hm. i guess its hard because everything in my life for like years has been touched by wilbur, even in ways he wasnt directly involved in. i started watching him when i was 15 and he got me through the worst times of my life/the most suicidal years. id gotten fresh out of being groomed and a two year abusive relationship when i stumbled onto the dsmp and almost immediately i latched onto crimeboys. it was a ray of… well i wouldnt say hope or light but god i projected so hard onto both of them. i saw my little brother and myself as my brother and i. his september playing guitar video would be on loop on my phone for hours. i emulated him- both as a system w dozens of wilbur introjects and as a person. i picked up one of my favorite bands (los campesinos!) from him. i put a l’manberg flag up on my wall and i wrote shitty poetry. i have a faded wilbur ylyl shirt and it has weird shit on it and the whales are faded and it smells odd but it was one of my favorite shirts and i would wear it for comfort and. i picked up a british accent from him when i get tired. i bought round pink tinted glasses to look like him. i picked up how i dress from him. i picked up his speech mannerisms and quotes and i made him my transition goal until it was hard to see where i ended and wilbur began. ive been putting off removing all the songs from my playlists and likes because i dont want to look at them but today mine/yours came on shuffle while i was drivingband i genuinely got so nauseous i had to swerve to skip it. ive been doom scrolling and contemplating whether techno knew or not or if he would never know or god forbid. he was okay with it and idk. really sad that the man that saved my life is a piece of shit. especially since last year i was in a really bad relationship with a guy and i noticed some similarities between. the situations and god i feel so awful for making this about myself when he did AWFUL things to shubble. i just hope all the women can get peace but its like 2:30 am and all i can think abt is. god. what a waste of time

its a shame how ryoko kui managed to make a series with such a realistic portrayal of sistemic and internalized racism only for people to have it fly over their heads and go 'x character is racist!! how dare you like them!!!' when like. literally every single character has said something racist. your blorbo is racist. my blorbo is racist.
marcille hates orcs. kabru has dehumanized kobolds. mithrun said a slur. laios and falin treat mountain people like savages. analyse these traits meaningfully or perish

What is it about Orym that makes a certain subsection of the fandom lose their goddamn minds! The Wildmother is not manipulating him by showing him his dead husband like lads (gender neutral) cop the fuck on

Natlan Brazilian dishes
Tumblr media
This one is Acarajé/Akara, an Afro-Brazilian dish made using ingredients such as beans, shrimp and onions.
Acarajé is sacred to the Candomblé/Yoruba religions, people offer them as a ritual to Orixás, such as Xangô and Iansã. People from these religions believe that Acarajé has the power to strengthen the spirit and body.
Tumblr media
Acarajé was brought to Brazil by African slaves during colonization, and they can now be found in the state of Bahia, in the Northeast of Brazil.
They're sold by women who are usually called as "Baiana do Acarajé". Both the Baianas and Acarajé are considered to be strong cultural material of Bahia, the capital of the state, Salvador, is known as one of the cities with the largest amount of black people in Brazil.

This one is a brigadeiro, a very traditional Brazilian sweet that you can find anywhere in the country, it's made using chocolate, butter and condensed milk, you cook it in the stove and then after some time roll them into some small chocolate balls.
Tumblr media
Brigadeiro was originally made for a election campaign for Eduardo Gomes, a Brazilian soldier with the military title of "Brigadeiro". A group of women from SĂŁo Paulo selled these small treats to gather money and also votes for Eduardo Gomes. It was originally called as "docinho do brigadeiro" but it got so popular that it's only called brigadeiro now.
Xilonen who's a character with Brazilian references has her signature dish as a chocolate using the brigadeiro recipe, but it doesn't look like brigadeiros. Still, it's worth mentioning.

This is a pamonha, it's a dish made using corn, there's a salty version made using salt fillings with meat and cheese, and a sweet version using milk, sugar and cinnamon. Pamonha is a food with indigenous origins, and because of that, some other countries in Latin America have similar types of the same dish but with different ways of preparing it. The name Pamonha comes from "pa'muñã", a word from the indigenous language Tupi.
Tumblr media
I'm not that sure about this one, but from the ingredients used to cook it, some Brazilians believe it's supposed to be a mungunzá.
Mungunzá is a sweet made using corn, milk, sugar and cinnamon and the recipe to cook the "Fascinating soup" are very similar, still if it really is the same thing, I don't understand how genshin made Mungunzá turn into a potion of some sort...
Tumblr media
This is how a Mungunzá looks like, it's also called different ways in Brazil, some people call it Canjica but Canjica in the Northeast is comething entirely different so I'll stick to the name Mungunzá instead.

honestly the funniest thing about maintagged character hate is that 99% of people engaging in it talk like toddlers. they are all a hair's breadth away from calling the pretend guy they don't like a big dumb mean doodoo head.

Biggest pet peeve is when someone says jimmy needs to be portrayed as a pathetic wet cat and not too badass or whatever. Like do u guys know the wet cat behavior is a bit sometimes. Do you guys know he's played into before and will do so again. Do you guys know jimmy has his competent moments and really well roleplayed ones and that's he's not just stupid and bullied and little wet cat all the time. Do we even watch the same damn youtuber
He can be both wet cat and badass and competent. People just don't see the badass moments because theyre probably buried under the "jimmy is only sad bullied wet cat" belief

I know like 90% of the RtC fandom headcanons Mischa as bisexual, but hear me out: What if he were pansexual?
He was very, deeply in love with Talia. She was the only one to give him positive feedback on his music, she cared a lot about him too. But I’m saying he fell for her because of how much she cared. It wouldn’t have mattered to him whether she was a woman or not. He obviously thought she was very beautiful, but I think it was the personality he fell for first. I think he’s just like that, gender doesn’t matter to him
