Remember when they had demon Medivh stand like practically pressed up against Khadgar’s back saying shit like “embrace your desires” that sure was something.
#wow blogging#harbingers my beloved you will always be famous#the vision of Dalaran falling as demon Medivh says all hes ever worked for would be for nothing UGH#I just know the writers for TWW think they are so clever for doing that now#but the thing is it doesn’t hit the same when Khadgar isn’t there to suffer and blame himself#to despair#this would be a great opportunity to bring back lowkey unhinged Khadgar from WoD#(high key lbr)#the khadgar that Cordana had to yell at to get him to stop torturing Garona#because he’s so single mindedly focused on getting Gul’dan#Mr unsettling gleam in his blue eyes#I WANT it#khadgar who will stop at /nothing/#him hunting down Xal’atath with that same fervor#because everything he’s worked for…all he’s suffered…#and maybe someone has to pull him back from the edge#(Medivh. it should be Medivh)#I’m sorry this is already far more interesting than Alleria’s motivation for hunting down Xal’atath#(like that would be so satisfying. let medivh save him from himself. full circle and all that )#In this scenario#it’s extremely important he not give into corruption in the end though#and not just because Blizz would make us kill Jim#if they didn’t do that they’d probably have him sacrifice himself as redemption or some shit#which would also be equally unsatisfying to me#because Khadgar has suffered so much he deserves a soft epilogue or whatever that quote is#let him and Medivh just..be

Warcraft [Movie] NSFW 🔞 alphabet One-Shots
Alright everyone! This is gonna be my first post—> (let's just ignore that I was gonna write and post a one shot for the kdrama Eve first but just decided to do this instead).
I'm posting the template of this first just in case there are some newbies to Tumblr, and so that all of you can just prepare yourselves 🙂😏🥵
Now, just to get this out of the way as a reminder, I haven't played the World of Warcraft games nor read any of the books. I've only seen the movie and watched a SINGULAR video speed running the history/summary of the storyline of the World of Warcraft games. So these one-shots are only going to be from the movie with the main cast of characters (and yes: even Gul’Dan and Blackhand despite me HATING the former).
So with that out of the way, and a plea for y’all to forgive me and my writing, I hope you enjoy and I'll post the first one later. See ya!
NSFW alphabet template
A = Aftercare (what they’re like after sex)
B = Body part (their favorite body part of theirs and also their partner’s)
C = Cum (anything to do with cum, basically)
D = Dirty secret (pretty self explanatory, a dirty secret of theirs)
E = Experience (how experienced are they? do they know what they’re doing?)
F = Favorite position (this goes without saying)
G = Goofy (are they more serious in the moment? are they humorous? etc.)
H = Hair (how well groomed are they? does the carpet match the drapes? etc.)
I = Intimacy (how are they during the moment? the romantic aspect)
J = Jack off (masturbation headcanon)
K = Kink (one or more of their kinks)
L = Location (favorite places to do the do)
M = Motivation (what turns them on, gets them going)
N = No (something they wouldn’t do, turn offs)
O = Oral (preference in giving or receiving, skill, etc.)
P = Pace (are they fast and rough? slow and sensual? etc.)
Q = Quickie (their opinions on quickies, how often, etc.)
R = Risk (are they game to experiment? do they take risks? etc.)
S = Stamina (how many rounds can they go for? how long do they last?)
T = Toys (do they own toys? do they use them? on a partner or themselves?)
U = Unfair (how much they like to tease)
V = Volume (how loud they are, what sounds they make, etc.)
W = Wild card (a random headcanon for the character)
X = X-ray (let’s see what’s going on under those clothes)
Y = Yearning (how high is their sex drive?)
Z = Zzz (how quickly they fall asleep afterwards)

I enjoy making jokes at Arthas’ expense quite a bit, and I genuinely think that the ways in which he’s a sad, pathetic little worm man are what make him so enthralling, but man. He really just…. absolutely wrecked the world and changed all of Azeroth for the worse forever in all of about ten years. Seven of which he spent asleep. And he killed everyone who thought they held his leash while he was at it (jailer whom). Ner'zhul groomed him into a god, and Arthas devoured him for it. King shit.
This random, irrelevant little human cemented himself as one of the greatest and most horrifying threats to existence, on par with the likes of Gul’dan and Deathwing and Azshara, in less than half the time. He conquered and murdered his way up to Northrend twice! He got this close to fully annihilating the world, and it’s made clear over and over that the only reason he failed is because he is, again, a pathetic little worm man. But when he’s not being a sad bastard, he was wrecking shop. Stood toe to to against Illidan Stormrage! Slew Anastarian and Antonidas, slew Sylvanas, slew Sapphiron, you could not stop him from slaying people! He was so good at it!
His boss battle literally involves him casually one-shotting everyone. Other bosses started getting in on the action, but he’s the first to just straight up kill us. The God of Death likes to play with his food, but he will eventually be fed.
Generally, I don’t find it useful to lean too hard into how menacing and dangerous he is in roleplay. That doesn’t usually help deepen any relationships between him and my partner’s muse -- terror is boring and unchallenging -- but it’s absolutely a part of the sheer, raw fun of him. He’s the Dark Lord of Azeroth, and he’s fucking earned it.
The fact that he’s loudly having a blast the entire time and full-on laughing off everyone else’s attempts to humanize and redeem him really just cinches it for me. What a monster. What a gorgeous, terrible creature. I love him so much.
#sobs and wails and loses my mind for another ten years#about this dumbass generic old bastard#i LOVE HIM OK#I LOVE HIM!!!! aka i love the experiences i've had developing him#with my many lovely friends in this rpc#but mostly I LOVE HIMMMMM#//#﹙ ꜱᴇᴄʀᴇᴛꜱ ᴏғ ᴛʜᴇ ᴍᴏɴᴀʀᴄʜʏ. ﹚ meta.#ish#idk whatever just go with it#﹙ ɪ·ᴍ ᴅᴏɴᴇ ᴡɪᴛʜ ᴜɴᴅᴇʀɢʀᴀᴅ ɪ·ʟʟ sᴛᴜᴅʏ ᴜɴᴅᴇᴀᴅ ɴᴏᴡ. ﹚ ooc.

Khadgar: Regrets of an Archmage
Been going down memory-lane, which among other led me back to Warcraft. Now, one of my favourite characters has always been Khadgar, so I stumbled upon a story-thread that I feel could have been explored a little more:
While the Vault of the Wardens is being retaken, Khadgar is alone with his thoughts in Dalaran, feeling responsible for what happened to Cordana on Draenor.
-
Thunder rumbled in the distance, the night dark and starless. Dalaran’s lights made the floating city appear like a safe haven admits a raging sea, as the storm rolled in from the ocean, the wind already carrying the smell of rain.
Khadgar paid it little attention, his eyes looking south-west instead. He stood alone on one of the many balconies, deep in thought, troubled despite the progress Azeroth’s forces had made. Somewhere below in a tavern, soldiers and adventurers alike were enjoying a well-earned moment of respite, their off-key singing faint, but reaching the Archmage in his tower, nonetheless.
He tried his best to ignore them; this wasn’t a night for revelry, not for him. No, Khadgar knew that right now a small force was breaking into the Vault of the Wardens to vanquish the monsters unleashed there, retrieve the Sargerite Keystone…and kill Cordana.
His grip on the balustrade briefly tightened. Khadgar wondered, not for the first time, if he should have gone as well, followed them. After all, he too was to blame for her getting corrupted in the first place, and the guilt was like a cold hand around his heart.
Khadgar sighed and ran a hand through his grey hair, shoulders sacking.
He had spent so much of his life fighting, had led so many to their deaths in wars and campaigns on more than one world, at times done…questionable things in his efforts to defend all he held dear and fight the enemies of all life. In time those questionable acts had planted the seeds of doubt in Cordana’s heart, seeds that had born terrible fruit, thanks to Gul’dan. Now she served the Legion.
Maybe if he had listened more, he would have seen the signs. Could he have done more to ease her mind and address her concerns? Undone the damage the Orb of Domination had wrought?
Khadgar thought back to Draenor, to all those times she’d pushed him behind her, putting herself between the Archmage and any perceived threat to his life. All those times she’d advised caution or proved herself the clam voice of reason, when he had gotten too desperate in his search for Gul’dan. The time she’d patched up the wound inflicted by Garona’s blade, scolding him for his recklessness, even while her eyes had betrayed earnest concern for his wellbeing.
Had he been too dismissive of her counsel? Khadgar usually strived to appear collected and in control, aiming to reassure both others and himself, however it was possible the Warden had interpreted his nonchalance as arrogance.
Of course he knew what she’d written about him in her reports, a list of his many faults and not an entirely inaccurate one. The Archmage would admit that much. Still, Cordana had always remained respectful towards him regardless, a professional through and through, and he’d respected her in turn, cherished her as a companion. Had she not known that?
Khadgar’s eyes narrowed as lightning bathed the Isle of the Watchers in blinding light.
A part of him wanted to be there in the Vault, though, whether to try to save her from the corruption or make sure she at least met a swift and painless end, he was not sure himself.
If he had gone back to his tower himself that day or at least gone with the Commander, certainly he could have done something, somehow prevented this. He hadn’t been there for her once…he should be now. He owed her that much, but this was a debt doomed to remain unpaid.
Khadgar had only learned of the raid on the Vault earlier this eve, long after it had already commenced and the news had shaken him worse than anticipated. He had hesitated, uncertain of what he should do, if he could help Cordana, if there was still time, only to realize there wasn’t. Maybe that was why the Watchers had kept him in the dark about the recapture, worried he would meddle.
At least Cordana would remain in his memory as the stalwart and compassionate Warden he’d come to know...he would never have to see the Legion’s pawn she’d been twisted into. For a moment Khadgar thought back to his old mentor, Medivh, to Garona, and the cold hand around his heart squeezed painfully. How many more had suffered the same?
Somewhere below the crowd cheered, toasting by the sound of it. Khadgar turned away from the balcony, stepping inside just as the first drops of rain hit the white stones. Wine, yes. He wouldn’t mind a glass or two right about now.
As he drank, Khadgar watched the rain beat against the windows, the storm picking up noticeably and drowning out every other sound, something he didn’t mind one bit. Looking at the door leading to the balcony, he could almost picture Cordana standing outside just as she had in Zangarra, guarding the entrance to his tower, no matter the weather, with her unwavering sense of duty. More than once had he told her to get inside, feeling bad after listening to the rain battering her armour for hours on end. Usually, she had insisted she was fine and remained outside. And she’d thought him stubborn.
Out of habit he conjured a mug of fresh tea onto the table, watching the steam rise in the semi darkness of the room. It had taken him quite a while to figure out which she liked best, as upon asking Cordana had explained that he needn’t bother with such luxuries and how any sort was fine, if he absolutely insisted she had some to warm up. And he had insisted.
Khadgar stared at the mug a while longer, watching it cool, until its scent filled the room.
It was thistle tea. That had been her favourite. One particularly stormy evening she had admitted she found it invigorating. An evening not unlike now, Khadgar recalled as lightning brightened the room for a split second.
Was she still alive? Fighting in this very moment? His eyes turned to the deep red in his glass, cradling it in his hands. Was she already dead?
“I’m sorry, Cordana,” Khadgar whispered into the night, closing his eyes. “You deserved better.”
Somewhere close, thunder roared once again.
-
I might write a few more shorts set on Draenor before Cordana was corrupted, and already have an idea for two or three. Here the link to the AO3.

Ooooh!! Pls tell us how they are dropping the ball in TWW. I’d like some tea ☕️
So like I do like some aspects of TWW but imo Khadgar’s fakeout death and Dalaran falling was done quite poorly
Like if you’re gonna kick the expansion off with what we at the time assumed was a major character death you could have at least…had more than 2 characters care about it
I think that’s what bothers me the most? Alleria and Anduin express genuine grief. Mostly Alleria though. Jaina does for a few seconds. And then no one else in the game like ever mentions it.
No members of the council of six, no Medivh, no citizens of Dalaran who may have liked him, nothing.
Turalyon doesn’t say one word about it :(
It just doesn’t work because his death has 0 impact on anyone except Alleria. No one even MENTIONS it except her and Anduin
We have Alleria’s vengeance arc that personally I think could have been much more impactful
For a successful fakeout death you gotta make it impactful, emotional, etc.
And you do that by showing the grief it causes other characters and the effects it has on their actions or what the absence of that character does in general
They do this with literally only Alleria which imo probably doesn’t work for some people either
Like lbr most players haven’t read Beyond the Dark Portal. Their friendship in the game exists mainly in some flavor text and what they try to throw in there in the beginning of the expansion. A little bit in Legion (which was years ago)
They do nothing to make new players attached to Khadgar before killing him (they’re probably like who is that Lmao) or even just refresh the bond some current players who aren’t obsessed with him like me have with him
There’s some very sweet text between him and the player character in the beginning quests (“I’m glad to have you by my side.” I’ll give them that)
For god’s sake Dalaran falling doesn’t seem to do much of anything. Think of Teldrassil (regardless of the shit writing that led to it) how they have you desperately try to save civilians and ultimately be overwhelmed by the smoke.
They show how significant of a loss this is in various ways, show the refugees, suffering, etc
You get a few stragglers from Dalaran who express very mild grief about it imo. Most of it is “it’s a shame we lost so much knowledge” which is very valid Dalaran was full of it but like…where’s the emotional impact bruh
Then of course they give us Khadgar back
On one hand I’m happy he’s not dead. The cinematic was very sweet.
On the other…what was the point except to make Alleria make some impulsive grief fueled decisions?
Literally what was the point of any of that when no one cared and it did not impact much of anything significantly alskdkslf
Personally I think they should have drawn it out longer, really let the loss sink in..but to do that they’d have to actually acknowledge he died lmao
I still don’t like how he got one shot by Xal either. This man can hold his own with Gul’dan and various other powerful characters.
You could have let it be a fight that she just ends up winning but have him actually get to fight. He deserves that.
Idk I just think it was all written very poorly and mainly for shock value. It didn’t do justice to the character but I suppose I should just be happy they let him live
Idk this expansion in general doesn’t really make you feel like anything happened. it leaves you in a lot of ways going “what was the point…of any of that.” By the end of it?
Xal is fun in a way but she’s also very..one dimensional. Some people find that refreshing to be fair. Just someone straight up evil for evil’s sake. I think it’s a bit lazy that she doesn’t have much of a motivation except that.
And they try SO hard to make her the Uber powerful threat and she’s ~so cunning~ but to do it they nerf other characters and make them make dumb decisions and that’s also lazy :|
Like don’t get me wrong there’s some strong aspects to the expansion. (Especially in side quests. We got some real good side quests this expansion but the main quest itself is lacking in some serious ways particularly in regards to how it started)
Mostly I just don’t like that no one cares Khadgar dies. It drives me nuts lmao.
Literally being Medivh’s ass in. That could have been painful. The character he has the closest bond with.
Legion era writing I miss you…
They wanted a Varian’s death situation (except surprise he’s alive) but it didn’t work because none of them put any effort into having other characters react to it except Alleria ._. They rushed it and just kinda dropped the ball.
We got some good stuff. I like the Earthen, Neurbians and Kobolds. I like the Magni stuff with him, Dagran and Moira
I really like Faerin and some other new characters too.
It’s just..I have more examples of them dropping the ball but my brain isn’t working lmao. Mostly I’m mad at how they handled Khadgar and Dalaran which was supposed to kick off the expansion
Also why Thrall in the loading screen (which implies he’s gonna be a big character this expansion) with Alleria and Anduin when he literally doesn’t show up until the end and does absolutely nothing but bring the horde fleet
I guess we should be thankful they kept Metzen on a leash there. It could have been all Thrall all the time but I just think it’s kinda funny like they just threw him in there for no reason (Metzen probably)
I also do hope there are consequences for Anduin bailing on his kingdom. I love him. I totally get it but you can’t tell me his people aren’t gonna lose complete faith in him after he runs off AGAIN Like that.
I don’t mean he should be punished for having completely reasonable reactions to trauma just that..decisions do have consequences especially in regards to running a Kingdom
He’s gonna need to work to regain their faith in him or at least he should have to but idk if Blizz will do that. Like this should severely weaken his people’s faith in him as a leader.

Yeah at that point I warmed up to Hermes more than Fandaniel. Again, the moment it was revealed mystery hooded dude was possessing Asahi. I felt like I did about Gul’dan surviving WoD. Just kill him already, I don’t even care! Here’s more annoying than an actual threat. And not even like...Bugs Bunny threat. I’m talking like a sentient rubber chicken that keeps going off next your ear.

i was watching the lion king the other day and remembered something.
I always thought it would be cool and interesting if Anduin did not put together that Wrathion is responsible for Varian until their reunion.
Y’all know when Scar forces Simba to (wrongfully) admit he caused Mufasa’s death? What if it was something like that with N’Zoth or Gul’dan forcing Wrathion to admit it, and only then does Anduin find out?
It would have been an interesting dynamic for it to follow like the movie and N’Zoth and Wrathion fight that way. The Alliance helps out of course, but that would be pretty cool!
Maybe I’ll write it.
