No words could express how happy you were seeing your beloved in good spirits.

He used to be troubled, stubborn and hard on himself, but nowadays his mind was at peace and he appeared to be more easygoing than usual.

The bitter winter in his heart was thawing and slowly shifting to a vibrant spring.

Flowers were starting to blossom beautifully within the dark void and everything was becoming warmer.

No matter how many hardships a person go through, there would always be a promised spring sunshine in between the rain.

“You’re smiling a lot lately.” you pointed out, admiring the serene smile adorning his face.

“You’re observant as ever.” He chuckled in a delighted manner.

“It makes me wonder…” you murmured softly, trailing off for a moment. “if there’s someone out there doing good to your heart.”

He stared at you for a while as he dwelled on your remark.

“Yes, and they’re sitting right beside me.” The young man reached for your hand, smiling warmly at you. “You helped me endure the worst and showed me that life can be good again.”

The pleasant sight of his happy face made your heart flutter because goodness, whenever he smiled—truly smiled, he was extraordinary.

purpled turns invisible when they get upset vs hannah and boomer who've known them for so long that they can just instinctively find them at this point

to the confusion of whoever he’s with at the time, boomer will sometimes stick out his leg for seemingly no reason. all questions are immediately answered by the following loud THUD as purpled re-appears on the ground besides them looking like a disgruntled wet cat

“You know it’s safe around.” you chuckled at his response.

“I know. It’s just an excuse to spend more time with you.” He simply beamed a smile in return.

He occasionally teases you, but deep down you know that he often does that to assure you that you have someone by your side because you deserve a caring friend and a trustworthy partner who will walk with you to the end of the universe, holding your hand like it’s the safest place you ever know.
