Find the big deals on hotel booking at first central hotel suites
Finding big deals on hotel bookings at First Central Hotel Suites in Dubai can be a rewarding process if you know the right strategies. Whether you are a frequent traveler or planning a special vacation, there are several ways to secure fantastic deals, ensuring you get the most out of your stay without breaking the bank. Located in the vibrant Tecom area, First Central Hotel Suites offers modern and comfortable accommodations, making it a popular choice for both business and leisure travelers. Here’s how to find big deals on hotel bookings at First Central Hotel Suites.
Book Directly Through the Hotel’s Website One of the best ways to get big deals on your stay at First Central Hotel Suites is by booking directly through their official website. Many hotels, including First Central, offer exclusive promotions and discounts to guests who make their reservations through the hotel’s own booking platform rather than third-party sites. These deals often include lower room rates, complimentary breakfast, and sometimes even additional perks like free Wi-Fi or access to hotel amenities.
First Central Hotel Suites may also offer discounts for longer stays, allowing guests to save more if they book for an extended period. Always keep an eye on the website’s promotions section, as hotels often run seasonal or limited-time deals that aren’t available elsewhere.
Use Price Comparison Websites Another effective way to find big deals is by utilizing price comparison websites such as Booking.com, Agoda, or Expedia. These platforms allow you to search for the best prices available on different dates and offer price filters to match your budget. Many price comparison websites also feature user reviews, which can provide valuable insights into the quality of the hotel, ensuring you get good value for your money.
Some price comparison websites offer a “price match guarantee” where they match the price if you find a lower rate on another platform. This feature can help you secure the lowest possible rate for your stay at First Central Hotel Suites. Additionally, these platforms often have their own discounts and offers, such as early booking deals or free cancellations, giving you more flexibility in your plans.
Look for Last-Minute Deals If you have a flexible travel schedule, searching for last-minute deals can be a great way to find big discounts at First Central Hotel Suites. Many hotels lower their prices if rooms remain unbooked close to the check-in date. Websites like LastMinute.com or HotelTonight specialize in offering such last-minute deals. These sites feature heavily discounted rates that are ideal for spontaneous travelers or those willing to book on short notice.
Even if you’re booking through platforms like Booking.com or Agoda, it’s worth checking their last-minute sections, as hotels often drop prices within a week or two of the desired booking dates to fill up any available rooms.
Take Advantage of Loyalty Programs Loyalty programs can play a key role in securing big deals at First Central Hotel Suites, especially if you’re a frequent traveler. Many hotel chains and booking platforms offer rewards or loyalty programs that give you access to exclusive member rates, free upgrades, and additional perks like complimentary meals or late check-outs.
While First Central Hotel Suites may not belong to a global hotel chain, some booking platforms or credit card companies offer points or rewards for stays at partner hotels. By accumulating points through these programs, you can redeem them for discounts on future bookings or even free nights. Check if your credit card offers special travel benefits or rewards for hotel bookings to maximize savings.
Book During Off-Peak Seasons Timing your trip to Dubai can have a major impact on hotel rates. The peak tourist season in Dubai is from November to March, when the weather is cooler and ideal for outdoor activities. During these months, hotel prices tend to rise due to increased demand. However, if you’re looking for big deals, consider booking your stay at First Central Hotel Suites during the off-peak months, particularly in the summer (June to August).
Though temperatures soar during this time, Dubai’s many indoor attractions, malls, and air-conditioned spaces make it easy to enjoy the city despite the heat. Hotels like First Central often offer huge discounts during the summer to attract guests, with rates sometimes reduced by as much as 50%. Off-peak deals can include not just lower room rates but also additional perks like complimentary breakfast, free upgrades, or discounted access to hotel amenities like the swimming pool and gym.
Look for Special Promotions and Packages First Central Hotel Suites often runs special promotions and packages that offer substantial savings. These can include deals for extended stays, family packages, or seasonal promotions for holidays and events like New Year’s or Dubai Shopping Festival. It’s worth checking the hotel’s website or contacting them directly to inquire about any ongoing promotions.
For instance, some packages might offer discounted rates for booking a suite or offer free meals for families with children. Others might include bundled experiences like complimentary tours, airport transfers, or spa treatments. These special deals can significantly enhance the value of your stay, especially if you plan to use the included amenities or services.
Use Travel Deal Websites Websites like Groupon and Cobone frequently offer deals for hotel stays, including at hotels like First Central Hotel Suites. These sites often feature flash sales or limited-time offers that provide deep discounts on accommodations. The deals can also include packages that bundle meals, spa services, and other extras, making it a great option for travelers looking to save big.
Signing up for deal newsletters from these websites can help you stay updated on the latest offers. Many of these deals are exclusive to the platform and aren’t available directly through the hotel or other booking sites, so it’s worth exploring these options when planning your trip.
Conclusion Finding big deals on hotel bookings at First Central Hotel Suites in Dubai is achievable through a variety of strategies. Whether you choose to book directly through the hotel’s website, use price comparison platforms, or take advantage of loyalty programs and last-minute deals, there are numerous ways to save. Consider traveling during off-peak seasons and exploring special promotions or package deals to get the most out of your stay. By applying these tips, you can enjoy an affordable yet comfortable and memorable experience at First Central Hotel Suites.

"Unlock the Secrets of Cheap Gatwick Airport Parking"
Are you tired of shelling out a small fortune just to park your vehicle at Gatwick Airport? The good news is that you don't have to break the bank for the sake of convenience. In this article, we will reveal the secrets to securing affordable and stress-free Gatwick Airport parking. Get ready to learn how to save big on Cheap Gatwick Airport Parking without sacrificing quality.
The Pricey Parking Predicament
Gatwick Airport, one of the busiest airports in the United Kingdom, is a gateway to exciting destinations worldwide. However, the cost of parking at the airport has often left travelers with a bitter taste in their mouths. High parking fees can eat into your travel budget, making your journey less enjoyable.
Secret 1: Book in Advance
The first key to unlocking cheap Gatwick Airport parking is to plan ahead. Booking your parking spot well in advance can result in substantial savings. Gatwick Airport offers a variety of parking options, including on-site parking and off-site alternatives. Booking early allows you to choose from a wider selection of parking deals and ensures you secure the lowest rates.
Secret 2: Compare Parking Options
Not all parking options are created equal. Gatwick Airport provides a range of parking choices to cater to different needs and budgets. These options typically include:
On-Site Parking: Ideal for travelers who prefer to park close to the terminal.
Off-Site Parking: A more budget-friendly option located slightly further from the airport. Shuttle services are often available to transport you to and from the terminals.
Meet and Greet Services: The ultimate in convenience, where a valet meets you at the terminal and parks your car for you.
Compare the prices and benefits of each option to find the best fit for your trip. Remember, Cheap Gatwick Airport Parking doesn't necessarily mean compromising on convenience.
Secret 3: Use Promotional Codes and Discounts
Many parking providers offer promotional codes and discounts that can significantly reduce your parking expenses. Keep an eye out for these promotions on the official Gatwick Airport website and from reputable parking providers. Joining frequent traveler programs can also yield additional savings.
Secret 4: Consider Park and Stay Packages
If you have an early flight, consider staying at a nearby hotel that offers "Park and Stay" packages. These packages often include one night's accommodation and parking for the duration of your trip. It's a convenient and cost-effective solution, especially if you live a considerable distance from the airport.
Secret 5: Travel During Off-Peak Times
Traveling during off-peak times can also lead to cheaper Gatwick Airport parking rates. Weekdays, especially mid-week, tend to be less busy and therefore less expensive than weekends and peak travel seasons.
In Conclusion
Unlocking the secrets of Cheap Gatwick Airport Parking is all about planning, comparison, and smart choices. By booking in advance, comparing your options, utilizing discounts, considering park and stay packages, and traveling during off-peak times, you can enjoy substantial savings while still enjoying the convenience of parking at Gatwick Airport.
Say goodbye to exorbitant parking fees and hello to affordable, stress-free travel. Your journey starts with securing the perfect parking spot at the right price, so start planning your next adventure with confidence. Affordable Gatwick Airport parking is within your reach – you just need to know where to find it!

Giant manta ray
Tumblr media
Giant manta ray free#
Basing yourself where you want to spend every sunset is a great idea. One is a luxury pick, one is a value selection and the last recommendation I have for you is where I recommend for the budget backpackers.Īnanta Bungalow – Value: The Ananta Bungalow is an awesome location right next to Crystal Bay, which is the best sunset beach on Nusa Penida and where the Manta Ray and snorkel trips launch off from. All three of these spots are in great locations but each one is a little different. I’m going to recommend three places to stay on Nusa Penida.
Giant manta ray free#
Save money on Nusa Penida by staying at an Airbnb! Get a FREE $40 Airbnb Coupon by using my code when you book! For just $63 (or even $45 if you are traveling in a group of 6), the top-rated Nusa Penida Day Tour includes hotel pick-up and drop-off from Bali, lunch, boat transfers and your guide. If you are staying in Bali. but still want to spend a day or two experiencing how epic Nusa Penida is, you can take a day trip on a speedboat to Nusa Penida and tour around the sights for the day (or stay for the night) with a guide before returning back to Bali in the evening. You definitely need to spend at least 2 days if not 4!! This way you can fully explore all of these cool spots rather than just getting a glimpse at each location. The first time I only came for one day (7 hours) and this was a huge mistake. To book it online in advance for the guaranteed lowest price you can click the link below to reserve your ticket.īook your ticket: Sanur(Bali) to Nusa Lembongan/Nusa Penida Ferry The ferry leaves multiple times per day from Sanur (east Bali) If you book it in advance often you can have your pick-up from the hotel included. I think this was even better than swimming with Whale Sharks in the Philippines. We hung out in the bay until we could hardly swim anymore. The Manta Ray isn’t dangerous but it is still intimidating when a 5-meter creature swims straight at you before ducking away at the last moment. The Manta Rays will often actually head straight for you and then dart off to the side at the last minute. The Manta Rays always seem playful and loop back again and again unlike turtles or fish, which often swim away at the sight of humans. More than five Manta Rays playfully looped around the bay, entertaining the group of snorkelers. When we jumped into the water we were immediately staring face to face with a giant Manta Ray, which is one of the most majestic creatures of the ocean. Once we arrived at Manta Point, the captain looked for any Manta Rays and they are very good at spotting them before you even have your snorkel ready. Our boat drove us the 20 minutes to Manta Point as we took in the beautiful coastline of Nusa Penida. I have experienced the tour both from Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan and both were very relaxing and great experiences. MY EXPERIENCE SNORKELING WITH MANTA RAYS AT MANTA POINT To book a tour on Lembongan, head down into the main street and you will find many tour offices who all sell the tour at the same price more or less. To book a tour from Nusa Penida just head down to Crystal Bay and find a vendor as that is where you will launch off from. You can book a tour locally if you are already on Nusa Penida or Nusa Lembongan. The critter was caught when it became fouled on the anchor line of the "Miss Pensacola II" and was unable to free itself.BOOK A SNORKEL TOUR WITH MANTA RAYS AT MANTA POINT FROM NUSA LEMBONGAN OR PENIDA It was reported to have weighed over 6,000 pounds and measured 30 feet across the wing. The Great Manta was captured by Captain A.L. Manta Rays are among the most intelligent fish in the sea. The 26-foot-long Manta had to be transported by a tow truck because of its size. It is reported that the creature swam into the fishermen's net. They have caught a huge Oceanic Manta Ray, which weighed over a ton. In 2015, a group of fishermen in Peru have made a pretty big find. This ray however, died due to exhaustion and struggle. The Oceanic Manta Ray measured about 16 and a half feet in width and weighed about 3,300 pounds. In 2008, Hainan Sanya, China, a local fisherman took 3 hours to pull back his net into the boat and caught one of the largest Manta Rays ever.

This will enable you to focus your search and make the most of the time you have to find and reserve a hotel room. - Being on a tight budget does not automatically mean you will book a subpar lodging facility. For visitors on a budget, there are actually a lot of discounted options available. - On the other hand, you might be traveling for work and be able to charge your lodging to your employer's account. A reasonable hotel rate might not be as important to you in this situation. Consider the accommodations you'll need during your visit. Do you need enough space for yourself, or do you need space for a family of four? Think about how big you want the hotel room to be, as well as how many beds and bathrooms you'll need. It's possible that you'll need two queen beds and one spacious bathroom if you're traveling with your family. If you are traveling alone, you might only need a queen bed and a bathroom with a reasonable size. Call the hotel to find out if they offer or are wheelchair accessible if you need disability amenities. Think about whether you need additional amenities like a spa or a fitness center. If you require a reliable internet connection, search for hotels that include free Wi-Fi in their nightly rates. Consider renting a suite with a separate living room and bedroom if you are traveling with a large group or family to ensure that everyone can stay together without worrying about privacy or space issues. Decide on your ideal neighborhood or location. Budget or necessary accommodations may not always take precedence over location, especially if you're looking for somewhere convenient. Are you trying to find a hotel near a conference or business event? Are you trying to find a hotel near a certain tourist destination? You might choose to stay in a central or downtown area, which will make it simple for you to get to other parts of the city. Alternatively, you might opt for a more remote area where you can enjoy some privacy while still having easy access to the main parts of town via car or foot. If you're going on business, you might choose to look for hotels close to a meeting or conference. Look for hotels that are close to popular attractions if you are traveling for leisure, or hotels that offer packages that include car rentals so you can easily get around. Look up hotels online. Searching for hotels online using a hotel search engine is the quickest method. You can use these search engines to specify your intended travel days, the number of nights you need, your preferred location, and any amenities you may need. Additionally, you can state the maximum amount you are willing to pay for the hotel. - You will see a variety of hotel choices after entering this information into the search engine. You can use the map feature to look at hotels that are closer to a specific area or location, or you can arrange the options according to price, from lowest to highest. - Keep in mind that not all additional fees or surcharges for rooms are displayed by online search engines. Before deciding to book the room, read the fine print next to the price. - Members of some credit cards and AAA are given access to hotel search services and discounts. For more details, speak to your credit card provider or AAA. Utilize tools for discounted search to compare hotels. To compare numerous hotels at once, you can also use discounted search tools. Simply state your desired travel dates and budget ranges. Then, these websites will perform a search across numerous databases on your behalf and present a selection of hotels that best meet your requirements, are on sale, or have lower rates. To get a sense of the cleanliness, customer service, and amenities at the hotels you are considering, read the reviews. Compare the hotel's price and location with the reviews to see if it will suit your needs. Some discounted search tools demand that you reserve a hotel room even if you are unsure of which hotel you will be staying in. Always read the small print before making a reservation to avoid being caught off guard by any conditions or limitations. To get a better deal, call the hotel. You might be able to get a last-minute reservation or a better deal by calling the hotel directly. As you will be able to speak with the front desk and ask them specific questions about the hotel, you may also be able to get a better sense of the level of customer service provided by the hotel. As the front desk is frequently busy in the mornings and afternoons, try to call in the late evening. You might want to inquire about things like: - Exists a restaurant or bar on the property? Is breakfast a part of the daily rate? - Do you have rooms that are smoke-free? - Is the hotel close to a bus or train station? Do you provide transportation services like bike rentals? - How far is the hotel from a certain area or location, like the beach? - Which side of the hotel is quieter and has a better view? - Is the vicinity of the hotel secure? - Are there accommodations for people with disabilities? - What is the cancellation policy for the hotel? Choosing a hotel Online hotel reservations. - Once you've made your choice, you can book your hotel room online through the hotel's website. For the booking, you will need to provide basic information about yourself like your full name and the dates of your trip. - By contacting the hotel directly, you can also make a reservation. To avoid the front desk being overloaded, try calling in the late evening. - Call the hotel and ask for the front desk if you're looking for a group rate for a meeting or a wedding. Although you can frequently get better deals over the phone, many hotels do not advertise group rates online. Use your credit card to make the room payment. Numerous online reservations require credit card payment. If you're going on a business trip, you can pay for the hotel using the company credit card. Always verify whether your credit card company or AAA offers any hotel discounts so you can use them when paying for the room. If you are staying at the hotel for a lengthy period of time, you might be able to pay for the first two to three nights in advance and the remaining nights once you arrive. After that, you will need to register your credit card information and pay your bill at the front desk on the day you check out. Verify that the room is reserved. At the conclusion of your online booking session, you can print a receipt to verify the hotel room is reserved. If you make a phone reservation for the hotel, you can also request that they send you a receipt as proof of payment. Check the details of your receipt to make sure they are accurate. This includes the agreed-upon room rates and your travel dates. Before you pay for the room or reserve the room, the hotel should make clear any applicable fees and charges. The hotel should inform you of any additional fees, like a cleaning fee or a parking fee, to avoid any unpleasant surprises when you check out. About Las Vegas Accommodations: Hotels, Motels, Camping, and Airbnb
Tumblr media
About Las Vegas Accommodations Hotels, Motels, Camping, and Airbnb We changed accommodations in Las Vegas like a glove, so we changed four places in two visits and less than two weeks. They are a great option for budget-conscious travelers. Those who come to Las Vegas to splurge, for a long-awaited vacation, or simply for luxury accommodations will not use our options and have no problem choosing an expensive hotel, you just have to pay for it.It is said that Las Vegas has some of the lowest rates, even in cool hotels you can rent a room in reallocation for about $100. How so, you ask? It's all about luring you to the hotel and then to the casinos, which are located in almost every major "tourist sanctuary". That's where you have to leave a lot of money that will pay and stop you from paying for your stay. In this city, nothing is done that way.I will go back to our "LCNOutdoors website" and describe all four options in order. We have capped our rates at $60 per day, so all options are cheaper.
Camping in Lee Canyon - Hobo Options
Tumblr media
Camping in Lee Canyon - Hobo Options What does camping have to do with Las Vegas anyway? Well, it's not that far away, so if you want to hike around Las Vegas but don't want to pay for lodging and have a tent and sleeping bag, you can stay at Lee Canyon (not far from the Red Rock Canyon Wildlife Refuge). We ended up choosing this campground because we hadn't quite realized that we would be spending the night in Death Valley, where we would only be able to spend one night instead of the two nights we had planned. From Friday to Saturday, we were not in the mood to look for accommodations in Las Vegas, so we decided to spend the night at a campground. It wasn't that easy to find a place, but we did as we happened to turn off the road and saw some locals who decided to spend a weekend in nature. We came across a quasi-official campground with no name. There are several campgrounds in the park, but most of them have turned into summer closures because there is a ski resort in these parts. They must be getting ready for winter. Location: Lee Canyon, Champion Road. Facilities: No amenities, just woods. Price: Free. Pros and Cons: On the plus side, it's free and beautiful, but on the minus side, it lacks water and restrooms and is hard to find (no signage).
Airbnb Room - Budget Option
Tumblr media
Book a Room with Airbnb What is Airbnb and how does this private accommodation search site work, I have already detailed it in the guide article. We had a long and successful experience with the site, so this time we decided to spend the night in Nicole and Nate's cozy home. Why didn't we go to a hotel? Because my friend messed up the reservation and ran out of rooms for Saturday at the hotel we liked at the time he chose. However, weekends are the busiest time in Las Vegas and good options are as hot as cake, so you need to book at least a few days in advance.Airbnb has plenty of options for every taste and color, from cheap rooms in someone else's apartment or house (as in our case) to established apartments and houses that will be at your personal disposal. The only problem is the budget allocated to housing. See for yourself. On the Airbnb website, you will see all the accommodation options available on Airbnb in the United States. There, you can enter the name of the city you are interested in in the upper left corner and get a selection of accommodation in that city, in addition to the opportunity to "lookup" other parameters to choose the best option for your personal needs (image enlarged).
Accommodation in Las Vegas
We were given a nice and comfortable room in Las Vegas with a private bathroom and everything we needed. The hosts were a young couple with a small child - courteous, unobtrusive guys that we barely saw.Location: West Azul Avenue is on the northern edge of Las Vegas. A quiet and uninspiring neighborhood with no stores or cafes.Amenities: Our room had everything we needed - a bathroom, kitchen, living room, and even a pool. As a bonus, we got two well-tempered dogs.Price: $30-$50 + site fee (about $5 per day). As you can see, this is a fairly economical option by national standards, but not the cheapest for Las Vegas, except that we were worried about finding accommodations in the City of Lights at the last minute.Pros and Cons: The only con I can name is the presence of the owners, although we had very little contact with them as we were busy with our own affairs. Still, we prefer to live independently with our lovers. For some people, this may not be minus at all. On the plus side, there is a lovely comfortable room with a comfy bed (behind a tent in our opinion) and a large separate bathroom. There is access to the kitchen and pool.If you stay there, go to On the Border Mexican Restaurant (Centennial Center Blvd, Las Vegas), the food is good, the portions are huge and you can bring half for breakfast).
Stay in a Hotel - Mid-range Option
The next place to stay was the Howard Johnson Las Vegas Strip - probably the most comfortable option of our entire trip to the U.S. Howard Johnson is a chain of hotels scattered throughout the U.S. It is in the mid-range price range but in the mid-range price range. It's in the mid-range price range, but you can book a room on any promotion and it's not expensive at all.We had everything we needed and more - TV (which we never used), microwave, refrigerator, two tables, dresser, coffee maker, hairdryer, iron, bathroom supplies, and of course a comfortable queen-size bed. A nice addition was a balcony with a table and chairs. There is a swimming pool in the courtyard, a restaurant on the first floor, and a chapel in which you can have your wedding if you wish. There are laundry facilities.Price: We managed to find a room for $50 per night, including taxes, and we ended up paying a lot less than expected.Pros and Cons: Location on the main street, very comfortable rooms, clean every day, good internet access. Cons: We could not find any cons.
STAR MOTEL - Budget Option
On our second visit to Las Vegas, we decided not to book anything but to look for accommodation locally as we had seen many budget hotels and agreed that finding a suitable option would not be difficult. Initially, we noticed a couple of options in our navigator near Fremont Street and along the Strip (Howard Johnson area). The first location simply wasn't for us: first, almost all the motels in that direction were either ugly or boarded up, and second, we simply didn't like that area. Off the main street, Las Vegas looked creepy. We went that way, but there was a surprise: we were once again in Las Vegas on a Friday, which meant that starting tomorrow, the weekend started and the prices for accommodations became "weekend" prices. Automatically, everything starts costing more money. The options that fit our price were either full, no internet, or again, scary. We forced our way to the Star Motel, which met all the parameters and was not far from the Howard Johnson. We stayed there for a week because we had a lot of work to do.Amenities: everything you need to live and work - a queen bed, refrigerator, microwave (chances are they will bring it to you if you ask for it, our room turned out not to have one), closet, large desk, shower, bathroom accessories.Price. USD 60 per day 150 USD per week 550 USD per 4 weeksNewly renovated, furnished rooms available Includes. - complimentary water - Free electricity - Free Wi-Fi - Free basic cable and flat-screen TV (some rooms) - free parking - coin-operated laundry machines - cozy kitchenette (some rooms) You also have to pay a $50 refundable deposit for keys and whatever else. Pros and Cons: The cons are that the walls are very thin, so you can hear the neighbors sighing. In our case, they were two disturbed black citizens who were constantly arguing and shouting at each other and then equally loud "Yes, yes!". Overall, it was mainly black guests who were not very sympathetic in appearance. On the plus side, the location and prices were not bad.
Five Star Hotels - The Coolest Choice
Tumblr media
Five Star Hotels - The Coolest Choice As I wrote above, all of the options we tried were mostly for budget travelers. But Las Vegas is a party town, ready to welcome visitors who are in the mood to spend and have fun and spend it big, which means it offers them the appropriate level of sophistication in every aspect. This includes hotels, and believe me, a nice luxurious hotel is much easier to find in Las Vegas. The list is simply huge and the exterior decor of these giants is simply overwhelming. The best 5-star hotels in Las Vegas. - New York-New York Hotel - See the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, and Chrysler Building, and ride the roller coaster. Caesars Palace - If you want to be in the Roman Empire, this is the place to be, with its fountains, arches, statues, and porticoes. - The Venetian Las Vegas - This hotel manages to replicate a slice of Venice - there will be gondolas waiting for you, ready to offer a stroll along the "Grand" Canal. - Bellagio - A hotel with a famous singing and dancing fountain next to it. - Flamingo - Considered one of the best hotels and casinos in all of Las Vegas. It has a full pool complex and a zoo that is home to flamingos. - MGM Grand Las Vegas - This hotel and casino can be recognized by the image of a giant golden lion. The most famous singers, musicians, and performers perform here. - Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas - She spent an unforgettable few days there. From her description, I really liked Mandarins! - The STRAT Hotel - The STRAT Hotel is a hotel that can be seen from anywhere; its observation tower is one of the iconic views of Las Vegas. Here, you can enjoy soaking in a whirlwind of attractions. Of course, this is not an exhaustive list. Other hotels can be found in this table. Each of these expensive hotels has a look that is truly a work of art. Almost everyone has a built-in casino that anyone can visit, whether they plan to gamble or not, or what they look like (in a suit and tie, or in worn jeans and a long sweater). You can read more about the casinos in a separate article.
Cool Hotels for $1
Also, it's worth mentioning that you can stay cheap at many hotels in Las Vegas. Many of them run frequent promotions where you can get up to 99% off your room rate. However, there are some subtleties.Sales are usually valid for 1 or 2 days, and mostly on weekdays. The sites that book often give a price without some sort of "resort fee" payment settlement, etc., and it can often run into the tens of dollars. We spent $5 at the hotel, but the action only lasted 2 days (we needed a week) and with taxes, the cost went up to $50. You have to be very careful when booking and read the fine print about additional fees. Many hotels charge for Internet access. Rightly so, there was nothing to sit in the room, we had to go to the casino to spend or, if you were lucky, win!".As you can see, folks, the lodging options in Las Vegas are wide and varied, and no one is left out in the cold. All in all, Las Vegas is a great choice for reasonably priced luxury accommodations that don't exist in any other city in the United States. You can compare prices and find a great deal right now!Have a great time in Las Vegas, dear readers! #LCNOutdoors #Camping #Hiking #Beginners #Best #Camping #CampingTips #CampingTrips #Glamping #Hiking #Hikingtips #Hikingtrip #Planning #Tips #Travel #Traveltips #USA Author: Kenneth Link: https://www.lcnoutdoors.com/about-las-vegas-accommodations/ Source: LCN Outdoors The copyright belongs to the author. Elements of a Strong Corporate Travel Program
Tumblr media
To make the most of your corporate travel budget, it is critical to plan for leveraging your program for all it is worth. Telling travelers to settle on the lowest logical airfare is just not enough. Here are the elements that should be considered when planning or evaluating your travel process. 1 . Travel policy A well written and disseminated travel policy is the foundation of any good travel program, and additionally I am consistently amazed that so many corporations have such an outdated and poorly conceived travel policy, if they get one at all. It is not difficult to find a well written policy. One can be found online quite easily. All that remains is that it is modified to reflect corporate culture, and disseminated within the company so that everyone understands and agrees to follow it. That is why, it is a good idea to have everyone sign a copy of the travel policy to ensure that it is read, understood and run by all company staff. I suggest that everyone in the company signs a copy of the travel policy, if they travel or not. They may change positions in the company later and be required to travel. A travel policy will not need to be long or complex. Some of the best travel policies I have ever seen were only a few pages long. 2 . Centralized travel internally and externally Many companies do not centralize their travel program, and they pay a price in terms of some sort of loss of expense reduction opportunities and internal efficiencies. Many companies that do not centralize travel have a fear of in need of travelers to do something they may not want to do, along with the idea that centralizing travel will require hiring a Travel Manager. These may be legitimate concerns but they do not have to be in most cases. By requiring travelers to book centrally, you are not really causing them to lose flexibility. You can centralize travel while still allowing travelers to book on their own, either which includes a travel agency of your choice, or online through a provider that you have partnered with and have confidence in. By determining someone with the responsibility of overseeing travel, you are getting a single point of contact both internally and on the surface for travel issues. If your company spends less than $1 million in air travel, you probably do not need a full time holiday manager. In these cases, travel oversight can be given to the finance department, human resources, or even an executive level assistant. Listed here are look at the advantages to be gained by centralizing travel. When you centralize travel with a single agency, you gain in a number of fundamental ways. You will have a single point of contact for problems while travelers are on the road, and you will have one company to go to for all your travel needs. This eliminates the problem of consolidating a travel report from among several options. By bringing travel together, you will gain significantly from economies of scale. If you can measure total travel with various divisions or locations, you can get more for your money from travel suppliers. This will allow you to gain more with airline soft dollar programs, which means more free tickets and upgrades, get a higher percentage discount from some of our preferred airline, and get better negotiated rates from your hotel and car contracts. Your fulfillment costs will drop as well, as your travel agency will often discount their fees for a higher overall volume of travel. Click for more happyshuttle.com Cancun 3. Mixture of online booking and personal service This is an addendum to the previous element, which calls for centralizing travel by means of one travel agency. This is important, but in doing so, you need not require travelers to use an online booking process, and you need not require travelers to call the agency directly. By offering travelers the option of doing either, you will be accomplishing several goals. You will reduce your fulfillment costs, as online booking is cheaper in terms of a service fee. Giving travelers the option, you are giving them a sense of control, thereby increasing morale and standing a better chance of a high usage rate. Thirdly, you leave open a best practice of using your online booking engine for less complicated itineraries, and allowing senior executives, frequent travelers, and complex itineraries to be booked directly with a travel solution that can offer a higher level of service and a better overall travel experience where it is most warranted. 4. Glimpse under every stone While the bulk of most travel programs revolve around the air budget, there are several other areas one can examine to find savings opportunities. There are a couple of more obvious areas to look, such as negotiated hotel rates at your favorite places to stay, or car rental discounts with a favored supplier. Often your travel agency will already have discounted rates as a result of consortia affiliations and agency car contracts. There are also some less common areas that should be investigated. For example , if earth transportation is a concern, most suppliers will offer discounted rates and a direct billing option. Direct billing arrangements along with hotels and car rental agencies are also a great way to increase efficiencies and make the job of the accounting department better. 5. Leverage hard dollar and soft dollar contracts Most major airlines today offer hard dollar bargains as well as soft dollar incentives in exchange for company loyalty to their product. If your travel program is over $1 thousand thousand in air spend, you can secure a discount off of the lowest fares of your carrier of choice in return for a market discuss commitment. For your secondary carriers, or if your volume is less than the minimum required by the airline, you can type in to soft dollar programs for free tickets and free upgrades, as well as traveler status enhancements or airport membership passes. These programs require little in the way of volume, but they are not well publicized so you may need to hunt for them and also ask Baker Travel or your current agency to point you in the right direction. 6. Do not neglect lodging volume Hotel volume is sometimes overlooked but it should not be. Negotiated rates can be had through your travel agency or even directly with the hotel properties of your choice. Individual hotels near corporate locations will negotiate discounted rates for your needs in exchange for a minimum room/night commitment. By utilizing a travel agency, you are likely to receive discounts of 5% to 50% on thousands of hotels worldwide. 7. Have at least one car rental contract Rental car contracts are easy to get into and require little in the way of commitment from the corporation. Choose a partner that has airport locations and a reputation for terrific customer service. You can save 5-10% very easily and can also negotiate frequent renter membership for all your employees. This will make them better and enhance morale. You can also enter in to direct billing agreements at the same time that can make the jobs of your visitors and accounting staff much less stressful. 8. Understand group and meeting contracts Airlines and hotels will cut price your fares and rates when you have groups traveling together or meeting at a single destination from multiple items of origin. These meeting contracts can bring you airfare discounts of 2-10%, and if you have enough travelers using one airline, you may be able to negotiate for free tickets to be awarded at contract completion. The minimum requirement is usually 10 travelers going to the same place at the same time. Some airlines have higher minimums so be sure to ask before a agreement is generated. Hotels will discount their rates in a similar way with a minimum of 10 room nights. These discounts may well range from 10% to a much higher discount depending upon occupancy rate and seasonal variances. 9. Use reporting to constantly improve metrics Well managed travel programs require constant monitoring and financial controls to be properly leveraged. Insist upon timely and customized reports that can be designed to bring you the information you need most. By receiving regular reporting on traveller behavior and provider contract performance, you will be in a better position to fulfill contract obligations, achieve cost reduction plans and see where opportunities for future savings may lie. 10. Use all avenues to enhance traveler comfort in addition to efficiency Lastly, any well managed travel program will take in to account the comfort and productivity of their tourists. When travelers are comfortable, they can focus on their main priorities that help propel your business forward. If vacationers are happy, they perform at a higher level. Ask if your travel agency can upgrade traveler status on a desired airline. Look in to purchasing blocks of airport club passes so they can be used strategically during long and problematic itineraries. There are many ways to reward travelers for the difficult and often grueling chore of travel. These kinds of rewards generate thoughts of loyalty and increased productivity and efficiency.

Tumblr media
The motels which have everything happening can without difficulty get higher room quotes.  So the trick right here is to search for a hotel this is either round the corner or throughout the road shape in which you need to hang out, and stay there for less price when viable.  Transportation additionally makes a difference in that less expensive does not work in case you end up spending the distinction simply getting around.
So, earlier than getting commenced, you will want to invite your self some questions:
Am I visiting with the family, or is that this an all grownup excursion?  If traveling with the own family, and you'd just like the youngsters to have a very good time too, the downtown accommodations are close to Neonopolis which is a large open-air leisure center with 14 film theaters, a video and game middle, a bowling alley, a food court, and eating places.  Fitzgerald's is the closest of the affordable accommodations in this article to Neonopolis.
Do I need to be near any specific Hotel/Casino for my stay?  Please observe that among the counseled resorts are next door to, across the street from, or linked through a loose tram to most of the convention/occasion motels on the town.
Am I looking for a pampered, luxurious experience?  If so, then assume to pay more, and also you possibly may not care a lot for the less pricy motels noted right here.  Online evaluations of these hotels tend to reflect a 25% to forty% sadness fee; typically with the aid of site visitors that had been searching out extra luxury.  I even have in my view stayed at all the cited lodges.  The motels in this newsletter aren't dumps; however they're no longer top of the line both.
Will I be riding or flying into Las Vegas?  If you've got chosen to fly, not to rent a automobile, and now not to pay for several expensive taxis, then you'll need to stay in a region that is transportation pleasant.  Everything downtown is within approximately five quick blocks of every other - very walkable - and The Four Queens is smack in the center of it.  Most of the loose trolleys are by way of the inns indexed on the south end of the strip.  Bill's Gamblin' Hall is near the precise middle of The Strip.  And The Deuce (bus) runs day and night time to attach you cost effectively with another a part of The Strip.
We'll be looking at four special regions in an effort to cowl most of your favored sports, but nonetheless save on the room charge.  The areas will be: The Southern End of The Strip, Northern End of The Strip, The Downtown Area, and Nearby Neighborhoods or Off Strip Locations.  Then we will address transportation and parking.
If you'd like a few assist figuring what part of metropolis you'd like to be near, and what you would like to look or do in Las Vegas aside from visit a casino, there are numerous tips listed inside the different subtitles to this "Enjoy Las Vegas on Next To Nothing" series.  For your convenience, there's a listing at the stop of this text.
The Southern End of The Strip
The Southern End of The Strip'sbest cost is usually at either the Monte Carlo, the Tropicana, or at the Excaliburif you've got kids - all placed on The Strip at Tropicana Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard.  These 3 casino/hotels generally have costs which can be about one-1/3 the price in their acquaintances; and they sit down between the MGM Grand, Luxor, Mandalay Bay, New York New York, and City Center where room charges are typically near $a hundred and fifty and up.
The Excalibur may be very toddler friendly with many kid's points of interest.  They are bodily related to the Luxor with the aid of an enclosed walkway, they have a unfastened storage for parking, and they have a unfastened tram that runs every five mins among the Excalibur, Luxor, and Mandalay Bay.  There is likewise an over-the-street walkway to New York New York, Tropicana, and MGM Grand.  So for more or less one-third the price, you are nevertheless in a high vicinity.
The Monte Carlo sits among New York New York and City Center, with a free tram that runs every fifteen minutes thru City Center and keeps directly to the Bellagio.  With that connection and the previously cited accesses throughout from New York New York, again there may be no sacrifice in area for the decreased fee of rooms.  And like each on line casino on this area, additionally they have a free protected storage.
The Tropicana is inside the process of being converted into a main region.  It is the last of the older casinos in the location to get a facelift.  So ask for a room faraway from the development, and enjoy the top location if not anything else.
Inside Tip:  If your funds are extremely tight, you need to stay in this a part of The Strip, and comfort isn't always on your list of vital matters, you may want to keep in mind Hooters (which was once the San Remo.)  Rates can be as low as $25 a night.  They are located with the aid of the lower back door of the Tropicana, and immediately across the road from the returned entrance to the MGM Grand.
Northern End of The Strip
On the Northern End of The Strip all of the accommodations between the Stratosphere and Circus Circus have rooms available for much less than $30 a night time, but maximum traffic feel they may be too a long way from the whole thing else in town.  If that doesn't trouble you, check out The Deuce bus line.  Otherwise, the exceptional price is typically at Bill's Gamblin' Hall & Saloon, or the Imperial Palace, which often have rooms starting beneath $39.  These two are positioned just north of the middle of The Strip, by means of Bellagio, Paris, Caesar's Palace, Mirage, Venetian, Palazzo and the Wynn - all of which rate much, an awful lot greater.
Bill's Gamblin' Hall & Saloonused to be smoke infested, and looks as if a dive.  But they've cleaned it up now that it's far not the Barbary Coast.  Bill's is on the nook of Flamingo Road and Las Vegas Boulevard with the Flamingo next door.  Bill's sits at the very identical corner as Caesars Palace, Bellagio, and Bally's, right within the center of The Strip.  And they do have loose blanketed parking in their storage.  Furthermore, there is now an over-the-street walkway for the entire intersection, so there's no manner to beat the price for the location.
The ImperialPalace is just a few doors north of Bill's, which makes it towards the Mirage, Treasure Island, Harrah's, Venetian, Palazzo and the Wynn.  Like anybody else on The Strip, there is free covered parking.  There is likewise a unfastened trolley throughout the road on the Mirage that goes to Treasure Island each fifteen minutes (which is at the same avenue corner as the Fashion Show Mall, Wynn, and Palazzo.)
The Downtown Area
The Downtown Areagenerally has a number of the lowest priced rooms in town, and the whole lot is within a block of the Fremont Experience.  For the lowest fees the Four Queens, Fitzgerald's, and the Las Vegas Club usually have rooms starting round $29.  Downtown the resorts will validate parking in their very own garage, for their lodge and on line casino visitors.  The Las Vegas Club is one of the very few that have free parking for absolutely everyone.
Nearby Neighborhoods or Off Strip Locations
The fine price in Nearby Neighborhoods or Off Strip Locations is typically found at the Station Casinos, wherein rooms are on occasion as low as $14 a night.  The closest Station Casino to The Strip is Palace Station, less than a mile away, located on Sahara Boulevard through Highway 15, with clean throughway access.  Sahara Avenue crosses The Strip at the north give up next to the Stratosphere, Sahara, Riviera, and Circus Circus.  An important note is that Palace Station has lately raised their "resort fee" to $sixteen.Seventy nine consistent with night, efficaciously elevating the fee of the room to around $30.
Free Public Transportation & Parking
The trams on the west aspect of The Strip hook up with all however two of the main casinos.  Neither New York New York nor Caesars Palace have a tram connection; so there's a brief stroll among trams whilst going around these  casinos.  On the east aspect of The Strip there is a monorail that runs among the MGM Grand and the Sahara; unfortunately it's miles very pricy for a circle of relatives to use.
Parking is loose nearly anywhere in Las Vegas.  The primary exception is downtown, like in any important town.  Since The Strip isn't always downtown, there are pretty some loose parking garages in addition to the many loose parking lots.  Due to the extreme temperatures, I might advocate the use of a garage on every occasion possible.
There are four casinos that provide loose parking in the downtown place; El Cortez, Main Street Station, the Plaza, and the Las Vegas Club.  Everyone else calls for validation.  The only warning you may need to understand is that the garage on the Plaza has very low ceilings and tight turns, so no longer every car might be able to use their storage.
Other Transportation & Parking
If you happen to be coming to Las Vegas in an RV, or a Big Rig, you may be satisfied to listen that you may park and hookup at Circus Circus.  This is a KOA with drive-through spaces and a barely better day by day charge than most.  But with their "On The Strip" place you may get better the value in lower transportation expenses. Their RV park has 399 spaces, and each of them have full carrier application hookups. There is also a convenience shop, an arcade, laundromat, playground, pet runs, and disposal stations. This will let you live on the north give up of The Strip, then use public transportation to get around.
The least steeply-priced paid transportation in Las Vegas is the town bus line.  Las Vegas is a completely unfold out metropolis, with a completely reasonably priced bus line.  "The Deuce" goes up and down The Strip constantly, (from Mandalay Bay to the Fremont Street Experience) with double-deckers jogging about 10 mins aside in the course of the day, and 30 minutes apart in the middle of the night.  The three day rate is handiest $15 in line with character with on-and-off privileges for all of the town bus strains - you can't beat that!  (Or $7 for a 24 hour price ticket.)  If you force to Las Vegas it's miles inexpensive to park the car (out of the sun) in one of the loose covered garages at most every casino on The Strip, and use The Deuce to get around, than to pay for the gas.
More bus records is to be had on their website at RTCsouthernnevada.Com.  Passes bought on line aren't downloadable or to be had to print through your pc at time of buy.  When shopping a pass on line, please allow sufficient time (five to 7 days) for transport via USPS mail.  Currently, all passes ordered on line are brought via USPS mail and sent to the cope with you offer.  Children six years of age and more youthful journey free and must be accompanied by using an grownup.
Transportation Passes may also be bought in individual at the Downtown Transportation Center, South Strip Transfer Terminal, RTC Administration Building, supplier places at some stage in metropolis, and all Las Vegas Albertsons Grocery Stores.
Using public transportation also can make journeys to the Las Vegas Premium Outlets, the Las Vegas Outlet Center, and among the different points of interest a manageable component - with out using your car or an costly taxi.
Inside Tip:  For similarly financial savings and to keep away from tipping conditions, right here are a few tips:
Don't valet your car.  Even though valet parking is unfastened at lodges, you may be predicted to tip the attendant one or  bucks.  Parking your personal vehicle in one of the free garages and riding the elevator down will save you a couple of bucks you may have a laugh with later.
Don't purchase gas on The Strip.  Gas expenses are plenty inexpensive at maximum stations that are two or more miles from The Strip.  I might pressure west from The Strip on Flamingo Road, Spring Mountain Road, or another cross street close to your resort.
If you want to find out greater approximately your quality offers, there are too many alternatives to show in this newsletter.

But if you’re interested in traveling for next to nothing with credit card rewards, you may need a good strategy to achieve your goal. Understand the Different Types of Travel Credit Cards
There are three types of travel cards, and understanding the differences between them can help figure out which ones are the best fit for you.
General Travel Rewards Credit Cards
These credit cards allow you to earn rewards with a credit card issuer’s proprietary rewards program. Examples include Chase Ultimate Rewards, American Express Membership Rewards and Citi ThankYou Rewards. General travel rewards programs typically give up to three ways to redeem your hard-earned points or miles, including:
Book directly through your rewards account: Some card issuers provide a booking platform that functions similarly to discount travel sites like Expedia and Orbitz. But instead of paying out of pocket to book your flight, hotel or rental car, you use your rewards. This option is convenient, but you may be limited to certain brands, making it more difficult to price shop.
Book through a third party: Instead of booking through your rewards account, you simply use your card to book travel wherever you want. Then you’ll use your points or miles to get a statement credit for the travel purchase. This redemption option gives you more flexibility and makes it easier to get the lowest price. But each program may have a slightly different definition for travel, so it’s possible to make a purchase that you think is travel-related, but it’s not eligible for redemption.
Transfer to a travel partner: Rather than using your rewards in their original program, some card issuers allow you to transfer your points or miles to one of their travel partners, which often include airline frequent flyer and hotel rewards programs. This option increases your flexibility and makes it possible to squeeze more value out of your rewards than you can get in the original program.
General travel rewards typically have a set value based on how you redeem them. For example, you may get 1 cent per point for all travel-related redemptions, but only 0.5 cents per point for cash back. They’re great for redemptions that you can’t get with an airline or hotel credit card, such as rental cars, cruises, and hotel and airline fees. And having a card with transfer partners can give you the flexibility to earn rewards with several hotels and airlines without having to get multiple credit cards. That said, they typically don’t offer special perks with those programs, such as free checked bags, priority boarding or elite status.
Airline Credit Cards
These co-branded credit cards make it easy to rack up rewards with a single airline, which you can use to score free flights. With most airline credit cards, you’ll also get access to certain perks, including priority boarding, free checked bags, in-flight discounts and sometimes even more. Unlike general travel rewards programs, frequent flyer programs have a dynamic pricing structure. This means that the value of each point or mile can vary based on a number of factors, including your point of origin and destination, fare class, the cash price of the ticket, travel dates and more. Airlines don’t publish how much their rewards are worth, but there are many travel rewards websites that provide average point valuations to give you an idea of what to expect. With most airlines, though, you can expect to get more than 1 cent per point or mile on average. And if you’re flexible with your travel plans, you can try different redemptions to see which one will give you the most value for your rewards. Airline credit cards are great if you’re loyal to one airline, but not so much if you prefer to get the lowest price possible regardless of the airline.
Hotel Credit Cards
Like airline credit cards, hotel credit cards are co-branded with a specific hotel brand and allow you to earn points that you can use to book free stays with that brand. In addition to a rewards program, these cards also offer hotel-specific perks, including complimentary elite status and a free anniversary night’s stay. Most of the best travel rewards credit cards charge an annual fee, but hotel credit cards’ yearly cost is the easiest to justify if it offers a free one-night stay every year. If you can get more value from that stay than what you pay, you don’t even need to use the card regularly to make it worth your while. Hotel rewards programs are also similar to frequent flyer programs in that they have a dynamic pricing structure. As a result, the value of your points can vary based on the property, travel dates, room type, cash price of the stay and more. Most hotel rewards programs offer less than 1 cent per point in value on average, but many hotel credit cards make up for that by offering high rewards rates. These cards are great to have if you’re loyal to one hotel or if you want to take advantage of the free anniversary night. But they limit your redemption options, so they may not be a great fit if you want to be a free agent.
Get Cards The Align With Your Spending Habits
Travel rewards credit cards offer either a flat rewards rate on every purchase you make or a tiered-rewards system that provides bonus rewards on certain spending categories. Before you pick a card, take a look at your spending habits to determine where you spend most of your money. For example, if you spend a lot at restaurants, consider getting a card that offers bonus rewards on dining purchases. The same goes with travel, groceries, gas and other common categories. One thing to keep in mind, though, is that travel cards that offer bonus rewards on certain category typically give you only 1 point or mile per dollar on all non-bonus spending. So if most of your spending doesn’t align with a card’s bonus categories, you may not be maximizing your rewards. One way to get around this is to use multiple credit cards to take advantage of their individual rewards programs. For example, get one card that offers bonus rewards on dining and another that pays out more for groceries or gas. Then use a card that offers a high flat rewards rate on all purchases to use for all of your non-bonus spending.
Know How Many Cards Is Too Much
Having multiple travel credit cards can help you maximize your travel rewards, allow you to diversify your rewards across multiple programs and give you access to more perks. But the more credit cards you have in your wallet, the easier it is to lose value if you’re not careful. For starters, because most of the best travel rewards credit cards charge annual fees, diversifying your spending across more than one card reduces the total value you get with each individual card. If that value drops below the cost of the card’s annual fee, the card is no longer worth having. So if you’re planning to take on multiple cards, make sure you’re still getting enough value from each to make the card worth it. Also, the more credit cards you have, the harder it is to keep track of them. Whether it’s monthly payments or perks, it’s easy to forget when you’re overwhelmed. To help, consider keeping a spreadsheet of all of your credit cards and their features, so you can check in now and then to ensure you’re still maximizing your value with each. Also, think about utilizing a budgeting software that has a direct import feature. That way, you can keep track of all of your transactions and payments in one place instead of needing to log in to each credit card account separately. Finally, set up automatic payments on all of your credit cards to avoid accidentally missing a payment. Even if you prefer to pay manually, set up autopay for at least the minimum payment just in case. There’s no answer to the questions for how many credit cards is too much because everyone is different. As you use these tips, you’ll get a better idea of how many you can handle without losing value or putting your finances and credit at risk.
Always Pay In Full
Earning free travel with travel rewards credit cards is nice, but not if the cost is a sizeable credit card balance and monthly interest charges. The only way to make this work is to stick to a budget, never spend more than you have in your bank account and always pay your balance in full each month. With this strategy, you can avoid expensive interest charges and ensure that you get the maximum value out of each credit card you own.

3 Travel Rewards Credit Cards to Help You Get Started
If you’re just starting out with the travel rewards hobby, the sheer number of travel credit cards available can be overwhelming. To help you narrow down your selection, here are three of the best starter travel rewards credit cards.
Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card
The Chase Sapphire Preferred doesn’t have the greatest rewards rates — you’ll earn 2 points per dollar on dining and travel and 1 point per dollar on everything else. But it offers 60,000 bonus points after you spend $4,000 in the first three months — that’s worth $750 in travel when you use points to book through Chase. The card also allows you to transfer your points to nine airline frequent flyer programs and three hotel rewards programs, giving you the chance to get even more flexibility and value out of your rewards. The card has a $95 annual fee but doesn’t charge foreign transaction fees.

Capital One® Venture® Rewards Credit Card
The Capital One Venture offers a flat 2 miles per dollar on every purchase you make, plus 10 miles per dollar on hotels booked at hotels.com/venture through January 2020. The card also offers 50,000 bonus miles after you spend $3,000 in the first three months — that’s worth $500 in travel booked through Capital One or as a statement credit on travel booked with a third party. The card also offers an application fee credit for TSA PreCheck or Global Entry, which provide expedited airport security and customs screening. The card has a $95 annual fee, but it’s waived the first year, giving you time to test-drive the card and find out if it’s right for you. It also doesn’t charge foreign transaction fees.

Wells Fargo Propel American Express® card
The Wells Fargo Propel American Express Card is a good choice if you’re looking to get your feet wet, but you’re not yet sure you want to go all-in with an annual fee card. The card offers 30,000 bonus points after you spend $3,000 in the first three months. Those points are worth $300 in travel, cash back gift cards and more. While most purchases will net you just 1 point per dollar, the card also offers 3 points per dollar on:
Eating out and ordering in
Gas, rideshares and transit
Flights, hotels, homestays and car rentals
Popular streaming services
The card also offers an introductory bonus offer! The card charges no annual fee and also doesn’t have a foreign transaction fee.

Next Steps
As we said in the introduction, there’s no single best travel rewards credit card strategy for everyone to follow. But as you consider these steps in forming a good strategy, you’ll have a better idea of what the best strategy looks like for you. And keep in mind that your strategy may change over time, and credit cards that may be a good fit now may not provide as much value a few years from now. So be flexible with your strategy to ensure that you’re always getting as much value from your travel rewards credit cards as possible.

How to Use Google Flights Cheap Package Feature?
So, why Google flights package is unique, you may ask? To tell you straight, they are quite a few good reasons. First, it gives you a complete package which includes hotel and flight deals. It takes less time to book them. You are thus saving your time. You might get confused about its interface. But not anymore, we are going to explain it in short, precise manner to you. So, you can book better next time.  We are going to use an example — a trip From Newyork to Las Vegas.
How to access it on Google Flights?
It's really to use it. Go to Google flights site. From there on the menu, you will see at last. Click on it. You need to mention the location. NYC into the departure option and Las Vegas into the Arrival option. The dates are going to be between Sep 13 and Sep 20, 2019.
The price bar - The first thing you will notice is the price bar. You can adjust it as per your Budget to see the hotels and flights price in the range. If you change it to the lowest, you won't see any offers.

Guest ratings - We know how ratings are have become important. So, when you want to see hotels with an only four-star rating, you choose it. Google flights will remove all other options from the list of the packages.
Hotel Class - A simple filter. Whether you want to stay in a two-star hotel or three-star. There is an option of five stars as well.
Flights stop - Now, these are the filters for flights. Whether you want a nonstop flight or flight with one-stop. By Google flight search travelers usually choose one layover to visit a city for free of cost. However, let's move on to next.
Tumblr media
Flights time -you can choose a time to fly out. Do you want to take the flight in the morning? Alternatively, in the night? It's your choice.

We love the relaxed atmosphere and quiet beaches of the Thai island Koh Lanta. We’ve visited many times over the years staying in a wide variety of accommodation from luxury resorts to self-catering apartments.
There are two ways of deciding where to stay in Koh Lanta. You can choose the beach you want to stay on and find a hotel there or choose the type of accommodation that suits you (deluxe resort, mid-range hotel, beach bungalow etc.) and find the best options on the island.
This post will help you with both approaches. I’ve included a breakdown of the different beaches with a few suggested places to stay and then more detailed reviews in each accommodation category. We’ve stayed in many of these Koh Lanta hotels and apartments ourselves and some recommendations have been contributed by other travel bloggers.
I have included approximate costs per night in low season to give you a general idea, but prices vary widely depending on the time of year and how far in advance you book. Click on the links to find out exact rates for your dates.
Koh Lanta accommodation prices are lowest from mid-April until October. It’s rainy season and very quiet on the island (many restaurants and some hotels close), but it doesn’t rain every day and you can get fantastic deals of 50% off or more. This is the perfect time to treat yourself to a luxury resort!
Which Koh Lanta Beach to Stay On?
Koh Lanta is a 27km (17 mile) long island and it takes about an hour to drive from one end of the island to the other. While you can easily drive all over the island in a day, it is worth thinking carefully about where you’d like to be located.
There’s no public transport so you’ll need to rent a motorbike (or car) or rely on tuktuks. Motorbikes are much cheaper and give you more flexibility, but accidents do happen frequently so only rent one if you have experience.
Koh Lanta’s beaches (and sunset views) are along the West Coast. There’s one road that runs parallel to the sea along the coast passing through various beach villages. It gets quieter the further south you go.
You can choose to stay on the main road (a five-minute walk to the beach), right on the beach, or down one of the lanes off the main road on the beach side (a few minutes walk from the sand). There are also more hidden options in the hills above the beaches.
Staying on the beach is ideal—and there are options for all budgets—but you’ll get a nicer room for your budget if you stay further away.
These are the main beaches on Koh Lanta from north to south.
Khlong Dao
Khlong Dao beach in front of Royal Lanta Resort
The ferry from the mainland arrives at the village of Saladan on the northern tip of the island. There’s no need to stay here as the closest beach Khlong Dao is only a 5–10 minute drive away.
Khlong Dao is a 3km (2 mile) long sandy beach with (usually) calm water that’s great for swimming. There are bungalows and restaurants along most of the beach, but they are not allowed sun beds beyond the edge of their property, so there’s plenty of sand to sit on.
We stayed near Khlong Dao on our recent three-month stay and loved it for morning runs and sunset walks. It’s my favourite running beach as the sand is quite firm and flat (Long Beach has more of a slope).
Khlong Dao is also home to the best yoga studio on the island—Oasis Yoga, a one-minute walk from the beach. If you’d like to create your own yoga retreat, Oasis Yoga Bungalows is the perfect place to stay—their bungalows are lovely and affordable and there’s a pool. Their cafe is my favourite place for lunch on the island.
Other great restaurants in Khlong Dao are Time for Lime (right on the beach and with cooking classes too), Two Scoops (the best cake and gelato), Bajen Pizzeria (and they deliver), and Nang Sabai German Bakery.
There are a number of 7-Elevens and souvenir/clothes shops and it’s very close to the only real supermarket on the island, Lanta Mart. There’s a market on Mondays for fresh produce and street food.
Khlong Dao is a great place to stay on Koh Lanta. You’ll have a shorter journey from Krabi, it’s close to lots of restaurants and shops, and the beach is nice. In high season it can be busier than the other beaches (in low season it’s very quiet), but nowhere on Koh Lanta is too crowded. You’ll also be further from the lovely beaches and National Park at the far south of the island.
Places to stay right on Khlong Dao beach include Banana Beach Resort for a mid-range family-friendly option and Royal Lanta Resort which has Thai-style architecture, a large pool, and sun loungers on the edge of the sand (it’s very close to Oasis Yoga). The Crown Lanta luxury resort is on the other side of the hill at the end of the beach.
Long Beach (Pra-Ae)
Long Beach (in front of Layana Resort)
Long Beach, officially called Pra-Ae, is my favourite beach for longer stays. It’s not much further than Khlong Dao from Saladan, but I think the 4km (2.5 mile) beach is a little prettier and it’s also good for swimming.
As everything is spread out you can easily find a patch of sand to yourself. There are hotels and restaurants along most of the beach, but there are also more isolated sections backed by casuarina trees.
There are plenty of good restaurants at Long Beach. Red Snapper is one of the best restaurants on the island, Fruit Tree Coffee Shop is great for breakfast and cakes, Yawee and May’s Kitchen offer good affordable Thai, Escape Cafe is right on the beach and has excellent coffee and Two Scoops gelato, Le Colibri does good pizza, and vegetarian restaurant Happy Veggie is just south. There are many other options.
It’s not far from Lanta Animal Welfare if you want to walk some dogs or play with kittens. There are a few gyms, Lanta Yoga studio (in high season), and a number of 7-Elevens and souvenir shops.
Long Beach has a wide variety of accommodation, so if you really can’t decide where to stay in Koh Lanta, this is an excellent option for most people.
Layana Resort is my pick for honeymooners and adults looking for a quiet luxury experience right on the beach (see my review below). More affordable options on the beach are Lanta Castaway Beach Resort, Long Beach Chalet (with Escape Cafe on site), and Lanta Casuarina Beach Resort. There are plenty of cheap options a short walk from the beach (see budget section below)
Khlong Khong
Sunset dinner at Patty’s on Khlong Khong
Khlong Khong is south of Long Beach, about a 15-minute drive from Saladan. It’s not my favourite beach as it’s narrower, quite rocky, and not ideal for swimming (you can’t swim at low tide). We did enjoy a few sunset walks after eating at Patty’s Secret Garden.
There are quite a few restaurants in the area as well as casual bamboo hut bars on the beach. It’s a popular area with backpackers and solo travellers and it can be good value. Options include Coco Lanta Eco Resort and Lanta Andaleaf Bungalow.
Khlong Nin
Beach bars on Khlong Nin at sunset
Khlong Nin has more of a village feel that the beaches further north as the road through it is smaller and tree-lined. It’s a good option if you want a quieter place to stay but not as remote as the southern beaches.
It’s about halfway down the island so you can easily head north or south on day trips and Old Town is just across the island. The drive is 25 minutes from Saladan and the same from National Park (at the southern tip).
The beach here is nice. It’s not as long as Long Beach and Khlong Dao (around 2 km), but you can still have a decent walk and swim. There’s more of a laidback, hippy vibe with lots of wooden shack bars and bungalow resorts on the beach rather than fancy resorts.
There’s not as wide a choice of restaurants as further north, but there are still plenty of casual places and French Bakery does good pizzas and baguettes.
Rawi Warin, one of the best value luxury resorts on the island is just a short walk away (on a smaller separate beach)—the low season rates are fantastic and we loved our stay here.
More affordable options are The Narima Bungalow Resort and Sunset Bungalows.
Kantiang Bay
Kantiang Bay is in the south of the island, a 35-minute drive from Saladan and 15 minutes from National Park. It’s a fantastic, quiet place to stay if you don’t mind the longer transfer from Krabi and less choice of restaurants and shops (if you have a motorbike it’s less of an issue).
The 2 km long beach is one of the most scenic on the island as the tree-covered mountains run right down to the wide and sandy beach. The water is calm and excellent for swimming.
The village is small but there are a few good restaurants like Drunken Sailors and there’s an excellent dive shop Scubafish.
Two of our favourite places to stay on Koh Lanta are at Kantiang Bay. The most luxurious resort on the island, Pimalai Resort, is on the hillside leading to the beach (with sun loungers right on the sand). Baan Kantiang See is high up on a hill on the other side of the road, so it’s less convenient for the beach, but the views from the pool and two-bedroom villas are outstanding.
More affordable options are Phra Nang Lanta and Kantiang Oasis Resort.
Far South
Past Kantiang Bay things get much quieter, so only stay down here if you want to get away from it all. Nui Bay, Waterfall Bay (Ao Klong Jark), and Bamboo Bay (Ao Mai Pai) are all beautiful beaches that you may well have to yourself.
La Laanta Hideaway Resort is the best option in the far south on the lovely, secluded Bamboo Beach. There’s a pool overlooking the beach as well as sun loungers on the sand. It’s only five minutes from National Park but at least 45 minutes from Saladan.
Koh Lanta Old Town (East Coast)
While most visitors stay on the West Coast, Koh Lanta’s Old Town on the East Coast could be an interesting option if you are looking for something different. The East Coast is quieter, greener, and less developed, but there are no beaches. It’s a 15-minute drive across the island to the nearest beach at Khlong Nin and you’ll enjoy sunrises rather than sunsets.
The Old Town is a cute street of wooden houses on stilts over the water. All the buildings house souvenir shops and restaurants now, but it is very pretty. We were surprised by how many people were around and businesses open in the low season—it actually felt livelier (to an extent) than the West Coast.
There are some interesting, affordable places to stay in Old Town such as Deep House Sea View with sea view bungalows from $15.
Airbnb also has some unique villas over the water such as the Waterfront Pool House, Wooda House, and Coconut House.
We love the delicious tacos at Baja Taco a five-minute drive south of Old Town. You can stay at The Other Side villas here, which look nice and they have seating overlooking the water and kayaks to rent.

Best Koh Lanta Luxury Resorts
Pimalai Resort (Kantiang Bay)
The beachfront bar and restaurant at Pimalai Resort
Pimalai Resort is the most luxurious 5-star resort on Koh Lanta. We stayed here for our 20th anniversary and it’s definitely a special occasion destination.
The large resort is located on a steep jungle-covered hillside leading to a lovely stretch of quiet sand on Kantiang Bay. If you don’t like walking up hills the location could be a problem (although there are golf carts), but the views are spectacular.
On the beach there are sun loungers, water sports gear to borrow, and a bar and restaurant on the edge of the sand.
Lunch with a view at the beachfront restaurant
Heading up the hill you reach the first infinity pool with a sea view, comfortable loungers, jacuzzi, another bar, and a team who bring around complimentary ice water and fruit. Nearby is a Thai restaurant where the lower rooms also have breakfast.
The lower pool at Pimalai
Continuing up the hill you’ll find the reception and spa, then you have to cross the quiet road to reach the hillside section of the resort.
Here there’s a sports centre and tennis courts and even further up the hill is the highlight of the resort—a huge infinity pool with stunning views down to Kantiang Bay. It’s definitely worth the climb up here. We especially loved the jacuzzi on the edge of the pool.
The main pool at Pimalai
The Banyan Tree restaurant is next to the main pool and their fine dining restaurant Seven Seas is above that—come here for happy hour and enjoy the sunset.
Celebrating our anniversary at the Seven Seas bar and restaurant
There’s a small but dull vegan section of the Seven Seas menu, but they allowed us to order from the Banyan Tree menu instead, which has more vegetarian options but isn’t open for dinner. We found the food better than the other resorts on the island but nothing special.
There were more kids around than we expected in July. The staff do ask the parents to keep them quiet but that’s not always realistic.
We stayed in the cheapest Deluxe Room which is in the lower section of the resort. We requested the upper level which meant we had a sea view. Our room was the nicest we stayed in on Lanta—spacious, bright, and surrounded by trees. The bathroom was massive with a bath and separate cubicle with rain shower. Drinking water is free and comes in glass bottles.
Our Deluxe Room at Pimalai
The view from our balcony at Pimalai (we had room service here for dinner one night).
There are also beachfront villas and hillside villas with private pools.
Pimalai was the best resort we stayed at on Koh Lanta. Everything was just a little higher standard than elsewhere (with the exception of the breakfast buffet which we preferred at Rawi Warin), the view from the main pool is truly special, and Kantiang Bay is a lovely beach to be on.
Rooms at Pimalai cost from $210 in low season. Check the latest rates here.
Rawi Warin Resort (Khlong Nin)
Rawi Warin is one of the best value luxury resorts on Koh Lanta with low season rates from $60 which is a steal. We spent a blissful few days there in May when it was very quiet (only 4–5 other people at the enormous pool).
It’s a beautiful resort set amongst jungle with a large lily pond and a huge pool overlooking the beach. It feels like an oasis far away from the rest of Koh Lanta but is just a 10-minute walk from the restaurants of Khlong Nin.
The infinity pool is the highlight. We loved relaxing here on the comfortable loungers enjoying the sea views. The two jacuzzis are great for lounging—the staff even brought Simon a beer while we were hanging out here.
The pool is on two levels—the lower level is shallower and features a water slide for children. I’ve heard the pool can get noisy with kids in the high season, but in the low season it was wonderfully tranquil. There’s also a quieter lap pool and hillside pool, but we didn’t need to use them.
In front of the pool there’s a bar overlooking the beach which is ideal for lunch and happy hour sunset cocktails. The vegetarian options are limited and the pizza isn’t very good, but we enjoyed the mango smoothies and chocolate ice cream sundae.
Rawi Warin’s perfectly located bar between the pool and the beach
There are a few loungers on the beach which is lovely but not very large. We tried walking on the sand to Khlong Nin but got stuck by rocks, so you probably need to walk along the road.
The main restaurant overlooking the pond is a better option for dinner. They have two pages of vegetarian Thai and Western dishes. The renowned breakfast buffet is served here and it’s fantastic with lots of choice. The only downside was the coffee.
We chose the cheapest room which is up the hillside surrounded by jungle. We didn’t find it a difficult walk, but if you don’t want to walk up a hill, you can ask staff to take you in a cart or choose a more expensive room overlooking the pond. There are also amazing looking villas right on the beach with private pools.
Our standard room
Our room was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. We appreciated that the complimentary water came in glass bottles (most other resorts use plastic) and that toiletries were in large reusable bottles.
The resort also has a spa, gym, tennis courts, table tennis, library, pool table, kids playroom, and daily activities (most for an extra fee) for adults and kids like yoga or cocktail making.
Rawi Warin Resort is an excellent choice for families and couples, although in peak season (like Christmas), couples looking for a quiet stay might prefer adult-only Layana. In off-season it’s very peaceful and superb value.
Check the latest rates at Rawi Warin here.
Layana Resort (Long Beach)
If you want to stay at a quiet luxury resort but be in walking distance of lots of restaurants, Layana Resort is ideal. It’s adults-only so couples might prefer it here during school holidays when other resorts could be busier with kids.
Layana is a smaller, more intimate Koh Lanta resort, but it has two large pools so there’s plenty of space for everyone. During our stay in June we only saw four or five other couples so it was especially quiet.
The grounds are pretty and all on one level leading down to the beach (unlike the jungle hillside locations of Rawi Warin and Pimalai). Long Beach is one of our favourites—it’s ideal for long walks and you can find restaurants in either direction.
We enjoyed relaxing at the main pool on the comfortable loungers. We appreciated that the staff brought complimentary ice water throughout the day. Next to the pool is a large jacuzzi where I liked to sit and read. There are usually sun loungers on the beach as well, but these weren’t set up in the low season.
Large jacuzzi next to the main pool at Layana
There’s a bar and restaurant right on the beach. Vegetarian options are limited and we found the food a bit disappointing (except for the warm bread basket!), but meat-eaters seem to like it here. We did enjoy sunset cocktails at happy hour.
The breakfast buffet was pretty good and included eggs to order, cappuccinos, and tasty pastries as well as a selection of hot Asian dishes.
Beach Bar at Layana Resort
Other facilities include a spa, gym, library (with books and DVDs to borrow), daily activities, and free bikes.
We stayed in the standard Garden Pavillion Room which was comfortable and spacious and there was a sunken bath in the ensuite. We liked the Nespresso coffee maker but wished they didn’t use plastic for the water bottles and tiny toiletry bottles.
The balcony of our standard room
If you are willing to pay more, there are villas right on the beach.
We really enjoyed our stay at Layana. The location is ideal and it’s perfect for couples who don’t want noisy kids at the pool. In the low season, our room cost $166 and I didn’t think it was worth paying 2.5 times the price of Rawi Warin. In high season when everywhere is busier, it could be worth it.
Check the latest rates at Layana here.
Crown Lanta Resort (Khlong Dao)
Plunge pool at a private villa at Crown Lanta
Recommended by Sally of Our 3 Kids Vs The World
Koh Lanta holds a special place in my heart as we spent part of our honeymoon there in 2003. We went back again in 2017, but this time we had three kids in tow.
We stayed at the Crown Lanta Resort & Spa in a private villa with our own plunge pool with an amazing view out across the ocean. It was the most amazing place to watch those wicked Thailand sunsets. The resort has a large pool with swim-up bar and a private part of Khlong Dao Beach just for guests. Most rooms at the resort have pool access.
There are four restaurants and the kids took a particular liking to the Reggae Bar, which is right on the beach and the second best place to watch the sunset!
If I had to complain about anything at this resort it would be getting around. The resort is located on a steep slope and walking up to breakfast each morning was pretty much my day’s workout! However, Crown Lanta has golf carts that drive around the resort and drop you wherever you want to go, right to your front door too!
Crown Lanta is rated as a 4.5-star resort and rooms cost from $60 a night in low season. Check rates here.
Best Midrange Koh Lanta Hotels
Oasis Yoga Bungalows (Khlong Dao)
We didn’t stay at Oasis Yoga Bungalows, but we visited almost daily for a month as it’s home to my favourite yoga studio in the world, Oasis Yoga. This intimate yoga resort is run by friendly American couple Farra and Kate and has a welcoming atmosphere.
Farra leads one or two yoga classes a day and there are unlimited passes if you want to create your own yoga retreat. Even if you aren’t into yoga, this is a lovely place to stay with good-value, comfortable ensuite bungalows spread around the pretty gardens and overlooking the pool. It’s only a minute’s walk to Khlong Dao beach.
The onsite cafe is another reason to stay here. I ate here after most yoga classes and it’s some of the best Western food on the island. There are plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans—I loved the bean burger and veggie tacos.
It’s eco-friendly too. They don’t use plastic straws and there’s a refill station for your water bottle. Tea and coffee are also included.
Oasis Yoga Bungalows closes in the low season (from mid-May to September). In high season, air-conditioned bungalows cost from $40 a night. There are also larger family bungalows. Check the latest prices here.
Banana Beach Resort (Khlong Dao)
Recommended by Jenny of TraveLynn Family
If you’re visiting Koh Lanta with kids and looking for a mid-range option, Banana Beach Resort, situated at the southern end of Klong Dao beach, is your answer.
We are a family of four who arranged to meet another family of four in Koh Lanta: in total four adults and four kids aged 2–5. We had two sea view rooms next to each other with a double bed, bunk beds for the kids, ensuite, and a large adjoining balcony.
Rooms were basic but clean, and there is a fridge and kettle. The staff is absolutely wonderful. So polite and friendly, and they were always on hand to answer questions or sort something out for us. There is also a restaurant on site that overlooks the beach and serves the usual dishes.
But the big hit with the boys was, of course, the pool. There’s a separate kids pool with a slide, although be aware that this pool was too deep for our two year old to stand up in. Our four year old was fine. And since our visit, they now have a playground.
For parents, make time to pop to the massage parlour next door. A 60 minute Thai massage costs THB400, although if that’s a bit hardcore, they also offer Swedish and I thoroughly recommend the facial and head massage (THB600 for 60 minutes).
Rooms at Banana Beach Resort cost from $40 in the low season. Check the latest prices here.
Lanta Castaway Beach Resort (Long Beach)
Recommended by Louis of TheNorthernBoy
If you’re visiting Koh Lanta, I highly recommend a stay at the awesome Lanta Castaway Beach Resort.
You may have seen dreamy photos online of beach bungalows, well, the Lanta Castaway offers just that. You will have your own bungalow metres from a stunning beach with amazing views. Bungalows have air conditioning, fridges, and balconies.
The grounds are well maintained by the friendly on-site staff. There is WiFi, a seating area overlooking the beach, and a very tasty restaurant with a varied menu. A 7/11 shop is nearby if you need any snacks.
Rooms at Lanta Castaway Beach Resort cost from $28 in low season. It’s not the cheapest place on the island if you are on a backpacker budget, but if you can afford a night here then I would 100% go for it. The rooms, location, and sunset make it an extra special stay on Koh Lanta.
Check the latest prices at Lanta Castaway Beach Resort here.
Coco Lanta Eco Resort (Khlong Khong)
Recommended by Claire of Backpacking Bella
Sitting right on Khlong Khong beach is Coco Lanta Eco Resort, a 3-star hotel with an incredible swimming pool. It’s perfect for couples and backpackers.
Glass-fronted bungalows face the gardens and include an ensuite bathroom with complimentary toiletries, air-conditioning, a TV, minifridge, safe and that all-important free WiFi. Each has a terrace with furniture and even your own hammock.
The resort has its own laid-back restaurant and a large outdoor pool that is dreamy to swim in, under the shade of the coconut palm trees. There’s an amazing reggae beach bar here called Freedom Bar, which is a fun place to hang out and play pool for the evening with the friendly staff.
During the day, you can take advantage of the massage service, gift shop, and on-site tour desk or just wander around the village.
The one downside is that this part of the coastline is not the best for sunbathing or swimming, as the beach is narrow and there are plenty of rocks before you hit the sea. But who cares when you can enjoy a cool beer and make new friends at the bar or lie in an over-sized hammock and watch the sunset? It’s a blissful place to relax, Koh Lanta-style.
Coco Lanta sometimes closes in the low season. In high season rooms cost from around $50 a night. Check the latest prices here.
The Narima Bungalow Resort (Khlong Nin)
Recommended by Heather of Conversant Traveller
The Narima Resort is a pretty collection of traditional bungalows dotted along the shoreline fringed by lush rainforest in southwestern Koh Lanta.
This ‘eco-chic’ resort is ideally located not far from the Koh Lanta National Marine Park on the southern tip of the island, and it’s easily accessed by road from Saladan Pier where you’ll arrive from Phuket or Krabi.
The 32 simple yet spacious bungalows feel private, and there’s no better way to spend an evening than lounging in your hammock, beer in hand, watching the sun set over the sea.
We loved the three-tiered infinity pool that overlooked the private beach, complete with jacuzzi whirlpool tub and children’s pool, as well as the beautiful carved wooden furniture in the open air restaurant (they do amazing Massaman curries!).
If you want to be in the thick of the action, you’ll want to stay further north on the island, but we much preferred the peace of the south. You can rent cars and bikes to take day trips around the island—we loved taking a 4×4 and heading down to the Marine National Park to snorkel off the more remote beaches that few tourists seem to reach.
Other tours can be arranged, from scuba diving and kayaking to cookery lessons and jungle trekking. We opted to go by speedboat to snorkel around Ko Rok and enjoyed a BBQ on the beach.
Definitely one of our favourite places in Thailand. Prices for bungalows start at $45 during low season. See the latest prices here.
Best Budget Koh Lanta Bungalows
Ok Chawkoh Bungalow (Long Beach)
Recommended by Andrius of KATrippin
Ok Chawkoh Bungalow must be one of the most budget-friendly places to stay not only in the idyllic island of Koh Lanta but in the whole world.
The bungalows at Ok Chawkoh range from very basic ones with just enough space for a double sleeping mat and a couple of backpacks to fairly elaborate little houses with queen-size beds, private bathrooms, and air conditioning units.
What we liked about Ok Chowkoh was its cosy setup—the bungalows are arranged to face the internal garden away from the road which gives this place a sense of privacy. Other free facilities include drinking water and a shared kitchenette which contains a table with a kettle, toaster, and some basic kitchen utensils.
Unlike some of the other islanders, the owner speaks good English and is glad to help you get good prices on boat tickets, tours and can even rent you one of his motorbikes.
It’s located just off the main road in Long Beach close to many great restaurants and a five-minute walk from the beach.
Despite its great location, this place will certainly not break your budget. Basic bungalows start from $4 per night and the deluxe ones from $18. The variety of options available at Ok Chawkoh Bungalow means it can accommodate a range of customers from shoestring backpackers to mid-range travellers. We loved it and we hope you will too!

Lanta Baan Nok Resort (Long Beach)
Recommended by Katie of Two Wandering Soles
Lanta Baan Nok Resort might not look like much when you’re dropped off on a somewhat dusty street, but when the friendly staff lead you back through a path shaded by trees and tropical flowers, you’ll be transported to a beautiful garden with clean and modern bungalows.
Each room has a terrace with a hammock, which is perfect for relaxing with your morning coffee, which is served free all day (albeit the powdered kind). The rooms themselves have comfortable beds, strong A/C, and clean showers with hot water—all luxuries when you’re travelling in Thailand!
The staff at Lanta Baan Nok Resort is friendly and very helpful. They can help you arrange activities, rent motorbikes, and arrange transportation.
While you won’t be spoiled with an ocean view from your room, the property is only a short, 300-meter walk to the beach. Also, right across the street from the hotel is Uncle O’s, one of the best local restaurants we found with generous portions of delicious Thai food at reasonable prices.
Starting at just $16 in low season, this makes a great budget option for travellers who want a comfortable, yet affordable place to stay on Koh Lanta.

Lanta Andaleaf Bungalow (Khlong Khong)
Recommended by Erick of Travelaar
Only a very short walk from the beach, in the west of Koh Lanta, lies Lanta AndaLeaf Bungalow. The very kind host family arranged the bungalows around the circumference of the plot of land, creating an open space with a lot of greenery.
Lanta AndaLeaf only opened two years ago, so the bungalows are new. Besides the spacious interior of the bungalows, they all feature a king size bed with an amazing mattress and an industrial-style-barren-concrete sort of bathroom. Pretty neat.
The area is equipped with a couple of WiFi access points making sure the connection is stable everywhere. A pool in the centre would be nice, although it’s understandable that a small place like this can’t afford the luxury of a pool.
Prices are reasonable and start from $15 in the low season. Check the latest rates here.
Best Self-Catering Apartments and Villas in Koh Lanta
For families, longer stays or those who want to self-cater, here are some fantastic apartments and villas. If you are looking for a long term rental you can also post on the Koh Lanta Info Facebook group.
Malee Highlands (Khlong Dao)
Malee Highlands is on a hill between Khlong Dao and Long Beach and has fantastic sea views and an onsite pool and bistro. We spent three months here recently and loved it, despite the ongoing building work which creates some noise.
The luxury apartments are available to rent for a minimum of one month. There are a variety of options from one to three bedrooms all with terraces and sea views. They are very stylishly decorated and well-equipped, and the WiFi is fast.
See my Malee Highlands review for more details.
Sai Naam Lanta Residence (Long Beach)
The apartments surround the pool at Sai Naam Lanta Residence
We’ve stayed at Sai Naam a few times and loved the comfortable apartments with direct access to the large pool. It’s only a minute’s walk from the beach and there are many great restaurants in walking distance.
There are options from one to three bedrooms and it’s especially good for families. Check the latest rates here.
Baan Kantiang See Villa Resort (Kantiang Bay)
Baan Kantiang See features beautiful two-bedroom villas on a hill above Kantiang Bay with magnificent sea views.
We had a wonderful, relaxing stay here enjoying the view from our terrace and the infinity pool. It’s a 10-minute walk down the hill to one of the loveliest beaches on the island, but it’s a steep climb back up. It’s best to have your own transport if you want to do lots of exploring.

Escape Cabins (Long Beach)
Recommended by Veronika of Travel Geekery
Escape Cabins is a wonderful Koh Lanta accommodation choice in the mid-range category. It’s located within walking distance of Long Beach, but on the quieter side.
A few of the bungalows feature a beautiful lush mountain view and there’s a lovely pool to cool off in.
The bungalows differ in size and amenities. We stayed in the smallest one, but they also have large ‘cottages’ with an upper floor to accommodate a big family. Even the smallest bungalow features a kitchenette and a terrace.
Escape Cabins is managed by a lovely Japanese lady who is ready to give advice on boat trips, scooter rentals, and anything you might need on the island. We rented a scooter (with insurance!) through her too.
The WiFi can be spotty, especially the further away from the entrance (=the router) you are.
