On January 12, 2025, a grand event "Smriti 2025" was organized at Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Bagaha, to celebrate the 108th birth anniversary of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji. The event featured captivating performances by the young students of the school. The program was graced by the esteemed presence of former MLA Mr. Shankar Lal Tiwari and Mr. Ashok Agarwal, President of the Agarwal Society and social worker from Satna.

The event began with the worship of Goddess Saraswati and the Guru tradition, followed by the lighting of the lamp. The guests were welcomed with garlands, bouquets, and shawls. The young students sang a welcome song in their sweet voices. The school's principal, Mr. Upvan Kumar Agarwal, read out a message from the Chairman of the Maharishi Institute, Brahmachari Shri Girish Chandra Verma Ji, and expressed that today is a very auspicious day as it marks the 108th birth anniversary of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji, which the school family is celebrating as Smriti Day. Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji believed that knowledge can be accumulated through meditation, hence his emphasis on knowledge and yoga. Today, around 200 Maharishi schools are operating in the country, where regular training in meditation and yoga is provided. He expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their valuable time.

The students presented various colorful performances such as Rajasthani dance, Lavani, Bengali dance, mime act, and various group dances inspired by patriotism, education, and national upliftment, which captivated all the spectators. The special guest, Mr. Shankar Lal Tiwari, encouraged the children in his speech, stating that regular practice of meditation and yoga is conducted in the institution, which is a meaningful effort to make life happy. While every school provides education, teaching meditation along with education is very commendable. The students performed the stage program with great skill, and certainly, all the students and the school family deserve congratulations. The special guest, Mr. Ashok Agarwal, in his blessing speech, said that children learn leadership and expression skills from school, so such events should be organized once a year in every school. The children's performances were very commendable, and certainly, all of you deserve praise.

The successful organization of the program was overseen by the school's students and knowledge teacher Mr. Rakesh Tiwari. आज दिनांक 12.1.2025 को महर्षि विद्या मंदिर बगहा में महर्षि महेश योगी जी के 108 वा जन्म दिवस के उपलक्ष पर वार्षिकोत्सव कार्यक्रम "स्मृति 2025" का रंगारंग कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया जिसमें विद्यालय के नन्हे मुन्ने बच्चों द्वारा रंगारंग कार्यक्रम की मनमोहन प्रस्तुत किया दी गई, कार्यक्रम के विशिष्ट अतिथि के रूप में पूर्व विधायक श्री शंकर लाल तिवारी जी एवं श्री अशोक अग्रवाल जी अग्रवाल समाज अध्यक्ष एवं समाज सेवक सतना की गरिमामयी उपस्थिति में कार्यक्रम संपन्न हुआ।

सर्वप्रथम मां वीणा पांणी सरस्वती व गुरु परंपरा की छायाचित्र के समक्ष गुरु पूजन व दीप प्रज्वलन किया गया। आए हुए अतिथियों का स्वागत माल्यार्पण, पुष्प गुच्छ एवं साल श्रीफल देकर स्वागत वंदन किया गया। तत्पश्चात विद्यालय के नन्हे मुन्ने बच्चों द्वारा मधुर वाणी में स्वागत गीत गया गया। विद्यालय के प्राचार्य श्री उपवन कुमार अग्रवाल जी ने अपने उद्बोधन में महर्षि संस्थान के चेयरमैन ब्रह्मचारी श्री गिरीश चंद्र वर्मा जी का संदेश वाचन किया गया साथ ही अपनी बात में कहा गया कि आज का दिन बहुत ही पावन है और आज महर्षि महेश योगी जी का 108 वं जन्म दिवस है जो विद्यालय परिवार स्मृति दिवस के रूप में वार्षिकोत्सव बना रहा है महर्षि महेश योगी जी का मानना था की ध्यान से ज्ञान को संचित किया जा सकता है इसलिए उनका जोर ज्ञान एवं योग पर बहुत था आज देश में लगभग 200 महर्षि विद्यालय संचालित है जिनमें नियमित ध्यान और योग का प्रशिक्षण कराया जाता है आपने अपना अमूल्य समय दिया इसके लिए विद्यालय परिवार की ओर से मैं आप सभी का हृदय से आभार व्य��्त करता हूं

विद्यालय के बच्चों द्वारा विभिन्न प्रकार की रंगारंग कार्यक्रम की प्रस्तुतियां जैसे राजस्थानी नृत्य लावणी बंगाली नृत्य माइम एक्ट व विभिन्न प्रकार के सामूहिक नृत्य जैसे की देशभक्ति शिक्षा परख व राष्ट्र उत्थान की भावना से प्रेरित प्रस्तुति दी गई जो सभी दर्शकों का मन मोह लिया। विशिष्ट अतिथि श्री शंकर लाल तिवारी ने बच्चों के उत्साहवर्धन हेतु अपने उद्बोधन में कहा कि संस्थान में ध्यान एवं योग का नियमित अभ्यास कराया जाता है यह जीवन को सुखी बनाने का सार्थक प्रयास है शिक्षा तो हर विद्यालय देते हैं लेकिन शिक्षा के साथ-साथ ध्यान सिखाना बहुत ही अच्छा है विद्यालय के बच्चों द्वारा बहुत ही कला के साथ मंचीय कार्यक्रम किया गया निश्चित ही सभी छात्र एवं छात्राएं तथा विद्यालय परिवार बहुत-बहुत बधाई का पात्र है विशिष्ट अतिथि श्री अशोक अग्रवाल ने आशीर्वाद स्वरुप अपने वक्तव्य में कहा कि विद्यालय से ही बच्चे नेतृत्व एवं अभिव्यक्ति की कला सिखाते हैं इसलिए हर विद्यालय में ऐसे आयोजन वर्ष में एक बार किए जाने चाहिए बच्चों के प्रस्तुति बहुत ही सराहनीय रही निश्चित ही आप सभी प्रशंसा के पात्र है।

Sudhir Kumar Jain has been named as the new Vice-Chancellor of the Banaras Hindu University (BHU). Sudhir K. Jain (born 1959) is a structural mastermind and schoolteacher at the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar. He has been assigned as the bad habit chancellor of the Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. He is, at this point, serving his third term as the overseer of the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar.
