ik jon (character) is fanonized 2 b indian but my initial impression of him when i heard him was like umm this cant b the guy u people think is brown right because he sounds like an obnoxious white man. (and he is) and now i would like to channel that energy in my design of him but also i feel like im whitewashing him at this point. even though he isn't not white. and he is very likely white because he is written and voiced by a white man and is his self insert i think (?????) literally do any tma fans feel this. what are the thoughts on JON. how did we even get here

#HOW DID WE GET HERE!!!! i wanna know why the indian headcanon rolled so hard.#the magnus archives #original nonsense #not complaining but am interested. its nice having a main character of colour but its not even canon for him nor apparent in any #of his entire character. so does it even count ????!!!??? feel free to argue with or correct me etc...#in my brain he has a mullet and a random cute cardigan jacket because of a dream i had.#in that dream annabelle was there also she was very messed up looking. bit freaky innit.#there is this one post i read abt how no one (?) in tma is written to be anything other than white and headcanoning characters #can get sticky if you are doing it based on unconcious biases i think. i dont remember it exactly.
