I'm on this journey and it is no easy task, however, there are a few steps that I came across that might add value to you and help you further your growth.
Remind yourself of why you started pursuing your dreams in the first place. Clearly define your goals and envision what success means to you. It is important to understand that success can be progress not just material possessions. Success is the steps you take every day in the direction you are planning. Material value will come but that is not your goal. Having a clear vision will provide you with a strong sense of purpose and motivation. One of the biggest mistakes we can make is to compare our success or our growth to material possessions or the type of items we possess.
Building a successful business takes time, effort, planning, and perseverance. In every industry, there are steps you must follow to achieve this. Understand your industry, market, and your customers before you offer your services. Recognize that setbacks and failures are a natural part of the journey. Learn from it and avoid it the second time. Set realistic expectations and be prepared for the challenges that will arise. Try to have both, short-term and long-term goals that you are achieving. Competition is only competition if you allow them to be.
Do not fear to become who you need to be, to get your goal accomplished. Do not allow others to determine your direction. They will challenge you, they might even put you down or say your idea is not good. Stay strong, it's people like us that change the world and revolutionize industries. It is through dreams that reality was built. So keep on dreaming, keep your spirit up, and keep doing what you do. The world needs more people like you.
Remember every great leader or inventor before us faced these challenges, if not even worse. I sometimes wonder how they did it in the midst of every reason not to.
