Her, whispering seductively: “Tell me something I don’t know, big boy.”

Me: “Because Both Glass Onion and Rocky Racoon are lesser known Beatles songs, the character of Rocket Racoon and the murder mystery staring Dave Batista share a namesake.”

Her: “What the fuck?”

So I finally convinced my flatmate [and former flatmates] to watch “Glass Onion.”

Flatmate 1, five minutes into the film: “Wow, you’re just like Benoit Blanc.”

Me: “A genius detective, with the looks of Daniel Craig?” Her: “No: If we had an actual bathroom rather than that tiny shower, you’d never get out of the fucking bath.”

Former flatmate 1: “And you’d be wearing that stupid fez [Ex flatmate 2] bought you back from Cyprus, and sucking at computer games.”

Former flatmate 2:  “And you’d be drinking Pernod at 11 in the morning. Again.”
