synopsis: when streamer heeplays needs to find a plus one to go with him to the Streamer Awards, what does he do? he makes a google form of course! and what happens when up-and-coming streamer y/n jokingly fills out the form, catching heeseung's attention? stream starting soon: be my +1 !!!

lvl 7. - do it for the plot [written 365 words]

in the late hours of the stream, you sit there trying not to doze off. you had seen the first and last peaks of sunlight shine through your curtains, the timer of your stream nearing that 24-hour mark. yunjin had long left, the other roomies dropping by to give you sustenance to keep going. you did take a nap but that energy could only last you so long.

wrapped in a blanket with your hood up you felt like the epitome of a marshmallow, scrolling through twitter to make the time go by faster. you saw people posting clips of the stream and the games you’ve played, art made by your favorite creators, and new tweets about the streamer awards. as you were scrolling, you lingered for a second longer at a post beomgyu had retweeted, something about being someone’s plus one to the awards.

as you pass it, chat becomes lively once again telling you to check it out. “what is it chat? lol,” you say as your eyes skim through the chat. 

catluvr: it’s an interest form to be heeseung’s plus one! 🜲 chaewonshusband: heeseung is looking for a plus one to bring! pikachuus: dew ITTT

“hmmm, i don’t know chat, i mean isn’t he one of my friend’s friends?”

🜲 tokkiteok: do it for the plot lol hakudragon: i mean why not ohnaurs: YAUR

“okay, okay. i mean why not? ya know i bet a ton of his fans already filled it out so he probably won’t notice lol. i got nothing to lose”

some time had passed before you reached the end of the form, chat encouraging you to keep going whenever you had second thoughts. 

“okay y’all, i submitted it,” a tired smile on your face as the stream exhaustion kicked in. “well with that, that concludes my stream. it was a fun stream chat, i’ll miss youuuu”

a/n : elliott’s lines while my character was pregnant and after they had the baby were just so wholesome that i HAD to write about him finding out about the pregnancy and the birth of his child… like how could i NOT do that ?!? anyway enjoy the second part pookies ♪(๑ᴖ◡ᴖ๑)♪ !

while peacefully fishing your afternoon away to make extra money , you suddenly feel nauseous and dizzy . maybe the smell of the fish is causing you to feel sick ? unable to tolerate how uncomfortable you feel , you decided to call it a day , packing your things away and grabbing the fish you had caught . slowly and steadily , you make your way back to the farm , feeling like you were going to throw up as you walked .

once you reach the farm , you throw the bag of fish you caught in the box outside to sell it overnight , then unlocking the front door . you then walk inside , leaving your muddy boots at the door . " i'm home , babe . where are you ? ” , you say while walking deeper into the house . “ in the kitchen , my love ! " elliott shouts back , letting you know where he is . you find elliott in the kitchen , cutting up some vegetables for dinner . elliott turns to you with a smile on his face . “ hey, honey. what brings you home so early ? " , but his smile soon fades into an expression of worry when he notices you don't appear to be feeling well .

“ you don’t look too good , my love … how are you feeling ? ” he asks as he comes over to check on you . “ i'm nauseous , and my stomach feels like it's on fire … " you breathe heavily while clutching your stomach , as elliott takes you to the bedroom to lie down . " just relax , honey . you're going to feel better soon , okay ? " he says while laying you down in bed . " i'll be back with some ginger tea , " elliott says calmly before exiting the bedroom . while brewing the ginger tea for you , elliott was thinking about the possible causes of your sickness . you were all charged up before leaving the house , plus he cooked your lunch today from scratch , so the food couldn't have irritated your stomach . then it occurs to him that you two have been trying to conceive a child for the past three months ; perhaps you were experiencing some pregnancy sicknesses that he had read about before , and you seemed to be experiencing similar symptoms .

" here's your tea ; be careful ; it’s still a bit hot , sweetheart , " elliott tells you as he hands you the teacup , and you notice he has a book under his arm . “ thank you , dear , " you say, blowing on the hot tea . “ you know i was thinking while i was making the tea … and you might be pregnant , my love , ” he says, smiling at the very thought . he then places the book on your lap and says , " i purchased this book a while ago ; take a look at the sentences with the green page markers on them and see what you think . " the sentences with green bookmarkers talk about early signs of pregnancy ; some even go into pretty descriptive detail about what you’d be feeling if you were pregnant , so you take a look at a few pages . " oh , i probably am pregnant - " you tell him while you close the book and hand it back , realizing that what you feel could very well be pregnancy sickness .

“ i can go run over to the general store and grab a pregnancy test for you if you want , my love , " he kindly offers . “ that would be nice , dear ; thanks again , ” you say , kissing him on the cheek and then going back to drinking the tea he made you . “ i’ll go get that for you then . i’ll be right back , my love , ” he says with a smile . " please try to rest while i'm out , honey , " he says to you while putting his coat on . elliott kisses you on your forehead , " i'll be right back . i love you , y / n … " he says sweetly , then he heads out of the house to get the pregnancy test .

after about 15 minutes , you hear the bedroom door open . " here you are , y / n , " he says while handing you a tiny bag containing the pregnancy test . " do you think you'll need any help with it - ? " he questions as he assists you to the bathroom . " no , i don't think so ; it seems simple enough , but i'll let you know if i do honey , " you say sweetly while reading the instructions . " i'll be in the kitchen starting dinner ; don't be afraid to call me if you need anything . alright , dear ? " he tells you as he closes the bathroom door to give you some privacy .

when you exit the bathroom after taking the test , you are greeted by the delightful aroma of tom kha soup slowly simmering on the stove . as you enter the living room , you notice your husband sitting on the couch watching tv . he appears to be watching the queen of sauce cooking show , most likely to pass the time while the soup boils . " hey , honey , how did the test go ? " he asks as you sit next to him on the couch . " all good , " you say , resting your head on his shoulder and letting out a sigh . " we should have some results in a few minutes , hon , " you added .

after 5 minutes , you both walk to the restroom to see what the test results are . " i'm kind of nervous … " elliott blurts out as you both walk to the bathroom . " and why is that , my love ? " you ask , giggling at his anxiousness . " because this is such a big moment — finding out if my wife is pregnant or not , " he says . " so it's like nervousness from anticipation of what's to come , " he chuckles as you both enter the bathroom . you pick up the pregnancy test , and it reads positive ! " you're really pregnant , my love ! i'm so happy ! " elliott exclaims happily as he hugs you tight and then passionately kisses you . " i can't wait to be a father to this little baby growing inside of your stomach, honey , " elliott says while touching your tummy .

nine months later …

during the night , you gave birth to a beautiful and healthy baby girl , and elliott named her everleigh . elliott is completely enamored with his daughter , although she was only born a few hours ago . " she's the most precious thing on the planet , " eliott whispers as he cradles her in his arms . " thank you for giving birth to her , my love ; you did amazing , " he says lovingly . " you're very welcome , elliott , " you say while yawning . " you should rest , y / n ; you were in labor all night , " elliott suggests , looking at how sleepy you look . " i'll keep an eye on everleigh while you sleep ; don't worry , my dear , " he says with a reassuring smile , then looking down at the sleeping baby in his arms . " okay , my love … see you two when i wake up , " you murmur , taking in the sight of elliott holding everleigh in his arms one more time before turning over and falling asleep almost immediately after placing your head on the pillow .

Brief personality description: Valente is a suave, flirty, charming, and at his core very kind. He has difficulty letting people too close due to his past.

An abridged backstory: Valente is the middle child of deeply religious coffee farmers. He originally grew up in a village and Valente wasn’t always his name as he was AFAB. He left home at 16 to go to the city and changed his name and appearance. So he was a band singer in the city notorious for flirting and going out with women, but he very seldom took up serious relationships (he feared being outed). One day Valente has a “what am I doing with my life” moment and decides to start over somewhere new. He hears rumors of a village in the mountains from a man he met in a bar and decides to take a chance and make a trip there. In the Encanto people are very curious about him as he is an outsider. Domingo in particular takes an interest in him as he is very curious about the city and invites him over for dinner. That’s how he meets and befriends Luciana and they form a friendship that eventually becomes more.

💥 HOW I GOT STUCK IN THE HETALIA FANDOM

Sooo, this is going to be a storytime (bear with me HAHAH). I got into Hetalia when I was around 14 (2017). I was in the Vocaloid and Love Live! (+ 48Groups) fandoms at the time and I stumbled upon HETALIA because of hetaloid. Yes, those HETALOIDS 😭😭. Being someone who likes history and is curious about international relations/dynamics, I WAS SOLD. NOT JUST SOLD, I WAS PUMPED. What do you mean these people are representing an entire country? WHY ARE THEY ALL SO COOL AND HOT? ... is that a good or bad thing? I'm not sure, but I'm here now.

To think about it, I've been mostly a silent fan of hetalia itself besides my current time here and a brief period of my time in the hetalia amino (lessons learned fr fr😭). While it took me awhile to become an active (non-lurking) fan after some "wtf was that" experience in the past, I promised myself I'll try and be more active and confident regarding the things I like, including hetalia (take that new year's resolution!!!!!11)

yayyy rewriting my self insert's bio so people can perceive me and charles. or else. tee

okay so my self insert is just named after me (charles) and is klokateer #1124. she's charles' new secretary after grace retired last year. she's very shy and wears her hood often (even though she doesn't need to) because she's self conscious. she also likes to do her work weeks ahead of time because shes nervous about everything. she'll triple even quadruple check the simplest things (like setting an alarm for instance) because she doesn't want anything to go wrong. she also likes math and doing stuff related to it, so this is a good job for her (better than what every other gear gets).

she starts developing a crush for charles after charles compliments her work ethic once. it's a small crush at first, but one day she forgets her hood and goes to work without it and charles smiles and says shes looks cute so now its like. oh no. its a crush.

time goes on and the crush gets worse. for example, she starts making larger lunches after charles mentions he doesn't eat often and she well <3 gives him some of her lunch. charles tarts reciprocating the feelings by sometimes talking to her out of the blue of things other than work and holding her hand if they have to go anywhere together.

this all ends with charles asking her on a date and the date doesn't go well (they're both REALLY nervous) but they both had a nice time regardless. especially after charles kisses her. she's so happy she passes out.

Gurl listen to me. GO TO A DOCTOR. Trust me I made this mistake of not getting my constant headache checked out by doctor and blamed it on the most random things. Turns out I had so many deficiencies because of which I couldn't concentrate on studies too. I had to take shots for 2 months and medication for a year to be ✨functional✨ and not sleep all the time lol.

Yeah lot of it is definitely stress but it doesn't hurt to get it checked out. I remember my doc also gave me medications to deal with my anxiety that was affecting my health.

My love what makes you think my sanity was intact for 2 years lmao. I struggled sm. I used to have breakdown before every exam lol. I'm so glad it's over.

See, one test doesnt determine shit. I was in aakash and we used to have neet mock test, my lowest score was 90/720. Most of my teachers told my parents that I have no future, I should have taken arts instead and what not. Screw them. Naturally you are going to be good at some subjects and bad at some. It's okay. Just make sure your concepts are clear. I can't stress on it enough. I literally decided randomly like why not give jee. I didn't study at all for it but I got like 60 percentile which was so unexpected and more than some of my friends who were preparing for jee.

Work on your weak areas and learn the concepts again and again and you'll be fine. Plus one thing I learnt from the whole neet scandal is that one exam cannot determine your potential. People who scored around 200- 600 have so much more potential than the ones who got 720 cuz all of them gave the paper honestly and didn't buy their marks. You have to prove yourself at every point in life so you have to know that jee and boards aren't the end.

Thanks a lot love, it is interesting but kinda hard cuz we have to study everything from the subjects in mbbs to subjects in engineering to subjects in bsc. It's okay tho I'm excited haha~~~~

Intro

Communication is a powerful and ever-changing force; especially with the rise of the Internet in recent decades. And no online service knows this better than YouTube. Hosting thousands of channels and millions of videos, no website has sucked away our free time quite like Big Red.

Today I would like to acknowledge 5 of the platform’s strongest creators, in my eyes. Whether it be for their intelligent content or the sheer fun they bring, to me, these guys are some of the best of the best; and proudly hold some of my greatest respect.

Quick disclaimers: This is my first writing like this, and as you know, opinions can change over time; so please lower your pitchforks and know that there are plenty of channels I love. Also, when writing this, I don’t have a particular order in mind (Except for #1). Whether you find your favorite on the bottom, top, or nowhere at all, know that these guys deserve a watch (if my digital mouth has any impact on your choices, that is).

Enough talk though. Onward, to appreciation!

#5: JT Music

Art is mankind’s most unique unifier, and no art brings people together quite like music. Whether it be country, funk, or rap in this pick’s case, you can look just about anywhere for a good time.  And while rock star NateWantstoBattle is a close second in this regard, no musician really does it for me quite like JT.

While most would look at the genre “Video Game Rap” with an upturned nose, those that stick around won’t find anything quite like what Skull and Pat bring to the table. Their weekly tunes always bring a fire to my subscription feed, whether they’re putting me into the role of a badass superhero, or dragging me into the darkest abyss, I can just about always have a good time nodding my head to the beat.

Not only is their work consistently fun, but it’s also wide in diversity, and constant in quality. Hits like Follow Father, No Hero, and Hungry for Another One capture their source material perfectly within a musical context. Even their cameo appearances in tracks like DAGames’ We Want Out and Zack Boucher’s Ultimate Super Smash Bros. Rap steal the show with their wild energy. I always find myself smiling when I find their newest song; getting a small amount of enjoyment even in my less liked tracks.

Consistent fun and passion can be felt in the notes, and I can’t help but rock my skull out when JT Music starts playing.

#4: GameXplain

Games offer a wide variety no matter where you look. No matter if you’re looking for a deep insight into 30 second clips, latest updates on a title, or general thoughts on an event, you can always find something, or someone, explaining the perspective for you.

I’m a funny guy, aren’t I?

GameXplain has certainly explored over the years. From Cool Bits and Missing In Action in the past, to their famous modern Analyses and Discussions, Andre and friends have always hosted an approachable place with a variety of outlooks from its diverse crew, like Andre’s obsession with Stunt Race FX and Ash’s knowledge and love of Mega Man.

Even if you aren’t super into any of their interests, you’ll still find a laid-back but insightful pool of content. Their discussions are a personal favorite of mine, bringing fun, thoughtful ideas to events or ideas occurring in the gaming industry. I can’t help but get caught up in their hype, especially for Nintendo Directs or the annual E3 Show.

Even if I don’t quite understand the excitement that something is receiving, I can always go to these guys for a solid explanation and platform to join the hype train.

#3: Mithzan

It seems that no matter where you go, Minecraft can be found there. Games, books, plushies, animations, even an entire convention; those familiar blocks pervade some space of modern culture. While this space has hosted some incredible creations, simplicity also has its own beauty.

Mithzan uses this simplicity to great effect. With his buddies Ross, Pooki, Jerry and frequent guests, Max is always there to give me a laugh. And while Minecraft holds a variety of fun games like Would You Rather and Never Have I Ever, Mithzan also offers experiences outside of the blocks, like Uno and Dead by Daylight.

Along with the wide content, the experiences and humor are also varied, sometimes employing puns or old-fashioned smack talk, to name a few. Even with the different conversations and games, the fun and heart are always there. Whether he’s playing a wacky or horrifying game, Mithzan is approachable and honest with his style of play.

#2: Mother’s Basement

Appearances can be deceiving, no matter where you look. Assumed bullies are victims themselves, ‘loner’ people are simply introverted, and the most stubborn ones find themselves lost in an unexpected niche. All it takes is a little looking around, and you’ll find a new lesson or friend more often than not.

And what better place to look for insight than in a Mother’s Basement?

While not all people can see the artistry that anime brings to the table, Mother’s Basement brings its potential to the limelight. With weekly insights and discussions on things like how animation enhances an atmosphere or what makes a fight extraordinary in Animelee, the ideas and thought put into these discussions is top-notch.

Along with this, Geoff (the host)’s voice is great support, staying calm but strong, adding great emphasis on major points. He even provides touches of comedy and actual life advice into his videos. I find myself especially entertained with his analyses on My Hero Academia and Fullmetal Alchemist, but Geoff also covers topics like best romantic partners and essential shows to watch (and avoid), and pointing out his reasons why. Even if anime isn’t your style, there are some videos dotted in discussing topics like the nuances of binge-watching in “Is Binge Watching Bad for Us? While it took some time to grow on me, I’m glad to have been welcomed into Mother’s Basement. With plenty of insight and care put into each video, Geoff is just about always a good choice for fun education on how artistic Japanese animation can be.

#1:Fawful’s Minion

The world is full of stories; they’re simply part of human nature. Whether it be fantasy, drama, or comedy, all of us have the potential to weave tales that inspire. And none have inspired me on YouTube quite like Fawful’s Minion.

This mean bean gaming machine has the mouth of a divine artist. His videos always bring a bright smile and incredible awe to me for just how much quality and care goes into each video. Fawful’s Top 10’s have never let me down with their fun, reasons, and pure passion that is tangible in every project.

Not only are the videos fun, but they’re also inspiring too. Fawful’s linguistics is beyond captivating, even partially motivating how I speak and write. Along with constantly being a good time, I’m always inspired to write or gain a storytelling voice whenever I watch an FM video.

And the touches of insight into his personal life give Fawful an air of relatability. Now, I realize I may make him sound like some sort of Shakespearian poet, but he also dispels this through his more colorful language, bringing in modern terms (and curses) and joyful, nearly maniacal at times, laughter and emotion into his speech, making himself grounded and relatable.

Most of all, Fawful’s storytelling skills were, and still are, a big reason why I write and tell my own stories. I want to enrapture others with my words like Fawful does, so he gets a big thanks and respect in my book. Balancing fun, humor, emotion, and creativity, Fawful’s Minion has made a goon out of me, running towards the goal of becoming a true storyteller.
