Scar runs on a complex internal timer that is always either in "ticks since last crime" mode or "ticks until next crime" mode. The timer only has four spaces for digits and there are 20 ticks per second, so he's a very busy man.

There is also the added bonus that if you always sound like you've just committed a crime, people get used to it and don't always notice the times you have actually stolen their shulker box full of Bdubs heads.
