I FINALLY GOT THESE DONE HERE WE GO:

ACTOR AU SAGE!!!

Fun fact! Actor AU is currently the only WH AU to have a version of Sage instead of Rosemary! :D

Her intro stuff is really long, so I'll put it under the cut (AAAA IM SO EXCITED TO SHARE HER)!!

So, for the Actor AU, Sage actually isn't an actor at all! She's a singer and songwriter who has pretty recently (like, within the past year or two before meeting the WH cast, maybe?) become very popular. Sage's personality and music draw a lot of inspiration from AURORA and MALINDA -- songs that tend to have a lot of deeper meaning behind them. She's eccentric and honestly a bit weird, but she's most known for being open and honest about herself and her music, and for being very caring and sweet. She's able to immediately connect to people and help them see different points of view, which is part of why she's gotten so popular with both puppet and human audiences.

Wally, of course, doesn't really trust it, considering how he thinks and what he believes. He assumes she's probably just another attention-hungry diva, thinking they're the shit, using the whole "lets all be best buds!" schtick to sell out. So he doesn't really pay attention to her or what she does too much, besides taking note of her rising popularity.

That is, of course, until he meets her.

Due to Sage's rising popularity, the show executives decide to have her come on the show as a sort of guest star. Wally doesn't really like this, but they're able to negotiate him to at least try it out for an episode and they'll decide what to do after that. Wally reluctantly agrees, but he's not too optimistic about it. He's really just expecting another one of those "rising star" types, y'know? (Which, fair enough, when you consider what all he's probably had to deal with in his time, plus the fact that all he's probably ever seen or heard of her is in interviews, and he puts on an act well enough for his, so.)

I have a whole actual comic planned detailing this that I'll hopefully finish and get out soon (sitting and writing comics is hard when you have near-zero focus QwQ) but essentially he's outside, before filming for the first day of this, just to get air before having to go back in and start directing things and getting ready and she approaches him and just starts talking with him. And he has no idea who the fuck this is??? (Honest to god, he'll never admit it now but he thought she was an intern or something at first XD) But slowly he goes from just answering her shortly to actually participating in the conversation?? And not just a "how's the weather" sort of thing, but like. Actual deep conversation, about what he's doing out there and talking through a little bit of the stress and stuff. And eventually he kinda like, comes to and realizes he's been talking way too much about way too deep stuff and he's like "hold up who tf are you again?" Which is about the same time her manager (who has been named Savannah and she's also a sweetheart) comes out looking for her and before Sage heads in she fully introduces herself to him, and he's just. Stunned. Absolutely blown away.

Here he was, expecting some diva he'd have to give the shake down to, but instead he's met with just. A girl. An honest, strange, caring girl.

This continues throughout that week of filming, Sage subverting every expectation Wally previously had of her. The whole time he's just more and more startled by Sage and who she is. Her whole team is super sweet and she obviously has very deep trust in them, and jokes with them like friends. She treats his staff with utmost respect (which, admittedly, makes him act on his best behavior every time she's around. He doesn't wanna look bad in comparison XD). She seems to genuinely enjoy her time there and what she's doing. Even more than that, Sage honestly has a very poor filter, so she talks a lot about everything lol, but it can be good! Because this is how Wally learns about her drive to create and how much she genuinely wants to bring people together. He finds out that really, the two of them have very similar visions, just for different audiences. Later, he and the executives and director and stuff are all discussing if they wanna keep doing stuff with her and her team and he's just immediately like "Yes. Absolutely. She has a similar vision to me. We either keep doing stuff with her or I'm personally helping fund her, capiche?" and they're all like "👀Got it" XD

And then, of course, there's her music. Which, after that first day of filming, he searches up as much of as he can and listens to it. And is again absolutely blown away lmao (there's another little comic idea I have for this too hehehe but its much shorter than the other one)

And thus begins Wally's journey of self-improvement, led by Sage's example /j XDDDD

ANYWAY HRGHRGHRGHRHGR THATS ALL THE EXPOSITION IMMA GIVE HERE CAUSE THATS A LOT AND THERE'S STILL A TON MORE STORY IN MY BRAIN BUT AUUUGGGHHH I'M SO NORMAL ABOUT THIS AU (also Frills, I have no idea what spell you've put on me with this thing but I have never made such cinematic art before O-O don't stop XD)

💚- literally the way the fandom as a whole characterize danny. considering the fact that apparently 70% of the ppl in the tag have not actually watched the show (this kills the me. every time i think about it), nobody actually knows What The Main Character Is Like . hes supposed to be an awkward quippy annoying 14 yr old boy. of course hes gonna say and do stupid shit!!! hes not some capable noble hero who always does the right thing and is nice to everyone. hes a kid who has a big heart with a crippling sense of responsibility. head in hands

💔- this might be cheating bc hes only a minor character and existed for exactly one (1) episode but.. fucking Gregor. i haaated double cross my heart that episode sucks so bad. lets just. remove the whole thing. also its really funny i had to google his name because i just kept thinking of grefgore (<< npc from the jrwi vampire campagin who is my angel the light of my life). would the fandom kill me if i said wes weston. hes not even a real guy it wouldnt matter if he was removed.

EDIT I JUST REALIZED THE PROMPT LITERALLY SAYS MAJOR CHARACTER. FUCK. uhhhhhhhh idfk. i guess if i HAD 2 pick. maybe clockwork? as much as i fucking love clockwork he was not utilized enough. he couldve been such a cool mentor character working in tandem with frostbite in season 3 and he just. wasnt. god hes so cool i wish they wouldve done more with him. but also if he didnt exist neither would my favorite ever episode. i'm in loveeeee with mad will re: mike shaving, and especially crossing his arms and saying 'IM SERIOUS' while mike tries to pull him towards him and kiss him, finding it soooo cute

but also seeing as we see a mad mike who storms off in the show a lot, like the rink o mania fight. i feel like its totally in character for him to do this to will sometime. so what would be the scenario where will does something to do his body/hair/clothes and mike gets grumpy and sulks? hehehehee

This is so interesting and it kinda stumped me for a little while I'll admit, to get the creativity flowing (sometimes the sappiness overwhelms and it's giving a very bland 'noooo they like everything about each other' vibe and then I have to backtrack and bask in how fun these two are when they bicker as well heehee). Refresher since this one is old - question spawned from a scenario of Will getting mad at Mike when Mike randomly decides to shave off his own pubes 🤭🤭🤭 - So, what might Will do that irritates or shocks Mikes. Hmm

Tough to say, because I HC Will as more meticulous with his appearance while Mike is very casual so it's not like he's gonna have as strong opinions on very specific particulars? Maybe early on he finds it odd if Will wants to experiment with stuff like shaving/waxing his chest, maybe initially Mike thinks that's so odd? The waxing especially he's like "why would you put yourself through that?" But over time it's just another thing. I also have this whole scenario in my "staying at the Wheelers" fic about when they get together, sharing Mike's bed every night, he kind of has to coax Will to wear less to bed. Because young Will does not have that confidence yet, he's not our flirty, sometimes a little slutty, Will of future/older Byler scenarios after Mike gets him to embrace less is more in wearing things to bed and be freeee. So, I think the classic clearly, nothing's happening tonight vibe Mike gets when they're older and established and Will comes to bed in full flannel pajamas. Not that he's not cute in them, but sex is definitely off the table that night. Message received. Sometimes it be that way, can't be every night, let him resttttt haha.

OH wait hahaha total silly crack scenario. It's the 90s which we know are fun but TACKY. Maybe one of Will's friends convinces him to get a spray tan because that seems like it was a thing then and oh god, Mike just. Hates it. Hahaha. It's just uncanny wrong coloring for Will and Will's regretful and Mike just. He can't resist poking fun a bit, he's not into it. And Will isn't either and he's also mad and pouty too! Leave him alone! Just gotta wait for it to fade now my guy... Any one else with other suggestions for this ask? I struggled but I tend to want to lean more toward light or humor for this, because they really do love everything about each other's looks really, and a genuine critique about appearance makes me sad! But life has silly little funny moments, too! I think they'd maybe take a dig at a questionable fashion choice here or there, I personally know that life! Their bickering and arguments and annoyances are more about both of them having that sarcastic, stubborn tendencies...

vr chat is fun and i can still be silly even when im not with my sister. but my 'alone silly' is probably different from when im with my sister.

idiot 1 needs to play with idiot 2 some more because idiot 2's full potential can only be unlocked when idiot 1 is around. because idiot 2 has social anxiety and cant be as funny with other people (not that i have any other vr chat frens except idiot 1)

the effort i went through to get this tho. i gots good reaction times, but with my unsteady hands paired with the panic of "i really dont want to forget what im doing but i keep forgetting how to pull up the mirror because of the short time limit caused by the monster chase and then i will have to find it again"
