Seeing that the GoChi community here on Tumblr kicked off the year with new GoChi celebrations, I decided to launch this event to not only build off of the GoChi Week and Son Family Week of previous months, but celebrate past works that many GoChi fans enjoy, free of pressure and purely for enjoyment of sharing things we love, through nominating and voting on works from the following categories:  

1. Favorite Fluff 2. Favorite Smut 3. Favorite Angst 4. Favorite Humor 5. Favorite “First Time Together” 6. Favorite Saiyan world Kakarot/Chi-Chi 7. Favorite Alternate Universe 8. Most In-Character (fanfics) Favorite Style (art) 9. Favorite Son Family

To send in your nominees:

1. Submit one favorite art piece and/or fic per category via dm to @maiikawriter on tumblr or twitter, or to the moderator on the Marriage Is Better Than Food Google+ Community or via asks or submissions on my blog, maiikawriter.tumblr.com, anytime between now and September 1st, 2017.

2. When sending in nominations, supply the author/artist name with a link to the work and the category for which it is being nominated. (for example, “http://www.fanart.com by ArtistABC for #5”).

3.  You can list your nominations 1-9, for both fanart and fanfic, together or submit them separately. ��Just remember if you submit them separately: once per category.  If you want to nominate for some categories and not all of them, that is fine too, though I encourage you to vote for all categories.

Nominating Restrictions:  

1. Mature/NSFW material is allowed.  

2. Please do not nominate your own work.

3.  Please only send your nominations once.  Since your nominations will be kept anonymous, I trust everyone to adhere to an honor system to give allcreators a fair chance of being selected as finalists and to allow me to narrow down the top nominees in a timely fashion.

4.  Any nominees that fit in the respective category and are GoChi-pairing focused will be accepted.  We all have other pairings we love, but they will not be considered in this award event.  I recognize that some fanworks exist with other pairings included, so those may be nominated as well, as long as GoChi is the focal point in artwork and has a well-rounded plot and prominent presence in a story.

What happens after the nominations:

After September 1st, the finalists will be notified and the top threes of each category (with the most nominations) will be presented in a voting poll.  Winner announcements will be made November 5 (honoring Chi-Chi’s birthday).  Afterwards, the top creators will be awarded with art or fiction to accompany their award-winning work.  Let’s have fun with this and spread the word!
