How Sassenach blend beaten Gordon & MacPhail, the World's Leading Malt Whisky Specialist.
Sassenach's whisky has gained the Master of Malt bottle/brand whisky contest beating @gordonandmacphail thanks to Sam’s fans' votes without tasting his whisky 🥃 This is the only way SH and his Sassenach whisky could win the contest, against one of the oldest independent bottlers in Scotland. MoM tried to do the same in the iconic 2022 whisky contest, but they knocked Sassenach out in the third round, to the despair of SH’s foreign fans.
Now, in 2023, MoM invented an original modality to once again place Sassenach in a new contest, which won with fixed majorities. MoM should perceive that this award to Sassenach has nothing to do with whisky in this annual contest, but with Sam Heughan, the actor in a vote of many “women of a certain age”, who have never tasted his whisky or don’t know another whisky reference but bought it to satisfy him. Posting his bottles on the internet for Sam to answer. I wonder why?. An expensive blend, when you're better off spending your money on a decent single malt whisky, and not letting your emotions guide your decision to elect a blended whisky when you don't know any other samples. Take this as a lesson for next year and don’t let this contest turn into a joke, putting your nepotism to work. MoM is the UK online retailer selling SH’s Sassenach Whisky and trying to make Sassenach Whisky stand out in the UK market, above others, with Sam’s fans' votes.
It is unfair for whiskies, distilleries, brands or bottles to participate in MoM contests when are fixed votes. This can be a hobby, but even gaming needs to be serious. MoM does not need to insist on placing Sassenach Whisky in the 2024 contest, Just give Sassenach Whisky the award in advance and don’t waste time wearing down serious competitors.
It says a lot that nearly every brand involved has offered a discount, but The Sassenach remains overpriced. It's impossible to ignore. Proves the vote has just been fun only for Master of Malt.

“God’s love is ministered to most people through the love of our fellow human beings […] Our spiritual journey is a shared one.”
𝕼𝖚𝖆𝖐𝖊𝖗 𝕱𝖆𝖎𝖙𝖍 𝖆𝖓𝖉 𝕻𝖗𝖆𝖈𝖙𝖎𝖈𝖊
↳ 22.29 Gordon Macphail, 1989
Almost started crying because I was thinking about how I'll never be able to physically kiss Jesus's hands (I would have made a superb ecstatic mystic). But my boyfriend's strong hands are right here, in mine. And I can talk to my bestfriend late into the night just like I would talk to God in a prayer and her voice will answer back. I think it's imperative that we take our love and devotion to the divine and project it outward. What is the point of devoting your life to 12 hrs of prayer a day or poverty or silence if it does not move you to enrich the lives of others? Serving the Light we find in each other is the chief way to serve the Savior. Kiss Him by kissing the hands of those you love, see His face in the ones who need you, listen when He speaks through others, and so forth

Gordon & MacPhail to shift away from independent bottling
Per The Herald, Gordon & MacPhail, one of Scotland’s oldest independent bottlers, has announced recently that, starting in 2024, it will no longer fill casks from distilleries it does not own. The firm has been in the whisky brokering business for most of its existence, and has been bottling single malts from distilleries both widely known and far more obscure for many decades. With the…

I would withhold detailed comment as I enjoyed conversation. Slightly leaf mod and soft malty, faintly peach.
