Here, have a bit of venting. 

I’ve carried some heavy things, but no physical load has ever compared to my depression when I have a relapse. I feel like it’s crushing me. Sitting on my chest when I’m trying to get out of bed. Weighing me down as I try to walk. Holding me in the chair when I try to grab food or water or just take care of myself. It gets so severe that when it happens, my main reflex is dissociating entirely. At least then I can feel the negative things it’s doing to me, like the hunger from not eating and etc.
