AleRudy time!

First things first, they have two kids, both boys. Rudy struggled with fertility issues, so they spent a long time assuming they wouldn't have any kids. And then he gets pregnant twice. By accident.

Those games of contraceptive roulette paid off. Both kids are c-sections due to the issues mentioned above and the first trimesters are nerve wracking to say the least.

Alejandro dotes on Rudy like crazy during both pregnancies. The weeks after birth, he's Super-Dad, keeping the home together while Rudy recuperates. Both times he's like, "You sure you don't want to rest for five weeks instead of four?" And both times Rudy's like, "No, I want to hold our son for more than five minutes at a time and make my own sandwiches."

After Mateo is born they figure lighting's not going to strike twice, so they settle into family life. And then Mateo turns four and one day he's coloring when he looks up at Rudy and asks, "You have a baby in your tummy, right Papa?" Rudy laughs and ruffles his son's hair. "No Mi Amor, you're our only baby."

Mateo shrugs and goes back to coloring and then a few weeks later, Rudy shows up in Alejandro's office with a positive pregnancy test.

Lighting does, in fact, strike twice.

ugh I absolutely adore these two 🥺🙏 idk why but I love that they are boy dads. Love it. So happy that they were able to have a family 😭🙏🙏🙏🙏 like that hits RIGHT in feels for me fertility issues be wild 🥲
