It had come to his attention that at some point, a man had to eat. Now, he’d been reprimanded before in the past for his dietary choices (and if Mello was being honest, rightly so), but that didn’t mean that he didn’t know how to feed himself. Sure, he had a sweet tooth, but that was because chocolate was easily accessible and extremely portable. 

As it turns out, a genius in one thing does not equate to being a genius in another. It appeared that Mello had absolutely no idea how to cook anything, and he definitely had no idea how to shop for food either.

He stood in the middle of the grocery store and turned to the man on his left. “Have you been around this city a while?” he winced internally at his own words. Asking a stranger for help? He could do better than that. He quickly backtracked. “Do you know… if another store has more variety?”

“This coffee…” Shuu sighs, his eyes on his to-go cup. It’s nothing like the coffee they used to make at Anteiku, nothing at all like the coffee Kanae used to make. He sighs, dramatically peeling off the lid and dumping the coffee onto the ground. “Ah, ce n'est pas bien!” he exclaims, and locks eyes with another man.

“Is there a place a man can get decent coffee around here, monsieur?”

   She had just wanted to take a short cut while moving through the busy streets of the Golden Ward. A short cut which just so happened to involve leaping down from a rather tall building into an alleyway below. She mostly was just acting without thinking, her mind lost in her own thoughts. Ichigo hadn’t even noticed the other standing there until she had already landed safely on the ground near him-- and proceeded to slam face first into him as she moved to walk out of the ally. Snapping herself out of her own thoughts as she fell backwards onto the ground.

     There were demons, wherever he goes, good ones, evil ones, but still demons. He couldn’t let his abilities get rusty, forcing himself to continue the training his old teacher had taught him. There was him, standing in front of a giant rock, one three times bigger than him. His eyes and body completely focused on the object while holding his sword, with the intention to cut in half. it seemed foolish that someone would even think to try to do something like that, but he was actually going for it. In fact, this was not the first time he was in this situation, after all this was part of the training he had to take with Urokodaki when he was just a little boy and had successfully accomplished it; there was nothing better than this for a warm up. 

     His firm hands grasping the sword, one weaker than what he’s used to, considering the amount of improvement he had gained over the years it seemed enough. ❝ FIRST STYLE: WATER SURFACE SLICE.❞ He says, under his breath, allowing his legs and arms to move forward and delicately carve by the middle of the rock a fissure deep enough to cut it in two, the action completed in just a matter of seconds. Uncertainty if he would be able to achieve it and the concentration to actually do it were both things he chose to focus on at the moment, when he went to a calmer state he perceived an unnoticed presence dangerously close to him. What a fool, how come he wasn’t aware of it before? was it a human? was it a demon? Eyebrows frowning, his hands position to attack if needed, searching for the one who had decided to intrude.

Greyche

When I started shipping it if I did: I was pretty late to the game and only started shipping them after reading the manga chapter where Grey saved Gauche.

My thoughts: When I first saw Grey healing Gauche, I thought "okay, this ship exists now." Through watching the anime, I took notice of the fact that they do have more scenes than I remember during my read through which kind of reaffirmed the ship for me. I'm not a super big fan of this ship and I don't create content for it, but I can't help but find it charming.

What makes me happy about them: When Gauche cares for someone deeply, he's very outspoken about it and Grey could use that kind of assertive support. And Grey is a gentle soul that, despite her insecurities, could provide Gauche with the sense of comfort he missed out on for many years.

What makes me sad about them: I'm a bit saddened by the possibility that some people ship them just so Gauche isn't obsessed with Marie because Gauche already cares about all the Black Bulls, just not as blatantly.

Things done in fanfic that annoys me: Admittedly, I don't read that much fanfic for this ship so I don't know what would annoy me. Sorry.

Things I look for in fanfic: Again, don't read enough fanfiction for them but when I do, I appreciate soft and fluffy things. I think they're at their best when their being simply affectionate.

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: In a crack ship way, Gauche and Klaus. They are the over enthusiastic big brothers of the series so my brain just... puts them together. I'm sorry people. As fro Grey, she works well with Gordon. Their backstories are paralleled and they are among the softest people in the squad (alongside Asta and Henry).

My happily ever after for them: Married with a kid or two. Gauche would be the most annoyingly doting husband and father. Grey would be the gentlest mother and support her family in everything they do.

Who is the big spoon/little spoon: In my mind, they'd go back and forth.

What is their favorite non-sexual activity: Trying out new outfits. Grey is all about trying out new things with her appearance and Gauche would love to see her in cute fits.

How I feel about this character: I don't think I've said it much, if at all, but I have a very soft spot for Grey. She reminds me of myself, with the lack of self-confidence and struggle to accept herself. I'm not nearly as anxious as her, but I feel that stress of "I'm ashamed of myself and don't want to be noticed" sometimes. She's very cute and sweet, someone I would want to be friends with.

All the people I ship romantically with this character: Gauche, obviously. A little bit of Gordon too as mentioned earlier.

My non-romantic OTP for this character: Grey-Gauche-Gordon friendship trio! Their friendship is wholesome and needs more attention people!

My unpopular opinion about this character: People, she's not related to Marx. Stop trying to connect them.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I wish she'd gotten her own arc where a misadventure with Asta and one or two other Bulls helped her open up. It was nice to see lots of the other Bulls have their "inspired by Asta" moment and maybe it could've gotten annoying if *every single* Bull got one, but I wanted one for her after her proper introduction.

My OTP: Grey x Gauche, clearly.

My cross over ship: Her being with the flashy and flamboyant Tengen Uzui from Demon Slayer seems like an unlikely but entertaining pairing quite honestly. No wait! Even better would be Giyuu Tomioka because he's socially awkward too and would be able to join the G-friend group!

A headcanon fact: If presented with the option to use they/them pronouns, she definitely would use them alongside the pronouns she already uses.

Gauche Adlai

How I feel about this character: He's pretty okay. Gauche is much more chill in the manga. I feel like the anime overplays his devotion to Marie. His violently protective bits show how rotten he is but I still somehow find them funny. Also, I do love seeing him and Sister Theresa going feral against each other.

All the people I ship romantically with this character: Only Grey really. Klaus is merely a crack ship and more like friendship of overbearing brothers.

My non-romantic OTP for this character: Again, the triple G friendship!

My unpopular opinion about this character: The fact that Gauche's character uses the siscon trope bothers me as much as the rest of the fandom. HOWEVER! I think him being obsessed with protecting Marie and her happiness is actually fine. In my opinion, he's allowed to be that protective and doting of her. I just wish it was done using the Knight Templar Big Brother trope instead.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: Taking back his family fortune and honor. He was disgraced but now that he's become a stronger and better person with the Bulls, I want him to find the bastard that took away his parents and life and get it back! It's what he (and Marie) deserve.

My OTP: Again, I say, it is Grey x Gauche.

My cross over ship: I don't really have one, not for Gauche.

A headcanon fact: I think I said it before but I'll share it again because I've grown attached to it. He's a klutz. He's got one eye and no depth perception he stumbles frequently. Pry it from my cold, dead hands.

so i think the biggest sign one has depression is “oversleeping” way too much for your own health .  ( and i can speak out of severe experience. )  however ,  with giyuu being one of the top skilled demon slayers enough for Kagaya to name him as a Hashira  ( but we can get into his imposter and / or inferiority complex another day ) ,  i think it’s actually the reverse for him ???  as in :  giyuu doesn’t sleep For Shit .

except for  obviously  the days where his depression is crippling him SO BAD that he’s in a constant self - created vicious cycle that tears down his will to do anything at all over and over again until he just Gets Out somehow .  what makes it worse is that ,  because of his utterly atrocious relationships with the other Pillars ,  it’s highly probable that no one but The Master knows about this ???  we all know how much the other Pillars love and respect and ultimately adore Kagaya ,  but we’ve actually yet to see how Giyuu individually feels towards the man & all the more since he was the one who decided to hand over the title of Water Pillar .

shinobu ,  despite having the Butterfly Estate ,  doesn’t seem to know of this either  considering how much she, especially, bullies him  & i think that emphasizes all the more that the other Pillars REALLY don’t make an effort to try getting to know Giyuu .  ( although the more likely scenario is that at least someone of them do try baiting or luring him into a bonding moment but he just says No Thanks and the others take it as Fuck You Guys, I’m Out kinda thing. )  literally every one of the Hashira’s feelings towards Giyuu are either  “i don’t care”  or  “he’s a terrible guy”  ( or you’re  an angel  Mitsuri & just don’t know how to approach this loser ) .
