OK, what i would write to go with the title “north country blues” issss a oneshot about bob & johnny cash, specifically early 1969 when they did their nashville sessions.

it would probably be like an exploring their relationship kind of thing, them recording together & messing around with the idea of a collaborative album (one that i am so mad never came to fruition grrrrr) and johnny becoming more acquainted with bob’s life/new life after the accident (which bob will still dodge questions and lie about lol) :)) i love fics of exploring bob’s relationships with the musicians he worked with and johnny was such an underrated one imo
