Gaz is obviously really nice and sweet and lovely but he also does give me the vibe of someone who like, if you were with a group of people jumping off somewhere high into water and you were scared and hesitating he'd absolutely delight in shoving you in. Like you come up later yelling at him and he goes 'i was just trying to help you!!! I'm sorry :(!!!' but he's not. He will take more opportunities to scare the shit out of you just to hear you squeal. The sooner you catch on the sooner you can put a stop to it because he doesn't want you to think he's mean or anything... He's not, but he's just the slightest bit of a sadist.

beginning but not established keirthur in blessed are the peacemakers. kieran sneaking into arthur's tent and inching his way onto the cot to cuddle because he was so sure arthur wasn't coming back and just needs to hold him to convince himself that arthur really is going to be okay. arthur just taking a deep breath and actually being able to make real the fact he's safe and home with kieran's arms around him,,,

obviously kieran has been making himself scarce since it became clear the o'driscolls were the cause of all this, he doesn't need anyone else on his back about all this. it's a tender balance between showing concern, but not too much concern. it would be bad if dutch thought kieran was there to finish the job, and maybe worse if he knew the two of them were in bed together, but he NEEDS to see arthur.

they're both glad, cause arthur needs to see him just as much. in his feverish state, slipping in and out of delusions, he thinks for a moment that he's back in the basement and kieran is here with him for whatever reason, maybe colm knew somehow and thought kieran being there would make arthur talk, or even worse, maybe kieran came to find him and is tangled up in this. but he's brought back immediately by the sun peeking through the flaps of the tent. right, he's back home. the basement is far behind, he's home.

he can't really reach out or scoot over properly, and there's no way this cot will hold two people, but he squishes himself to the side anyway when kieran sits down, just so kieran's head and arms fit even closer to him. it takes a lot of adjusting and fidgeting, and it goes slowly, but eventually they're tangled together in a somewhat comfortable way. the awkwardness of the position isn't even really a problem, though, what makes it comfortable is the reality of the two of them being safe, and together, in each others arms.

Your expectations are ones you can barely meet. You compare yourself to others, but with a hypocritical light. You'll never find what you're looking for if you're laying down half of what you receive. It stings to be given less than expectations you've set, but if they were more reasonable, do you think even then you'd be happy?

-`. YEARNING.

The pain in your chest bubbles knowing that what you want may never be yours. You're lost in a fantasy world, or consumed by what you wish you were or had as opposed to what you do. It's hard to appreciate what's around you when you're appreciating the hope of what could be instead.

-`. THE GIVER.

Your energy depletes as you hand it out to anyone passing by your basket. People walk by and take, but no one ever leaves. You're constantly running on low when people keep asking you to give. You'd give your soul away for free, and then what left do you have of yourself if you can't say no?

-`. LONELINESS.

Your heart feels full of the connection you feel you lack. No matter how many people are around you, strangers or not….someone is missing. You don't know who, what, or if you'll ever find them. You're unsure if there's a person out there who'll really satisfy your life, so really what's the point of continuing to look?

I loved his and kundavai's story and lemme tell you that one scene wasn't enough. IT WASNT ENOUGH MY HEART WANTS MORE (they are the reason why I read the novels in first place😭)

Absolutely love how he remembered and thought of kundavai randomly out of nowhere throughout the five parts. The scene when he meets and flirts with nandini,, guys he was thinking of his dear princess ❤️😭 gonna cry about the absolute loyalty displayed by him after chhoti si first/second meet brb

No you don't understand how much I love this agent of chaos.

He's isnt like the ones who constantly want to throw themselves in danger, chest thumping or brooding intelligent depressed idiots. Instead he knows how to live and he knows that undertaking missions like getting ps back to the empire are strenuous.

The confidence in his ability never makes him annoying, it gives him a clear view of life and world.

He doesn't want to embark on missions like this but he'll gladly do so because kundavai asks him to.

And we cannot ignore his equation with nambi 😬😬

sometimes when my babies are doing something stupid but not Extremely Dangerous and they haven’t listened when I tell them to stop, then I will say, for example, “hey Re-re, please stop leaning your chair back. If you fall then I will not help you up, I am just going to laugh at you.” And today I did that (said girl fell out of her chair) and she looks at me with her big puppy dog eyes and I start laughing very fakely at first and then she started glaring at me and saying “not nice!” And so I started laughing for real. It was really funny

Okay I feel very silly rn because I keep thinking about Cousin's Cute Friend and I am literally squishing my face into my cat plushie (that my cousin bought for me btw <3) and trying not to scream.
