CLEO HATED THESE DAMN CRIMINALS. She had no idea who the fuck these pricks thought they were, but their audacity seemed to be growing with every blinking moment, tenfold every day. Ironically -- she didn't consider herself a violent person. At least, she didn't used to. But it was times like now, after she'd watched these guys point a gun, snag some lady's purse and run off with it in front of her child, well...she hung her morals and personal teachings up on a shelf, and bolted after them on pure impulse.

It was a group of six, with a lot more gunpower than herself. Luckily for her, however, guns weren't what she was planning on using today. Instead, the leader let out a surprised gasp as some...rope-like thing wrapped around the entire group, and lifted them up to the rooftops above. Each one let out their own surprised scream, yelp, or other cartoonish sound effect as they were thrown into the a wall, and slammed into it a few times.

The " rope " fell, and the men all watched as it slithered back to the towering turtle, reeling back into her mouth like a tongue. Flexing her jaw a couple of times, Cleo huffed out a breath with a toothy grin.

" Ya'know -- y'all sure picked a SHIT NIGHT ta' do this stupid shit. Hell, when ah'm good an' through with ya, yer gonna be wishin' it was Nightwatcher here an' not me. Unfortunately fer you, he an' ah' don't share the same moral compass. "

Ignoring the one man throwing the purse at her, she approached, but a thud from behind caught her attention. She turned around, and her brow lifted at the sight of the city's metal-clad vigilante, right there in front of her...and the grin only grew.

" Well, well, if it ain't the big man himself. Speak a' the devil, ah' reckon -- y'here to help, or would you just like ta' watch ? Ah' got this one covered. " She spoke as if she were talking business with an old friend, rather than a complete stranger on a rooftop in the middle of Harlem at 2 in the morning.

"I know but I really want to get this done now so I won't have to worry about it anymore" I say, looking at all the boxes that we've had in here for the past few months.

"Can you at least take a break? Watching you run around this room all day is making me tired so I could only imagine how exhausted you are" he says, his eyes going wide when he see me try to pick up something a little heavier than I should be carrying and rushes to grab it.

"Everything would be finished sooner if you helped me out" I mumble and he rolls his eyes, placing the box where I wordlessly ask him to. "I've asked you if you wanted my help about four times today and you told me if I asked you again you would make me sleep on the couch for the next three day" he says, crossing his arms and cocking a brow at me.

I quite any comebacks I might've had and laugh awkwardly, "Right I uh, I forgot about that" I say sheepishly scratching the top of my head.

He walks over to me and cradles my face in his hands, placing a chased kiss on my lips, making me melt into him. "You wanna take a nap with me?" he whispers against my lips and I smile, nodding my head and holding out my hand so he can lead me to our room.

He helps me down since it's gotten harder and harder for me to do simple movements that I used to take for granted but he makes sure to take care of everything I need even when it comes to little things like this.

"Thank you Honey" I say and he leans down to give me a kiss before rounding the bed to get on his side.

Once he's laid down next to me I expect him to turn this little nap he offered into something else but he decides to lay his head on my chest and place a hand on my belly.

"What are you doing?" I giggle and he shushes me playfully. "Can't you see I'm trying to have a meeting with our baby?" he says and I don't take offense since I love it when he does this so I just run my fingers through his hair while he does as he pleases.

"You know Mommy has been working day and night to get your nursery ready right? That's why your cozy little place in there has been moving all over the place today" I laugh at his cute little daily update with them, it's always my favorite part of the day.

"I told her to take it easy but she won't listen to me" he whispers and I wack him lightly on the shoulder and he flinches as if I had hurt him.

"See, you feel that? I try to tell her to rest and take care of herself and this is the thanks I get? I think you've been giving Mommy too many hormones lately" he teases and I roll my eyes but go back to playing with his hair.

"Mommy keeps telling me that she thinks you're a boy but I think you're a girl. We wanted them to tell us at first but we thought it would be even more special if we found out when you got here" he says and I get even more excited, remembering our little promise to each other.

"Between you and me..." he says, lowering his voice a bit and I hold my breath so I can hear this next part. "I secretly hope you're a boy because I have a bet going with your aunt but don't tell Mommy" he whispers right against my tummy as if that would muffle his words enough.

"You guys made a bet?" I scold him, "I told you not to tell her!" he whispers, playfully scolding the baby in turn as if he wasn't the one that blew his own cover. "Well I wanted to show solidarity with you so I made a bet that we were having a boy but your sister is convinced we're having a girl".

"That logic doesn't even make sense" I say and he laughs as if it was completely logical. "Well this way I'll win either way" he says as if that explains everything, turning his head to now face me, practically smothering himself in my boobs since I'm carrying so high still but he's not complaining.

When he sees that my face is still scrunched up in confusion he sighs and explains himself. "Well if it's a girl then I'll have to pay your sister but I'll still be right since I really think she's gonna be a girl. But then on the other hand if it's a boy then I win the bet and get to support you and your intuition" he says as if his logic wasn't ridiculous.

"Whatever you say Daddy" I tease, leaving him with his face all scrunched up, trying to decide on what he's gonna do next.

"Nope" he says and turns his head back towards my bump. "What do you mean 'Nope'?" I ask, surprised that he's not taking the bait. "I've gotta get used to you calling me 'Daddy' in front of the baby now so I'm practicing self control" he says and I scoff in disbelief.

"I got her back for hitting me" he whispers back to the baby and I huff before trying to sit up. He moves faster than me and switches to hovering over me, keeping me there in protest. "Why are you leaving me?" he asks, clearly offended that I would even think about getting out of bed.

"You promised me a nap" I say and he laughs, "You can nap". "Not like this" I say, referring to not only what he was doing but also the position I was in. "Oh...right" he says and sits back, his head drooping.

"Plus I thought you meant...something else" I say and he chuckles before looking back up at me. "Oh so you wanted a spicy nap huh?" he says, teasing me with the ridiculous term he's coined.

"Why do you always have to call it that?" I whine, placing my hands over my face so I can hide my embarrassment. "Because I love watching the way you react to it" he says while hovering over me again, kissing my neck making me let out a shuddering breath but he stops as quickly as he starts and I scowl at him.

"What are you doing? I ask and he looks down at me with a teasing smile. "Didn't you say you wanted to get the nursery done today?" he points out and I huff, knowing that I should probably get back to that.

"We'll have more spicy time before bed" he reassures me and gets up so he can start helping me up as well. "You're no fun" I slouch and he caresses my face again, placing a kiss on my forehead.

"You gonna let me help you now?" he questions and I nod, dropping my resolve in wanting to accomplish it on my own.

"Come on, the sooner we finish it the sooner we can finish what we started" he says as he watches me walk out, checking me out before slapping my ass, making me yelp.

"What was that for?" I whine and he laughs and rubs the area as a fake excuse to comfort me when all he wants is to grab my ass. "That was for teasing me earlier" he smirks and I roll my eyes at him, "Come on let's just go" I say and I let him walk into the nursery first, slapping his ass as he does.

"Did you just...?" he says in disbelief and I smirk back getting exactly the reaction I wanted. "Yeah, so what? What are you gonna do about it?" I taunt and he chuckles walking up to me and places a hand on my belly.

"Just wait until we get this baby out of you Bunny" he taunts and my teasing nature dissipates, knowing exactly what he means.

He smiles at me, satisfied with my reaction and turns back to the nursery to assess what needs to be done while I'm left standing in the doorway, visions of what he might do to me flooding my mind and he call out to me to break me out of it.

"You gonna help me?" he asks and I clear my throat and shake my head. "On second thought I might actually need that nap you mentioned earlier" I say and he laughs.

"Okay Bun well go lay down and wait for me while I finish this up" he says and when I try to protest he cuts me off. "Bed" he finishes leaving me sighing and doing as he says but by the time he's finished with the project he took on in the nursery I'm already fast asleep.

He smiles and gets in bed, cuddling up next to me and leans down to quickly say a little hello to the baby and to tell them to let Mommy rest for a bit and then settles in behind me, spooning me and holding me close.

These are the moments I live for. Just our little family of three, cuddled up and in perfect harmony. "I love you" he whispers in my ear before he settles down for our very well deserved nap.

"Love you" I mumble having stirred awake a bit. He chuckles and places a kiss on my shoulder before slowing his breath in sync with mine and soon we're both fast asleep, dreaming about our little one.

HIEEE!!! How do you think the sakuverse characters would (hypothetically,) babysit a kid?

Hmm well I think the best babysitters would probably be Kayson or even Elias.

I imagine Andrew to babysit a small child by reading a book and sitting nearby while they play with toys. He keeps an eye on them and engaged with the child if they ask to play with him. Although he might not be the best at it and the kids might find him boring lol

Isaac would probably do the same but he'd be engaged with his work instead. If the child were to do anything they weren't supposed to he'd probably give that mom look "Dont." I think he'd be an okay babysitter. The child might just be a little intimidated by him and play quietly with his toys.

Kayson would be the most fun to hangout with. If the child is 6 or above he'd play some physical games with him. Like sports or even play wrestling with him. If they were younger get he'd just play with them with their toys and try to make them as happy and comfortable as possible ^^

Jonnah would definitely challenge an older kid to play some games with him. Or he'd make them watch while he played.

Xanthus would probably just spend the whole time scaring the poor child so the kid just says quiet lol.

Dontis would make the child comfortable in a soft bed with some snacks. He would either turn on a movie or tell them stories from his past! I think the kids would be most happy with him. If it's a small baby he'd cradle them until he falls asleep.

Asriel would be the most awkward one. He'd just don't know what to do. He'd just do his work and let the kid do thier own thing. If the kid wants something he'd call his servents over to help.

Elias would take the kid out if it's night but not too far. He'd tell them about stars and ramble about space stuff. The child might get bored and Elias would be a little disappointed but he'd take them back and play some video games with them!

Honestly, I've been stressed about work lately and worried about burning out, so taking this step back has been both voluntary and involuntary. Voluntary because it's been helpful to keep doing something I enjoy at a pace I set. Involuntary because I tend to withdraw when I'm stressed.

Ok so i know Raph is like, the gym king or whatever but if you ever briefly mention you would like to use it the one the boys have around the lair, he will "randomly"show up there, Raph will def tease him if he tries to help you out on a machine that you and Raph combined know way more than he ever could lmao. He does asks you if you would like to join him into his training sections at the dojo, he's way more comfortable in there and he swears is not as stinky as their gym after Raph uses it, really looks forward to the day you accept his invitation into teaching you some self defense moves here and there

Ok you didnt mention this like...he loves how you always reply REALLY FAST!! like at first he's taken back cuz? usually april or casey take a few good minutes even hours to respond, humans have their things to do on topside and he gets it you know? he's also relatively busy most days, so when he almost automatically gets a reply from you, Leo def got surprised on the first chats he had with you, he begins to love it how fast you can come back to him with texting, he doesnt have to worry if you are in danger after escorting you to your home, or when you are leaving college, work, yadda yadda, he knows its not extremely healthy to be on your phone 24/7 but when you are away from him, he loves it he can have almost imidiate contact with you

Over-all: Really chill relationship but still has some fire into it??? at the same time?? both of you just gets eachother, and he feels free to show his funny, daring, flirty / teasing self he almost NEVER shows to anyone, so lucky you!

After completing all of them I am so sorry but I just couldn't control myself and had to write that I really love and admired your writing style and way of describing things aswell as setting themes, I truly enjoyed each and every second I was spending reading that story and it was quite frankly the best one I've read so far!! The way you wrote about medical things as well as how you made the storyline progress, I am just a big fan🛐🤍 you know the whole story felt like a fresh breeze and your writing style gave it a home like feeling, I seriously can't get over the way you've marvelously written everything and precisely layed out each and every detail about everything and even the emotions. detrans as a kink is very different for everyone, but the basics of it is about detransitioning either yourself or someone else for sexual purposes. a lot of the time it’s merely fantasy though and stays in sexual encounters, but some people take it further and take some steps to detransition for the kink!

there are a lot of different reason for having the kink, for me personally it helps with dealing with my dysphoria (finding a way to embrace my more feminine features) as well as just playing into my cnc kink.

tags are really important my dear i use a lot of imagines tags and just basic ones aswell

i wouldn’t add sm-t tags to things that aren’t sm-t though, it makes the tags organization system tumblr has more messy and you don’t want to be a nuisance to people.

Digital Storytelling

Hello guys. Today our stop is digital storytelling. For our course project me and my friend @ashakalilnose worked together to create a demonstration video. It was really fun working on this project. We decided to choose doing a demonstration because we both are crafty people and thought it would be good if we made our video about it too.

We had a lot of opinions about what to demonstrate in our video and I thought we could show how to make a bird out of paper since I liked doing origami since I was little. We decided that I was gonna be in the video and Merve was gonna do the voiceover and we did the editing together. We used Imovie to edit.

We didn’t come across any challenges because we are used to working together on our projects and I think working with someone you know for a long time is easier compared to others.

Other than that I think creating a video really helps with your communication skills and it poses a great learning experience. I would like to use it in my future classes with my future students :)

(this anon again hieee) i could not agree more ab what u said about jj, it felt like every scene of his in s3 revolved around kiara. and it just feels like their actors just dont have that much chemistry, and i tried Really Hard to get behind jiara (bc my friend loves them) but like... it just doesn't work 😭.

atp the only reason i watch (mainly just rewatch s1 over and over) is nostalgia and bc the setting is very similar to my own (southern beach town slay)

also wish there was more jjpope content from s3, idrc ab ships that much, i just wish we got to see more of their dynamic

Annabeth had been expecting a reaction when the door to the Poseidon cabin opened, but she hadn’t expected complete and utter silence. Then again, Percy’s face pretty much said it all— his jaw had practically dropped when he caught sight of her.

“It’s awful,” Annabeth sighed, “Just go ahead and say it.”

“No,” Percy said, hurriedly, finally finding the sense to close his mouth, which had been gaping open like a fish, “No it’s not, it’s just— wow.”

“You don’t have to lie, I know how it looks,” Annabeth said. Her arms had already been folded over her chest, but she found them tightening, slightly. She’d been dreading this moment more than the actual haircut.

Which was saying something, because she’d been putting off the actual haircut for a while.

The Giant War had ended nearly two weeks ago, and her hair had been damaged beyond belief for longer. She hadn’t taken very good care of it while Percy was missing— she’d been in survival mode the entire time, and her hair was the last thing she was worried about. Then, of course, there was the quest and… well.

Trekking through the deepest pits of the underworld was really bad for your split ends, apparently.

Beyond the fire river and the poison air, something about being down there had just sucked the life out of her curls. The ends were damaged beyond repair. Some of them were even a little singed, and she couldn’t even remember how that had happened but she also wasn’t trying very hard to.

Annabeth had just been tying it back everyday, putting it in a bun or a scraggly ponytail and hoping nobody would notice. Unfortunately for her, her best friend was a daughter of Aphrodite. And while Piper wasn’t normally very into that type of thing, something about the absolutely atrocious state of Annabeth’s hair had triggered something baked deep into her DNA that required her to fix it.

It had taken a lot of convincing for Annabeth to agree to a haircut, but Piper had insisted it needed to be done. The fact that Piper used to cut her own hair did kind of help— choppy as it was, the unkempt look actually required more skill than one would expect. So that was how Annabeth had found herself in the Aphrodite cabin an hour previously, watching inch after inch of damaged hair fall away in a gaudy supermodel mirror as she tried her best not to cry.

Piper had done a good job, all things considered. She didn’t have a lot to work with, and Annabeth had told her to just do whatever she needed to. Still, it was short— shorter than Annabeth could ever remember having it, falling just below her chin.

Even Piper had only had a grim look of satisfaction when it was finished. It was functional— and not damaged, for the most part— and that would have to do.

But breaking the news to Percy was somehow the worst part of it all for Annabeth. She knew he liked her hair, like running his fingers through it and pushing it behind her ear and brushing it out of her eyes. Cutting it off felt like a betrayal somehow, like she was giving up, accepting defeat, like she’d let Tartarus ruin this one simple thing they’d had together after it had already taken so much else.

But the way Percy was looking at her now was… unexpected. She’d anticipated the surprise, but now that that had faded away, she wasn’t sure exactly what he was thinking. She’d thought he would do a bad job of pretending to like it— acting his heart out, of course, swearing he’d always liked it this way just to try and make her feel better— but instead he was just… looking.

She couldn’t quite read his expression, and something about it made her nervous. But she couldn’t find it in herself to speak, even if she desperately wanted him to.

“It looks really really good,” Percy said finally, reaching out and running his fingers through the short ends. He had a look of careful consideration on his face, like he was examining her curls the same way he would a complicated math problem, or a puzzle. “It’s different, but it's not bad.”

“Are you just saying that because you’re my boyfriend and you have to?” Annabeth asked. He smiled, twirling his finger around a lock of hair. He could actually do that again, because the one thing the lack of length had given her in return was a slight return of her natural texture. Piper had promised it would come back stronger with time, but Annabeth wasn’t holding her breath.

“No, I’m not,” he said, and it sounded sincere, at least, “I mean don’t get me wrong, I love your hair long, but it was a little… you know.”

“Burnt?” Annabeth supplied. Percy blushed a little, but he didn’t look away.

“Yeah,” he said, sheepish now, even as he forged on, “It looks a lot healthier like this. It makes you look healthier.”

“Are you saying I looked sickly?” Annabeth teased, though there wasn’t much bite behind it. She knew she looked sickly. Percy still looked a little sickly, and he’d bounced back physically much more quickly than she had.

“You know what I mean,” Percy said, unwilling to fall into her trap. Annabeth sighed, knowing he was right.

“Yeah, I do.”

“Hey,” he said, tilting her chin up just slightly, so she was looking him in the eye, “I’m proud of you. I know that wasn’t easy.”

“You’re proud of me for getting a haircut?” Annabeth asked, looking up at him reluctantly. He was smiling, because of course he was.

“Yes. Yes I am,” he said, pressing a kiss to her forehead, “And hey, it’s just hair, right? It’ll grow back eventually.”

“I guess,” Annabeth sighed, leaning into his touch, “But I have to look like this in the meantime.”

“You mean you have to look absolutely adorable in the meantime?” Percy said, grinning again.

Now this was what she’d been initially expecting, the unwillingness to admit that it was anything other than cute and perfect, but somehow it felt alright coming after the sincerity. He was right. It was going to grow back. And it wasn’t really so bad right now. She believed that he actually liked it, at least, and that made her feel a little better. A lot better, actually.

“Yeah,” Annabeth said, letting herself smile a little as she looked up at him, “I guess so.”
