actually Bourbon had so many chances of getting outed as a NOC, even if we're not counting the movies
like, both of the people he most worked with (Scotch and Rye) were found out as NOCs, which would personally make me suspicious of him, and the members of the black organization are way more wary about NOCs
not only that, but Akemi Miyano is his childhood friend? she could have let slip something about him and his cover would be blown
there's the time where Taka'aki knew where he was and that Kuroda had to act too, because if he was too late to act, his cover would have been blown in front of Rum of all people
not to mention all the time he can be seen with Kazami? or the fact he uses the same car as Amuro Tooru and Furuya Rei?

summary: you and hiromi are sent out on a mission to exorcize a strong curse at an abandoned hospital. as hiromi has to use his domain to strip you from your cursed technique, things start to go downhill.

Tumblr media
The day had been pleasant. You and Hiromi shared a lazy Sunday with no missions or jujutsu sorcery whatsoever, watched a few movies on TV, talked and spent time together. He tried teaching you principles of criminal law, but you understood virtually nothing.
After a few glasses of wine, though, your hand wound up on his thighs, his lips on your neck, and well, here you were.
You were splayed in front of him, propping up your body with your arms, and his abdomen was pressed sweaty against your back, as he rolled himself into you. Hiromi had one hand on your thigh, and the other supported him over your trembling body.
"Ah, Hiro-" you gasped, in between mewls and moans, turning your chin over your shoulder, just so you could ask him to move, making it easier for you to come undone over him.
He huffed, warm, humid breath pressed against the hair in the back of your neck, as he answered with a husky voice, "yes, my love?"
He had called you that once or twice before, but this time, it swirled and tangled itself around you like divine rope, drowning you in molasses. The request you had lingering went straight to the back of your mind, as you moaned to the sound of his gravely, breathless voice calling you 'my love'.
"Call me that again," you pleaded, whimpering, while you felt him brushing against the deepest parts of you.
"Ah, my love..." Hiromi repeated, an audible smile while he spoke, nuzzling his gorgeous hooked nose behind your neck as he planted wet kisses wherever his lips passed. "My love, my love, my love…" His mouth traveled to the back of your shoulder, and you lifted your head to moan his name, shivers prickling on the roots of every hair in your body.
He kept cooing my love against you until his speech became nothing but incoherent mumbling against your bare, sensitive skin.
Before you noticed, his hand, previously on your thigh, descended to rub you as he approached his own release, and upon the pressure from his digits on you, already sensitive by then, you let out a strained moan of his name.
Hiromi came with a watery groan, having you tip over the edge some time after, letting out a last cry for him.
As you were navigating your euphoric ecstasy, trying to keep the comedown at bay for a few moments longer, both falling to the side with him pulling your body closer, you felt him whispering against your locks.
Even though you couldn't be sure about it, you thought you heard Hiromi say I love you.
***
"I have to go," he said, playfully trying to untangle your arms from his waist, kissing your cheek with the sultry smell of fresh black coffee breath. You were both in your balcony, the breakfast plates empty over the only chair you had, and you giggled and kissed his jawline insistently.
"Why do you have to go?" You asked, parting slightly to look at Hiromi. As he looked back at you, you formed a pout with your lower lip, and he smiled, planting a quick kiss on your mouth.
"Because I have to water the sunflower you gave me," he replied, lovingly.
"Why don’t you just bring your sunflower here? You basically sleep here the entire week now. You should bring some clothes too, and other things you might need" you replied, liberating his waist from your tight grip on his body, crossing your arms in front of your chest.
Then you realized what that sounded like.
He also did.
"Are you... Asking me to move in with you?" He questioned, and you instantly blushed, red wash covering your cheeks.
"I... Just bring the sunflower already. I-" you stuttered, "just don't want you to leave every single morning to take care of it and change into clean clothes."
Hiromi put both of his hands on your shoulders and smiled fondly. "I will, I promise," he answered, as he kissed your forehead with a feathery touch. You smiled at him, and let your arms down, aligning his tie with the tips of your fingers. At that, he sighed contently.
It was then that you remembered what you thought you heard last night.
"Hey, Hiromi..." you began.
"Yes, my love?" He replied, sugary tone as he brought one of his hands up to caress your cheek.
You quivered to the sound of that, just like you did the night before.
"Yesterday, after we..." you cleared your throat, feeling a faint sense of trepidation creeping over you, "did you whisper or say anything? I mean, I thought I heard something."
He widened his eyes a little, and you could swear his face had become a light peachy pink. You kept silent, waiting for an answer, and his mouth opened, without a sound coming from it, as he blinked mindlessly thinking of anything to say.
Words failed him, hard.
Then, your phone rang.
You cursed internally at the interruption, sighing deeply.
Grasping at it with the tips of your fingers, you pulled the thing out of your pocket, seeing Gojo's name lit up on the screen.
Pressing the green icon, you said, "yes, Satoru? I was kind of in the middle of something."
"Hey!" His whimsical voice echoed through your ear. "So, we have a mission for you and Higuruma, and I'd like to ask for you to take Yuuji along."
"Oh, okay, no problem. What is it?"
"There's apparently a Grade 1 curse in a closed-down hospital, just by the outskirts of Tokyo. You or Higuruma alone would suffice, but I want Yuuji to train coordinating himself with other sorcerers in the field, so the more, the merrier! Also, you are both great at it, so he might actually learn a thing or two."
You smiled, noticing how this enthusiasm wasn't purely a facade. Gojo had been slowly — but surely — been chipping away at his frivolous-smile persona, and it became evident in how he sounded genuinely thrilled when talking about his students.
"Okay! I'll be delighted to have him tagging along."
"Alright, then!"
You hung up, and darted your eyes to Higuruma, that seemed curious about your call.
"We have a mission together. Just let me get ready" you stated, and he hoped for a second that you had forgotten the question you made moments before the phone rang.
You hadn't.
***
"Nitta, we'll be right back! Please, take care. This area seems kind of shady" you said, as you, Higuruma and Yuuji stepped outside the car.
The blonde woman turned her head to smile at you, giving you a thumbs up. "No worries. Also, I'm bringing the veil down right after you go inside. Even if we're a little far from the huzz buzz of Tokyo, it's better to be safe than sorry."
You nodded. "Great. Thank you, Nitta."
After closing the doors, the three of you began walking towards the hospital. It was a considerably big structure, and seemed to be closed off for at least a few years, with the unforgiving weather weaving black cracks of mold across the sleeping giant’s facade.
"So, are you excited?" You asked, turning your head to look at Yuuji. He looked back at you, big puppy eyes flickering with anticipation.
"Yes!" He chirped, opening a wide smile. "I really want to see you and Mr. Higuruma fighting together on the field, I heard you two are mad strong working together."
Barely before Hiromi began taking missions on his own, and after working together for some time, you both became something of a legendary duo for having exorcized a particularly strong special grade curse side by side in a sequence of black flashes — you both had dealt three black flashes each.
Hiromi silently smiled, gazing at you, and after noticing it, you couldn't help but blush a little bit. You shook your head softly, and breathed deeply to ease yourself back into professional mode.
"So, Yuuji-kun," you began, enunciating every syllable separately.
"Yes, sensei?" He replied, imitating your cadence.
"Let's have a quick run through on cursed spirits again, shall we?"
"Okay!"
"So, why do you think a strong cursed spirit manifested here, inside a closed off hospital?" You quizzed.
"Because cursed spirits manifest due to negative emotions, and places like hospitals, cemeteries and such pool a lot of those" He answered.
"Good! But this hospital has been closed off for a while, so what do you think could've happened for a cursed spirit to manifest here currently?"
"There are two options. First, it took some time for the negative energy to concentrate enough for it to appear," he began, "and the second is that this spirit had already been exorcized, but after a while, it respawned."
"Yes, yes, good," you answered, nodding, trying to keep a straight face to mask the proud feeling. "But there is a third option!"
"Oh, is there?" He inquired, whipping his head in your direction.
"Yes! If this is an almost special grade curse, like some we all have faced in the past, then it could've spawned elsewhere and come here out of its own volition" you completed, finger extended up beside your face to make your point.
"Oh, true!" He replied.
"So, which one do you both think it is?" Hiromi asked, as he mindlessly swirled his gavel around his fingers, the crunch of leaves and dirt under your feet filling the air.
As the three of you entered what you liked to call the invisible cloud, the point where the energy emanated by the cursed spirit around its area seemed to hit like a whiff of strong air, similar to the forming winds of a tornado, you sighed, putting your hands in your pockets.
"It's strong, but not that strong. I'd place my bets on the first or second options."
***
"There is no time to argue, Hiromi, I need to go in there with Yuuji and I need you to use your domain on me!"
The curse had its own kind of veil, from what you all could tell, and the only people allowed inside were those who apparently had no innate cursed technique. Yuuji easily peered his hand inside its realm, and so did Nitta, apart from her protests of being used as a lab rat.
"Judgeman can pick any random crime to judge, I have no say in that" he hesitantly answered. "It can be a serious offense, worthy of the death penalty. I'd just like to avoid that happening" he concluded, voice simmering with hesitancy hitting the back of his throat.
"I'm not a contumacious criminal, and you can go easy on me when it's your time to speak. Come on. We can do this!" You tried reassuring him, one hand planted to each of his shoulders. "I can't let Yuuji go in there alone, I'm responsible for him. He's my student, and a teenager."
"You sound just like Nanamin" Yuuji complained more to himself than anyone else, crossing his arms on his chest, still mumbling. I'm not a kid.
"Hiromi, please."
He sighed deeply before nodding.
"Itadori, I'll need you to step behind."
The boy acquiesced and distanced himself, as the other sorcerer stepped his way into your direction and expanded his domain, drawing you in.
No matter how many times you got pulled into other sorcerer's domains, going in was always a jarring and disorienting experience, overall.
In a few short moments, you and Hiromi were standing facing each other, and you sighed deeply at the sight of that shikigami, remembering that the last time you saw it, the thing gave you one hell of a headache.
Or better, it and Hiromi did, when he was still a curse user.
"Fine, let's go on with this" you stated, getting ready to hear yet another possible (or not) misdemeanor or unknown crime you might've committed.
But you weren't ready for the words that left the shikigami's mouth.
"February 24th, 2008."
That date.
"Odate City, Akita Prefecture."
Oh, no.
Your eyes widened in panic, and Hiromi saw it.
You could visualize his lips moving, he was talking to you. Perhaps asking if you were alright.
However, you heard nothing.
"You stand accused of homicide against-"
You didn't need to hear the rest.
"I confess. I killed him."
Whatever Hiromi was speaking suddenly drowned in his chest. You looked at him, and he tried futilely holding your faltering gaze to ask you what the hell was going on, shocked eyes wide open, but you just crawled your way back inside your head, desperately wishing for this fucking day to be immediately over.
"Confiscation! Death penalty!" The creature shouted, before dissipating away.
That little shit.
And then… It all happened in a split second.
Hiromi saw the Executioner's Sword in his hand. Yuuji began asking what the hell is going on under bated, preoccupied and terrified breath. You nearly lost your balance before coming back to your senses.
Hiromi immediately dispelled his technique, feeling equal parts mortified and disgusted to be holding that against you.
"Why did you-" the former lawyer began, extending his hand your way.
You flinched away, eyes glued to the ground.
"Not now. I have to go in with Yuuji and finish exorcizing this curse."
"My lo… Please" Hiromi pleaded, before exhaling slowly. "Be careful."
"I will."
***
Hiromi sat beside you, as Yuuji looked worried from afar, since you were never one to be so unbearably quiet and aloof.
The sorcerer knew you were finding it incredibly hard to speak right now, and when everyone got back to Jujutsu High, all you did was sit at the base of the stairs, not uttering a single sound, and not following them when they began walking upstairs.
Hiromi stayed quiet, gazing at you, and held your hand to see if you'd react.
You didn't move, frozen in your spot, feelings hurricaning inside you like a blizzard. You feared that, if you moved, even a single inch, you'd come crumbling down.
"My love, please, talk to me."
You couldn't do anything other than shake your head.
You just couldn't.
Hell, breathing was barely manageable under the broken dam of painful memories flooding your mind all at once.
Hiromi sighed, ever so patient, aware of what he had to do. He didn't particularly appreciate the idea, but it was his only option then.
"Tell me the truth" he began, "is it me that you need by your side right now?" Hiromi asked, earnestly.
Your lips trembled for a moment, your jaw clenched, and you searched for the strength to find your voice again. When you did, you felt horrible for what you knew you were about to say, but you chose to honor your promise to Hiromi — always tell him the truth, even when it hurt.
Truth is, you had never told him about your brother and all that happened at Odate, and right now, you knew you couldn't muster up the strength to explain it all to him. It would be necessary to make Hiromi understand the depths of the emotional struggles that had been at stake ever since his shikigami bestowed upon you the death penalty.
Only one person could talk you through this.
"No, it’s not."
He resigned, feeling the words piercing him like needles. The sorcerer was aware that he had to talk to you about it, but decided to do it at a later time.
At that very moment, he knew what you needed to talk about, and Nanami was the only person you'd speak to.
Hiromi got on his feet and walked towards Yuuji.
"Is there anything I can do to help?" The boy asked, genuinely concerned.
"Itadori, can you please call Nanami? Tell him it's important, that it's about her, and ask him to come" Hiromi stated.
Yuuji nodded and pulled his phone, immediately starting to dial.
After the call, Hiromi asked if you wanted to be alone, to which you nodded. He and Yuuji walked upstairs as you waited — for Nanami or for this feeling to go away, whatever happened first.
Some time passed before a car stopped in front of you.
As Nanami got out of it, he looked at you, and you had a completely defeated look on your face as you were still sitting on the same spot ever since you got there an hour prior.
He closed the door behind him and made his way towards you, steady stride taking him to meet you at the steps, as he, himself, descended, sitting by your side. He didn't glance at you, choosing to look at the sky after removing his glasses, putting them inside his blazer's pocket, and waited patiently.
Nanami had done this many times before, and knew you usually only needed some peace, quiet and space in order to begin spilling your ruminations and thoughts all over his ears.
With a sigh, you began.
"I got sentenced to death today for killing my brother. Wonderful day."
Nanami was instantly taken aback, not grasping what you were on about.
"Could you please clarify?"
You shuffled uncomfortably.
"We were fighting a curse, and long story short, only people without innate cursed techniques could enter its own brand of veil in order to fight it. I asked Hiromi to use his domain on me, so that Itadori wouldn't go in alone, and I was tried for my brother's death."
The sorcerer had some knowledge as to how Higuruma's domain worked, and it still didn't make sense to him. He knew that Higuruma didn't pick the crime to be tried, as it was chosen at random by his shikigami, and also knew there were two possible different penalties, confiscation and death sentence, the second reserved for the most serious of cases, which granted Higuruma the executioner's sword.
He also remembered very distinctly how your brother died, and knew for a fact that you weren't culpable for his death.
"I apologize, but I still don't understand how that could've happened" he proceeded.
"I..." you stuttered, "I confessed."
Oh.
"Why did you confess?" Nanami asked, voice lowering softly.
You looked at him, and in an instant diverted your gaze back to the ground.
"He died because of me, to save me. He sacrificed himself in a gamble for me to live."
"That doesn't make you culpable" he answered, his voice a mixture of empathetic and objective.
"Why not? He's still dead, and I'm still the reason he died."
You leaned your arms to hug your knees shortly after you said that, physically holding your pieces together.
“You're aware he’d wish you to be happy and at peace after he was gone, right?” Nanami asked.
“And that’s the worst part!” You let out, now finally choked on tears that wouldn't come, allowing your fragments to burst at the seams.
Relief, however, was slow to come, and your chest still was tight around your heavy heart.
Nanami was surprised at your response, and remained silent, so that you had the time you needed to elaborate on your feelings.
"I… I know he’d want me to be happy, so now I don’t just feel sad for his departure, but I feel guilty for not being able to fulfill his wish, to just be happy after his death."
You sighed tightly, trying to air out that wrenching sensation. It didn't work.
"I feel guilty for not being able to fulfill his dying wish. It's like... I failed him in every single way imaginable."
Nanami gave it a pause before he spoke again.
"I understand."
"You... do? I'm not crazy for feeling like that?" You inquired, looking at him.
Nanami shook his head. "No. Navigating grief is a hard challenge, and it can show itself in many ways, often nonsensical."
"I can't imagine how people deal with grief without undoing themselves every time they have to face it" you blurted out.
Looking at you, his eyes softened, as he said, "sometimes, they end up undoing other people in the process."
That caught your attention, and you looked back at him.
With half a mind to distract yourself from the pain regarding the loss of your twin, you unconsciously decided to poke at another kind of ache, one that you hadn't touched upon ever since you and the sorcerer in front of you had defeated the Lover's Pass curse.
"Kento, why-" you halted for a brief second. "Can I call you Kento?"
He smiled so discreetly you nearly missed it. "Yes."
Acclimating yourself to it, you proceeded.
"Kento, why did you shove me away like that after we spent a night together?" You asked him, unsure if you really wanted to know the answer to that question.
Nanami sighed and looked down for a while before he answered you.
"I was... Frightened."
That definitely took you unexpectedly, and you looked at him puzzled.
"Of what?"
"Dying and leaving you behind."
He sighed before allowing himself to proceed.
"No, that's not all of it."
Nanami took a few seconds to muster up the courage to admit the not-so noble part of his reasoning for doing what he'd done.
"I was afraid of the pain I'd endure if you died, too."
"Afraid of me dying? That was your reason?" You felt genuinely confused. "Why was that even a reason to push me away? This is a risk just as much now. I'm still a jujutsu sorcerer, you know."
"Yu Haibara" was everything he could say, involuntarily pinching the bridge of his nose, impassive face concealing the sting of pain that came from the depths of his past.
"Your friend?"
You remembered when Nanami told you about the mission where his partner died. How they were both chased by the town's people that treated the curse like a deity, how Haibara was fatally wounded, and how Nanami helplessly tried to flee taking Haibara with him, unable to do a single thing to save his best friend's life.
"Yes. At the time, I had only met a few older sorcerers who died in the field, and dying while on a mission myself felt somewhat like a foreign concept to me. I was young and just saw it as an abstract possibility of being a jujutsu sorcerer" Kento said. You waited quietly for him to proceed, collecting his thoughts.
"When he died, I felt his death deeper than any other that had happened up until that point," Nanami began, now turning his eyes to look at you as he said his next words, "and when I failed your mission years ago, it felt quite like the same. That distinct sense of helplessness and failure."
You were both silent for a moment, letting it all hang in the air.
"I thought that if I kept my distance, and something happened to either of us, it wouldn't hurt so profoundly for me or for you" he concluded.
Upon hearing that, you shook your head and looked away, smiling bitterly and incredulous.
"Well, that's just stupid."
He huffed, with a regretful, quitted expression on his face. "Yes, I know that now. But it seemed to make sense then."
After a few moments, gentle and polite, Kento got up and offered you his hand.
You took it and lifted yourself with his help, feeling like his unwavering serenity could somehow be passed over to you from that brief contact alone.
"Thank you" you murmured, nearly whispering.
"Whenever you need my assistance" he answered, fondly.
It felt like the film that had been suffocating you ever since you stepped out of Hiromi's domain was finally removed, and you could breathe in peace again.

NegaPosi Angler ep12 ramblings 🎣
(ofc it’s about takaaki again..what can i say. i love him so much.) i had always assumed that his little brother’s passing was due to his illness (hence why he was so adamant about hiro having to go to the hospital asap and stuff) but it’s so much worse and heartbreaking than i thought…
Tumblr media
no wonder he hadn’t gone to visit his grave even once during those three years holy shit. i myself have a kid brother i care about a lot i can’t even fathom the immense guilt that must’ve been crushing him since… rewatching that scene from episode 10 right after hits different now i love inflicting pain upon myself
Tumblr media
im placing takaaki breaking down in my top3 of things that caused me the most emotional anguish this year, and never before in my life have i been that desperate to reach out through my screen to hug and comfort a fictional character idc if i sound crazy i was literally whispering/yelling and begging for hiro to do something, anything. like, your friend is crying and looking like that right in front of you and you’re just. standing there, how. (tho i understand it now, this is hiro we’re talking abt, dude was a blubbering mess over a simple ‘thank you’ earlier and how he wasn’t used to saying alot of things and mayhaps it would’ve been ooc for him to physically comfort takaaki there. also he was pbly feeling awkward enough as it is and wanted to give him space but STILL. I WANTED THAT HUG. (fyi i am so writing a fic abt this later i could alr see it creating itself in my head while watching the scene like—)
i swear these VAs are so goated i can’t stress this enough—legit felt my heart twisting itself inside out hearing him sob im not strong enough for this
almost forgot to mention how frigging wholesome and funny the first half of the episode was; takaaki sulking and trying to give hiro the cold shoulder and failing miserably every time had me in stitches, like, c’mon. just admit it, dude you can’t even stay genuinely mad at him for more than two minutes straight you love him too much for that
Tumblr media Tumblr media
this dumbass lmaooo (they are So cute)
Tumblr media
even hiro finds it funny…
overall that first half was awesome as hell and the whole sequence of hiro catching his first big fish with takaaki’s help got me soooo happy and emotional i was so proud of him… he did it ;-;
Tumblr media Tumblr media
also loooook it’s the lil girl and her mom from episode one,, she grew up🥹
and fuck, that ending… it got me crying real tears of joy,, i had a feeling we might get a timeskip and they absolutely delivered with it… ngl to me hiro started off as a okay-ish, almost annoying mc whom i didn’t think i’d even end up liking at the beginning, but here i am two months later weeping bc of his big, genuine grin as he reunites with his friends after years of medical treatment…
Tumblr media
look at him!!! 2 years later and he’s all better now!! he gets to hang out with takaaki and the everymart gang and go fishing with them again!! this is everything i needed rly i couldn’t have asked for a more perfect and satisfying ending.. im gonna miss them all ofc but im so so happy rn

Communication is Key
This week in BL Land:
Ten: I found a note that said "I'm scamming the doctor for money" Prem: That was my sister, but I'm sorry, and it's not true. Ten: You're my Linda Evangelista, so I believe you.
Tumblr media
Karan: You're perfect and you always know exactly what I'm thinking which is why I feel like I suck compared to you. Achi: I can read your mind, and I have been doing that this entire time. Karan: OH MY GOD! So you know how much I love you because you hear me thinking about you 24/7 even when I'm sleeping?! Let's move into together!
Tumblr media
Hiro: I didn't show up for the date I scheduled. I'm awful! I'm horrible! Kai: Nah. You just have a demanding job. I understand. Here's some food. Hiro: I still suck, but this food is good, and I will make this up to you because you deserve to be treated well and not have low expectations of people.
Tumblr media
Soga: I saw you with your ex, and it made me jealous! Sakae: I'm glad you were jealous, but I only have eyes for you, which means my eyes saw that your ex called you. Soga: We are only friends, and I didn't want to speak to her because I was with you. *kiss*
Tumblr media
Charlie: I faked my death, so you were crying over an empty grave. Babe: God, I love you.
Tumblr media
Prom: I helped your brother fake his death. Nont: I fucking hate you. Prom: Can we still hang out? Nont: *eye roll* I guess. But I'm still pissed off at you. Prom: I wouldn't love you if you weren't.
Tumblr media
These BLs really said, "Problems. What problems?" and kept it moving.
AND I LOVE IT!
The plots keeps moving along, and I get to focus all my brain cells on the one show where the lack of communication is pivotal.
Tumblr media
Good for all these BLs for finally understanding that talking to one another really matters, mostly when faking death. Do you see where I'm going with this Dead Friend Forever?

“𝐈 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐬𝐨 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐦𝐞”
YAN!FEM!KNIGHT!TOJI FUSHIGURO X PRINCESS!READER
Your father gets you a new knight after your old one was mysteriously found dead. But it seems like she wants to be more than just your knight…
WARNINGS: death and nothing else in this chapter. But things will get darker as I continue this story. There will be gore, murder, smut, drinking, kidnapping and more later on. Please stay tuned :3 story is on hold cause I have no motivation to write it …. 😇
YOU’RE IN your room, sitting on your bed as you scrunch up the fabric of your dress in your hands. The tension in the air is palpable, and the silence of your room does nothing to soothe your nerves.
Your father had said he had something important to tell you, and with his tone of voice, you could tell it was serious. And that made you very, very nervous. You try to distract yourself by looking around your room, but your mind keeps drifting back to the potential bad news.
Finally, the door to your room opens, and your father steps in, closing it behind him with a heavy sigh. His face is grave, and his eyes avoid meeting yours.
“Hello, [Name]. I have… I have some news about your knight,” your father says, causing your heart to beat quicker. The urgency in his voice only adds to your anxiety.
“What’s… what’s the news, Father? Is he leaving?,” you ask worriedly, your voice trembling. You had known your knight, Hiro, since you were a young girl, and the thought of him leaving was unbearable.
Your father hesitates, his expression pained. “No, it’s worse, I fear. My darling… Hiro was found dead. We’re trying to bury him, but we can’t find his head,” he informs you, stepping closer to embrace you as you take in the shocking news.
Tears prick at the corners of your eyes, blurring your vision. “This can’t be… he was the strongest!” you cry out, your voice breaking. The reality of the situation feels like a cruel joke.
Your father holds you tighter, his own sorrow evident. “I know, my dear. I know. We will find out what happened, I promise,” he says, trying to offer some comfort in the midst of your grief.
As you sob into his shoulder, the weight of Hiro’s death settles heavily in your heart. The loss is profound, and the uncertainty surrounding his demise only deepens your despair.
“But do not worry. I have gotten you a new knight. She will take very good care of you,” your father informs you, causing you to momentarily stop crying. His words seem to hang in the air, a small comfort amidst the storm of your emotions.
“She? There are female knights?” you ponder, wiping your tears with your handkerchief. The thought of a female knight is surprising, yet intriguing.
“She’s the first one, due to her strength and abilities. Her name is Toji Fushiguro,” your father tells you, sitting down next to you. His presence is a reassuring anchor in your turbulent sea of grief.
“What… what does she look like, if you have seen her before?” you lean into your father, letting him wipe the rest of your tears away with the pad of his thumb. The name Toji Fushiguro stirs a mix of curiosity and apprehension within you.
“I have not seen her before, please forgive me, my daughter,” he sighs softly, placing a kiss on your forehead. His gentle touch and the warmth of his kiss offer a fleeting moment of solace.
You take a deep breath, trying to steady yourself. “Do you think she’ll be kind?” you ask, your voice barely above a whisper. The fear of the unknown gnaws at you, but the hope for a compassionate protector gives you a sliver of comfort.
“I believe she will, my dear. She was highly recommended,” your father assures you, his tone firm yet gentle. “We will meet her together, and you can decide for yourself.”
Nodding slowly, you close your eyes, trying to imagine what your new knight will be like.
THE NEXT DAY…
You sigh sadly as you sit in the tub, the maids washing your body and cleaning your hair. The warm water does little to soothe the ache in your heart.
“Princess, we feel so badly for you. We hope they catch the monster who did that,” one of the maids tells you, but her words do little to comfort you. The pain of losing Hiro is still too fresh, too raw.
As they continue cleaning you up to look presentable, you can’t help but feel a deep sense of despair. The thought crosses your mind to just let your head go under and let yourself drown, to escape from the overwhelming sadness. But you push the thought away, knowing you have responsibilities to uphold.
After they finish cleaning you, they gently dry your hair and style it with care. They dress you in a pretty white gown with matching heels, the elegance of the attire contrasting sharply with how you feel inside.
“The king wants you to go to the sitting room. He’s currently there, waiting for you,” one of the maids informs you. You nod silently, your movements mechanical as you make your way there.
As you walk through the corridors, you try to gather your strength, knowing your father is counting on you to be strong. Reaching the sitting room, you pause for a moment, taking a deep breath before stepping inside to face whatever news awaits you.
You enter the room and see your father standing with a woman you assume is your new knight. She stands tall, her presence commanding and imposing. Her black hair, cut sharply to her chin, frames a face with striking green eyes that, despite their beauty, seem oddly lifeless.
“She is Princess [Name], my daughter. We are forever glad you have chosen to take care of her,” your father smiles, causing the knight’s attention to shift over to you.
Her eyes seem to brighten the moment they land on you, a flicker of emotion breaking through their initial emptiness.
“Hey, Princess. I’m Toji Fushiguro, yer new knight. I won’t hesitate to do anythin’ for ya,” she promises, bowing down on one knee. The sincerity in her voice is unmistakable, and her words carry a weight that leaves you momentarily speechless.
Your father places a reassuring hand on your shoulder. “Toji comes highly recommended. Her skills and loyalty are unparalleled,” he says, his voice filled with confidence.
You nod, still taking in the sight of your new protector. “Thank you, Toji. I hope we can work well together,” you manage to say, your voice steady despite the whirlwind of emotions inside you.
Toji rises, her gaze never leaving yours. “I’ll make sure of it, Princess,” she replies firmly, her eyes holding a promise that makes you feel both safe and unsettled.
Your father watches the exchange with a satisfied expression, clearly hopeful that this new arrangement will provide you with the protection and companionship you need.
Your father gives your shoulder a gentle squeeze before speaking. “I must attend to some matters now, but I trust Toji to take care of you in my absence. Be well, my dear,” he says, pressing a kiss to your forehead before exiting the room.
You watch as he leaves, the door closing behind him with a soft click. Now, it's just you and Toji in the quiet room. The air feels heavy with unspoken words.
Toji straightens up, her imposing figure seeming even taller now that you’re alone. She studies you intently, her green eyes no longer dull but filled with a keen interest.
“Must be a difficult time for you, Princess,” Toji says, her voice softening. “But I want ya to know that ‘m here to protect you, no matter what.”
You take a deep breath, trying to steady your nerves. “Thank you, Toji. I… I appreciate it,” you reply, feeling a mix of gratitude and unease.
Toji steps closer, her presence almost overwhelming. “If there’s anythin’ ya need, anythin’ at all, you can always come to me,” she assures you, her tone unwavering.
You nod, feeling a bit more at ease with her words. “I will, Toji. Thank you,” you say, your voice a bit more confident now.
She gives a small nod, a hint of a smile playing on her lips. “Wanna take a walk, Princess? Might help clear yer mind,” she suggests, her eyes never leaving yours.
You agree, thinking the fresh air might do you some good. “Yes, that sounds like a good idea,” you say, feeling a bit more hopeful as you take the first step toward building a new relationship with your new knight.
You and Toji step outside, the cool breeze a welcome change from the stuffy atmosphere inside. The garden paths are familiar, but today they seem different with your new knight by your side. The silence between you is thick and awkward, stretching with each step.
Finally, you decide to break the silence. “So, Toji, where are you from?” you ask, glancing up at her.
Toji looks down at you, her expression softening a bit. “I’m from a small village, not too far from here. Grew up rough, but it made me tough,” she replies, her voice casual and relaxed.
You nod, taking in her words. “How long have you been a knight?” you continue, curious about her background.
“To be honest, not that long,” Toji admits with a shrug. “But I’ve been fightin’ and protectin’ people for as long as I can remember. Just didn’t have the title.”
Her informal way of speaking catches you off guard, but it also makes her seem more approachable. “What made you decide to become a knight?” you ask, genuinely interested.
Toji smirks, a glint of mischief in her eyes. “I was forced too, I guess. Family debt. Plus, I heard about ya and thought, why not? Needed someone strong watchin’ your back,” she says, her tone half-joking but with a serious undercurrent.
You blush slightly at her words, not sure how to respond. “Well, I’m glad you’re here. I feel safer already,” you admit, feeling a bit more comfortable around her.
Toji chuckles, a warm sound that eases the tension. “Good. That’s my job, after all,” she says, giving you a reassuring smile. “Anything else ya wanna know, Princess?”
You think for a moment, then ask, “What do you like to do in your free time?”
“Free time, huh? Don’t get much of that, but when I do, I like trainin’. Keepin’ my skills sharp. And maybe a good drink every now and then,” Toji answers with a wink.
You laugh softly, finding her honesty refreshing. “Sounds like you know how to have fun,” you comment, feeling the awkwardness between you dissipate.
Toji grins, her green eyes sparkling. “Stick with me, Princess, and you might learn a thing or two about havin’ fun,” she teases, making you smile despite yourself.
As you walk, the thought of visiting the village crosses your mind. You turn to Toji with a hopeful smile. “Toji, could we go to the village? I haven’t been there in a while.”
Toji's expression shifts, her eyes losing their earlier warmth. For a moment, they seem almost lifeless, just like they had when you first met her. “The village, huh? You sure 'bout that, Princess?” she asks, her tone flat.
You nod enthusiastically. “Yes, I’d love to see the village and the people again.”
Toji sighs, clearly not thrilled with the idea. “Alright, fine. But stick close, kay? Don’t want anyone messin’ with you,” she grumbles, reluctantly agreeing.
As you reach the village, the atmosphere changes. The villagers recognize you, and smiles and waves greet you from every direction. Children run up to you, their faces beaming with excitement. You laugh and play with them, enjoying the carefree moments.
Toji stands nearby, her eyes scanning the surroundings with a protective intensity. Her posture remains tense, clearly uncomfortable with the number of people around you.
While you’re chatting with the children, a village boy approaches, his eyes full of admiration. “Hello, Princess. You look even more beautiful today,” he says, his voice smooth and charming.
Before you can respond, Toji steps closer, her presence looming over the boy. She glares at him, her green eyes cold and unyielding. “Scram,” she growled.
The boy’s confidence falters, and he quickly backs away, muttering an apology before disappearing into the crowd.
You glance at Toji, who’s still scowling. “Toji, you didn’t have to scare him off like that,” you say, trying to hide a smile.
Toji huffs, crossing her arms. “Don’t trust those types, Princess. He was trouble,” she mutters, her protectiveness evident.
You shake your head, a mix of amusement and exasperation. “Well, thank you for looking out for me, Toji. I appreciate it.”
Toji’s expression softens slightly, and she gives you a curt nod. “yer welcome, princess. Y’know I got ya,”
The afternoon passes with you mingling with the villagers, enjoying their company and the simplicity of their lives. You play a few more games with the children, their laughter filling the air, while Toji keeps a watchful eye from a distance. Despite her intimidating presence, some of the villagers approach her, offering small gestures of thanks and friendliness.
Eventually, as the sun begins to set, you decide it’s time to head back to the castle. “Toji, I think we should go back now,” you say, waving goodbye to the children.
Toji nods, her relief barely hidden. “Sure thing, Princess. Let’s get you home,” she replies, her voice softer now.
The walk back is quiet, the evening air cooling the day's warmth. You steal a glance at Toji, noticing her tension has eased slightly. “You know, Toji, it was nice being out here today. I think it helped me feel a bit better,” you admit, hoping to bridge the gap between you two.
Toji looks at you, a small, genuine smile tugging at her lips. “Glad to hear that, Princess. You deserve some happiness after all you’ve been through.”
You smile back, feeling a sense of camaraderie forming. “Thank you, Toji. For everything.”
She shrugs, trying to play it cool. “Just doin’ my job. But… yer welcome.”
As you approach the castle gates, the sight of the grand structure fills you with a mix of comfort and sorrow. You know that inside, the memories of Hiro still linger, but having Toji by your side makes it a bit more bearable.
Once inside, you turn to Toji. “I think I’ll retire to my room for the night. It’s been a long day,” you say, feeling the exhaustion set in.
Toji nods, her eyes still watching you with that protective gleam. “Alright, Princess. I’ll be outside if ya need anything.”
You smile warmly. “Goodnight, Toji.”
“Goodnight, Princess. Rest well,” she replies, giving you a respectful bow before you head to your room.
In the quiet of your chamber, you reflect on the day’s events. The grief of losing Hiro is still there, but for the first time, you feel a glimmer of hope. With Toji by your side, you’re beginning to believe that things might just be alright.

Justice for Isaac Mendez: Why Heroes? Why Now?
Tumblr media
First off you may be wondering: "Why Heroes? Why Now?" Well I'll tell you why...there has been a grave injustice done to one of the most central characters of the series. Yes, series, not first season. I'm a first time watcher, yes, in the year 2024. I need no judgement. It takes me a while to move on from one show obsession to the next. Although, I can't say I'm obsessed with Heroes just yet. There are some questionable moments that just got me thinking: "Do other people feel this way?” “Was Tumblr around in 2006?” “What would everyone's popular opinions have been?” I'm mid-way through Season 4 at the moment and the only thing I can think about when I watch the show is..."Justice for Isaac Mendez". I believe he was a character with such great potential that was never fully realized. And, then when we thought he had a grasp on his abilities he was just written off in the most uncharacteristic way possible. I don’t know about any behind-the-scenes details. Aside from the writers strike during Season 2 which caused a shortened run, 11 episodes as opposed to 20+. But, not knowing what happened on the production side of things, shouldn’t matter. As a viewer of a show I should be able to understand decisions characters made, but there are so many out of pocket moments. It's like the writers don't even know there own characters. The end of Season 1? Made no sense. Because of the writers decisions, they completely pivoted the directions of all the characters and I'd say mostly not for the better. Do I need to voice my opinions on this topic? No. Could I have just left all of my thoughts to ruminate in my head? Sure, but where is the fun in that? I wanted to share these thoughts in hopes of finding others who understand my POV. It would also be great to learn more about other perspectives from viewers of the show. At the end of the day is it that serious? No. But, in a world that is nothing but serious I need a light distraction to escape the actual injustices of the world. So, we’ll focus my energies on just discussing whatever comes to my mind on a certain day. Whether it’s to discuss why Isaac was the most central character in the series, or why his abilities shouldn’t be replicated, or why he would never have tried to shoot Peter or Simone….so many topics to dive into. And, that’s just on Isaac. Matt Parkman…the amount of injustice done to that man…I just feel bad for him at that point. And, why name his wife Janice?Never mind I’ll save that for another post. Peter Petrelli? I'm supposed to route for him, why is he such an inconsistent person? I have more sympathy for Nathan Peterelli and he was supposed to be evil at one point. Don't forget Hiro..."You already bad guy! You are villain - villain!" Don't get me wrong I like the show, Hiro and Ando the best dynamic duo who have the most memorable lines of comic relief. But, even all of there most iconic lines can't cover up all of the odd plot lines and character decisions. I'm not even going to say bad writing. I'm going to say underdeveloped storylines. It's a show with such great potential, but it was botched in my mind. Season 1 was almost perfect to me, but the following seasons just went downhill. It makes me sad. Tim Kring, you had such wonderful ideas. You created this show. It's such an original idea, I was captivated, then I felt like my heart was being toyed with because all the characters I've come to enjoy just started acting out of sorts. But, you probably get the point now. I’ll just be posting my random thoughts as someone who has yet to finish the series, but will be doing so probably in the next few days. More updates to come after.

Tadaima, Okaeri Ep 7 Stray Thoughts
Last week, Masaki wanted to go to his hometown at the request of his uncle. He brought along his family, Yuki, and Matsu, because he wanted to bring them to his parents’ grave so they could see his happiness. Things were going well until Masaki’s beta cousin showed up to a jerk the entire time. We left at Hiromu putting that man in his place for being so disrespectful and rude to Masaki.
NAME OF THE SHOW AS THE EPISODE! LET’S GO!!!
Hiromu remains so good at acknowledging Masaki’s feelings while simultaneously redirecting his focus back to the beautiful life they’re building.
“Caring about someone for real is actually is actually kind of hard, isn’t it?” Not the omegaverse dads BL crushing me with poignancy.
I love Hikari. He slapped that rude man’s hand away and said “Don’t touch my papa.”
That was a decent apology. The rude cousin can move on now.
This is a lovely shot of Masaki’s family tending to his parents’ grave.
Of course Hiromu has been waiting for the day he got to tell Hikari that Masaki and he are already married.
Love that the book on marriage features two women getting married.
Incredible. Now we’re renewing vows.
I absolutely love that they’re letting Hikari attempt an errand on his own. It’s fantastic that they’re letting his develop independence this way. It’s even funnier that he got easily distracted and kept coming back.
It gets me every time how strongly Hikari responds to Hiro’s faith in him when he asks Hikari to fulfill a task or responsibility.
Love Hiromu getting in another dig on his dad with the letter.
Every week this show gives me the emotional boost to make it through the rest of the week. I’ve never been so thankful for a gentle BL on a Monday.

i have decided that My Adventures with Superman and Big Hero 6 exist in the same universe because can you imagine.
can you imagine how much Clark would remind Hiro of Tadashi and his desire to help people no matter what. can you imagine Clark seeing this incredibly brilliant kid who took on the dreams and passions of his older brother in the wake of his death and was later saved by the love of that same brother, a love that reached beyond the grave through Baymax and did for Hiro what no one could do for him. can you imagine Clark seeing another 14-year-old boy with the weight of the world on his shoulders and immediately seeing himself. can you imagine the meeting of "i can't save everyone but i can try" and "i couldn't save him but i can live for him".
can you just imagine.

while i'm not 100% locked in on this design, i did want to do some departures from the original "fallen" design, as seen in the zine, while keeping some key features, like the glasses and an open back design to allow for the wings.
some notes:
"why white hair?" mostly to contrast his original design! i knew i wanted off white/cream main wings, and i thought that making the head wings and his hair white to match would look cool.
"why DID you have him wearing those glasses?" because they looked awesome and tied the red further into the design of the original! i wanted to keep them here, too, as an homage. these ones are still tinted lenses.
the second pair of wings are also just a different color for contrast. since they're so close to the main pair, i didn't want them to have similar values. plus, the brown just gives me an excuse to tie in the brown elsewhere. i think of it like he has a small pair of hawk wings that are mostly for status, but idk.
as a timeline for "how the hell did he end up like this"... just so i can get it out of my brain and down on something tangible, it would go like this: zeus and hiro meet as kids, and zeus only mentions to hiro that he is a prince, but never mentions that he's a prince of the hells to him. they grow very close, but due to the unfortunate circumstances of infernal beings existing among mortals, zeus and his family had to fake their deaths and go back to the hells. zeus didn't have time to tell hiro the truth beforehand, so when hiro came to visit zeus the next day, the only thing he found was a bunch of graves and a horrible scar on his heart. about 10 years later, a grown-up zeus appears in front of hiro, and reveals his true nature to him, and it causes a LOT of mixed feelings for hiro. at some point, their relationship becomes romantic, and they stay together for a while. there is still a pit in hiro's stomach, thinking that zeus will have to eventually leave him again. unexpectedly, hiro [REDACTED] and dies, but the goodness in his soul makes him turn into an angel first. it takes him a while, but he sneaks out of heaven and runs to find his lover in the hells, losing his divinity in the process. then they get reunited. yayyyyy.
yes i will insert jay into this whenever i feel like giving her a design for it. she will rend heaven and earth for her besties to be happy so idk what i'd make her just yet.

matsukawa issei’s shoelaces are always untied. this is not a miles morales conscious choice it’s just a consequence of his existence a fact of life: his hair sticks up funny where he sleeps on it he flirts with hanamaki takahiro and his shoes never stay tied. during games on the train in the middle of a crosswalk walking hiro home in the frozen aisle of the grocery store racing iwaizumi to the end of the street sneaking into school after hours kicking his feet on the edge of his roof tripping up the stairs even sitting down to eat lunch every time he looks down no matter what he does his shoes are always untied. he’s cursed probably. double knot triple knot doesn’t matter they’re untied after ten steps he doesn’t care anymore he gave up trying if he falls it’s fate and takahiro will laugh at him so it’s all worth it.
hanamaki takahiro only ever laces his shoes unconventionally. the standard criss-cross over-under lace pattern is lame and boring and overdone and he’s too cool for that but he’s also lazy as fuck so he never switches it up just settles on an unconventional pattern for each pair or individual shoe. his low top pink vans are ladder laced his volleyball shoes have an interlocking zipper look his high top black converse have a pentagram on the left foot and a knot in the middle of the laces on his right foot bc he tangled them up and decided that was good enough. he only ever single knots his shoes bc double knots take too long to undo and if they ever come untied issei (literally) trips over himself to retie them goldilocks not too loose not too tight hiro’s foot on his lap they both win. he may never retie his own but he will absolutely tie other people’s shoes together slip under the table while they’re distracted left shoe right shoe and then wait patiently. some have called this prank “childish, disrespectful, immature, and someone could seriously get hurt!!” (oikawa, victim) and “unoriginal and fucking annoying.” (iwaizumi, not a victim) and “niiice.” (issei, co-conspirator) takahiro just grins and waits for the next opportunity.
iwaizumi hajime ties his shoes exactly one (1) time double knotted when he first gets them and from that point on just slips them on and off his feet. it’s fast it’s easy why the fuck would he do it any other way if he doesn’t have to. this is Always the case for his normal shoes no matter how much oikawa complains about it but he will occasionally retie his volleyball shoes when they get loose bc he’d rather sacrifice 30 seconds of his time than his entire athletic career. aside from vball he only owns black shoes bc they go with everything and they don’t get dingy looking and he doesn’t really care he prioritizes comfort over style just in general. the only exception to this are his skating shoes: a pair of brown and white nike dunks tooru got him for his birthday one year bc he “needs at least Some color in your wardrobe”. he actually really likes them plus they’re easy to slip on and off even if he wanted to start tying his shoes again the knots have been there for so long they’ve cemented themselves together he dug this grave now he’s lying in it there is no going back.
oikawa tooru ties his shoes with the bunny ears method he sings the song in his head every time he does it and always double knots. his shoes are always pretty clean and he he puts them on in a very specific order: left sock right sock left shoe right shoe tie left shoe tie right shoe. this pattern is a mixture of consistency and superstition and if it ain’t broke don’t fix it and also it took him years to learn his left from his right and this helps him remember. he ties them nice and tight they almost never come undone it’s not that hard (issei) and the tread at his toes always is always worn off cuz he fidgets his feet on the ground when he’s sitting still. hajime slipping his shoes on pisses tooru off bc first of all that’s not what they’re fucking made to do second they’re gonna get loose and won’t have ankle support and it scrapes up your fingers and third it means iwa is ready to go way too fast and gripes at him to hurry up whenever they go somewhere and tooru does Not appreciate being rushed let him put his shoes on in peace!!!

The Kaminari Theory
im sure all of you that clicked on this are here because you thought I was just talking about Denki.. Not exactly.
So, I'm certain you all are familiar with the popular yellow-haired Boku no Hiro Akademia character with the electricity quirk, our beloved Denki Kaminari. But, I'm willing to bet you don't know who this guy right here is.
Tumblr media
Well, as you guys can see, this guy is from the popular anime Kimetsu no Yaiba. For those of you who do not recognize him, he is the Sengoku-era thunder hashira, Shin KAMINARI. My theory is that our beloved Denki Kaminari is a direct descendant of the Sengoku-era thunder hashira, Shin Kaminari. Think about it. Thunder breathing = Electrification. And their last names are the same. This might just be a wild theory of mine, but I'm willing to bring it to the grave with me.

Hiro: My mother once "threatened" to make my brother (9) and I (3) sleep outside if we didn't get our room cleaned up. So we decided that we should probably spend the rest of the day preparing to sleep outside because that would be WAY easier than cleaning our room. Our bright idea was to dig holes for us to sleep in so we could cover ourselves in leaves and sticks to act as blankets. So instead of my mom finding her sons cleaning their room, she found them digging their own graves in the backyard.

Toutes les chansons ont un sens
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Fandom : Fairy Tail

Disclaimer : Fairy Tail appartient à Hiro Mashima.

-Maman, tu me serres trop fort ! »
Fin
