Day 17: Held Down/Restrained

TWs: Chasing, kidnapping, POW, the beginnings of torture, Philip Graves

Words: ~500

Summary: The Shadows grab Roach while they're looking for Los Vaqueros, Ghost, and Soap. Graves isn't happy to see him.

There's another WIP I have for the 17th that I may post later (on my nsfw sideblog @sideroachblog) involving roach tied to a table, price, and gaz 😳

Roach pushed himself off the ground in hopes of escape only for a steel-toe boot to bash the back of his skull. It sprawled him forward, arms out in front like some stupid looking Superman impression. Suddenly, his arms were twisted behind his back, and a burlap sack tugged over his head. They shoved a rag up the neck hole. Chloroform, probably, considering how he slowly lost the energy to kick and scream as someone threw him over their shoulder.

His consciousness waned as they loaded him in a van. The last thing he remembered was the door slamming.

The mission had been going well until he was separated from his team when an enemy grenade collapsed an alleyway between them. The Shadows caught up, surrounded him, stripped him of his weapons as his team promised help, then ripped his comm unit off. He broke away but not for long.

Roach woke sitting on the floor of a dark concrete cell in the with his arms tied around a pillar behind his back. His body ached; looking down, there were bruises and scrapes from the chase. They stripped him to his skivvies and undershirt. A killer headache split his brain with every heartbeat. One of his eyes had swollen shut. He let the other one fall closed. Drool dangled from his busted lip.

Someone wolf whistled. It brought him to attention. A metal door screeched open behind him and slammed, then Commander Philip Graves came sauntering info view.

“In a bit of trouble, aren’t you, son?” The man drawled.

Roach spat at his feet.

“Easy, now, tiger. I don’t want no trouble. Seems like my boys played a little rough; I’m sorry about that. I wasn’t expecting them to nab you, Sanderson. Was hoping they’d get one of those remaining Vack-way-rows.”

“You say that like a dumb Texan.”

Graves narrowed his eyes. “Help me help you,” he commanded, grabbing Roach’s jaw, gripping the Sergeant’s cheeks tight. “I’m happy to let you go; you’re a good soldier. You follow orders well. It’s what you’re doing now—I get that. I enjoyed working with you and it’s a shame our professional relationship ended the way it did. So, help me get you outta here by telling me where Parra, Riley, and MacTavish are.

“Otherwise, you’ll be thrown in with Colonel Vargas,” Graves sighed with a head shake. “You don’t want that. See, I have strict control over my men, but I’m focused on finding Hassan. They tend to run things like a zoo when I’m not around to… keep ‘em in line.”

“There’s only one double-crossing cunt in this room, Graves. I won’t tell you a damn thing. I don’t care what you do to me.”

“I’ll give you one last chance to play nice with me.”

“Choke on it.”

A heavy kick smashed Roach’s abdomen. He grunted and lurched at the impact. Graves gripped his hair with two fists to hold his head down, bringing a knee up to bash Roach’s forehead.

A headcanon where gn!civvy is a dimension traveler where 141 + Horangi + König + Los Vaqueros were not aware off and discovered it first hand when they met on random places, and not forgetting that the random things and skills that gn!civvy can do for them.

Ghost

First off, this man is beyond shocked that gn!civvy can open portals and go through them when he checked on them by walking in on their room and the two were having a "pro-longed eye contact" for ten minutes before he left without a word.

Discovered that the random things and skills such as cooking meals for everyone whenever they take over and getting him a new pair set of skeletal printed gloves were from their dimensional travels.

Had a hard time to say no when civvy wanted to take them on a vacation, you mean by vacation, you mean by yeeting both yourself and himself into the portal.

Promised to keep their secret from anyone but had told Soap about it, accidentally.

Gave them tea leaves for brewing their own tea.

Civvy gave him a lifetime supply of both tea and bourbon in return.

Terrified when civvy joined their mission armed with absolutely nothing but a hello kitty metal bat.

Soap

Heard it from Ghost and didn't believe him until he saw civvy coming out of the portal with a mythical bird sitting on their shoulder.

First to see they have been through a lot of dimensions during their free time and wanted to experience it.

Got scared when civvy joined on their mission on tracking down Graves and had a wolf (from another dimension) to track down the traitor and have given them leads so far.

Was given a bar of soap as a joke once.

Gave them a packet of detergent as well to return the joke.

Even got pranked when he walked into the living room by spiders and he let out a non so manly scream.

Gaz

Terrified to the bones when civvy track down Graves with a wolf.

Promising not to tell Laswell and Price but told them anyways.

Gave them a pistol for protection purposes.

Civvy gave them a crossbow with arrows in return.

Trusted civvy to hold down the fort when it comes to taking a break from missions.

Not surprised when civvy took the whole team to a dimensional travel trip with them as a guide to everything.

Price

Was told by Gaz about their power and told them about keeping it low.

Nearly going grey when they joined their mission armed with nothing but a metal bat and killed two or three shadows with it.

Had a mini heart attack when civvy showed up the tracking mission with a wolf to effectively track down Graves.

Wanting to keep them away from danger but danger seems to magnet towards them instead.

Gave them a tracking device on their shirt.

Civvy gave him a fisherman's hat in return.

Had no time to lecture them whenever they started to cause chaos.

König

Intimidated once by them when they returned back to base with 141 while carrying a headless corpse from one of the shadows.

Anxiety levels rises whenever they approached civvy.

Civvy, however, only noticed them while giving them a few things that can fit König's hand.

Gave them a pouch of berries once.

Civvy then gave them a small bag of edible berries from one of their travels.

Happy enough to accompany them when they get lonely.

Horangi

Tolerate them when he was given a task (by Price) to keep them from using their powers in public.

Never believe in such things once but regretted it when he scolded them on using their powers in public and civvy was pissed off and opened around ten to twenty portals at once.

Apologized numerous times afterwards and civvy calmed down but gave him a glare when he tried to scold them, lightly.

Gave them a korean recipe that had seaweeds on it.

Civvy gave him a tiger plushie in return.

Discovered that civvy smoked a stick whenever they feel stressed or out of the place and joined them for one.

Alejandro

Never complained on how or where they came from until civvy told them about their powers and explained everything on how or where they came from.

Believed that they also came from another dimension to which they told him and the group in truth as well.

Looking forward to how civvy can surprise him and the group about whatever chaos and things they come out of the portal.

Once terrified to the core when civvy came running out of the portal and into the battle field with nothing but a metal bat and screaming bloody murder.

Gave them a big shirt.

Civvy gave him a black turtleneck sweater in return.

Not even surprised one bit when they saw civvy running away from a pissed off Ghost.

Amused even when Ghost gave up half way catching on them.

Rodolfo

Believed that they were the ones who tampered with the dimension traveling theories before.

Confused when his shirts started decreasing and were missing until civvy came to the kitchen wearing one of them shirts.

Decided to give them a whole cabinet worth of his and the group's clothes in it.

Civvy gave him a new pair of socks in return.

Was horrified when civvy came back to base after the mission with 141 all bloody and smiling.

Asked 141 what happened and 141 told him and Alejandro what happened during the mission.
