Is that- oh shit it is, isn’t it? Alfred’s not exactly sure why Myungdae insists on keeping out of sight of this guy ( wow he’s looks so bitter, like black coffee, no milk or sugar added in- ), but he always freaks out whenever the guy’s in close proximity so the only option right now is- Alfred slams an arm front of the doorway, blocking the newcomer’s way in.  “Sorry dude.” He smiles as if he were greeting a customer coming in. “Can’t let you through. Why don’t you come back later, get some Burger KING in the meanwhile?”

as he lingered by the bridge, two thoughts ran through calum’s mind that faithful day:

1. the water was shimmering beneath the moon. 2. he was going to see her again. his wife.

his hands gripped the railing tighter. this was it, wasn’t it? a breeze flew past him. he closed his eyes and for a moment, he swore he could hear her voice. she was so close, she was in the water, and he needed to get closer-

a phone rang behind him. he turned around- it’s man on his cell phone:

“hey sweetie- dad’s going to be home soon. you and mom sit tight, okay?”

and his stomach dropped.

erza. where’s erza? has he eaten? what happened to him, when was the last time calum had spoken to them- calum took a step back, fingers grasping at his hair. the locks are greasy, like he hasn’t washed them in weeks.

dear god, what the hell was he doing? he gritted his teeth and without another thought, he turned away from the railing and ran off to find his child.

or at least that’s what he last remembered before something big, scary, and dangerous jumped him. and as he laid on the concrete with his shoulder bleeding and aching, he saw the moon rise.

( tldr; the lowest point of calum’s life also happens to be the night when his entire life changed. on his way back to his child, calum is attacked by a rogue werewolf and is subsequently turned into a werewolf. )

tidbits that didn’t make it in:

lives separately from his pack, BUT the pack often uses his place as a meeting spot. he got adopted in along with his child pretty early on. you could say he has a...found family of sorts there.

the motherhen/medic of the pack. if you’re part of it, he’ll nag you and seriously no one wants a nagging friend jfslkdjf

hates turning. literally, he wishes he were a human/could be a human again.

is even more paranoid about erza’s safety, especially considering that erza can see and sense spirits, ghosts, and the supernatural.

just gonna chime in and say i personally love that you chose freddie as your fc, i think it's a really unique choice and a fresh take on the character. it's also nice to see an underused face in the community too ✌️
