SORRY THIS IS LATE AADJFSHJSKF i got this idea after seeing a similar idea (overarching comic covering a prompt week) by @/alciedoodles's serirei comic .... and when i figured out the idea the week was over =v= but at least i got this in by the late deadline!

extra under the cut:

mari first called hero her friend platonically, but eventually used it to hint that she likes him. hero is dense and didn't get it

hero wanted to confess at graduation but chickened out

hero pierced his ears + mari cut her hair bc of "heartbreak". they're so dramatic
