Knives Out and Knives Out: Glass Onion for #moviemonday First, happy new year; I'm back! 🎉 Now, for the review... Knives Out is a mystery with Blanc Benoit (Daniel Craig) investigating the supposed suicide of a prolific mystery writer. Each family member has their own motives for wanting Harlan Thrombey dead, and the why is just as important as the how. Solid mystery, there's surprisingly funny and heartwarming moments, and the worst (best) car chase in history. Glass Onion brings back Blanc Benoit (during the pandemic) in the form of a murder mystery on a billionaire's Greek island. Then, of course, there's an actual murder. This movie is setup differently where you need the plot twist to know/understand what is happening before any of the subtle hints make sense. Still, solid mystery, the hints that were there made it even more compelling, and the outcome was satisfying in so many ways. Also, small spoiler: Hugh Grant and Daniel Craig as a married couple was the bonus content I didn't expect and loved to see 🥰 I've watched both movies twice since their release, and I highly recommend it for Glass Onion to spot all of the hints and blatant outright "this is happening" once you know the original outcome. Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. 2022. Быстрый обзор. Продолжение похождений частного детектива Бенуа Бланка. Интересный актёрский состав, красочная и красивая картинка, не сложный, но динамичный сюжет в стиле ��лассических детективных романов. Этот фильм мне понравился больше первого. По шустрее. По сюжету, компанию из успешных людей разных родов деятельности приглашает на свой остров их общий друг и судя по всему, спонсор. Общий друг - миллионер типа Илона Маска. Вместе со всеми приезжает бывшая партнёрша миллионера, которую он когда-то кинул и детектив Бенуа, которого не понятно кто позвал. Цель встречи - интеллектуальная игра, типа квеста, когда кому-то втайне даётся роль убийцы хозяина, а остальные должны разгадать кто убил и почему. Естественно всё понарошку. Но убийства гостей начинаются на самом деле и Бланку приходится включать свои таланты. Лёгкое приятное кино. Иногда немного смешное и часто забавное.
