#poptart’s general stuff#the outsiders#poptart speaks#se hinton#I want the socs to be the band bc the band always gets the most attention#and greasers should be like choir#and then idk colorguard is the lowest of the low#but like colorguards usually aren’t that big and it would be looked down upon for being different and not a real part of the department#So mayhaps Ponyboy and Johnny do colorguard#mayhaps darry did both choir and band and pushes Ponyboy to do something similar#I think theater/drama would belong to the middle class#socs are instruments bc instruments are expensive#Greasers are choir because it’s cheap (it’s just your voice) and a good way to express themselves#and the East is full of singing greasers and the west is full of instrumental socs#but this would be like if you were required to take one of these classes.
