been binging your work!
I don't know if this breaks your trauma rule or not, but (with the guys of your choosing as long as Ratio is there) how would the guys react to losing reader (they haven't confessed feelings yet) during a mission and thinking they died. Then, the reader reappears a week later bandaged up, but alive. Maybe spouts their confession first? ËÍá”ËÍ
I adore your writing. Thank you!
This is way too fucking long, so be warned. Itâs like I rammed 4 mini stories in one but got lost at some point cuz I left this ask to collect dust. Also thanks for enjoying my writing itâs much appreciated. :) đŠŠđżïž
Sunday:
The moment he got news that youâve been assumed dead in the aftermath of a dangerous mission, he looses composure really quickly.
Loosing Robin was one thing but loosing you on top of that was the straw that broke the camels back.
He originally doesnât believe that you were gone, he refuses to as he practically tears his office to shreds in a fit of anger and grief before forcing himself to regain composure and clean up after his outburst. He needed to in order to keep up the illusion that he was the levelheaded leader The Family needed in these moments of chaos and mistrust.
Even if he himself was breaking down internally alongside everyone else, hellbent on finding the culprit for your death and punishing them so severely that theyâd beg for death. Heâd avenge you in anyway he could, even if it meant sending out the bloodhound family on a wild goose chase that only ends in dead ends, he would get you justice no matter how it may come.
His heart had died alongside you that day.
So when a week passes and he finally has you back in his arms, all the while being carful with your wounds as his eyes searched you over in a way you werenât use to.
âYouâre alive.â He breathes out in relief as he then begins to laugh and rest his head against yours, breathing you in deeply as he relishes in this long awaited moment. âOf course youâre alive.â He mutters.
âSunday,â you began but Sunday was quite to cut you off.
âDo you know how I felt thinking you were dead? Driving myself insane to prove that you were still alive anyway I could as not to bear the idea of walking through this life without the one person I love so dearly.â Sunday takes a brief pauses in his monologue, feeling out of breath after having put everything out into the open before continuing. âI thought my heart had stopped beating that day and now I have you bad in my arms.â Sunday then chuckles darkly as he gripped you tighter. âIâll ensure that Iâd never have to revisit that part of my life ever again.â
âSunday-â
âShhh.â Sunday cuts you off once more, pressing a kiss to your forehead as he holds you close to his chest, rubbing your back soothingly. âJust know that what I do after this, I do out of my love for you.â He says against your forehead before pressing another kiss there for good measure.
Jing yuan:
Loss wasnât new to Jing Yuan.
He has experienced it in multiple forms throughout his life, but that didnât made the news of your death any less painful for the General.
While his mind mightâve made peace with the fact that you were gone, his heart however did not as he would find himself in the places that you often vacated to in moments of stress, or to just be left alone for a while with your thoughts. So to no longer see you in any of those hidden spots -waiting for him to find you like you usually did- only worsened the grief he felt in his heart as he sat himself down and allowed the memories to pass over him in waves.
You were both so happy together and felt a sense of fulfilment that could only be achieved when you were within the otherâs presence; A feeling that was uniquely yours and yours alone that could never be replicated, ever. For no one could ever come close to replacing you, nor the companionship you and he had for each other that many assumed would blossom into something more; Jing Yuan also shared the same sentiments as they did, but just as he built the courage to push that boundary between the two of you, you were taken from him before he could utter a single word.
So when a week passes and Jing Yuan found your battered and beaten form in one of your secret spots, back resting against a tree with your eyes closed.
âY/n?â He called out and your eyes opened upon hearing his voice and looking at him with a weak smile. âHey General, miss me?â You said as you struggled to get up to your feet, only to stumble forward and into Jing Yuanâs chest as his strong yet gentle hands hold you in place.
âMore than you could ever hope to know.â Jing yuan said as he focused on how you felt beneath his hands, warm and alive.
âIâm sorry I kept you waiting.â You muttered against his chest as his warmth made you realised just how tired you were from everything youâve experienced this last week alone. âI never meant to keep you waiting in fear that youâd forget about me if I donât stay in your life long enough.â You admit and Jing Yuan instinctively presses a soft kiss to the top of your head, holding you protectively.
âI could never forget about you my beloved.â Jing Yuan reassured you as he looked you deep into your eyes. âYouâve managed to carve your place within my heart and soul, so much that there isnât a day where you arenât all I think about, regardless of whether or not your by my side or far away.â He finished by pressing a gentle kiss to the gauze on your cheek, chuckling upon seeing your cute attempts of burrowing your face into his chest.
âHow long have youâve been waiting to say this.â You asked, thankful that he was the one to admit his feelings first, as you wouldâve had a hard time articulating your words as fluidly as he could.
âFor a very long time.â Jing Yuan replied with a small smile as he then proceeded to lift you into his arms, cuasing you to squeal in surprise, as he made sure to be carful of your wounds and began walking to the nearest medics to make sure your wounds werenât going to be trouble later on.
Aventurine:
He didnât know what to think when you were pronounced dead, all Aventurine could feel in that moment was an overwhelming numbness that encased him entirely.
The only light left in his life had been snuffed out, plummeting him into utter and total darkness he had once been well acquainted with until you came along, giving him a reason to keep looking forward despite everything.
You were no longer here to hold onto his left hand before he could even think of hiding it behind his back out of habit, you were no longer here to be his reason, his comfort, his safe place. You were taken away from him unfairly and once again Aventurine found himself asking the same question he has been asking himself for a long time; why everyone was born into this life just to die.
So when a week passes and Aventurine finds himself sat on a bench somewhere, still not dealing well then than he was the week of your assumed passing, lost in his own thoughts when someone took a seat next to him. Aventurine was just about ready to tell them to go away, when he saw just who was sitting next to him; you.
âI know, I look like shit but you donât have to look at me like that.â You spoke upon feeling his eyes gaze upon the gauze on your cheek, then towards the array of bandages that littered the rest of your body.
âI thought you died.â He hissed, emotion was heavy in his voice as his eyes became bleary with unshed tears as he felt his breathing become heavy with the reality that you were alive. He didnât know what was real and what wasnât in that moment as his mind raced. And it wasnât until you reached out to grasp his left hand and intertwine your fingers together, squeezing, did everything finally became clear to him.
âI thought I was too at one point but there was something that kept me from journeying over to the afterlife.â You admit, looking over at him and smiling sweetly, wanting nothing then to calm his thoughts and reassure him that this wasnât a dream.
âAnd what was that?â He laughs humourlessly as he stares back at you, wanting to hear what excuses you could come up with for faking being dead for a week. âWillpower? Determination?â
âYou Kakavasha.â You replied straightforwardly and his breath hitched in his throat. You rarely used his actual name unless it was absolutely serious. âYou were all I thought about as I pushed through my injuries.â You told him as you continued. âKakavasha is waiting for me was just about all I could think about for a week straight.â You finished as though you didnât just confess that he was your soul motivator in staying alive.
âReally?â Aventurine said softly, finding it impossible that he could possibly be your reason for anything. âWhy?â
âYes really.â You chuckled, pressing a kiss to his cheek as you rested your head against his shoulder. âAs for why, itâs because I like you more then did let myself admit, but i just wanted you to know incase anything truly bad were to ever happen to me-â
âNo.â Aventurine cut you off suddenly, squeezing your hand as though he were afraid. âNothing is going to happen to you, not now. not ever. I just got you back.â He adds resting his head against your own in a desperate attempt of feeling more of your against him. âJust stay with meâŠplease.â He begs you in a whisper as he nuzzled further into you. âand donât go anywhere I canât follow. I donât think I can bear the thought of loosing you again.â
You smiled softly as you just whispered back against the skin of his neck. âAs long as you donât go anywhere I canât follow. I like my crush to be alive and close by even if he can be a pain in my ass sometimes.â
Aventurine chuckles, his heart becoming whole again as he made you cuddle into his side, kissing your head once more as you took this moment to familiarise yourselves with each other. âAt least Iâm a pleasurable pain in the ass.â He teased and you pinch his side, causing him to flinch, but his smile remained and this time his smile was genuine.
His light has came home.
Ratio:
Fully believed that heâd see you when the mission ended, knowing just how talented and dedicated to the craft you were, and having faith that this would be a measly walk in a park for you.
Only to receive word that you were one of the many who were assumed dead when you werenât found amongst the living nor the dead.
Veritas tries to remain as levelheaded and logical as possible during this time and continue life as normal. However found himself retracting from everyone else and going none contact, more so specifically with the people you were once associated with, and instead focused heavily on his studies and academics to an unhealthy extent.
A week passes and Veritas feels as though heâs seen a ghost the moment he saw you in his peripheral vision, bandaged and dressed in ripped clothing but still somehow finding it in you to smile.
âYou idiotic Buffon!â He exclaims as he walks towards you.
âWell thatâs a nice way to greet someone you care about.â You replied as you readied yourself for a massive rant about how stupid you were and so on, but instead you were held against his chest as he burrows his head into your neck.
âI thought you died.â He says in a whisper as he breathed you in. This went against all logic but in that rare moment Veritas didnât care, you were alive but he still couldnât let go of the fact that you didnât tell anyone you were still alive. âWhy didnât you tell anyone that you were alive, send a signal, anything.â
You shrugged as you made yourself comfortable in his strong arms. âAll communications were badly damaged or completely cut off.â You told him. âI was on my own for a long while before finding my way back to you.â
âMe?â Veritas asked, pulling away from you. âWhy not a medial facility for a proper treatment of your wounds? Have you hit your head so hard that common sense had been left on the back burner when making that decision?â
âI wanted to see you first you dickhead!â You exclaimed, shutting Veritas up rather quickly with your confession but you didnât care. âis it so wrong of me to let the man I love know that Iâm okay? So go ahead and call me an idiot all you like but that wonât change the fact that I felt more fear about not telling you how I truly feel then dying on some stupid mission.â You finished your rant.
âYouâre insufferable.â Veritas said after a moment of silence and you couldnât help but feel a little annoyed at this that you didnât notice that Veritas has began to close in the distance between the two of you.
You scoffed. âOh sure call me insufferable as if you-â Veritas cuts you off by cupping your cheeks and planting a sweet short lived kiss against your lips before pulling away with a smirk.
âGlad to know that the feelings are reciprocated.â He says, taking enjoyment of rendering you speechless as he gently guided you to medical, and remaining by your side for the remainder of the day.

Disaster in Penacony
Pairings: Various Honkai Star Rail Men x Isekai'd!Reader
Summary: You and the Astral Crew (minus Nanook) go to Penacony! Things end up not going well on your end and a mysterious blond man (who works for the IPC) oh so generously offers you his hotel room! Little did you know, you won't have the best experience in Penacony as a newcomer.
Note: I haven't played HSR's story quests in a long time (I'm still in Penacony), so this fic is most likely awful. I will not continue writing any HSR fanfics until I am fully caught up with the game itself. Newer fics will be shorter since it's been a little over a year since I have written or posted any fanficsâ baby steps. Anyway! I don't post anywhere else but on Tumblr (Genshinluvr) and on AO3 (Aaliah_exo).
Warnings: I'm not caught up with HSR, so this fic is most likely ass. Possible mischaracterization of the newer characters đ
Word Count: 5.2k
You cling tightly to Marchâs arms as you and the rest of the Astral Express crew enter The Reverie in Penacony. While the hotel is beautiful, the multiple stories make you feel nauseous. You did not know that the hotel has so many floors. Some areas of the hotel donât have any railingâ or at least one high enough to prevent people from falling.
âAre you alright? You donât look too good, [Y/N],â March says, walking farther into The Reverie Hotel.
You shake your head, shutting your eyes tightly. Youâre not enjoying the fact that youâre somewhere really high up. March sighs sympathetically, rubbing your back as she guides you to where the others are standing. Mr. Yang and Himeko are talking to the lobby manager to check everyone in the hotel and make sure the information provided is correct.Â
March pats your back, â[Y/N], look! Weâre safe away from the edge! There is a stable ground, and everyone is safe and sound!âÂ
You peek from Marchâs shoulder, eyeing your surroundings warily. Dan Heng and Caelus walk over to you and March, looking at you worriedly. You didnât stop clinging to Marchâs arm since arriving at the hotel lobby, refusing to let go of her arms. While you can cling to Dan Heng or Caelus, you opted for March because she was the closest person to you when the Astral Express arrived at Penacony. March guides you over to an empty chair in the hotel lobby and sits you down.
Dan Heng and Caelus stand before you, making sure to shield your view of the precarious drop of The Reverie Hotel. After what feels like forever, you finally release Marchâs arm and bury your face into your knees. Caelus sighs, patting your head while you try to collect yourself. Youâre not a fan of heights, not even a bit. Sure, you go on rollercoaster rides from time to time, but this is different.Â
While drowning in fear and misery, you hear footsteps approaching over to where you, March, Dan Heng, and Caelus are standing and sitting. You peek from your knees and stare at the ground, seeing familiar pairs of shoes come into your line of sight.
Mr. Yang sighs, âHow is [Y/N] doing?â he asks.
âIt's the same as before. They refuse to look up and have been attached by the hip with March since our arrival at The Reverie Hotel,â Caelus replies. âItâs a miracle March can drag them to this spot without them dying on the spot.â
Himeko giggles, walks over to where youâre sitting, and kneels before you, rubbing the back of your head. âYou poor thing. Do you think youâll be able to go to our hotel room once we have officially checked into the hotel?â
You peek up at Himeko, nodding. âYeah! I can try! But I canât promise anything, Himeko. Why does this hotel have so many floors?â You whisper.
Before Himeko can say anything, Dennis, the hotel lobby manager, approaches your group with a sheet of paper in his hand. âMr. Welt Yang and Miss Himeko?â Dennis asks, adjusting the glasses on the bridge of his nose.
Everyone looks at each other, confused and worried, before Himeko and Mr. Yang walk over to the lobby manager. After giving yourself an internal pep talk, you let out a long sigh before standing up. March gasps softly, covering her mouth with her hand as she watches you. Dan Heng rolls his eyes at Marchâs reaction while Caelus shakes his head, chuckling under his breath.
âWhatâs with the reaction, March?â Caelus asks, lightly tapping March upside her head.Â
March grumbles and glares at Caelus while rubbing the back of her head. âHey! Watch the hair! Youâre so annoying, Caelus!â March stands up and brushes the dust off her clothes. âHow are you feeling, [Y/N]? Still as anxious as ever?âÂ
You close your eyes and take a deep breath. Thereâs no use in freaking out over heightsâ you and everyone else are already at the hotel lobby, and everyone is going to their rooms soon. Once you arrive at your room, you should be fine and dandy! Then, you can shower and nap before being dragged who knows where.Â
You smile at March, though it ends up being a grimace, âIâm okay for now, March. I just wish that Nanook was here with us.â
While everyone on the Astral Express is currently at Penacony, Nanook, unfortunately, cannot join you and the rest of the Astral crew. Why? Nanook said something about having to deal with an unspecified situation and didnât want you to get involved. Youâre grateful that Nanook didnât want you to get involved, but youâre disappointed heâs missing out on being at an interesting place like Penacony. However, what Nanookâs definitely not missing out on was this damn hotel because why the hell does it have so many stories?
âItâs okay! Sometimes, you and Nanook need to be away from each other! Itâs good for couples to take a break from seeing each other if they spend waaaaay too much time together!â March says, patting your back.
Dan Heng coughs and clears his throat. âTheyâre not dating, March. Just because they spend time together does not mean something is going on between them.â Dan Heng looks mildly miffedâ almost like he wants to smack March for saying that out loud.
March raises her eyebrows at Dan Heng. âOh, really? Then how come I heard themââÂ
âMarch!!â You screech, lunging towards the girl and covering her mouth with both your hands while she struggles against your grasp. You smile at Dan Heng and Caelus awkwardly. You squeeze your eyes shut when you feel March lick your hand, trying to get you to release her. But you continue to cover her mouth while Dan Heng sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose while Caelus stares at you two in horror.
âPlease behave in public, you two. Other guests of The Reverie Hotel are staring at us,â Dan Heng mutters, looking around the hotel as if he doesnât know you and March.
You grunt and release March from your grasp after she elbows you in the gut. You wipe your hand on your pants and glare at March, who sticks her tongue out at you with a shit-eating grin. You grumble to yourself before looking over at Mr. Yang and Himeko. Himeko gestures for your group to walk over, but the look on her face makes you not want to go over there.
March leans over to you, âAre we in trouble?â She whispers.
You shrug and approach Himeko anyway, with Dan Heng, Caelus, and March following close behind. As you approach where Himeko, Dennis, the lobby manager, and Mr. Yang, you realize theyâre in an almost heated discussion. Mr. Yang looks unhappy, almost stressed. You and the trio behind you trade glances with each other.
Dan Heng clears his throat, grabbing their attention, âIs there a problem?â
Dennis laughs nervously, rubbing the back of his neck. âYes and no, but Iâll leave that to Mr. Yang and Miss Himeko to answer your questions,â Dennis says, taking a step back and gesturing to Mr. Yang and Himeko.
Everyone looks at Mr. Yang and Himeko anxiously. Caelus and March look at one another, knowing whatâs about to come. It happened the first time they went to Penacony, and itâs most likely happening again, but this time, you and Dan Heng are present.Â
Mr. Yang sighs, pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose. Himeko places a hand on Mr. Yangâs shoulders and smiles at him as if sheâs telling him that sheâs going to be the one to tell you, March, Dan Heng, and Caelus what has happened. Although Mr. Yang is grateful for Himeko's wanting to explain the situation, he rejects the offer and gives the four of you a rundown of the situation.
Apparently, your information did not register in The Reverie Hotelâs systemâ like how it happened with Caelus in the past when they went to Penacony the first time. Itâs strange how the same situation is being repeated, but this time, itâs happening to you.Â
Dan Heng furrows his eyebrows, crosses his arms over his chest, and looks at Dennis. âIs it possible to book [Y/N] a spare hotel room in The Reverie Hotel?â
âNo, it wonât be possible because all of the hotel rooms are completely booked,â Dennis replies, fumbling with his hands anxiously. âI apologize, but I have thoroughly checked the hotelâs system for Mx. [Y/N]âs information, and I cannot find anything in the system.â
You press your lips into a thin line before sighing in defeat. Perhaps this is your sign to return to the Astral Express. After all, youâre not fond of the design of the hotel. Itâs beautiful, but the precarious heights make you feel queasy, and you donât know how much longer you can stay in the lobby without spiraling. Plus, you miss your cabin and Nanook.Â
You smile at Dennis and wave him off, âOh, donât feel bad! This is probably a sign for me to return to the Astral Express while everyone else stays and enjoys Penacony!â Youâre getting ready to walk away from the group, but Caelus places both hands on your shoulders and drags you back to where youâre standing.
âIâm sure we can work something out,â Mr. Yang says, nodding.
You nearly deflate at his response. Itâs not like you didnât want to stay in Penacony and enjoy a new environment! You donât want to stay in The Reverie Hotel. You pucker your lips and nod, letting the group figure out another way to let you stay at the hotel. You sit on the arm rest of the couch in the lobby, staring at the red carpet of the hotel, zoning out.
A laugh captures your attention, making you look up to see a blond man approach you. He looks dazzling, almost luxurious. He takes his sunglasses off and lets them hang from his shirt. The blond man stops before your group, crossing his arms across his chest, and gazes at everyone with mirth.Â
âAh, so weâre having the same issues as last time, I see,â the blond man chuckles, shaking his head. âMy, my, who do I have to give my room to this time?â He strokes his chin as his magenta and cyan eyes scan the group.
You freeze in your spot when you two lock eyes. For a split second, the blond manâs expression quickly changes before returning to the typical smugness he displayed earlier. Before he can say anything, a man and woman stand beside him. The new guests (?) have wings for ears⊠do they have ears? You slowly tilt to the side, trying to see if they have ears, but the man with grayish-blue hair narrows his eyes at you.
âAventurine, Sunday, and Robin. What a pleasant surprise to see you three again!â Himeko says, smiling at the trio.Â
Caelus leans to Dan Heng and March, âIs it really a pleasant surprise to see them? I mean, Robin, itâs good to see her again, but the other two?â Caelus mutters.
The blond man (Aventurine?) strides toward the nervous lobby manager, pulling him over to the desk while the grayish-blue-haired man and periwinkle-haired girl remain with your group. You canât help but get this unsettling feeling in your gut. You squirm in your spot before getting up from the armrest and waddling over to where Mr. Yang is standing.
âWhatâs the matter?â Mr. Yang murmurs as you stand behind him and Himeko.
You shake your head, grabbing onto the back of his coat and looping your arm around Himekoâs arm. The man and woman stare at youâ one being out of curiosity and the other being unreadable. The longer the grayish-blue-haired man stares at you, the more the unsettling feeling creeps over you. You canât put your finger on it, but thereâs something off about him. Other than the fact that heâs incredibly attractive, the angel wings for ears (does he have ears?) give him an illusion in a wayâ If that makes sense.
The periwinkle-haired girl approaches you, Mr. Yang, and Himeko. The gentle smile of hers puts you at ease, but the feeling is short lived when the grayish-blue-haired man stands beside her. The girl peeks from between Himeko and Mr. Yang, waving at you with the same sweet and gentle smile. Aeons, you canât help but feel like a child meeting strangers for the first time.
âHello! Iâm Robin, and this,â she gestures to the stoic man beside her, âis Sunday, my brother! I see that youâre new to Penacony!â Robin looks ecstatic.
You nervously smile at Robin, debating whether you should come out from behind Mr. Yang and Himeko. âHello, Robin and Sunday! Itâs nice to meet you both! Please excuse me for my strange behavior. As you said earlier, I am new to Penacony and feeling overwhelmed.â
Robinâs eyes widen, giving you a sympathetic look. âAre you alright? I understand this is a new environment for you and all, but are you alright?â She takes a step closer.
The scary yet beautiful man beside Robinâ his name is Sunday, holds his arm out in front of his sister, stopping her in her tracks. Robin looks at Sunday curiously as he continues to stare you down, almost as if heâs trying to read every part of you. From your facial expression to your body languageâ heck, maybe heâs trying to read your mind, too! Wait, can Sunday read your mind? He canât, right?
Robin clears her throat, trying to grab Sundayâs attention. âIs there something wrong?â
Sunday lowers his arm and glances at Robin from the corner of his eyes before flashing a calm smile in your direction. The smile didnât reach his eyes, and you canât help but feel that he doesnât necessarily like you. Maybe itâs all in your head, but who knows? âThereâs no issue, dear sister. Although, I do not want you to startle our new guest here. They look overwhelmed,â Sunday says, crossing his arms over his chest.
Robin gives you another sympathetic smile before watching you get whisked away by Dan Heng and Caelus. While the trio (March, Caelus, and Dan Heng) are keeping you distracted from your fear of heights and the two good looking siblings, Mr. Yang and Himeko talk to Aventurine and Dennis a little longer. Robin and Sunday keep to themselves, occasionally talking with one another while not-so-subtly looking in your direction.Â
After thirty minutes, Aventurine struts towards your group with a smug smile. âDue to a system error, I have decided to give you my hotel room,â Aventurine says, propping his hands on his hips while looking at you with his magenta-cyan eyes. âCome, come! Iâll show you where the room is!â Aventurine turns around and starts walking, gesturing for you to follow him.Â
Aventurine graciously gives you a short tour around The Reverie Hotel. Itâs beautiful, and youâre relieved that you didnât have to be in an area where youâre very aware of the number of stories the hotel has. Walking past the VIP lounge, you canât help but feel out of place, but you ignore the feeling and continue to follow after Aventurine with the others.
Needless to say, the hotel room is something you didnât expect. Thereâs no bed, and there are more couches than beds. There is a seashell-looking bathtubâwhat is that, really? Itâs filled with blue liquid, and bubbles are floating to the top. You turn to Aventurine, confused as hell. Aventurine chuckles and starts to explain everything to you and how things work in Penacony. Aside from the seashell bed bathtub thing, thereâs no bathroom.
ââ Does that make sense, Mx. [Y/N]?â Aventurine asks, snapping you out of your thoughts.
You blink and clear your throat, nodding. âYes, Mr. Aventurine.â
Aventurine smiles, shaking his head. âThereâs no need to call me Mr. Aventurine. Mx. [Y/N]. Aventurine is just fine. We are friends, correct?â He raises his eyebrows at you, the corner of his lips curving into a tiny smirk.
âIf thatâs the case, then thereâs no need for you to call me Mx. [Y/N], Aventurine.â
Aventurine throws his head back, laughing. Your face warms the more he laughs and pats your shoulder. Dan Heng, March, and Caelus look at Aventurine with an indescribable look. They look like theyâre judging the blond man. Whatâs his job occupation again? Heâs part of the IPC, correct? Should you even trust Aventurine..?
âNow, if youâll excuse me, I have some business to tend to. [Y/N], I hope you enjoy your stay at The Reverie Hotel and look forward to seeing you in the Dreamscape.â Aventurine winks at you before exiting the hotel room.
The Dreamscape, huh? One by one, each person leaves your room, leaving you alone with your thoughts. You sit at the edge of the tub (what is that thing, though? Itâs not a bed, thatâs for sure) and stare at the glowing blue liquid. So, this thing is supposed to transport you to Dreamscape? It wonât hurt to try it out, right?
You dip your feet into the glowing tub before slowly submerging yourself. You close your eyes and take a deep breath, trying to soothe your racing thoughts and heart. You slowly lose consciousness, drifting off to Dreamscape.
âËâșâ§ââœâŻâŸââ§âșËâ
âWeâve been here for who knows how long, and there are still no signs of [Y/N]. Are you sure theyâre in Dreamscape?â March demands, crossing her arms over her chest. âTheyâre not picking up my phone calls or text messages!â
Himeko places her hand on Marchâs shoulders, âIâm sure [Y/N] is in Dreamscape. After all, itâs quite large, and [Y/N] is probably exploring around.â
Before March can respond, she sees Welt, Dan Heng, and Caelus approach her and Himeko with new guests. March does a double-take and points at the new guests. Since when did someone contact these men? Unfortunately for you, Nanook isnât with the group. âPoor [Y/N]... theyâre going to be so disappointed that Nanook isnât in Dreamscape with us. Can Aeons enter the Dreamscape?â
âWhy did you bring an army of men to search for [Y/N]?â March huffs, crossing her arms over her chest.
Jing Yuan chuckles, shaking his head. âItâs good to see you again, March 7th. We were informed about [Y/N]âs sudden disappearance. How can we sit by and do nothing?â Jing Yuan asks, crossing his arms over his chest, raising an eyebrow at the pink-haired girl.Â
The bustling city of Golden Hour is loud enough to deafen anyone who speaks. So, to be able to hear each other, Welt suggests going elsewhere to speak on the situation. Blade grumbles and glares at the person who bumps into him. The person stumbles out an apology before scurrying away.
Gepard clears his throat. âI can see why the assumption of [Y/N] getting lost is possible. Penacony is huge and lively.â
âHey, this may sound like a craaaaazy concept, but why not stop by their hotel room at The Reverie Hotel before, I donât know, check Dreamscape?â Sampo asks, brushing his fringe away from his eyes.Â
Blade rolls his eyes, kicking over the advertisement sign. It flops over before scurrying around the group. Blade pulls out his sword, getting ready to hit the scurrying sign, but Luocha chuckles and stops him before he can pull his sword out. The sign continues to hop and mock Blade before running back to where it was previously.
Luocha hums, brushing his hair off his shoulders, and scans the lively environment. âPenacony is a strange yet interesting place. Perhaps [Y/N] got distracted by the things Penacony has to offer and ended up getting lost. Iâm sure theyâre fine.â
The large group continues to scour the area of Golden Hour, searching for the one important missing person who is not from their universe. The Penaconians and tourists from all over the galaxy walk past the group, muttering to themselves as they weave through Himeko and the others. Everyone is too immersed in Golden Hour to notice the distress the group is showing. Where in the world are you?
After searching high and low for your whereabouts, everybody is back at square one. Blade sighs and pinches the bridge of his nose, wanting nothing more than to leave Penacony and its festive environment. Cars race by, and people are laughing and enjoying the Dreamscape. The environment can be overwhelming for newcomers. Perhaps you feel that way about Penacony and leave the Dreamscape without notifying the others about it.
âHow are we sure that [Y/N] is still in the Dreamscape? Perhaps they never step foot in Golden Hour. Have you guys thought about that?â Blade asks, raising his eyebrows at the Astral Express crew.
âHuh, that could be a possibilityâŠâ Luka murmurs, stroking his chin. âHow can we be sure if [Y/N] entered the Dreamscape?â
March groans loudly, running her hands through her hair, tempted to yank at the roots. âWe canât just keep standing here wondering where they are. We need to look everywhere for them because who knows what could have happened to them if we donât search every nook and cranny!â March stomps her feet.Â
Welt places a comforting hand on Marchâs shoulder, giving them a light squeeze. âDonât worry, March. We will find them in no time.â
March sniffles, hugging herself. âHow can I not worry about them? There are weird people here, and we canât trust Sunday or Aventurine to find [Y/N] because theyâre weirdos with weird intentions,â March grumbles, wiping the stray tear away.
Himeko walks over to March and pulls her into a hug. March buries her face in Himekoâs shoulders and hugs Himeko tightly. Everyone stands in silence, listening to the live chatter and cars driving in the background. Itâs best for everyone to take a break from the search to clear their minds, or else they wonât be able to focus on the search.
Welt is sure that youâre safe somewhere in Penacony. The main issue is finding your exact location, and there is no way to reach out to you or pinpoint your exact location. Wherever you are in Penacony, everyone is determined to find you and bring you back to The Reverie Hotel before anything or anyone can get to you.
âËâșâ§ââœâŻâŸââ§âșËâ
You peek from the cement planter, staring at the monsters in horror. They perk up and look in your direction, only to see nothing of the sort. You hug your knees to your chest, slowly peeking from the corner. When you arrive in Dreamscape, you are greeted with monsters. It wasnât pleasant in the slightest, and you ran for your life. Of course, because this is your first time in Penacony, you donât know where you are going, and this is where you end upâ hiding behind cement planters, praying for someone to save your ass.Â
You reach into your pocket to call for someone, only to come to the realization that it most definitely fell out of your pocket as youâre running for your life. You hear a shout and something falling to the ground. You peek from the corner once again to see a tall man with brown hair kicking the absolute shit out of the mechanical soda dog and other creatures you cannot identify.Â
âGoddamn, who is that fine ass man?â You gasp, covering your mouth.
The man adjusts his tie and rubs the back of his neck before yawning into his hands. His right arm is littered with scars, one of the buttons of his shirt looks like it can snap off at any second, and he has bags underneath his eyes. The mysterious man sighs, walking in your direction. You slowly stand up, checking your surroundings for possible monsters lurking nearby.Â
âWhat are you doing out here alone? Itâs not safe here,â The man says, crossing his arms over his chest.
You clear your throat. âI, uh, woke up here, actually! The last thing I remember, aside from running for my life, was going into one of those bed, bathtub pods thingy at The Reverie Hotel, and here I am.â
âHm. So, you never woke up in Golden Hour?âÂ
You shake your head, earning a sigh in response. âI would contact my friends, but I dropped my phone while running for my life. So, thereâs no way for me to contact my friends, unfortunately, and itâs most likely theyâre at Golden Hour.â
âWell, since youâre, Iâm assuming, new to Penacony, Iâll take you to Dreamjolt Hostelry. From there, I can contact your friends to come and get you.â The man says nonchalantly, gesturing to you to follow him.
You trail behind the tall beefy man, surveying your surroundings. Itâs beautiful and also really high up. Itâs probably almost as bad as The Reverie Hotel, but itâs outdoors. The man stops in his tracks and looks at you with an amused yet tired look. You stare at him like a deer caught in headlights, wondering why he stopped out of nowhere.Â
âIs there a problem?â You ask, worried he might leave you stranded wherever youâre at.Â
The man chuckles, shaking his head. âNo, no! No problems at all! However, I never got your name. My nameâs Gallagher. Iâm a security officer for the Bloodhound Family, and you are?â He raises his eyebrows at you.
Heat rushes to your cheeks, and you pretend to look at the beautiful sky. âMy nameâs [Y/N]! Itâs nice to know the name of my savior,â you say, trying to cool yourself down. At a time like this, you still manage to find someone attractive no matter how close you come to death.Â
He smirks, â[Y/N], huh? It's good to finally pin a name on that pretty face of yours. Now, follow me.â Gallagher starts walking.
You stare at his back, eyes wide. You fan yourself to get rid of the heat settling on your cheeks, but the more you try to do so, the more your face becomes warmer. Youâre okay, and youâre safeâ all thanks to the Bloodhound Familyâs security officer.Â
âËâșâ§ââœâŻâŸââ§âșËâ
Upon arriving at the Dreamjolt Hostelry, Gallagher tells you to make yourself a home, and that is what you do. You sit at the bar, nursing a drink Gallagher made for youâ nonalcoholic, of course. Gallagher steps away from the counter to make a phone call to Mr. Yang. As youâre sipping your drink, you hear a soft sigh behind you.
âMy, my. Youâre over here nursing a drink while your beloved Astral Express family is searching high and low for you.â Aventurine chuckles.
You turn around to see Aventurine, Sunday, and some violet-haired man. Sunday smiles at you, but the smile doesnât reach his eyes. You press your lips into a thin line, pushing the drink away. You want to look for Gallagher, but youâre worried that if you turn around, one of them is going to snatch you up before Gallagher can say âSoulGlad.â
The violet-haired man rolls his eyes. âIgnore this bumbling fool. Iâm here to inform you that your friendsâ The Astral Express Crewâ are on their way to your location. That Security Officer called to inform them of your whereabouts. Needless to say, theyâre relieved to hear that youâre safe and sound and have brought guests along with them.â
You smile at the violet-haired man warily, âThank you for letting me know, uhâŠâ
âVeritas Ratioâ Dr. Ratio.â Dr. Ratio bows politely.
You look at Aventurine, whoâs now standing much closer to you. You take a step back and raise your eyebrows at the blond man. Geez, just when you thought you were going to make new friends in Penacony, you ended up being wrong. These men are giving you weird vibes, but not in a good way. Itâs such a shame that theyâre so pretty. Dr. Ratio, on the other hand, is the lesser of two evils (Sunday and Aventurine).
âIf you three are thinking of putting your hands on [Y/N], I highly suggest you donât, or else youâll be dealing with something worse than the Astral Crew and their new guests,â Gallagher interjects, now standing beside you.
Sunday exhales through his nostrils, narrowing his eyes at the Security Officer. âAnd what are you implying exactly, Gallagher? Youâre going to be the one to protect them?â
Gallagher shrugs. âI saved and protected them from harm earlier. What makes you think I canât do it again? Oh, and I wasnât implying myself,â Gallagher chuckles.
âWhat are youââ
A deep voice interrupts Aventurine. âWHERE ARE THEY?â
Your heart jumps into your throat, and you peek over Aventurine, Dr. Ratio, and Sundayâs shoulders to see a familiar person storming into the Dreamjolt Hostelry. Your eyes widen, and you look at Gallagher, who shrugs in response.
âNanook, what are you doing here? I thought you couldnât come to Penacony.â You squeak.Â
The Aeon of Destructionâs glare softens upon seeing you. Nanook walks toward you, pushing past the three men, and grabs you by the waist before hoisting you over his shoulders. Just when Sundayâs about to say something, Nanook glares at the man, causing him to close his mouth and glare at the Aeon of Destruction. Nanook smirks and shakes his head, walking to the entrance of Dream Hostelry. At the entrance stands the Astral Express Crew and new guests from Belobog, the Xianzhou Luofu. Wait, who is that redhead?
âI see the Aeon has made it to them before we did,â The redhead sighs.
You gesture to the redhead, confused, âWhoâs this?â You ask.
âMy nameâs Argenti. I belong to the Knights of Beauty. Itâs a pleasure to meet you, [Y/N], despite such circumstances,â Argenti bows, âItâs a relief to see you are safe and unharmed.âÂ
You awkwardly smile at Argenti, still on Nanookâs shoulder. âItâs nice to meet you, too, Argenti! Though, I wish we couldâve met differently.âÂ
âYer lucky Gallagher was able to find you. Yer friends were close to putting up missing personâs posters all over Penacony if they didnât find you by the end of the day.â A man wearing a cowboy hat chuckles, shaking his head.
âAnd you areâŠ?â You trail off, suddenly feeling drained from the introductions. How many people have you met today? Aventurine, Argenti, Dr. Ratio, Robin, Sunday, Gallagher.
The cyborg cowboy tips his hat forward, winking at you. âThe nameâs Boothill. A pleasure to be at your service, Mx. [Y/N].â
Himeko chuckles. âAlright, everyone! That is enough for today! Iâm sure all of you can introduce yourselves to [Y/N] back at The Reverie Hotel (Reality). Poor [Y/N] probably feels drained from today and needs rest, isnât that right?â Himeko looks at you.Â
Nanook shakes his head. âWe will be returning to the Astral Express, which is much safer for them. They can return to Penacony whenever, but I do not want them staying at the hotel.â Nanook states, glaring over at Aventurine, Sunday, and Dr. Ratio.Â
Before anyone can interject, Nanook walks away with you still over his shoulders. You lay limp on Nanookâs shoulders, closing your eyes. You canât wait to return to reality. Being chased by unknown creatures of Penacony sure did a number on you. You canât wait to relax and sleep on a real bed with Nanook at the Astral Express.Â
Note: Now that I got that out of the way, I am finally free!! I had this idea on my mind for a while and it was driving me crazy. I don't really like how this fic turned out, to be honest. Lowkey tempted not to post this, but I'll post it anyway since it's been a while. Next week's fic will not be Isekai'd!Reader fanfics for both Genshin and HSR. It'll be a commissioned fanfic instead, so that's going to be different. I'm going to try to post two fics a week in the future, but idk when. Anyway! To all my new and returning readers, keep in mind that I ONLY post on my Tumblr (Genshinluvr) and my AO3 (Aaliah_exo)! Nowhere else except Tumblr and AO3!
Taglist for this fic: Will not be tagging people in fics for nowâ at least for this fanfic
Read more of my works on my Masterlist / Masterlist 2 | Maybe support me by tipping me on Ko-Fi or by reblogging my fanfics! ^^ I will also be posting exclusive fanfics on Ko-Fi as well very soon! I might post all of my stories on there too, but who knows. You can also tip me on Tumblr if you'd like as a way to show support! ^^

HSR/Genshin characters as dragons
A/n: I feel like this is a bit shorter than my usual dragon posts, I apologize for that. But I also have to say (for my sake at least) that these images of dragons aren't what my finished art looks like. At best I'd call them colored sketches, so please - if you're interested in my finished works, check out my instagram as I have way more concrete examples of my art! <3 Thank you. And if anyone is interested in a c0mission, you can feel free to check the carrd link in bio! They are still open!
Contents: Jing Yuan, Capitano and Aventurine as dragons, x reader, gn reader, tinge of angst, headcanons
Jing Yuan:
-Jing Yuan, although looking really fluffy and soft as he does, is a formidable warrior. He didnât get to be a General for nothing at all
-His fur does hide a lot away and it does give him a rather gentle appearance, making him a bit easier to approach than your regular dragon. His species specifically wasnât made for war but rather for more endurance and some more milder things, but Jing Yuan excels in all aspects of his kind and has proven himself worthy of his station during the wars and during more diplomatic events.
-It goes without saying, but this guy is cunning, he has his brains about himself and knows how to play an opponent where necessary, although he does prefer more honorable approaches and would never do anything purely âevilâ
-Some wonder how he hasnât turned brown from how much he loves to bask in the sun in his dragon form. And oftentimes it has happened when someone went to check on him and he was just knocked out in a nap coma, not laying in any shade, just all sun. If he was in his human form he would have been burnt to a crisp
-But thereâs something about Jing Yuanâs dragon form that is rather comforting, to both you and honestly anyone else. Everyone knows stories of old kings and leaders of planets and countries that are described as these powerful and frightening individuals that hid their softness for special people in their hearts. Jing Yuan, although powerful, does not evoke fear in his people like those kings from the stories do. His presence does command respect, yes, but people can approach him and talk to him just fine, without any unwarranted fear that heâd reprimand them or punish them for saying anything he may dislike.
-He has a lot of patience with people in general, and all diplomatic meetings he attends go by smoothly
-Jing Yuan doesnât shy from his dragon form at all, and at times he prefers it when the sun is not as strong, so he can soak up every single ray of sun he possibly can. He has quite the bit yard so he doesnât lack space either
-Loves to see you cuddle him. Since he is quite big, he does tend to not move much if you decide to hop onto him while heâs sleeping and cuddle him, just in case you find yourself under his claws by some chance. He doesnât want to crush you. Other times he is rather playful, gentle all throughout, as he picks you up or nudges you with his head. Once he smacked you with that big tail of his, and although it looks mad fluffy that thing does have weight to it alright.. you were knocked into the grass bro
-Older age has turned some of his coat a darker shade and some of those spots also came in later in his life. It is something he doesnât mind, he is quite fond of his spots
-He lets you do his hair or help him with his armor in dragon form. There are always those small and annoying clasps that are bothersome to put on so he entrusts them to you
-Some of the armor does hide scars from his past battles, but so does his big thick mane. Thatâs also some of the reasons why people think he doesnât do much fighting since he always looks so well put together and âcleanâ(no visible scars) both in human form and in dragon form
-He is also very clean btw, smells fresh. Chef kiss
Capitano:
-His name has only existed in rumors and legends for centuries, and he has long since become some sort of ghost tale. Some believe this dragon exists, some donât, some use the stories to scare their children with, others laugh about it..etc
-No one doubts Capitano, the strongest man alive, the first of the Fatui exists, but the question of his dragon form is another matter. Many donât even believe those are one and the same, due to the lack of all the proof that the two are correlatedÂ
-Capitano has never admitted to anything either to anyone outside of this Fatui fold, and he never truly had the need to take the form of the ice beast. He is the strongest man in Teyvat, he can do everything in this form without causing too much of a ruckus, he doesnât need a dragon to wreck more havoc and cause more of a scene yk
-Although in his battle against Mavuika⊠maybe they both let out their beastly forms yk and they just duked it out a bit until both sustained damage and that fog curtain was blown over them and they retreated
-In his dragon form he is quite cold to the touch, itâs almost like he doesnât produce much heat at all, and although his breath sometimes smokes and fogs from his nostrils, his scales are never warm.Â
-His scales are dense and thick, made for protection and endurance, but they do hinder some of his ability to be flexible
-Donât be fooled though, although he isnât the most flexible or speedy dragon around, he is a killer tank, a machine. His claws and teeth can pierce anything and everything, and that tail of his is also something to be wary off. Even if he has his back turned to you that tail seems to possess a mind of its own and lashes about to protect him if someone tries an attack from behind (side note: inspired by an iguanodon, specifically that big claw on his front legs)
-Ice powers of course, he can freeze the ground underneath him and summon ice projectiles, as if he wasnât a battle beast alreadyÂ
-This form is quite rare to see, and for a long, long time his darling didnât even know about it until that battle with Mavuika that brought it out of him
-It was nothing to scoff at or turn your head from. You were worried for him when you heard he was injured, and to know he had pushed himself into his dragon form also speaks great volumes of the intensity of the battle itself
-He doesnât see it as important even after you expressed your concerns and bafflement after having found out. He just sort of shrugs it off. No big dealÂ
-His wings look quite heavy, and they are, so he does require quite the run up to take to the skies
-In human form he does have some scales on him, so if youâre cuddled up to him at night you can feel them under your fingertips. Capitano is quite open to your touches, rather relaxed after being with you for so long and these days, your touches often lull him to sleep. He sleeps on his back and sleeps like a log. He usually has an arm around you and the scales on his chest and arms are free to be examined by you
-He is quite scarred, and Capitano is not opposed to telling you how he got which scar. His way of storytelling isnât exactly rich, itâs straight to the point but not boring
-Sometimes he leaves his tail around when he goes back to his human form, but only if he knows no one will see him, except you.Â
Aventurine:
-Although the smallest in the list today, and a smaller stature for his species in general, Aventurineâs strength lies in his head. Due to the rough past he preserved through with luck and cunning, he knows what the world is like and how it operates
-Most people base their judgment on visuals and vocal tones, so Aventurine has gained quite the rep for being flamboyant and extra. Just like he wears so many fancy layers and clothes in his human form, he adorns his dragon form in pretty pearls, gold, rings, scarves, fluff..etc. Everything to show this image of confidence and maybe a bit of cockiness and arrogance
-As the money goat of the IPC, he has to look the part too, no?
-As mentioned before, he knows what a lot of people look at and what they look for, and due to the smaller size of his dragon he is able to walk through most places in that form too, bringing more attention to himself and more opportunities too.
-Of course he has had his fair share of insults directed at him, both in human and dragon form, but he tries not to let it ever show. The dragon form does tend to ward off any truly malicious individuals though, and his status as a Stoneheart has granted him a fair share of protection as well. Not many would dare to strike a Stoneheart.
-By nature he is quite colorful, additionally Aventurine also takes great care and hygiene of his looks. I mean dude probably has his own perfume brand along some others, he smells good and does leave a lasting impression overall
-The only thing he wishes he could get rid of is that branding on his neck. It is there no matter what shape he takes and it is glaringly obvious to anyone that looks at him. He can hide his eyes, but he canât hide the red letters on his neck that the feathers or his collar fail to cover up. Even after so many years after it happened, the feathers in that spot of his neck never grew back, the tissue being far too scarred to allow any new growth.
-It is the only thing he could visibly react to when in the presence of someone else. He may huff and puff, try and jest about it before switching topics
-No matter how much he takes care of himself though, heâll never be able to wash off the blood of his skin and feathers, the blood of his people that died while he survived, then the blood of the master that abused him and kept him chained up.
-His feathers may look glossy, clean, pristine, but if it were up to him, heâd pluck them all out
-In private, if you catch him before he reverts back to his human form, he tends to not let you touch him
-He makes some excuses, that his feathers are too oily, or that they donât smell good, or that theyâre too rough and this and that, and he just goes back to his human form before you can protest against it
-If you really insist he will agree on gifting you a couple of his feathers for keepsake, your pick too. You can use it as an accessory, or maybe house decor - sell it if you want to, he doesnât mind what you do with it

Content: old headcanons, NSFW, MDNI, body worship, soft dom! Jing Yuan, female anatomy
-Anytime you cuddle in your bed with this soft man of a general, he will shed anything that weighs even an ounce too much. So that often leaves him in some thin lining of clothes, just enough to keep him warm and comfy, but even that can go further until both of you are naked and feeding off of each otherâs body warmthÂ
-For example, like right now. Two of you have barely seen each other much lately, both busy with your own journeys across the vast territory of Xianzhou Luofu. But finally he can feel your limbs intertwine. He would prop himself up onto his elbow to have more of a vantage point over you, with his other arm over your waist, slowly rubbing your soft skin with his thumbs. His eyes are so warm and full of this relaxing mirth that itâs hard to look away, it's hypnotic what this man can tell you just by looks and gazes. His loving gazes are only for you, just for you
-Then his eye catches onto a small mole on your skin and from there he brings his hand up to trace from it to the other skin mark, to the next and the next until his hands are softly massaging and rubbing all over you lovingly, his lips slowly following suit
-And you return the favor, tracing his chest and the few scars and moles he may have there. His pale skin is always such a pretty sight, especially in the dimmer lights of the swallowed sunlight. His hair even looks like beaten gold
-He doesnât stop praising you. His words are mutters and whispers, half unfinished sentences interrupted with languid kisses he leaves over your skin. Theyâre endless and countless, and if he could keep awake that long, heâd kiss you until the end of times, and bit by bit heâs climbing on top of you, his kisses are becoming more fervent, seeking to devour you
-He would hold you close, kissing the crown of your head, and then his head would dip to your neck where youâre most sensitive, teasing you by licking and sucking. He would hum something absentmindedly, every now and then with a low rumble in his throat, but you can tell he is already beginning to get riled up, and that this teasing game wonât last long.
-Soft dom Jing is a sight for sore and lustful eyes that escapes the deepest depths of your dreams. The view of him towering over you, his chest muscles right there, one could say directly in your face but he loves to kiss you too much to distance his lips from yours. He has no need for ropes, unless you'd prefer it that way - otherwise he loves the skinship that comes with your little ministrations
-If he does anything, it's taking care of you. Not letting you catch a moment to breathe properly as he makes you get lost in the carnal pleasures of the body, stimulating all the weakest spots he knew of or the ones he just found out about. He's wearing that soft smirk, his eyes half lidded and heavy with lust that forms into sultry words on his tongue. His messy hair falls across his face, framing it and you can barely even bear the sight of him between your thighs, itâs too much.Â
-His hips chase yours, bucking into you and filling you with his cock, over and over again until he's pushed out every other thought out of your head, making your pretty head fuzzy and empty, aside from the thoughts of him. Nothing else matters but this warmth now. Just you and him.
-He's leaning down and kissing your neck, nibbling the marks he left previously in the valley over your breasts and over them, sucking on a reddened nipple
-Lazy thrusts of his hips make you crazy, craving for more and more, and heâs slowing down to hear you beg for his cock.
"Is this what you imagined when you said you wanted me? By the sounds you're making for me, I can't predict any other answer, mmm.. well, I'll tell you now.. this is all I could dream off the past few nights..."
"My love, you're so good..so good for me, aren't you? Ahh, that's it, just like that. Keep moving your hips, like so...mmhhmmm..mmm..ahhh..."
"Don't resist the feeling, sweetness. This is all for you, and it's no punishment...let it go.. I'm right here, ah...with you...ghhh.."

đđđđđ (đđ
đ đđđđ) : nsfw character insert
you were on fire.
burning, burning, burning, slick-skinned and sweaty and glorious.
bodies merging with harsh, desperate hips, licked hot from teases and tastes of ecstasy, seared from inner-going-outer passionâ
wrong, you were desperate.
the both of you in a frenzy, tandem thrusts and touches and lips on (and in) places that had bones jumping, teeth parting, begging for the other; but it was a challenge. your personal little duel of who would cum first, who'd tip over the edge with a squelch or squirt or a sputter and stutter.
good god, you were competing on silk-soft, sex-sodden bedsheets, and still it was nothing short of fucking glorious.

Imagine hanging around Robin a whole lot. Like you two spend so much time ever since you went to Peanacony. Where she is, she's dragging you along.
But there's a reason why. And she thinks she knows the reason. It's pretty clear to the public that you two are best friends. But rumors spread. And they spread fast.
She doesn't mind them. She's never minded rumors throughout her career. She can't help the flutter in her heart though when the press questions her about you and asks if you two are together.
There is another factor to this rumor party. Sunday.
He doesn't like that you spend so much time around his sister. He can't help it. He's a protective older brother. But every time he comes up to you and questions your relationship with Robin, it ends up derailing into a casual conversation.
He walks away from you even more confused than he was when he went to talk to you.
Now imagine the surprise of both of them when you say you were friends with Robin because you wanted to get close to Sunday. With 0 malice in your voice you admit to wanting to be closer to Sunday.
So the two siblings have come to a consensus that they would share your attention and time. This makes the news storm even more confused when they find you spending all your time with Sunday one week and then with Robin another.
But the two can't really help it, you're just to cute not to keep around.

university!aventurine headcanons
âŸâ âč TAGS: sfw, academic rivals :)), x reader
AN: time to university-beam aventurine :) it's been a minute because i've been away for a long while on holiday... forgive me if this isn't very good.
A business kid - and an infuriatingly good one. Some students whisper that he's only here because he got nepo babied into this school by his adoptive mother, a big figure in one of the biggest multinational corporations. Not that he needed the nepotism, though, Aventurine's mind is sharp as a knife.
He could charm even the most stubborn of professors. With him, once again, the rumors fly: some say that he must have dangled the seniority of his adoptive mother over one prof's head for a grade bump. Others say he must have been taught some sort of obscure hypnosis or subliminal messaging technique.
Color coordinated stationery and an entire Apple ecosystem. Of course.
Much to the disappointment of his group project members, he has a tendency to just go MIA for extended periods of time. Leaving messages on seen but otherwise unreachable and going on his own random tangents. Regardless, he always gets the job done, so there was no point complaining.
He's not a front row keener, he would never be that desperate for the professor's attention. No, much to the annoyance of the front row-ers, he lounges in the back of the lecture hall, speaking only to remark about some flaw in their answer, and when he did he always spoke as if it were the most obvious thing - and many times it was.
What probably infuriates them more is that it all comes so naturally to him - sitting in his seat there in the back with his arm propped up on the backboard, head propped on the palm of his other hand he counters every argument with ease. Even when he seems to be slacking off, whenever heâs cold-called he knows the exact answer.
Even if he didnât, heâd still talk his way in circles until heâs gaslit you into thinking heâs right anyway.
You were a hard worker infuriated by the ease through which he made his way through the academy. It was all handed to him on a silver platter - you had to fight tooth and nail. One day you find yourself sitting beside him in the back, forced out of your front row seat by some other keener. You crane your head to try to listen to the prof's lecture but can't stand the flickering coin twisting through his hand. The way he twirls his monogrammed pen. It made your blood boil. "Can you quit doing that?" you finally snapped one day. "Am I distracting you?" He flashed you an even brighter grin that made you want to slap that smirk right off his pretty face. You scoff and open your mouth to retort, but the professor scolds you for the ruckus, calling you out specifically. When they return to their lecture you hear Aventurine hum in amusement. And so the bitter rivalry began.

rainy streets & cigarette tips
sunday x reader. sunday smokes here. this takes place some time after jade sends him off with wise words and a deal (YALL MY SUNDAY BRAINROT GETS WORSE EVERYDAY UUEEEEđ)
summary: you find sunday in a quiet alley in penacony, where heâs hiding from the chaos of the dreamscape. as the rain falls harder, sunday suggests leaving the alley for somewhere else, leading you both through the streets of penacony.
the first thing you noticed was the rain. it's wasn't the hard, dramatic kind of storm that soaked you to the bone in an instant. it was soft, steady, the kind that crept up on you until you realised your clothes were damp and the air was colder than it should've been. the neon lights reflected off the wet pavement, turning the streets into rivers of colour. penacony always felt alive, buzzing like it could shake itself apart at any moment.
you weren't sure why you ended up in that alley, but then again, you never really did when it came to finding sunday. he had a way of being exactly where you didn't expect him, but always where you needed him.
tonight, he was leaning against the wall, half-hidden in the shadows. his cigarette glowed faintly in the dim light, the ember flaring and fading like a heartbeat. the rain didn't seem to bother him. he just stood there, his shoulders relaxed, hood tucked neatly around his neck like he wasn't standing in a damp, grimy alley in the middle of the dreamscape.
"lost again?" he asked, not even looking up as you stepped closer.
"looking for you, actually," you shot back, crossing your arms.
his lips twitched, almost a smile, but not quite. "well, you found me. congratulations."
you rolled your eyes, leaning against the wall opposite him. the alley smelled like rain on hot metal, with a faint undercurrent of grease and smoke from the food stalls nearby. the faint thump of bass from a club down the street echoed through the narrow space, mixing with the sound of water dripping from the eaves.
"do you always hide out in places like this?" you asked, watching as he took another slow drag of his cigarette.
sunday shrugs, exhaling smoke that curled lazily into the air. "sometimes. better than being in the middle of all that." he gestured vaguely toward the street, where people moved in a chaotic stream under the flashing lights.
"you don't strike me as the hiding type."
"and you don't strike me as the following type," he countered, amber eyes flicking toward you.
you smirked. "maybe i'm full of surprises."
for a moment, neither of you said anything. the rain was picking up, the drops heavier now, tapping against the pavement and the metal pipes lining the alley walls. you watched as the puddle near your feet rippled with each drop, the neon lights above turning it into a kaleidoscope of colour.
"have you ever thought about leaving penacony?" you asked suddenly.
sunday's eyes narrowed slightly, his expression unreadable. he didn't answer right away, just flicked ash from his cigarette and let it fall into the puddle. "sometimes," he said finally. "but leaving doesn't mean anything if you don't know where you're going."
you tilted your head, considering that. "isn't anywhere better than here?"
"not always."
his tone was flat, but there was something in itâ something sharp, like a memory he didn't want to share. you decided not to push him. instead, you let the silence stretch out, the sound of the rain filling the space between you.
"let's go," he said, voice low but firm.
"where?"
"anywhere that's not here."
sunday grabs your wrist, and you follow him without question as he led the way out of the alley. the streets were quieter now, most people having taken shelter from the rain. the dreamscape felt different like thisâ less alive, maybe, but more open.
"do you think you'll ever stop running?" you asked as you walked, glancing down at the hand sunday wrapped around your wrist.
he glanced back at you, his expression thoughtful. "not running, not anymore. just... moving."
you nodded, the answer feeling right somehow. the two of you kept walking, the rain soaking through your clothes, but neither of you seemed to mind it. it wasn't about the destination. it never was.

May I please request a heart attack for our sleeby general?
After the first few times, Jing Yuan gave up and got a tracking app for Yanqingâs phone. He also might have sewn a few tracking chips into the boyâs clothes for good measure.
But the next time Yanqing doesnât answer his phone, Jing Yuan just goes straight to the app. So it scares him when both the app and the tracker chips say that Yanqing is in the Seat of Divine Foresight despite his repeated searches prove otherwise.
He was on the roof. The only reason he wasnât answering his phone was because there was a cat sleeping on him and cat rules. No moving or waking up the cat.
I can just imagine the panic that surges through this poor man when he can't find a singular trace of the boy anywhere. It makes him wonder if the app perhaps glitched out or if he was slowly losing it. He had checked all over the place! Even under his desk and the chairs. Hell, he even looked behind the bookshelves and pulled out the scrolls just in case. But nope, the boy is still gone.
Deciding to call for backup, multiple soldiers are now looking for him. They scour the many rooms and ask people on the streets, look around the nearby gardens, until eventually a random cleaner found the boy casually chilling on the roof. They make eye contact, and the cleaner sighs in annoyance before telling the soldiers about it, who in turn notified the general.
Now that literally everyone was standing around on the roof, Jing Yuan stands over him with an annoyed look on his face. "You couldn't have bothered picking up the phone, at least?" "No... can't move. Cat sleeping." The boy hums indifferently before closing his eyes again with a satisfied and smug smirk.
(He had nothing to smile about, however, once he realised that his allowance had been cut by about 80% the following day.)

song 15! 10:36 (beabadoobee) + dan heng (spotify wrapped event)
i know you thought it was just us, i didnât think youâd fall in love, youâre just a warm body to hold at night when iâm feeling all alone
Dan Heng knows you often have trouble sleeping.
You arenât like March 7th, who has probably the most normal sleeping habits, or the Trailblazer, who is a little paranoid in a new environment but can conk out in two seconds flat, and you certainly arenât like Dan Heng, who foregoes sleep frequently by choice. You like to sleep, but you just canât do it well.
Your first night on the Express, he heard a clatter coming from the hallway and went out to find you rummaging through the storage closet looking for an extra pillow.
He frowned. âIs yours too flat?â
Your face flushed a little, and he had the fleeting thought that you looked pretty like that.
âNo, Iâve just always had some trouble sleeping comfortably, but uhâŠ. it gets a little bit better when Iâmââ you paused and gave an awkward little cough. ââhugging something.â
Dan Heng didnât really know what to say, so he went back into the Archives and brought out his own pillow. At your protests towards accepting it, he simply replied that he wasnât going to sleep that night. âWe stop at Belobog tomorrow. Iâll get a new one there.â
Then, as he was walking back to his room, he turned his head back and cleared his throat. âAh, goodnight.â
As he glanced at his reflection in the data bank, he noted that his cheeks were a little pinker than usual.
Itâs exactly because you have trouble sleeping that heâs stuck in this predicament: lying in your bed as stiff as a board with your sleeping body clinging to him.
Earlier today, he sat beside you on a high speed airship on some obscure planet, and you held onto his arm to keep from being tossed around. He felt something hit his shoulder a few minutes later and found you fast asleep. He turned red, scowled at March when she took a photo and upon your mortified apologies when waking up had given you an offer.
âIt was the best sleep Iâve had in ages,â you told him sheepishly.
Dan Heng is a logical, coolheaded man. So there was really no excuse for when he blurted out, âI can sleep in your bed tonight if it helps.â
Now, his heart is beating a mile a minute and he swears the heat from his face has raised the room temperature by about five degrees Celsius.
And as he lies there, watching your peaceful face, he curses himself because he knows that he would put himself through this a million times just so you could be like this.
This thought comes paired with a horrible realisation. You need him in order to sleep, but he needs you in order to live. He needs you more than you need him, and he isnât sure how he feels about having that weakness.
Dan Heng breathes in and tries to calm his beating heart. He can figure this out in the morning. Right now, itâs just us.
He relaxes his muscles and allows himself to feel your warmth. He closes his eyes and holds you as he drifts off to sleep.

Hi! I hope your doing well while you read this request! May I ask for HSR Men (Jing Yuan, Blade, Dan Heng, Welt and maybe Boothill) their reaction when after 2 weeks of disappearance from their s/o because of a mission, they came back to them all exhausted and slightly injured. If I can be more precise, can you describe how they acted when they had no news of their s/o et their reaction when they came back please?
Thank you for the attention youâll give to this request ! I hope youâll have a great day/night!
-đ©”âš
This is a long one, so brace yourselves! And have a great morning/evening/night! đŠŠđżïž
Blade
âWhere have you been?â Blade hissed, anger laced his voice as he drags you to the nearest surface and eased you on it, keen to avoid worsening your wounds.
âI was on a mission.â You sassed, not wanting this to be your first conversation back from a near death experience.
âI know that,â he barks as he rummaged through the cabinets for a first aid kit, uncaring do the mess he was making in the process, âyouâve been on a mission for two fucking weeks and not once did it come to mind to keep in contact during that time?â He adds, looking at you with a look that wasnât angry but instead scared.
Blade had spent the past two weeks going utterly insane form the lack of communication on your end. At first he didnât think much but by day 12, Blade was more or less ready to included himself in your mission. Unfortunately according to Elio, this wasnât apart of the script and Blade was made to stay on the sidelines and await your return.
It wouldnât take long before you came home but you came home in the worst of conditions that Blade had ever seen you in recent memory, and that made him extremely upset. Not at you though, more or less at the person or thing that made those wounds on you.
Communications were down, I had no way of telling you anything.â You replied, having already grown annoyed at his constant pestering and prodding.
âWell you shouldâve.â Blade muttered gruffly as he gently took your arm into his hand and examined the wound and had to bite his tongue from saying anything else, but found that task to be a bit too difficult for him. âThen I couldâve stopped them from hurting you.â He added.
You groaned and punched your brow with your free hand, all you wanted to do was go to sleep but couldnât help but feel warm on the inside at the idea of Blade getting revenge on your behalf. âThatâs not necessary.â You told him, trying hard not to wince as he cleaned your wound.
âAnd why not?â He asks, noticing your attempts and wordlessly tries a different approach in cleaning your wound.
âTheyâre all dead.â You replied nonchalantly and Blade couldnât help but smile. âThatâs my partner.â He says but the smile soon falls as he finished patching your wound and looks you dead in the eyes. âHowever the next time youâre sent on a long mission Iâm coming with, no excuses.â
You groan again, there was no winning with this man.
Jing yuan was trusting in your abilities to keep yourself safe but the longer he went without update of you nor progression of the mission, Jing Yuan grew worried that something had happened.
He already lost a lot, he didnât need your loss on top of all that. He lost hope on appreciating that he was living once, he knew that if anything happened to you he would relapse into those old ways but with no chance of recovery.
He would try and fail many attempts of making contact with you, only to be met with static as a responses which didnât exactly help his hope in seeing you that slowly began to dwindle the longer he tried, until he stopped trying all together.
In his mind you were gone a long time ago and he should start his grieving while he could.
However you did come back, but not exactly in the best shapeâŠyou were wounded and exhausted but to Jing Yuan you never looked more alive in that moment as he was quick to get you medical attention. Not once did the general think to leave your leave your side as you laid out on the bed, wounds patched up and fast asleep from everything.
He even slept in the chair next to your bed, making sure your sleep went undisturbed and had a familiar face to wake up to as to not feel misplaced somewhere foreign. Jing Yuan didnât feel entirely comfortable in leaving you alone during this time, especially when youâre vulnerable and susceptible to a plethora of things.
Not when he barely avoided a possibility of never seeing you again. He didnât care for the reasons why you couldnât contact him, those can wait for another time, he only cared that you were back by his side and alive.
So heâd fall asleep with his hand laced with yours and his head resting on your lap, acting like your personal guard dog as he kept his body facing towards the door in the instant he had to protect you.
No one would take you from him again, mission or not, you were staying by his side from now on, generals orders.
Dan heng didnât think much when you didnât reach out and tell him about the things youâve found that he might like whilst away, however that didnât mean he didnât have a bad feeling about all of it.
He did but he couldnât prove why as it was too early into the mission to say why he felt that way. Dan Heng always trusted his instincts when it came moments of uncertainty as theyâve always been proven correct. However this was the one time where he really didnât want that to be the case.
Yet the longer he went without the regular flow of communication between the two of you during missions, Dan Heng felt himself break out into a cold sweat during the night and out of breath from experiencing another nightmare where you didnât come back from this mission, leaving him utterly heartbroken and lost for the rest of his days.
He couldnât close his eyes for a single second without the nightmare flooding back to haunt him of a potential future without you, his other half.
He even had nightmares where you were calling out to him for help but he couldnât hear them and was forced by an higher power to ignore your soundless cries and walk away unbothered. Those were the nightmares Dan Heng hated the most as there would never be a moment in his life where he would ever leave you to such a cruel fate; Heâd be more than gladly suffer with you than ever abandon you.
So the moment you came home wounded and exhausted, Dan Heng didnât waste time in getting you to medical, taking everything the doctor told him to help you heal seriously as your newly appointed caregiver. Some of the time he came across as strict but he meant well as all he wanted was for you to get better and soon, seeing as how you gave him the biggest fright of his life.
He doesnât let anyone else near you.
You can blame it on his dragon noodle side as it grew overprotective of the fact that you -his mate- were in seemingly left in a vulnerable state. He didnât care to listen to the reasonings as to why he should let anyone else come near you, not without knowing their intentions in descriptive depth, he could take care of you himself perfectly fine and without any outside help.
He was your partner, you were his responsibility but this was all just an excuse to hide the fact that Dan Heng was genuinely scared of letting you out of his sight, even if it was for five minutes because a lot could happen in five minutes. So now he stays close to you from then on as a precaution, holding your hand in his and squeezing it as thought he was trying to convince himself that you were actually with him weeks afterwards.
Boothill didnât like the idea of you being so far from him and much preferred for you to stay in contact if you were going to be so far away from him for so long.
However nothing seemed to want to go the way he wanted as soon as he found that he couldnât contact you. None of his messages were going through and neither were his calls, as he read and reread the message that said you were out of the area for his messages to get through to you.
Boothill grew more and more restless the longer his texts didnât go through, still claiming you were out of the area, whatever the hell that means and had to actively find ways to de stress because of how often he found himself on the verge of blasting anything and everything that moved.
You were his anchor, his partner in crime and his voice of reason, without you Boothill was teetering on the brink of becoming everyoneâs problem should you spend even another hour more away from him.
So when you did come back with wounds scarred across your body and looking as though you were on the brink of collapse, Boothill was made more worried than before. Your wounds werenât very deep nor life threatening but Boothill didnât care, you were hurt and he wasnât made aware of it for the past two weeks.
He wanted to hunt down the bastards who made those wounds on your body and make them pay, regardless if they had a bounty on their heads or not, heâd gladly hunt them down just to set an example as to why you donât fuck with Boothillâs loved one.
âDonât.â You croaked, grabbing his hand. âJust stay with me and make everything okay cowboy.â
Boothill, not one to argue with you, especially not in your current state, obeyed your wish and stayed by your side as you slowly but surely recovered from your wounds with scars left behind as reminders.
Though that didnât stop him from going off behind your back to hunt the bastards down, he never could let go of a grudge after all.
Welt basically worried himself sick when he didnât hear anything from you the first couple of days, but was soon talked down from doing anything rash that could potentially put you in even more danger, regardless of his intention of being by your side.
Welt was restless for the remainder of the two weeks, double checking his phone for anything that could push him over the edge and force him into acting.
What happened to you?
Why werenât you responding?
Were you hurt?
Were you in danger and he didnât know?
So many thoughts floated in weltâs mind as he was left feeling powerless as he was forced to await your return, hoping that all his thoughts were just that, meaningless thoughts that had no real affect in reality.
He was wrong.
You did come home but you came back with some new wounds and a face that screamed exhaustion. You barely took one step before collapsing into Weltâs arms as he got you medical help.
âWhat happened out there?â Heâd calmly ask one day as he held your hand, thumb rubbing the back of it reassuringly.
âCommunications were down,â you told him as you squeezed his hand, just happy to be back home and with him, âthen the mission went south as I found myself out of my depth on several occasions, Iâm sorry Welt.â You finish weakly.
âThereâs nothing to be sorry for.â Welt reassures as he presses a kiss to your forehead. âNot all missions go according to plan and all that matters right now is that youâre safe, so please donât apologise for things beyond your control.â He adds as he watched you slowly drift to sleep, still feeling a little exhausted from the mission and everything that happened.
Welt stayed awake for a little while longer to commemorate this moment to memory, to treasure it during the moments when you were to be apart from one another again, but until that time Welt would hold you as close as he possibly could and keep you safe to the best of his abilities. Your safety meant a lot to him and heâd rather jeopardise his own safety if it meant that youâd never get hurt again, heâd do it in a heartbeat because thatâs just how much you meant to him and todays events only solidified that.

The Fallen Star
Pairings: Various Honkai Star Rail Men x Isekai'd!Reader
Summary: You wake up in a void and see someone towering over you. He's breathtaking and covers the sun and sky. One minute you are talking to him, but then you gain consciousness. You wake up to a silver-haired man giving you (failed) CPR, only to find yourself on the Xianzhou Luofu with four other people who soon later become your (temporary?) traveling companions.
Note: Welcome to my first Honkai Star Rail fanfiction! This work is part of a brand new series called "Brightest Star in the Universe." Yes, it's Isekai like the Genshin fics. This is going to be cross-posted on AO3 as well (like all of my fics). To be honest, I didn't think I was going to be posting a Honkai Star Rail series so soon, but here I am. Since there are unreleased characters in this series (Luocha and Blade), their personalities are going to be a bit out of character. Then again, most HSR men's personalities are going to be out of character for a bit until I'm familiar with all of them. I don't post anywhere else but on Tumblr (Genshinluvr) and on AO3 (Aaliah_exo).
Warnings: Mentions of blood, but it's not bad
Word Count: 8.6k
The last thing you remembered before you woke up was a tall man towering over you, blocking the sun and sky from your view. He had silver-white hair and tanned skin, and his arms were in pieces, gold bleeding through the cracks over his body. He was beautiful, but his beauty intimidated you. The way he gazed at you, his eyebrows furrowed.
You felt yourself tremble beneath his gaze. Who was this man, and why was he bigger than the sun and sky? âWhere am I? Who are you?â You whispered, your voice trembling with fear and confusion.
The world around you rumbled, making you wince and look around in panic. It took you a moment to realize that the huge man before you was chuckling. The man gazed at you with amusement before squatting down before you without taking his eyes off of you. Wait, does he even have legs?
âMy name is not important, little one,â he replies. âYou and I will meet again soon, but for now, itâs time for you to wake up from your slumber.â
You looked at him quizzically before scanning your surroundings. There was no one else but you and him. You and this man were in a vortex of some sort. The light is blocked out by his figure. You pinched yourself and winced in pain. What does he mean by âwake up from your slumber?â Were you not awake the entire time?
You look at the man, only to see that he is still staring at you with an unreadable expression on his face. âWhat do you mean by that?â You whispered.
The silence in the void is deafening. Even if you whispered, your voice echoed in the abyss. You shifted in your spot before getting up from the ground. You dust your clothes off and gaze at the ginormous man before you, waiting for him to answer. The world around you slowly turns black, and the man nods at you before your vision turns black.
Just as youâre gaining consciousness, you hear voices around you. The voices are muffled, almost as if youâre underwater, and the voices of the people are above you and all over the place. Your ears are ringing, and your limbs feel like lead. You want to open your eyes, but your eyelids feel heavy.
âAre you sure theyâre alive?â You hear a girl ask.
You hear a slow sigh coming from your left. âOf course, theyâre alive, March. Canât you see the steady rise and fall of their chest?â the male to your left asks.
âIf theyâre alive, then why are they not waking up? Aside from being unconscious, of course,â says March.
You feel someone tap your cheeks repeatedly. You groan and try to swat the hands away from your face, only for your hands to fall back to the ground. The girl named March lets out a loud gasp.Â
The man beside you lets out a sigh. âMarch, can you go find Mr. Yang? In the meantime, Caelus and I will stand guard and make sure this person is okay,â he says.
âMarchâ makes a disgruntled noise before stomping away. Something beneath you shifts, and you open your eyes to see a silver-haired man leaning down, his lips puckering. You open your mouth to say something, but the man covers your mouth with his. You let out a combination of a squeak and a gasp. The silver-haired man backs up and looks down at you with wide eyes, his fringe covering a part of his eyes.Â
The silver-haired man blushes and clears his throat. âItâs good to see that youâre awake! Ahem⊠how are you feeling?â He asks.
You swallow the lump in your throat and slowly prop yourself up on your arms, rubbing the back of your neck. âI-Iâm fine! Um⊠thatâs an interesting way to wake someone up,â you said, giving the silver-haired man a sheepish smile.Â
âI was trying to give you CPR, but that didnât turn out how I thought it was going to,â replies the silver-haired man, his cheeks flushing red. He looks over at the black-haired man with a glare. The man with black hair looks away, his lips pressed into a thin line while his shoulders are shaking. The silver-haired man narrows his eyes at the black-haired man before punching him in the shoulders lightly, causing the man to grunt and let out a cough. Was he laughing? You sit up and look around, dazed and confused about how you ended up on a ship. Wait, is it a ship? Where are you?
You clear your throat and rub your throbbing temples. How did you end up on a ship? Or wherever you are. Gosh, youâre so out of it that youâre having a hard time figuring out where youâre at. You close your eyes, feeling a wave of nausea hit you like a train. One minute you were in a void with an extremely tall man that bleeds gold, and now youâre somewhere with two men at your side. One man is trying to stifle his laughter, while the other is almost as red as tomatoes.Â
The red-faced silver-haired man clears his throat. âMy name is Caelus, and the one thatâs laughing beside us is Dan Heng,â Caelus says, nudging Dan Heng beside him with a small glare as if heâs telling Dan Heng to be quiet.
Dan Heng clears his throat before fixing his composure, crossing his arms over his chest. âHow are you feeling? You were out cold when we found you on the Xianzhou Luofu,â says Dan Heng, staring at you emotionlessly.
âOther than a slight headache, Iâm feeling okay. Confused, but okay nonetheless,â you reply.Â
The two men stand up while you remain on the floor. You continue to take in your surroundings, eyes focusing on the stars hanging above you and the two men on thisâŠ. ship. Youâre on a flagship⊠in space⊠traveling to who knows where. You look at the men behind you, pointing at your surroundings.
You clear your throat. âSo, I was unconscious on the Xianzhou Luofu? Thatâs how you two found me?â You ask, rubbing your eyes while remaining on the ground. âHuh. How did I end up here?â
Rapid footsteps approach you, Dan Heng, and Caelus. You look up to see a pink-haired girl running toward the three of you, with a brown-haired man following close behind. The pink-haired girlâs eyes light up when the two of you make eye contact. You get up from the ground, dusting off your clothes.
The girl and brown-haired man stop before you. âOh, goodie! Youâre awake this time! I was starting to get worried!â She says, propping her hands on her hips. âMr. Yang, this is the unconscious person I was telling you about! Well, theyâre not unconscious anymore, but we stumbled across them when we split up while trying to look for Kafka.â
The brown-haired manâ or Mr. Yangâ strokes his chin while analyzing you from head to toe. Youâre definitely not from the Xianzhou Luofu, and youâre certainly not from Jarlio-VI.Â
The man hums before crossing his arms over his chest. âDo you know how you ended up here?â asks Mr. Yang.
You shake your head. âI donât know how I ended up here. One minute, I was in a void with a man that towered over me, and now I somehow ended up on a ship.â You reply.Â
Now that you said it out loud, you wouldnât believe yourself if you were someone else. Would these people believe you? The pink girl hums thoughtfully, tilting her head to the side while gazing at you curiously.
âIâm March 7th, by the way! But you can call me March! This man here is Welt Yang!â She gestures to the brown-haired man beside her. âIâm assuming those two have introduced themselves to you already?â
You nod. âThey have! Apologies for not introducing myself earlier, but my nameâs [Y/N].â You say, rubbing the back of your neck with a sheepish smile.
You look at your surroundings. While youâre on the Xianzhou Luofu, youâre not entirely sure where you, Dan Heng, Caelus, Mr. Yang (should you call him by his first name or by his last name?), and March are precisely on the ship. Looking at your surroundings, all you see are boxesâ youâre assuming theyâre cargo of some sort. The air is nice and chilly, causing goosebumps to appear on your arms.
âWe have to meet with General Jing Yuan. There are some things we still need to discuss with him,â Mr. Yang says, pulling his phone out to look at the time.
March points at you. âWhat do we do with [Y/N]? Do we bring them along with us as well?â asks March, looking at Mr. Yang for answers.
Your eyes widen, and you shake your head, waving your hands in front of you. âOh, no! You donât have to bring me along with you guys! Plus, you mentioned meeting with a generalâŠ. That sounds important, and I donât want to intrude. After all, I am an outsider and, uh, donât fit in this situation,â you said.
The five of them were heading to meet with the General of the Xianzhou Luofu. Dan Heng, Caelus, and March ended up stumbling across your unconscious body on the Xianzhou Luofu in an area where there arenât many people roaming around. You sort of threw them off while they were headed toward their destination. Surely you canât just tag along with them now, can you?
March huffs and frowns at you. âHey! Youâre not the only one whoâs an outsider! The four of us arenât from the Xianzhou Luofu either!â March interjects, stepping toward you and linking her arm around yours. âBesides! I think you should tag along with us either way! We donât want to leave you behind, especially when youâre not from the Xianzhou Luofu! You are now a Trailblazer like us!âÂ
Mr. Yang sighs and pushes his glasses up. âLetâs go. We have no time to lose. [Y/N], weâll talk about this after meeting with General Jing Yuan,â says Mr. Yang, looking in your direction.
You nod and follow after the group, setting off to the location where General Jing Yuan told them to meet.Â
Upon arriving at the destination, you have concluded that you like the Xianzhou Luofu! Not only is it beautiful and vast, with a nice view of the universe, but you find the citizens of the Xianzhou Luofu interesting, and youâre curious about everything, really.Â
Now that you think about it, the ship and the people youâre tagging along with feel familiar. You know what this place is; you know it! Itâs on the tip of your tongue, but dealing with sudden scenery changes and the brain fog is throwing you off.
The grand doors open, and the five of you step into the room. You look around, eyes wide with wonder and curiosity. Many people are walking in and out of the room, people gathering around in one spot while others are tending to their duties on the ship. Mr. Yang, March, Dan Heng, Caelus, and you approach the white-haired man sitting on a chair. He seems to be occupied with the game of chess. You canât tell if his blond opponent looks frustrated or focused. His eyebrows furrowed, and his eyes focused on the chessboard before the two of them. Hearing footsteps approaching their direction, the blond boy and white-haired man look at your group.
The white-haired man stands up, looking at the blond boy and nodding. The blond boy gets up from his seat and walks off, looking at your group from the corner of his eyes as he passes the five of you.
âI hope the journey wasnât too complicated. Itâs good to see you all again,â says the white-haired man.
Mr. Yang nods. âGeneral Jing Yuan, itâs nice to see you again. Weâre here to discuss the matters you wanted to speak to us about regarding the situationâŠ.â Mr. Yangâs voice slowly becomes muffled as you continue to look at your surroundings.
There are holograms of the people, you assume, that work on the Xianzhou Luofu! Holograms! You have never seen a hologram before, and it looks so cool! What was this place called again? You recalled that they were supposed to meet up at the generalâs office, but the location was changed. Was the office called the Seat of the Divine Foresight? Although, with the number of people going in and out of the room, itâs certainly not the generalâs office. Where in the world are you exactly? Gosh, itâs like you have the name on the tip of your tongue, but itâs not coming out.
âCare to introduce me to your new friend?â General Jing Yuanâs voice pulls you out of your thoughts.
You blink and look up to see General Jing Yuan looking right at you. You freeze in your spot like a deer in headlights, blinking at the white-haired man owlishly. A soft smile appears on his face, a low rumbling coming from his chest. You couldnât help but feel intimidated by his presence. Such power and authority exude from the man standing before the five of you.Â
Your face heats up when more people look in your direction. You clear your throat and stand there awkwardly, not sure what to do. Sure, you could introduce yourself to General Jing Yuan, but you were hoping he didnât notice a new face around the Xianzhou Luofu. You point at yourself dumbly, blinking cluelessly at the man approaching you. Oh gosh, heâs walking toward you.Â
General Jing Yuan nods. âYes, I was talking to you. Iâve never seen you around the Xianzhou Luofu, nor have I seen you with Welt Yang and his traveling companions,â says General Jing Yuan, now standing in front of you.
Dear gosh, this man is standing right in front of you. Heâs not a hologram. Heâs flesh and blood. If you reach out right now, you would be touching him with your hands. You give General Jing Yuan a shy smile, face hotter than ever.
You raise your hand in an awkward wave before introducing yourself. âHi! I, uh, my nameâs [Y/N]! Itâs a pleasure to meet you, General Jing Yuan!â You squeak.
General Jing Yuan lets out a hearty laugh. âItâs nice to meet you, [Y/N]. Please, just call me Jing Yuan. No need to call me Generalâ General is merely a temporary title,â says Jing Yuan, giving you a cat-like smile.
Jing Yuan grabs your hand gently and raises your hand to his face before pressing a kiss on your knuckles without breaking eye contact. Dear gosh, itâs like this man wants your face to feel hotter than it already is.Â
âSince when is he a flirt?â You hear March mutter to Caelus, Dan Heng, and Mr. Yang.Â
Jing Yuan releases your hand while you stand there awkwardly while tucking your hair behind your ear. You give Jing Yuan a flustered smile before looking away after clearing your throat. Dan Heng sighs while Mr. Yang steps up, grabbing Jing Yuanâs attention. You take a step back and stand between Dan Heng and Caelus, refusing to look at them after feeling intense stares at your head.
âThat was something,â Caelus comments, crossing his arms over his chest.
Dan Heng hums in agreement. âIt really is, isnât it? Who knew that the General of the Xianzhou Luofu has such a charm,â Dan Heng comments.
You clear your throat again. âMaybe itâs how people greet on the Xianzhou Luofu!â You say.
March scrunches her nose and shakes her head. âThey donât do that on the Xianzhou Luofu. Weâve visited a couple of times, but not once were we greeted like how the General greeted you, [Y/N],â March teases, giving you a cheeky smile.
While Mr. Yang and Jing Yuan are conversing with each other about the situation, Dang Heng, Caelus, and March would interject here and there while the two are speaking. As usual, since youâre not part of the conversation, you would space out and look at your surroundings. Itâs tempting to wander off, but you stay where youâre standing and listen to their conversation.
The doors to the room fly open, and enter a man with long, blond hair and a brown-haired girl with pigtails. The girl looks mildly miffed, while the blond man looks pleased with himself as he follows the girl into the room with a giant casket behind him. You look at the casket in horror and look at Caelus, Dan Heng, and March. The trio did not seem to be phased by the fact that the blond man was carrying around a casket like it was a backpack.Â
The blond man notices youâre staring at him, and he smiles at you, keeping a firm grip on the casket behind him. âI see you notice the coffin behind me,â he comments.
You nod in response. âYeah! Itâs, uh, hard to overlook it,â you reply.
The brown-haired girl huffs and crosses her arms over her chest with a deep frown on her face. âItâs strange, isnât it?â asks the girl, looking in your direction.
You blink at her with surprise. âAh, strange?â You squeak.Â
What was she talking about? The man carrying a large casket with him, or was there something else youâre missing? After all, she did enter the room with the blond man, looking visibly peeved.
The brown-haired girl drags out a sigh, propping her right hand on her hip. âFor a foreign trader like himself to be carrying a casket around so casually,â she replies. âI didnât think it was a casket until I asked him about it.â
The blond man clears his throat. âThis coffin isn't mine, Sushang. I was merely entrusted to take the body back to the Xianzhou Luofu,â the man says casually. âMy nameâs Luocha. As Sushang said, I am a foreign trader. Currently, I was tasked to return this casket to the Xianzhou Luofu.â He gestures to the casket behind him.
You stare at the casket and then look at the blond man, who raises his eyebrows at you with an amused look. It seems like Luocha knows what you want to ask him. What is in the casket? More importantly, who is in the coffin, and why does he need to deliver it back to the Xianzhou Luofu?
Luocha crosses his arms over his chest. âItâs alright if you want to ask whoâs in the coffin. Iâve had a few people ask me the same question while on my journey to the Xianzhou Luofu,â says Luocha, looking at Sushang from the corner of his eyes.
You give Luocha a sheepish smile and shake your head. âNo, no! I wasnât going to ask you that question! I was wondering how you can carry a coffin around for so long without getting tired of it. You would think there would be an easier way to transport a casket,â you say.
You did wonder who was in the coffin. I mean, like Luocha said, he has had a few people ask him who (or what) was in the large casket behind him. As much as youâre curious, you donât think it would be appropriate to ask since itâs none of your business, and it would be rude to ask.
Sushang looks at you curiously, examining you from head to toe. âYou donât look like youâre from the Xianzhou Luofu. Are you Dan Hengâs newly added traveling companion?â asks Sushang.
You make an uncertain noise, giving Sushang and Luocha a âso-soâ gesture. âKind of! I⊠Iâm not sure if now is the right time to explain the situation,â you murmur, turning to look at your new traveling companions.
March, Dan Heng, and Caelus shrug their shoulders simultaneously. You sigh and turn to look at Luocha and Sushang with a fake smile. Now would be a good time to leave the Xianzhou Luofu, but even if you were to leave the ship, would they (your temporary traveling companions) be okay with you tagging along?Â
Sushang looks at you curiously. âOh? Why do you seem uncertain about being their new traveling companions?â Sushang asks.
You press your lips into a thin line and rock back and forth on the balls of your feet. Would this be a good time to tell them (Sushang, Luocha, and Jing Yuan) about your situation? Maybe theyâll know the answer to it! Hopefully, they know the answer! You go on to tell Sushang and Luocha your situation: how you wake up to Caelus giving you CPR, and you find yourself on the Xianzhou Luofu despite not being from the Xianzhou Luofu.Â
Sushang hums and strokes her chin, squinting her eyes at you while chewing on the inside of her cheek. âDo you have memory loss by any chance?â Sushang asks.
Your gaze falls to the ground after hearing her question. Now that you think about it, the last thing you remembered before waking up was being in the void with a man towering over you. Heâs so huge that he covered the sun and sky! Should you mention that to them too? You donât know the manâs name. He told you his name isnât important, but you know thatâs not the case.
âI guess? I donât really know how I ended up here, really. The last thing I remembered before waking up was being in a void with this tall person, but then I gained consciousness, and here I am!â You say, shrugging your shoulders.Â
They all probably think youâre crazy after explaining to them the last thing you saw before waking up to Caelus giving you CPR. You werenât lying about being in a void with an extremely tall person. Technically, he wasnât tallâ he was a giant. They all look at you like you have just grown a second head.Â
Mr. Yang walks over to the group and nods at you, Dan Heng, March, and Caelus. âAlright, General Jing Yuan has given me some information on what we need to do. So far, there arenât many things to check on the Xianzhou Luofu, but we do have to stop by Jarlio-VI per Caelusâ request,â says Mr. Yang.
March looks at Mr. Yang quizzically. âWhy stop by Jarlio-VI? We have already completed what we needed to do on Jarlio-VI,â says March, crossing her arms over her chest.
Caelus hands his phone over to March. March grabs Caelusâ phone and skims through the messages on Caelusâ phone. March sighs and nods, handing Caelus back his phone before propping her hands on her hips.
âWell, it looks like weâll be seeing some familiar faces again!â March announces.
You look at the group cluelessly, rubbing your arm. Does that mean youâll have to go to Jarlio-VI with the group as well? I mean, thereâs nowhere else for you to go, really. The best option is to tag along with the people that found you unconscious.
March nudges you and gestures to follow her and the three men. âLetâs go! Iâll introduce you to Pom-Pom and Himeko! Youâll love them and the Astral Express!â March grins, grabbing your wrist and pulling you along.
The five of you wave to Sushang, Jing Yuan, and Luocha goodbye before walking out of the room. You didnât know where they were leading you, but you assumed it was to an area where the four of them were dropped off before they found you unconscious on the ground of the Xianzhou Luofu.Â
Right when the five of you are about to reach your destination (or, thatâs what youâre assuming because youâre not familiar with the Xianzhou Luofu, nor are you sure where theyâre taking you), a figure swoops in out of nowhere and snatches you from Marchâs grasp.
Everyone stops in their tracks and turns to look at the person holding you hostage. Your back is pressing against the manâs chest, and you feel the man press his sword up against your neck. March, Caelus, and Mr. Yang glare at the man behind you while Dan Heng looks like he just witnessed someone massacre everyone in his village. You swallow your fear and slowly turn your head to see a man with long, dark hair and red eyes. His eyes are focusing on the people standing in front of the two of you.
âSo this is the fallen star Kafka mentioned,â the man mutters, looking down at you.
You blink at the man behind you and look at the others cluelessly. âWho is this man, and what does he mean by that?â You ask.
The man behind you tightens his grip around you, his arm wrapping across your chest while continuing to press the sword against your neck. March glares at the man behind you and seethes with anger.
âLet them go, Blade! Donât involve them in anything!â March shouts.
Dan Heng takes a step closer toward you and Blade, only for Blade to take a step back, bringing you with him. Blade glares at Dan Heng and the others, pressing the edge of the sword against your neck. You close your eyes and visibly wince when the blade nicked your neck, causing a trail of blood to slowly trickle down. Dan Heng and Caelus glare at Blade, getting ready to step forward, when Mr. Yang grabs onto both of the menâs shoulders, shaking his head.Â
Blade smirks and chuckles. âI wouldnât step any closer if I were you. If you want them to come out unscathed, then you will comply with my and Kafkaâs orders,â said Blade.
You nudge the man behind you. âWhat do you mean when you mentioned fallen star? Iâm not a fallen star,â you grumble, glaring at Blade from the corner of your eyes. âAnd for your information, I didnât come out unscathed.â You gesture to your neck.
One minute you were in a void with an enormous man before you, then you woke up to Caelus giving you CPR on the Xianzhou Luofu, and now youâre being held hostage by a man named Blade on the Xianzhou Luofu. Can this get any worse?
Blade huffs and tightens his grip around you, not taking his eyes off the people standing before you and him. âTwo hours before your arrival to the Xianzhou Luofu, Kafka reported a strange light flying across the galaxy. That light was presumed to be a fallen star, and the light led to the Xianzhou Luofu. In case none of you realized it, the fallen star is this one right here,â says Blade, gesturing to you.
You furrow your eyebrows after hearing Bladeâs explanation. You have to be honest here; whatever Blade just said to you, Mr. Yang, Dan Heng, Caelus, and March, it sounds ridiculous. You? A fallen star? What does that even mean? You fell out from the sky and somehow ended up on the Xianzhou Luofu? Not only does it sound ridiculous, but it doesnât seem probable because you didnât have any markings on you aside from the cut on your neck from Bladeâs sword.
You close your eyes and rest your head on Bladeâs shoulders, catching him off guard. You turn your head slightly and peek at him. âAnd what do you and this Kafka person want from me exactly? You make it seem like Iâm some rare gem from space, finally crashing and landing somewhere,â you comment.
Blade remains silent, staring down at you while you stare at him in return. It almost seems like he doesnât have a plan for what to do with you. Other than holding you hostage in front of your (possibly) temporary traveling companions. You frown at Blade after a few minutes of him not responding to your question. You elbow Blade in the gut before pushing his arms off you with a huff, walking away from the man.
You and the others were surprised to see that Blade didnât retaliate. He seems to be the type that gets set off easily. But since he didnât slash at you or lash out at you for elbowing him in the stomach and pushing his arms off your person, it genuinely shocked the others. You rub and graze your fingers over the cut on your neck.Â
You narrow your eyes at Blade and walk over to where the others are standing. March runs up to you to assess the open wound on your neck. March sighs in relief, looking over at Blade with a glare before pulling you to the side while Caelus, Dan Heng, and Mr. Yang deal with Blade to the side.
You watch Blade, Dan Heng, Caelus, and Mr. Yang stand before each other, not saying a word. Their weapons are drawn out, but no one has started anything. They all stand there, staring at each other in silence, while March struggles to pull a bandaid out from her pocket. March hands you the bandaid after successfully grabbing the bandaid.Â
March turns to look at the four men with one hand on her hip while the other is on your shoulder. âHey, are you guys just going to stand there and stare at each other all day, or are you guys going to fight it out?â demands March, glaring at the men.
Blade smirks and tightens his grip on his sword. âIf thatâs what you want, then a fight is what you shall receive,â says Blade.
Blade was about to lunge at the three men before him, but a woman with red wine-colored hair appeared out of nowhere, placing her hand on Bladeâs shoulders. Blade stops in his tracks and looks over his shoulders at the woman.Â
She gives him a smile and chuckles, looking in your direction. âItâs good to see you, little shooting star. I apologize that you had to meet us this way, but our destinies are intertwined no matter where you go and how far we are from each other,â says the woman.
Everyone stares at the woman in silence. Everyone but you seem tensed at her mere presence. She takes her hand off Bladeâs shoulders before walking toward your and Marchâs direction. Caelus and Dan Heng block her way, holding their weapons out in front of them while glaring at the woman.
The woman frowns and looks at Caelus with a pout. Almost like she was mocking him. âOh, Caelus. Do you not trust me after all weâve been through?â she asks, crossing her arms over her chest.
March lets out a loud scoff. âCan you blame us for not trusting you after all that stuff you put us through, Kafka?!â March asks, glaring at the red wine-colored-haired woman.
âKafka?â you mouthed to yourself, furrowing your eyebrows. The gorgeous woman is Kafka? Not only was she stunning, but the way she was looking at you was sending chills down your spine. Thereâs something about her you couldnât put your fingers on. She seems powerful and the leader of this whole situation. Maybe the word ring-leader would suit her since Blade does follow her orders around like a dog.Â
Kafka turns around and starts walking away. âCome on, Bladie. It seems like weâll have to find another time to meet [Y/N] again. For now, letâs part our ways,â says Kafka.
You freeze in your spot and look at Kafka with wide eyes. How in the world does she know your name when you havenât introduced yourself to Blade and Kafka? Kafka looks over her shoulders and smiles at you before disappearing from everyoneâs sight. Blade huffs and puts his sword away, turning around and following after Kafka.Â
March huffs. âKafka and her dog are going to search for [Y/N] again. I donât think itâs safe for them to be alone,â March states, looking at Mr. Yang, Dan Heng, and Caelus. âItâs best they remain on the Astral Express with us until further notice.â
You furrow your eyebrows and give March a questioning look. What does she mean by you remaining on the Astral Express until further notice? Until you find a home somewhere and can finally leave them alone? Where are you going to go? Youâre on a ship thatâs traversing through space, and now youâre going to be on a train that also travels through space.Â
âLetâs return to the Astral Express, and then we can talk about it after stopping by Jarlio-VI,â says Mr. Yang.
The five of you continued your way to the area where Dan Heng, Caelus, March, and Mr. Yang were dropped off. Youâre kind of excited to step foot on the Astral Express and Jarlio-VI. Mainly Jarlio-VI because of how March described it, along with the stories she told you when she, Caelus, and Dan Heng visited the frozen planet due to the eternal freeze.
A frozen planet sounds interesting because not many things can survive and thrive in such conditions. It makes you wonder if there were any wild animals that roam Jarlio-VI aside from humans and creatures March, Dan Heng, and Caelus passively mentioned. Speaking of creatures the trio mentioned, youâre hoping you wonât have to deal with it or get caught in the crossfire.Â
Your stay on the Astral Express was short, and you met Pom-Pom and Himeko! Theyâre very welcoming, and Himeko is like an older sister, and perhaps a mother, figure to you despite you knowing her for less than a few hours. Despite your visitation of the Astral Express being short, you somehow managed to fall asleep while the train was headed to Jarlio-VI.
When you open your eyes, you find yourself in the void again. The very same void you were in before you woke up to Caelus giving you (failed) CPR. You look around, and there is the man towering over you.Â
You frown at the (gorgeous) man and rub your eyes. âIt seems like the only time Iâll see you again is through my dreams, huh? Iâm starting to think youâre not real and that youâre a figment of my imagination,â you say, crossing your arms over your chest.Â
The man chuckles and gazes at you with an amused look on his face. Damn, his smile is breathtaking, but itâs too bad heâs not real. Or at least thatâs what youâre assuming. The man beckons you to come closer. You push yourself off the ground and walk toward him while scanning your surroundings.Â
You werenât just in a void, but there were tiny stars sparkling around you and the massive man before you. The man holds his hand out, placing them before you. You stare at his hands questionably before stepping on his hand, letting him lift you to his eye level.
âWe will meet very soon, little one. Now is not a good time to meet,â he says.
You frown at the man, letting out a huff before crossing your arms over your chest like a petulant child. âNo matter what you tell me, Iâll always assume youâre a figment of my imagination. At least tell me your name,â you murmur, looking at him from the corner of your eyes.
The man smiles at you and nods. âMy nameâs Nanook and I promise we will meet in person soon. For now, this is the only way I will be able to communicate with you--- through your dreams.â He caresses your hair with his index finger.
You stare at Nanook without saying a word, still not convinced that heâs real. Nanook sighs and gives you a small smile. From a distance, you hear someone call your name. You look away from Nanook and begin searching for the voice. Nanook sighs, putting you back on the ground and smiling at you almost sadly. Youâre about to ask him what was wrong when the world around you slowly fades away.
âWake up!â
Your eyelids snap open, and you sit up, rubbing the sleep from your eyes. March sighs and collapses across from you while Caelus and Dan Heng stand to the side with unreadable expressions on their faces.Â
March huffs and narrows her eyes at you. âFinally! Iâve been trying to wake you up for the past ten minutes!â March says.
You blink at March and look at Dan Heng and Caelus, who nods in response. How long have you been asleep? March was trying to wake you up for ten minutes, but it didnât feel that long. You were with Nanook in your dreams for what felt like three minutes or less. Were you asleep for that long?
âWeâre arriving at Jarlio-VI very soon. Gepard and Sampo will be meeting us at the Administrative District,â says Dan Heng.
Caelus and Dan Heng walk off, leaving you and March alone on the couch. Caelus nudges Dan Heng, looking at you from over his shoulders and then at the black-haired man worriedly. Dan Heng chews on the inside of his cheek, leaning against the wall while waiting for the Astral Express to reach its destination.
âYou heard that, right? [Y/N] mumbling Nanookâs name in their sleep,â says Caelus.
Dan Heng nods. Before Dan Heng can reply, the Astral Express comes to a complete stop, and Pom-Pom announces the Astral Expressâs arrival to Jarlio-VI from where they were standing. You and March get up from the couch and stretch your arms and legs.Â
You rub the base of your neck and wince when you feel it strain. Great, now you have a crick in your neck from sleeping on the couch in the Astral Express for who knows how long. March loops her arms around yours, dragging you out of the Astral Express with Dan Heng and Caelus following behind.Â
March looks over her shoulders, shouting, âCome on, Mr. Yang! We donât have all day!â March continues to pull you along to the Administrative District with a wide smile on her face while youâre trying your best to keep up with the hyperactive girl.Â
Himeko crosses her arms over her chest and taps on her chin. âYou feel it too, right?â Himeko asks, looking over at the brown-haired man.
Mr. Yang raises his eyebrows at Himeko, waiting for her to clarify. Himeko chuckles, shaking her head, looking at the entrance of the Astral Express, where you, March, Dan Heng, and Caelus ran out. Technically, you were dragged out of the Astral Express by March.
âThe sense of familiarity with [Y/N]. Almost like we know them despite never meeting them. This connectionâŠ.â Himeko trails off, humming softly. Himeko chuckles and looks at Mr. Yang, gesturing for him to follow after you, March, Dan Heng, and Caelus.
Back to you and the trio, the three of you walk around the Administrative District searching for these Gepard and Sampo people. From what you have been told, Gepard is the little brother of Serval, and Sampo is some con artist the trio met in the underworld. Youâre looking forward to meeting Gepard and Sampo! They sound like interesting people, especially Sampo.
âFams! There you guys are!â You hear someone call from a distance.
The four of you turn in the direction of the voice to see an indigo-haired man and a blond man approaching your group. The indigo-haired man smiles widely and waves at the four of you. When you and the indigo-haired man make eye contact, his eyes seem to light up, and the smile on his face becomes wider before he sprints in your and the trioâs direction.
The green-eyed indigo-haired man and the blond man with blue eyes stop before your group, looking at you curiously. You canât help but feel self-conscious under their gaze. Their clothes are interesting, but it looks nice on them. Wait, are you staring at them? You snap out of your thoughts and look away, trying to act like you werenât staring at them.Â
âCaelus, March, Dan Heng, care to introduce us to your new traveling companion?â asks the blond man, staring you down with those blue eyes of his.
March smiles widely and nods before happily introducing you to the two men before you. You smile at them politely and wave at them. The two men introduce themselves to you not long after, and you are glad their names are easy to remember because youâre not the best at remembering the names of the people you have just met.
âNot to come off as rude or anything, but you donât seem to be from here,â Sampo says, looking at you curiously.
Gepard looks at Sampo from the corner of his eyes before shaking his head. âSorry if what he said came off as rude. Sampo has no manners,â Gepard mutters, crossing his arms over his chest.Â
You laugh and wave your hand in front of you. âNo, no, itâs fine! Sampo asked a genuine question, and Iâm sure there are other people that are curious as well,â you say, giving Sampo and Gepard a small smile.Â
You and the others walk around the Administrative District while you tell Gepard and Sampo the situation. You woke up on the Xianzhou Luofu, unsure of how you ended up on the ship. Prior to gaining consciousness, you were in a void with Nanook. Of course, you didnât tell Sampo and Gepard about you knowing Nanookâs name, only how heâs a tall figure that covered the sun and sky.Â
While you tell the two men your situation, Mr. Yang ends up catching up to your group, and the seven of you stop near the theater. Sampo and Gepard didnât make a comment on your sudden appearance on the Xianzhou Luofu, but they have tried asking you a few questions.Â
âEverything is starting to feel familiar, but I canât put my finger on it.â You murmur, scanning your surroundings.
Belobog is beautiful and cold, but thereâs something unnerving about it. On the other hand, the Xianzhou Luofu doesnât feel eerie or ominous. The others look at you curiously, wondering what you mean when you say everything is starting to feel familiar.Â
Sampo, being the man that he is, slides in front of you and gives you a charming smile before flicking his bangs away from his eyes. âPardon me saying this so suddenly, but Iâm sensing you feel a connection between us?â asks Sampo, gesturing between you and him.
You blink at Sampo. âYes,â you reply slowly. âI guess thatâs a better way of putting it.âÂ
Sampo looks at you with wide eyes, his cheeks tinting pink. Sampo clears his throat and tucks an invisible strand of hair behind his ears. âOh? So you do feel that connection between us!â Sampo grins.
Your head is beginning to hurt, and thereâs a low ringing in your ears thatâs gradually getting louder and louder. You tried to act normal and playfully scoffed at Sampoâs comment before walking to the nearest bench near the theater. When you walk off with March at your side, Gepard looks at Sampo while Dan Heng, Mr. Yang, and Caelus trade glances at each other.
Gepard hums, furrowing his eyebrows. âSo, you feel that too?â Gepard mutters.
Sampo does a double take and looks at Gepard with wide eyes. âWhat do you mean by âtooâ? I was talking to [Y/N], not you!â says Sampo, huffing.
Dan Heng, Caelus, Mr. Yang, and Gepard stare at Sampo with blank expressions. Sampo blinks at them and laughs nervously, rubbing the back of his neck. Gepard sighs, trying to ignore the strange pull in his chest.
âYouâre not the only one that feels that connection, you know?â Gepard hisses, glaring at Sampo.
Sampoâs eyes widen, and he holds his hands up in front of him, laughing. âWhoa, there, buddy. Listen, I donât know what youâre trying to imply, but I donât feel a connection with you! I feel a connection with [Y/N], but certainly not you! Plus, why would I, Sampo Koski, be with someone that constantly tries to put me in jail?â Sampo asks.
Caelus snorts and rolls his eyes. âThatâs not what Gepard is implying, Sampo,â Caelus comments, pressing his lips into a thin line to prevent himself from laughing in Sampoâs face.
Sampo looks at Caelus quizzically, then at Dan Heng. Dan Heng raises an eyebrow at Sampo, crossing his arms over his chest.Â
Dan Heng sighs before answering, âGepard is implying that youâre not the only one that feels the connection with [Y/N]. Gepard feels the same connection with [Y/N] as well.â
Mr. Yang looks at Sampo and Gepard, surprised. He clears his throat to grab the four menâs attention before pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose. âHimeko mentioned the same thing before I caught up with the rest of you. Himeko says she feels a sense of familiarity when she saw [Y/N], although I donât think she feels the same as the rest of us,â Mr. Yang explains.Â
Gepardâs eyebrows shoot to his hairline. âWhat do you mean by the rest of us? Do all of you feel the same way toward [Y/N]?â Gepard demands, chewing on his bottom lip.
Despite not getting a response from the four men in front of him, Gepard already knows the answer to his question. Every one of these men feels some kind of connection with you. Heck, even Himeko says she feels a sense of familiarity with you, according to Mr. Yang. A sense of familiarity is different from the tugging in their chests when theyâre around you. The best way to describe it is a gravitational pull. It makes them want to be closer to you and be near you.
âDoes anyone know they feel the same way?â Gepard asks, looking at you from the corner of his eyes. âI know they told Sampo they feel it as well, but what if theyâre saying it to get Sampo off their back?â Gepard asks, propping one hand on his hip while stroking his chin.
The rest of the day went by in a blur to you. The last thing you remembered before losing consciousness was Himeko showing you where your temporary room is located on the Astral Express. Nanook communicated with you through your dreams twice, but this time, he didnât make an appearance. You slept for a few hours, only to be woken up by someone knocking at the door.
You roll out of bed and stumble to the door, grabbing the doorknob and opening the door without a second thought. At first, you thought it was going to be March that was standing at the door, ready to show a photo book of her, Dan Heng, Mr. Yang, and Caelus trailblazing, but instead, it was Jing Yuan, Blade, and Luocha thatâs standing at the door.
Just when you were feeling groggy, youâre now alert and surprised. You stare at the trio with wide eyes and peek over their shoulders. Why are they at the Astral Express? Shouldnât they be at the Xianzhou Luofu? And as for Blade, youâre not entirely sure why heâs with Jing Yuan and Luocha at the Astral Express.
You give the three men a fake smile. âJing Yuan, Luocha, and Blade! What a surprise! If you donât mind me asking, what are you three doing here?â You ask, running your hands through your bedhead.Â
Jing Yuan chuckles. âItâs good to see you too, [Y/N]. We came to check up on you to see if you were okay. Caelus informed us that you werenât feeling well when you were on Jarlio-VI,â says Jing Yuan.
You stare at Jing Yuan like a fish out of water. âOh! Iâm fine, really! I didnât think you would stop by to check up on me after hearing what happened,â you say, clearing your throat.
Luocha smiles and pats your head. âWe were worried about your well-being! Of course, we would stop by to see if youâre okay! Are we not allowed to do that?â Luocha asks, batting his eyelashes at you.
You feel yourself becoming flustered under their gaze, and you look away, rubbing the back of your neck. Then you realize that Blade is also standing there, behind Luocha and Jing Yuan, staring at you menacingly. Well, he was just staring at you like a normal person, but the look was menacing to you.Â
You point an accusing finger at Blade. âWhy are you here? Didnât you go somewhere with Kafka after our encounter at the Xianzhou Loufu?!â You demand, taking a step back.
Blade blinks at you. âWhat do you mean? Am I not allowed to check up on you?â Blade asks, raising an eyebrow at you.
You snort and lean against the door, glaring at the long, dark-haired man behind Luocha and Jing Yuan. âThatâs rich coming from someone that cut my neck the other day!â You say, pointing at the bandaid on your neck.
Jing Yuan and Luocha slowly turn to look at Blade. Their demeanors shift suddenly, and the temperature in the area seems to drop. Blade frowns and ignores the glares Luocha, and Jing Yuan are giving him.
Blade sighs. âI didnât mean to cut your neck, alright? I didnât think the edge of the sword would be that sharp,â Blade mutters.
You grumble and shift on one foot, looking at the ground. âYeah, well, Iâm doing fine now. I appreciate you three checking up on me, really. Even though you all didnât need to do that.â you say.
Jing Yuan chuckles. âWell, when it comes to you, weâre willing to drop everything weâre doing to make sure youâre safe,â says Jing Yuan, giving you a closed-eye smile.
âNow that we have checked up on you, I think we should leave you alone to rest now,â Luocha says, smiling at you.
You give Luocha a smile in return and bid the three men goodbye before closing the door. You walk to your bed and collapse on it, closing your eyes. When you open your eyes, youâre back in the void, standing before Nanook. Nanook lets you stand on his hand and lifts you to his eyes, caressing your cheek with his index finger.
âMy beautiful, shining star. We will meet soon,â Nanook murmurs.
You place your hands over Nanookâs finger, leaning into his touch. âWhat do you mean by shining star? Blade and Kafka called me a fallen star. Is there a correlation between the two?â you ask.
âThat, I cannot tell you, my shining star. You will know soon enough,â replies Nanook.
The void around you fades away, and you wake up to see people surrounding you. You blink at them and sit up, but Dan Heng pushes you back down on the bed. You look at Dan Heng and the others with a questioning look. Your moment with Nanook was cut so suddenly. Did something happen?
You rub your eyes. âWhat happened? Why is everyone in my room?â You ask.
Himeko sighs in relief, smiling at you. âWeâre just glad youâre okay, thatâs all,â says Himeko
You stare at Himeko and the others quizzically. âThen, does that mean I can continue my sleep?â You ask.
Marchâs eyes widen, and she looks at the others with panic. âUh, yes! But youâve been sleeping so much today! Do you want to walk around the Astral Express with us? You know, for fresh air and maybe get something to eat after?â March asks.Â
You shrug, rolling off the bed and stretching your arms in the air. âYeah, sure, why not? I donât think I had anything to eat today, so I might as well walk around the Astral Express and get something to eat after.â
March grins and grabs you by your wrist before pulling you out of your room with the others following behind. Youâre not sure if you want to know what happened before you woke up, but everyone in the room looks⊠shaken up, if thatâs the right way to describe it.
Note: Not gonna lie, I kind of like how this fic turned out. The starting "chapter" of the new series is completely different from how I started the Genshin Impact Isekai fic. I have way too many ideas for Honkai Star Rail, and I'm excited to post more for Honkai Star Rail along with the Genshin fics. I might make a more organized masterlist for all of my fics, but I'm not sure when I'll do that đ€ To my new and/or returning readers, please keep in mind that I ONLY post on my Tumblr (Genshinluvr) and my AO3 (Aaliah_exo)! Nowhere else except Tumblr and AO3!
Read more of my works on my Masterlist | Maybe support me by tipping me on Ko-Fi or by reblogging my fanfics! ^^ I will also be posting exclusive fanfics on Ko-Fi as well very soon! I might post all of my stories on there too, but who knows. You can also tip me on Tumblr if you'd like as a way to show support! ^^

Contents: Veritas Ratio x GN! Reader, fluff, Owltio!
Words: 2465
âQuit your back talkingâ you scold, voice sharp as you whip around to glare at the bird on the table. Poised even in this fragile form, the big owl straightened its back, standing a little taller and letting out an accusatory âwhoooâ at you. Despite the mild irritation you felt, from almost hearing all he had to say in your mind in human tongue from his irritation of being turned into this, you couldnât help the way your face crumbled into a grin. Lifting a hand to rub the bridge of your nose, you take a moment to simply breathe and bask in the irony of the situation you find yourself in. Cackling you shook your head, trying to hide your amusement behind your hand, but the sound already reached the birdâs ears and he was already sauntering over to the edge of the desk as if to scold you for ânot taking this seriously enoughâ.Â
More coos came from him as you offered no response, but this time much less sharp but more defeated as his big wings stood half outstretched - itâs not everyday one gets turned into an animal, and Veritas was certainly not adapting swiftly to the clumsy yet deadly feet of this avian. His walk was awkward as he shuffled across the desk, his feathery back now turned to you as he looked for something.
Audibly letting out a soft âawhâ, you approach the desk again, muttering an apology to him. Your words are met with his head spinning around to look at you 180 degrees, cartoonishly funny and beyond amusing. âIâm sorry alright.. No need to go sulking about. Doubt youâd be able to do much like this anyway, and goodness knows Iâd burn in hell if I just left you- leaving you like this'' you cackle a little as you reach out to rub the top of his head. He ducks away, so you leave him be. âI will help you out, okay? Weâre in this together, but youâll have to be a little more cooperative with me, Veritasâ
He looks at you, clicking his little beak as he swishes his way to another corner of the desk, flapping his wings, and only then do you realize just how hot it was in the room, a warm breath of air making the layers of clothes stick to you like second skin. It must be no better for him with all those feathers. âLucky you, Iâm off work for the rest of the day. How about we get you a bath, hm?â
Just like before, the owlâs head turned around, but this time its big eyes looked at you in a way they appeared to praise you for such a fantastic idea. Ever the person to not ask for help, had you not asked, the owl would have stayed here to swelter in the heat. âYou like that, hm?â you coo at him, unable to hold back the mirth you found in the way he behaved - it is still a mystery for how long heâll stay in this form, so itâs best to enjoy every moment while you could.
âSometimes I wonder if you love those baths more than you even love meâ you say out loud, holding your arm outstretched so the big bird can hop onto your forearm, you see itâs feathery ears perking, and another angry 'hooooo' went flying out from him, his chest puffing out in defense, scolding you for even posing such a stupid statement while he canât verbally refute it. Sure, the doctor never directly spoke of his affections for you, but it should be without a doubt he favors you in more ways than one, and he definitely loves you more than his baths.
Nonetheless, you respond to his noise with a small smile as you carry him to the bathroom, a low hum coming forth from your throat as the silence due to the absence of his voice feels odd. You never realized before how much his voice filled your every day, specifically at home, although the silence between the two of you as you relaxed or went about your own thing wasnât rare either.Â
As the water began to fill the tub, Veritas found his purchase on one edge, watching as the water swirled inside, cool and radiating, tempting him to simply hop in right away. Not wanting to risk him drowning, you stopped the water from filling the tub whole, leaving enough water for him to sit comfortably in. âYou need help getting in?â you asked as you looked at the big owl who, without a word(well, sound), hopped into the water, big wings spreading across as much as the tub would allow them to go. Water engulfed him from all sides as he splashed and dove his head swiftly underneath the water before coming up to shake the water off his face. Chuckling, you crouched down and rested your arms on the edge, one arm extending lower so the fingers could touch the water and flick some water on your beloved lover-turned-bird.
âWHOOâ he says, a light gurgle in his howl as water splashed into his beak, prompting him to give a fast shake of his head. Now soaked and finally cool, he let his wings simply hang in the water with only his head bobbing on the waterâs surface. It was like a purr, his next sound, a soft little âhuuuuâ as he let his big eyes fall shut as the coolness licked up his feathers.
âI suppose this will have to become the new routine, until we can get you to turn back, that isâ you comment as you look around for that one thing you never saw Ratioâs bath go without. The little duck floatie wasnât too far off, standing on one of the shelves beside the bathtub, watching over the precious bathtub like a little guard before you retrieved it to sit beside Veritas. He looked at the duckie, which looked much bigger than he remembered, then up at you, then back at the duckieâs googly eyes. A sigh followed as the bird went back to cleaning himself off, his tail flicking back and forth, spraying water at you.Â
Holding up your hand over your face in a frail attempt to shield yourself didnât deter Veritas from subtly (but not so subtly) trying to splash you with the cool water. From the flap of his wings and down to the swish of his big tail, the water came flying at you. You laugh after the initial splash hits you, in disbelief at his action but no less happy to see it happen. And in retaliation, you cup your hand in the water and splash him back. âDonât spray your water at me, you reek, you big bird!â you tease, earning a rather alarmed look from the bird before he dove down under the surface, fluffing his feathers as he came onto the surface to ruffle them. He yelled at you, bopping over to where you were and nudged at your hand.Â
âYou want me to wash you?â you guessed, and you guessed right as the next cry was more urgent as he extended one clawed leg up to grab around your fingers and draw you in. âOh, yes, we canât have you stinking up the place, no sir. If we do, then whoâs to say we wonât have someone knocking on our doors to ask about the smellâ you keep up your playful demeanor, fully knowing you will earn another earful from Veritas once his beak is turned back to human mouth. You giggle nonetheless, reaching your hand to begin and rub into his feathers. âI should go get you some bird-safe soap too, I donât want to risk it with the soap we haveâ You tell him, and he seems understanding enough, a soft coo meeting your ears as a reply.
So many thoughts swirled in your head as you thought of the way you carefully had to handle his wings and the ways to help him turn back to his normal self. Ideas fell short from reality, sending you back to square one. Bringing this situation up to some of the higher ups at the Intelligentsia Guild seemed as the most plausible idea, while simultaneously being something that would most likely earn dislike from your lover here. While you took time to think of possible ways to help him, you could only hope that prolonged transformation like this had no dire side effects.
Three days flew by quickly. Books piled up on your desk and around the house, and the Guild has provided quite some solutions to your little problem - they were eager to get the genius back in their midst, but you only wanted to get Veritas out of this form.Â
The weird food concoctions you had to feed the poor man(bird) made you feel sick, but he took it like a champion, only sighing, inhaling and then eating the food. Sometimes heâd fly around the rooms to get his exercise in, or to distract himself from the horrid tasting food; sometimes heâd wait for you around the kitchen to give him a sweeter tasting thing to cleanse his pallet, and other times heâd simply nap. You found out he slept a lot during the day, reminding you of cats. Your own sleeping schedule had gone to ruins and that was no fault of his - you simply wanted to help him where you could and spend time with him, entertaining him or feeding him.Â
Yet, you couldnât deny that the poor sleep has quickly caught up to you as you stifle another yawn. Now it was your time to relax in the bath, and the water did wonders to your muscles and mind alike. Suds slid down your neck and dipped back into the water as you sat down the scrubby sponge down aside in favor of resting, submerged up to the chin in the bubbly water.
No wonder he liked baths so much, you think, mind blanking otherwise. A distant flutter barely made your mind perk, until the small clink of claws on the bathâs edge had you flinching.Â
âVeritas!- Didnât I say that you should at least chirp if you fly towards meâ With a small sigh you relax again. For all his big wings, he still flew as silently as the breath of the breeze. Youâd never get used to it. âDo you need anything, I'm afraid I can't help you right away, Iâm a bit busy nowâ you mutter, your lower lip touching the water before you tilt your head up at him. His owlish eyes looked at the water, then at you, before he performed a small hop, landing on your knees that barely touched the surface of the water. âWant to join me, huh..? You know, you really shouldnât, this isnât that bird shampoo I bought for youâ Veritas puffs his feathers in defiance, noting how the water was now deep, but with you a breath away, he let himself fall in. The suds rising and sticking to his feathers. He cooed and squawked, flapping his wings and splashing the water.Â
You quickly dipped your hands underneath, finding his clawed feet and offering him purchase so he doesnât struggle, even if his big wings did a great job at keeping him afloat. There could never be a lack of caution,Â
âRatiooooâ you whined, frowning and preparing to give him an earful before the weight in your hands grew tenfold, a sudden flicker and a flash of light blinding you to what actually happened in that fragment of a moment. Gasping you felt some water splash into your nose and mouth, the chemical taste of soap making your frown and hiss while the water being splashed over the floor alarmed you to no end.
âOw-!â you winced, pulling your hands back from underneath the weight. Coughing resonated in the room, and this time it didnât come from you.
âVeritas!?â Without even seeing him you recognized him, the mere sound of his coughs being enough to make your heart spring with mirth and a sense of triumph. You pushed back, the bathtub suddenly becoming too crowded, and looked up at him. Water dripped down his body, and before he could reply, his knee caught onto the slippery side of the tub, gravity pulling him down into the water and over you. Water splashed more, but you could only open your arms to catch him.
One had slipped underneath you, holding your upper back while the other held onto the edge of the tub to keep himself from falling any lower. He cleared his throat, blinking the water from his eyes. As you cheered his name and held him so closely, he couldnât help but feel embarrassed, his cheeks struggling to fight the blush from rising up to them. Despite the initial shock and a wave of frustration that the soapy water caused by irritating his eyes, he couldnât help but bask in the pure mirth you oozed. A childish joy that could stifle even his irritation - especially his.Â
âVERITAS!â You cheered, all fatigue leaving your body as you held him again, your fingers not meeting the feathers but smooth and wet skin of his muscled back. His wet hair stuck to his forehead and a few stray hairs poked at his eyelids until he pushed his hair back. His mind reeled at the sudden loss of his much lighter form, and far more complicated one. Although he yearned to be human again for all the time he spent in his owl form, now he found it weird to feel fingers at the ends of his arms again. But what he had missed the most was this hold around his shoulders.Â
âIT WORKED! Youâre back, finally!â Your voice rang in his ears, reminding him of the ugly taste on his tongue and the shame he felt when you brought him into the HQ of the Guild, him perched on your shoulder and standing taller than the others - as always.Â
âI told you- I-â he sputtered, but only groaned as words failed to form on his tongue. Has he gone mute from only cooing and howling? âPftt..â he chuckled, low and raspy as he pushed himself back, reeling you back with him to properly sit in the bath. He watched you lean back for only a few moments, your big smile forming the apples of your cheeks while your wet palm cupped his cheek. It made his breath hitch, and heâd be damned to admit, but he was sure his heart skipped a beat as well. Not wasting another moment, he pulled your back into his embrace, his face hidden away over your shoulder.
âYouâre enjoying this far too muchâ Veritas spoke, even as a smile stretched across his features.

Pairing: Blade x Fem!Reader
Content: soft cockwarming, minors/ageless blogs DO NOT INTERACT
A/N: wrote this for a friend like last year, so may not be that good like my new writing. Hope you enjoy this regardless!
ââ
Â·Ë àŒ âĄ Mellow sighs of the wind washed over your bare back while your chest was kept warm, pressed up against his own. His bandaged hand had rubbed up and down your back countless times in the last hour or so that you two decided to use for a more intimate reprieve. This would be the first mission the two of you were sent on that was just the two of you, and having completed the main objective and the overall mission, the two of you found that you had quite some time left to indulge in more selfish desires. It was that period of time where Blade was at the peak of pure exhaustion, barely standing atop his own feet as he rounded up the mission and concluded that the mission was over with and Elio's script was left empty until the next "play". You could see it in his eyes and the way his tone was like a rusted knife, yet none of its harshness was directed towards you.
Why would it? You are the only thing helping him live through this day, and the next, and the next after that. He had no way of thanking you for all of it, even if the reprieve of it all was always short lived. So he tries to remain in the moment of the current time, with you so warmly pressed up against him, his cock buried in your warm, welcoming cunt and his mind at an ease. He'd occasionally grind up against you, only to send a warm buzz of pleasure up both of you before going still again.
The static buzz of pain still remained in his mind but it was so distant and far away that he barely even took notice of it as he relished in the hands that brushed through his locks. His head was tilted back, neck supported by the cushions and pillows that made him feel warm for once. You have kissed his neck repeatedly over the span of the last hour, showering him in the soft and gentle kisses that he could drown in. His hand would cramp every now and then, causing his motions to halt and for him to wince - prompting you to ask each and every time whether he was okay. And he was, he told you that. His lashes fluttering open to greet you in the warmth they still managed to retain over the years of hell he survived in. Then after another moment heâd bring his hand up to your nape, bandaged fingers gently massaging before applying more pressure so youâd lean in closer, close until your lips could press softly against one another. The kiss lingers, and he repeats the motions languidly a few more times until he feels like your worries got quelled for the time being, and then his hand returns to your body, massaging your hip and sliding up and down your back in slow circles.Â
And when you'd buck against him he'd make it a point to keep you still, wishing, needing to hear you whine and plead and scold him to let you move to chase your high.
It was only a matter of time until he lost his senses and pounded you into the mattress.
