This Is So Awesome . . Goten is a thick-skulled birdbrain except when his ascertation and deliverance of cold hard facts serve to undermine Trunks's legitimacy.
Not to mention that that's just the applied convention and general take. In all actuality Goten is and has always been a crafty witch. He's just also honestly daft. But he's a quick-witted witch
I'll tell you what. Goten would never walk into a goon. He's never been flustered enough to. He's daft but upfront about it. If he's confused he'll stop and scratch his head. Trunks will plow forward with what little info he has however and he'll force it to work. And he'll cover his ass and have his facade shatter when he walks into a goon
