What are pepper jack and mater paneer favorite foods?
Favorite stuff to do in their own time?
And what were their first words as babies?
One more ask for today, feat. Silly Trivia Questions posed by a mermaid made of cheesecake 🔥
Jack's favorite thing to eat in all the world is modak (an Indian sweet dumpling filled with coconut and cane sugar). He's a straight up fiendish gremlin for those things. Matar Paneer likes to eat a lot of things, it's tough to say what she favors... but she sure loves pouring cheese fondue onto everything if there's any around lol
Jack likes to read. If there's really nothing at all he needs to be doing, then he'll probably flutter off to the library and linger there for a while, looking for books he hasn't read before. He loves to learn new things and is very curious. Paneer just likes to run around outside, really. Climb up buildings and jump from roof to roof. Go bother random people on the streets or who are working lol. She's adventurous; she likes to explore and look at things. She'll challenge herself to get to and from somewhere in a certain amount of time, or play "Where's Waldo" with people and things. Playing games and going on little adventures.
First thing Jack ever said was "fly". Golden often cooed over his wings and told him how he'd learn to fly just like her someday. He learned to associate her words (and her showing him her own wings) with "fly", so "fly" became the first truly concrete word/concept in his mind. Paneer's first word was just "papa" lol. Spice was holding her and she was being wiggly and silly, and... she managed to call him papa. Spice was so giddy lol. He bragged about her first word being "papa" for ages. (She still calls him that. He will always be Papa to her.)
#i meant it when I said I have an answer for every question lol.#cookie run kingdom#burning spice cookie#golden cheese cookie#burningcheese#goldenspice#cookie run oc#cookie run fankid#pepper jack cookie#matar paneer cookie

7 pieces you need to create the ultimate festive jewellery collection
Warm, soft modaks. Feather-light laddoos. Ghee-infused savories. Vividly hued attire. Subtle jewelry on some, bold statement pieces on others, sparkling just as brightly as the diyas lighting up homes. Family gathered around a table, laden with festive treats. Festivals in India are a jubilant, lively affair — while Mother India celebrates year-round, the August-September season marks the beginning of the major festivities (Ganesh Chaturthi, Navratri, Diwali, Eid, Onam, Dussehra, and even Christmas). And no Indian festival is complete without a touch of shimmer — while everyday jewelry is often understated, festive jewelry is all about making a statement. With Ganesh Chaturthi just around the corner, here are seven must-have jewelry pieces that will not only carry you through the festive season but also see you through wedding season if you’re resourceful.
These pieces are for those looking to go beyond the classic jhumka and Kundan bangle, creating a versatile, lifelong collection that grows and evolves with them.
We’ve also matched each piece with outfit ideas — from glam dresses for the style-savvy to co-ord sets for the lounge lover, and sarees for the traditional siren.
1. Dangle or Drop Earrings
If you're ready to venture beyond jhumkas and chaandbalis, a statement pair of drop earrings is a festive essential. Think big and bold — we’re talking about long, dramatic earrings that fan out for added flair. Drop earrings are a game-changer, effortlessly elevating any simple outfit into a statement look.
Style Tip: Pair Everbrite’s Floral Fantasy Earrings with a pastel chikan salwar kameez or a flowing tie-dye skirt with a beige chikankari kurta. Just add simple bangles, and you’re festival-ready. These earrings will look equally stunning at a festive gathering or a glitzy New Year’s Eve party.
Floral Fantasy Earrings ₹3,64,499
2. Hoops
Hoops are a classic, but not just any hoops — go for diamond-encrusted, wide hoops that can add a chic touch to a simple look. These are perfect for pairing with a monochrome kurti and black trousers or jeans.
Style Tip: Whether you’re wearing a minimalist kurti or a heavily embroidered one, Everbrite’s Emerald Inside Outside Diamond Hoops add just the right amount of sparkle to complete your festive look.
Emerald Inside Outside Diamond Hoop ₹1,59,499
3. Statement Necklace
Nothing complements a saree quite like a statement necklace. Inspired by Bollywood’s glam queens like Alia Bhatt and Ananya Pandey, choose a dazzling necklace like the Golden Dew Diamond Necklace. It pairs beautifully with either a richly embellished gold saree or a jewel-toned one for a regal vibe.
Style Tip: Select a blouse with a neckline that complements the necklace. Keep other jewelry minimal to let the necklace shine.
Golden Dew Diamond Necklace ₹9,64,499
4. Statement Ring
A statement ring is the ultimate piece of low-key luxury — ideal for adding subtle glamour without overpowering your look. Whether you choose a bold sharara suit like Sonakshi Sinha or a casual co-ord set, a statement ring adds effortless elegance.
Style Tip: For a pop of color, try the Rosy Rendezvous Ring. For a more refined look, the Sleeping Emerald Ring is a perfect choice.
Rosy Rendezvous Ring ₹1,78,999 Sleeping Emerald Engagement Ring ₹1,30,499
5. Bracelet or Bangle Stack
Anarkalis are timelessly flattering, but with their flowing fabric, it’s best to keep jewelry light and streamlined. Bracelets and bangles add just the right amount of sparkle without overwhelming the silhouette.
Style Tip: Stack Everbrite’s Bold Slant Emerald Bangle, Floral Fantasy, and Brilliance Tennis Bracelet with a few simple gold bangles to create a stunning layered look.
Bold Slant Emerald Bangle ₹13,34,999 Floral Fantasy Tennis Bracelet ₹4,82,999 Brilliance Tennis Bracelet ₹3,70,499
6. Mangalsutra
Nothing speaks to Indian tradition quite like a mangalsutra. Opt for a contemporary twist with the Infinitude Three Stone Mangalsutra, featuring lab-diamonds and a modern rose gold finish.
Style Tip: Wear it with a simple salwar kameez and small hoops for an understated look, or layer it with diamond necklaces and an elegant anarkali or kaftan for extra flair. For a fusion look, try pairing it with tailored trousers and a pastel kurta.
Infinitude Three Stone Mangalsutra ₹75,499
7. A Fusion-Inspired Set
Finally, for the ultimate festive piece, go bold with a colored gemstone set. If you’re ready to go all out, try pairing a fuchsia or emerald chaniya choli with Everbrite’s Contemporary Glam Green Earrings and Contemporary Glam Green Necklace — perfect for the maximalist who loves a bit of drama.
Contemporary Glam Green Earring ₹2,11,999 Contemporary Glam Green Necklace ₹3,50,499
Yes, these pieces are an investment, but think of them as part of a lifelong collection that you can pass down. Each piece is versatile and can adapt to festivals, weddings, parties, and more. Choosing Everbrite’s lab-diamond jewelry means opting for affordable luxury with a sustainable touch, making it a wise investment for a long-lasting jewelry trousseau.

According to “Mudgal Purana”, an ancient text on Lord Ganesha, there are thirty-two forms of Ganesha. Haridra Ganesha is one of them. The word Haridra means “turmeric”. Haridra Ganapati is made from “turmeric roots” and is considered very lucky and auspicious.
He is said to have three eyes and sits on a golden throne. Their color is yellow like turmeric and they also wear yellow clothes. Yellow is the color of stagnation and this color is also considered to be a beauty enhancer and a destroyer of obstacles. On the invocation of Tripura Sundari Sridevi, Haridra Ganapati had destroyed the evil of the demon. He has four arms, in one of which there is a noose, in the second there is a curb, in the third there is a modak (sweet) and in the fourth there is a tooth (his own broken tooth). He brings his devotees near him with a noose and leads them in the right direction by a curb. With the use of Haridra Ganesh, the heart of the enemy gets softened and becomes subjugated and Shri Baglamukhi provides strength in Sadhana.
Dakshinamanya mentions that Haridra Ganapati has six arms and sits on a jeweled throne, apart from his yellow color and yellow clothes. His three right hands hold the Ankush and display Krodha-mudra and Abhayamudra. His left hands carry a noose, a halberd and display Varadamudra.

Divinely Adorned: Unveiling the Best Ganesh Chaturthi Special Jewellery for 2023
Introduction:
Ganesh Chaturthi, a vibrant and significant Hindu festival celebrating the birth of Lord Ganesha, is a time of joy, devotion, and cultural richness. As devotees come together to honour the elephant-headed deity, they also embrace the festive spirit by adorning themselves in elegant and meaningful jewellery. In 2023, make a statement of style and spirituality by choosing the best jewellery to complement your attire and pay homage to Lord Ganesha. This article presents a guide to selecting the finest Ganesh Chaturthi jewellery pieces that resonate with the essence of festivals.
Ganesh Chaturthi Special Jewellery as an Expression of Devotion
Jewellery has long been an integral part of Indian culture, serving not only as a fashion accessory but also as a symbol of tradition, spirituality, and beliefs. Ganesh Chaturthi, being a spiritual occasion, calls for jewellery that reflects devotion, positive energy, and the attributes of Lord Ganesha. The right jewellery choices can elevate your appearance while connecting you to the divine energy associated with the festival.
Ganesha-inspired Jewellery
Ganesha Pendants and Necklaces: A Ganesha pendant or necklace is a classic choice for Ganesh Chaturthi. These pieces often feature intricately designed Ganesha motifs, capturing the deity's distinct features and symbolism. Option for a pendant that is studded with gemstones or enamelling, enhancing its aesthetic appeal.
Ganesha Earrings: Earrings adorned with Ganesha designs offer a subtle yet impactful way to pay tribute to the deity. Whether you choose stud earrings or dangling ones, these pieces add an elegant touch to your overall look.
Ganesha Bangle: A Ganesha-themed Bangle can be a unique addition to your jewellery collection. Look for Bangle that showcase Ganesha's image intricately carved or embossed on precious metals like gold or silver.
Ganesh Chaturthi Special Spiritual Gemstones
Citrine: Known as the "Success Stone," Citrine is associated with positivity, abundance, and prosperity. This golden gemstone resonates with the aura of Lord Ganesha and can be incorporated into earrings, rings, or pendants.
Emerald: Symbolizing renewal and growth, emerald is a gemstone of harmony and spiritual growth. Set in intricate designs, emerald jewellery adds a touch of elegance and vibrancy to your Ganesh Chaturthi ensemble.
Ruby: Representing passion, energy, and divine love, ruby jewellery can be a captivating choice. A ruby-studded pendant or bracelet adds a pop of color and radiates the essence of the festival.
Ganesh Chaturthi Special Symbolic Motifs
Modaks and Laddoos: Modaks are traditional sweets offered to Lord Ganesha, symbolizing his love for food. Jewellery featuring modak or laddoo motifs captures the festive spirit and adds a playful element to your attire.
Trunks and Ears: Ganesha is known for his large ears that symbolize his attentiveness to his devotees' prayers, and his trunk represents adaptability and wisdom. Jewellery highlighting these features can carry a deeper spiritual meaning.
Lotus Flowers: The lotus flower is often associated with purity, enlightenment, and the unfolding of spiritual consciousness. Choose jewellery adorned with lotus motifs to embody these qualities.
Ganesh Chaturthi Special Selecting the Right Metal
The choice of metal for your Ganesh Chaturthi jewellery plays a significant role in enhancing its overall appeal and symbolism. While gold is a traditional favourite, silver is also a popular option. Both metals are believed to hold divine energies and are considered auspicious for this occasion. Depending on your personal style and preferences, you can opt for pure gold, gold-plated, or silver jewellery.

How to choose best Ganesha idol for your home
things to consider when buying a Ganesha idol:
Material of the idol
Believe it or not, different materials used to make Ganesha idols can have different impacts on your household. For example, a Ganesha idol made from brass is known to bring happiness to the household, while a Ganesha made from silver is known to bring fame and prosperity. Considering the silver Ganesha idol brings prosperity, it can also be used in your office cabin.
You can buy this Brass Chatter Ganesha idol from Satguru’s online store
Direction of the trunk
YES! The direction of the trunk also matters. The trunk on the left side is an idol for home as it is known to attract positive energies in the house, while the trunk on the right hand side, which is also popularly known as "Siddhi Vinayak," should be worshipped during rituals and religious ceremonies.
Pose of the idol
You may have seen Ganesha idols in different poses. Well, each pose has a significance. Let’s talk about different poses in brief:
Sitting Ganesha: This is one of the most common poses, with one leg folded and the other on the ground. The classic design has Lord Ganesha sitting on his throne with modak in his hand and a golden crown. It is known to bring calmness and prosperity to the household.
You can buy this Ashirwad Ganesha Small from Satguru’s. This is also a perfect Ganesha idol for gift.
Standing Ganesha: The classic version of the standing Ganesha idol shows Ganesha standing with one leg on Mushak ji and the other on the base. The idol has four hands that hold a modak, a lotus, an axe, and a half-broken tooth. This pose represents strength and determination.
Dancing Ganesha: In the Nritya Ganapati pose, the idol's one leg is in the air while the other is on the ground. Just like dancing, this idol represents celebration and enthusiasm.
This Dancing Ganesha by Satguru’s can be perfect in your office as it represents enthusiasm, which is required when working.
Tips for buying and displaying a Ganesha idol
Size: Take into account the idol's size in relation to the area where you intend to set it. Make sure it fits snugly without crowding the space.
Quality: To ensure that your idol lasts longer and maintains its beauty over time, invest in a high-quality idol.
Display: Put the idol in a spotless, holy area, such as an altar or a room used for prayer. With flowers, candles, or other donations, you can adorn the area.
Respect: Show reverence and dedication to the idol. Keep it off the ground and away from any unsuitable areas.
Maintenance: Keep the idol clean and take good care of it to avoid any damage.
Conclusion
The Ganesha idol is regarded as the remover of barriers and the giver of prosperity and wisdom. Material, size, symbolism, quality, and respect are all elements to consider when selecting and presenting a Ganesha idol. Individuals can honour the cultural and religious significance of this beloved deity by approaching the purchase and display of a Ganesha idol with mindfulness and respect.
If you are looking to buy a Ganesha idol for your home mandir, you must check out Satguru’s. This home decor shop in Mumbai has one of the best Ganesha idol collections. They also have an online store where you can purchase their products and have them delivered to your doorstep. 𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘:
Amira is a short and formous girl. Her skin is olive and tanned. Her hair is fairly long, wavy and curly at the edges, and light brown, and her eyes are light green with long pupils. Her lips are plump and her tongue is similar to a snake’s. Her outfit is composed by a black sleeveless top, dark blue shorts with the unique Scarabia’s flames, a velvet scarf, dark red silk sleeves on her arms, and a long yellow belt around her waist and her left thigh. She also wears a golden head chain, earrings and piercings, necklaces, dark red and gold sunglasses, a ring, bracelets on her arms that hold the sleeves (a plain one on her left arm and a snake-shaped like on her right arm) and two anklets on her right ankle. She wears black ballerinas with a golden scarab at the front. She has a white tatoo near her inner right ankle and white nail polish. She wears an optional long coat, similar to Kalim’s. She also sometimes wears a yellow silk hood-like.
𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗬:
Amira is a charismatic girl, calmly cheerful with hints of flirt. She’s a very caring person.. She makes sure Kalim, Jamil, and in general all Scarabia and NRC students are alright. She has a mom/ old sister-like behavior with mostly everyone. She can be considered clingy since she likes to hug. Dislikes prejudices.
Even though she has a kind nature, she won’t be afraid to stand up and protect her loved ones.
𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗔:
• Amira’s unique magic is “Libido Exudans”. A quite powerful hypnotic skill, she has to look at the person’s eyes. This makes her break that person’s mind barriers. She can gather information by reading the hypnotized person’s mind, or she can control their body like a puppet. She doesn’t use the last option of her unique magic since it makes her feel sick and nauseated easily. She can use this only one person at a time. Only uses her unique magic when necessary or when she thinks someone is lying to her, doesn’t use it for fun.
• Has a snake, his name is Sadiq.
• She likes hugging and kissing people’s foreheads and cheeks.
• She has already adopted everyone in NRC and will definitely add Yuu/MC in her children’s list.
• Very close to Jamil and Kalim. Sees Jamil as a sibling figure, and he sees her in the same way.
• Amira usually wears her sunglasses to prevent any unwanted use of her unique magic (you can be hypnotyzed by mistake when talking to her if she looks at you like when she uses her unique magic, thing she is still learning to control).
• She goes “ara ara~” I take no other opinions.
• Based off Jafar’s snake staff.

Prompt Day 30: Acceptance
(TW: Hospitals/Surgery)
The white lamps shining into their face were way too bright, but they were too nervous to say anything to the nurses and doctors flitting around the room in preparation of the surgery. Hospitals had never been a calm place for them, but now, now that they were finally getting that surgery to be more like what they knew they had always been on the inside, the anxiety was cranked up to maximum. They peered over the edge of the bed that they were lying in, and they could just about make out the figure of their partner at the window. Seeing her face helped a bit, and they took deep breaths in and out to further try to compose themself. Just like that nurse had said, it was like the soft waves of the sea at low tide. In and out. In and out.
She turned away from the window, the warmer light from the outside briefly glinting off her golden floral earrings. They had given those to her for her birthday a few months ago, along with a brightly coloured sari to 'welcome her to the world of fashion'. They laughed at little at themself, remembering her indignant face at their veiled accusation; how her braid of white and blue flowers had come loose from her hair and fell into her ear, resulted in screeches of surprise at the tickling of the petals. They had laughed loudly then, but only for a moment, because it had made their chest hurt. No more of that pain after this surgery, though. They were finished with those kinds of harmful binding practices. A nurse came and started tying their wrist, in preparation for the needle. Their heart beat a little faster.
Quiet chattering brought their attention back to the window, their remaining contact to the outside world. A small family had gathered around her, dressed in traditional celebration wear, holding boxes of... something. They couldn't make out their voices or their faces just yet. A nurse muttered something to another, and a faint sound of wheels on tile came from behind them. Someone thankfully started dimming the bright light shining directly into their eyes. They offered a nurses a small, quick smile as gratitude, then held their breath. They knew who those people were.
Their family. Their family, who they had left without saying a word to, because they had thought it would be too much to explain. That they would not have understood or even tried, not Ma or Pa or Didi or... anyone. Their conversations in short clipped sentences, hiding everything because a younger them had never experienced anything meaningful in understanding from their family before. But now, they were here. With mithai, laddoo and modak and imarti, those sweets they had fought their siblings over when the aunties gave them out at festivals and births. Didi saw them looking, and grabbed their partner's arm, pointing excitedly and waving. They couldn't wave back, partly because of the shock and partly because of the anesthesia starting to work its magic on their muscles. She turned in surprise, and they couldn't help but grin at her horrified face that the surprise had been ruined. She probably expected them to have been unconscious already by the time that their family arrived. She turned and called the others closer to wave to them, probably internally cursing the 'always arriving a bit early' custom of Indian families. Holding back the vision distorting tears in their eyes, they gave a last smile to their family that was waiting for them.
The nurse approached with a mask, but they weren't that afraid of the surgery anymore. Closing their eyes and counting backwards, they slipped gently under softly ebbing waves.

One & the very first of the 32 incarnations of Lord Ganesha, the Hindu deity of knowledge, intelligence, and fresh starts, is Bala Ganapati. Bala, which in Sanskrit is referred to as “child,” is a form of Lord Ganesha that resembles a young kid.
In this representation, Lord Ganesha appears as a young child with a happy disposition who is holding a ‘Modak’ in his trunk. He is represented in a golden hue and symbolizes the fertile nature of our mother earth by holding mango, banana, jack fruit, and sugar cane.

Method:
In a non-stick pan, add 1 tbsp ghee, coconut, and sesame seeds. Sauté on a medium flame for ~2 minutes. Set aside.
Combine the whole wheat flour and ½ cup of water in a bowl and knead the mixture into a tight dough.
Now shape the dough into 8 equal portions and roll them into fist-sized balls. With your index finger, press in the center of the ball to make a depression.
