If people could stop reblogging from trad fascists like Greater-than-the-sword or Prolifeproliberty that’d be a huge improvement.

hm thanks for your potato information! I am growing potatoes in a planter pot. My other potatoes in the other planter pot were not affected. Also, they are red potatoes and not russets if that makes any difference. I'll be sure to cut them open.
no problem!! if it's in a planter pot it should be fine I think since there is no contact-to-contact but i'd still be careful!
If it's a potato, it can get blight, I think there are some modern strains that are a bit more resistant but not fully. Blight moves VERY quickly, and if it does have blight it'll be either black in the center or hollow, and reek.
Good luck on your potato growing!

like, watching the movies, I never noticed that plot hole because they always kinda left open the option the clones never had any free will to begin with. just by virtue of being cloned humans. which is something I didn't like about Star Wars, and I am at least glad they fixed it
didn't see this ask til now re: this post
but yeah it's been a while since i've watched ep2 but didn't the cloners say something about them being made to be obedient? ok yeah i just went and watched the clip, he said they're completely obedient, following any order, and were genetically modified to be less independent than their donor. That's all you need right there, no special brain chips necessary. no plot hole.

All right I'm going to call receipts on that one, rivers don't flow up. Ever. Theres this thing called gravity
😂 I guess I shouldn’t say “up” so much as “north” but yeah! St. John’s river in Florida flows northward, which is apparently uncommon (think it’s the only one that does here actually).

Pay Attention! From the musical Spies are Forever
This is. The funniest thing I have listened to in a long time. Thank you for much for this rec, it will be living rent-free in my head for days.

You're still watching the Dragon Prince? How gay is the 3rd season? I stopped watching it because of the 2 moms thing
it's not great. Callum and Ezran's aunt gets engaged to a female elf, there's a transgender character introduced in season 4 Claudia is dating, the people who adopted Rayla after her parents died are two men, general background 'normalisation.'
I dunno if I'd say it's worth continuing. There's some good parts, the art is gorgeous, I love some of the characters, but they are very much pushing an agenda and sometimes it feels like a bad fanfic. I'm only really watching it for Soren and Ezran and this point tbh (and Callum and Rayla to a certain extent) (also Viren's arc the last few seasons has me intrigued)

Have you seen Paterson
Yessssss I love it so much. One of my favorite rewatch films!!!!
mostly it's a really peaceful experience but sometimes it's too much and reduces me to this throwback emma stone crying eating ice cream gif because it's just so tender and gorgeous

Dude giving credit is saying that they did it. That is what credit is.
"Credit to the original artist" is not credit to the original artist

Why are all these annoying pro homeschool posts on that popped up on my dash made by pro life conservative Christians?!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
More importantly, why do they always skip around the actual criticisms we have of these conservative homeschool groups? I didn’t always like school especially as an autistic youth but it allowed me to connect with queer/trans youth as someone who’s still figuring out who they are and start to educate myself on issues like the human rights violations by Israel that these homeschool types would have never taught because they threaten their worldview.

Now I'm wondering if you share my love/hate relationship with Yuksowsky, he has several fascinating insights but is certifiably insane.
You sent this like a year ago but I don't really hate anything about Big Yud. He's annoying sometimes (I'm thinking about unfollowing his Xitter) but I agree with his position about the level sanity of society.

Only If For A Night by Florence + The Machine. I apologize for this by the way.
I haven't actually listened to this one in years. this album has been on my phone forever but i usually skip this one. I do like it. hits a little different now. not exactly sure what you're apologizing for.

Please don't take this the wrong way but... how do you get any enjoyment out of reading fiction?? If you can't picture things? To me I can picture anything that the author describes well enough, if can't picture it it's the author's fault. So from my perspective it sounds like saying you're blind but enjoy watching TV. The vast majority of the experience is removed
I guess saying that I kind of experience fiction somewhat blind isn’t too far off actually lol. I can picture general movement and touch, and with that, emotion, but it’s all really blurry and desaturated, like I’m not wearing glasses in a dark room. I don’t remember faces well irl either to the point I haven’t recognized my own mother a couple of times lol. When I try to picture people, they look like faceless marionettes with a dull, simplistic version of whatever clothing they usually wear. I also walk around my house in the dark, so dark blurs are more or less normal to me. I know people have faces in my dreams, but I don’t recall them, and a lot of them happen in the dark, too.
Honestly, thinking about it now, my dreams are set like spotlights, where there’s this small patch of area that I can explore, but if I go beyond that, there’s nothing loaded and the dream insta-kills me or restarts lol. That’s how it’s for me reading fiction, too. Kinda like a small stage play. It does have me rereading a lot to understand what is happening though, since I do have a hard time picturing it.

heh, I know my church pretty well and the only person who's ever mentioned DND is the grandma who thinks it's Satanic. (some of my co workers do have a group though, but I work on the night they attend.)
💀 don't tell her Mormon missionaries play DND with me and my dad
you should make your own DND group!! the physical books are expensive but they have DM's guide, Player's handbook, and elemental evils (?) for free on the DND beyond website!!
also if you hate pirating and don't want to pirate the books don't go to 5e.tools because it has all of the books on there and that's illegal and bad
