What John Hughes movie would your character be in? Who would they be? And what other characters in the RP would fill major roles from the movie?

That god-awful sci-fi sex-romp movie that I religiously adored as an innocent child, called Weird Science.  Iann insists he’d be youthful RDJ who plays the character ‘Ian’, because that would be funny since Ian is a douchebag who torments the nerdy protags.

And I mean really nerdy, like typical whiteboy racist, sexist, homophobic nerdy of the 80′s (and 90s? and 2000s. And…10s…lol.  Ahhh gotta love this forever-beloved trope.)

So in the spirit of grotesquery, I’d cast Iann as the worst main character of all, the Anthony Micheal Hall character.  Miguel would be his put-upon best-friend who is the more sympathetic protag because he’s small and whiny.  Lisa, the titular and most important fembot character in the film (and arguably the one who flips the script and is supposedly fempowerment in a very white way) could be easily played by Faye or Grace.  Highly sexual, and highly superior, and treats all men like the fragile little boys they are.

I’d cast Ephram as Chet because I think Ephram and only Ephram would ever enjoy the hilarity of being the military bullying older brother turned piece-of-shit (literally, Lisa the magical fembot turns him into a giant turd).  Ably played by Bill Paxton.

The two very lovely girl love interests for the nerds are unfortunately negligible since they have no real personalities other than ‘love interest’. I guess one can be Molly and the other can be Ocean.  But tbh the animal familiars have more personality than these two girls.

Oh! Ryden can be the entire malformed biker gang who ridiculously terrorizes the teenager house party, so the nerds can save the day. 

 If all of this sounds awful and confusing, you’d be right.  I still have a childhood soft spot for Lisa though.
