finishing statement i can’t get attached to fictional characters if i don’t hate them at least somewhat
#rigg adam perez lawrence etc i like them all so much but i cannot find any real hate in my heart for them#lawrence is a toss up in the sense that i only REALLY like him as an apprentice because he’s a smarmy pseudo-cult leader#through and through grey characters just eat at my brain a certain way#<- guy who had a crush on kovu and his siblings from lion king 2 as a child#r#this also probably why nny has inhabited my brain for so long#HE is simultaneously the pinnacle of cruelty and yet the most longstanding sympathetic character in the comic#if you look at him past the age of 16 you know you should hate him and you do but you still sympathize and understand his motives
