LMAOOOO here here's a longer cabinet man section for your troubles, this time from the skybound portion bc of course i've written some of that HGJKDFHGKJ
Lloyd had ripped the gag out of their mouth, their skin already returning to it’s original state after having been white as a sheet. Green energy with flecks of gold were swirling in his arms, eyes wild and red as he growled, fangs bared. With a loud snap, Cole had broken the cuffs around his wrists, and didn’t hesitate to start bashing the heads of any pirate in his vicinity. Morro hadn’t even bothered taking off his restraints, instead launching himself forwards with the force of a Hurricane, wind knocking down enemies as he barreled towards Jay.
Jay started limping forwards, body lurching and then coming to a sudden halt as he was grabbed from behind. A thick arm had wrapped around his throat, and Jay choked as he was dragged backwards. Morro’s face changed in an instant, and he used the momentum from his initial charge to slam his foot into the ground, bouncing up and over Jay. Wind blew the messy curls of Jay’s face as he heard a thump and a CRACK, and the body holding him hostage went limp.
Morro caught Jay before he could follow the pirate to the ground. Jay breathed out a weak “Thank you,” gripping Morro’s arms as he shifted his weight so he wasn’t putting any pressure on his ruined leg.
“- what you did to Jay, fuckers!” Jay heard from behind him, and turned to see Nya, eyes a dark, angry blue as she kneed a pirate in the groin, then swung back and bashed another one’s nose with her elbow.
Jay grinned, feeling at home in the chaos, a spark igniting in his chest of a hope that had long since been squashed.
“C’mon,” Morro said, swinging one of Jay’s arms over his shoulder. Jay bit back a hiss, unable to tell which of his various wounds had been pulled from that action, as waves of pain and nausea were coursing through him. His tail wrapped around Morro’s leg. “We’ve gotta get out of here.”
