This region will experience blizzard conditions with accumulations of over four inches of snow, and some areas may see up to nine inches before the storm passes. The snowfall will be accompanied by lightning, thunder, and high winds, particularly in Iowa and Wisconsin. On Thursday, snow showers will spread across parts of the Great Lakes and Ohio Valley. Following this, a secondary area of snow will develop from the Poconos through eastern New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine on Thursday night into Friday. This area is expected to receive one to four inches of snow, with higher amounts possible in elevated areas. Overall, residents in these regions should prepare for significant snowfall and potentially hazardous conditions as this winter weather system moves through. Stay informed and take necessary precautions to ensure safety during this period of inclement weather. Severe weather is expected to impact parts of Indiana and Illinois today. The area could experience thunderstorms with large hail and strong wind gusts exceeding 50 miles per hour this afternoon and evening. A line of thunderstorms is forecasted to develop from Iowa into Illinois, potentially containing large hail. This line of storms is projected to continue through Indiana, likely weakening as it moves into Ohio, Kentucky, and even parts of Tennessee tonight. #WinterWeather #BlizzardConditions #SnowStorm #SnowAccumulation #SevereWeather #Thunderstorms #HighWinds #WinterSafety #StayInformed #GreatLakesSnow #OhioValleyWeather #WinterPreparedness #IowaStorms #WisconsinWeather #IllinoisThunderstorms #IndianaWeather #SnowShowers #WinterWonderland ❄️🌨️
