In celebration of Latine Heritage Month being September 15th-October 15th, here’s a masterlist below compiled of over 250+ Afro Latine faceclaims categorised by gender with their occupation and ethnicity denoted if there was a reliable source. If you want an extra challenge use random.org to pick a random number! Of course everything listed below are just suggestions and you can pick whichever faceclaim or whichever project you desire.

Any questions can be sent here and all tutorials have been linked below the cut for ease of access! REMEMBER to tag your resources with #TASKSWEEKLY and we will reblog them onto the main! This task can be tagged with whatever you want but if you want us to see it please be sure that our tag is the first five tags, @ mention us or send us a messaging linking us to your post!

STEP 2: Pick what you want to create! You can obviously do more than one thing, but what do you want to start off with? Screencaps, RP icons, GIF packs, masterlists, PNG’s, fancasts, alternative FC’s - LITERALLY anything you desire!

STEP 3: Look back on tasks that we have created previously for tutorials on the thing you are creating unless you have whatever it is you are doing mastered - then of course feel free to just get on and do it. :)

Debra Bauguess, 65

Debra Lou Bauguess, age 65, of  North Wilkesboro, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2019 at Wake Forest Baptist Health-Wilkes Regional. Debra was born December 19, 1953 in Wilkes County. She was preceded in death by her father, Clint Call; mother, Evelyn Sparks Lyall; brother, Randall Call; and sister, Mary Acosta.

Surviving are her husband, Mark Bauguess; daughter, Tina Bauguess Durham and spouse Brock of Roaring River; son, Michael Bauguess of North Wilkesboro; grandchildren, Gralan Durham, Hayden Durham, Allie Brooke Durham; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service was  December 3  at North Wilkesboro City Cemetery with Rev. Victor Church officiating. The family has requested no flowers. Shelba Jean Church, age 82, of Wilkesboro, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born February 20, 1937 in Wilkes County to Cecil Lee and Mildred Marie Whittington Church.

Mrs. Church was a member of Lewis Fork Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Rex Lee Church and Cecil Ralph Church.

Surviving are her husband, Loyde Church; son, Tim Church and spouse Courtney of Wilkesboro; grandchildren, Madalyn Church and Alexis Church; brother, Kenneth Reece Church and spouse Sheila.

Service was December 3, 2019 at Lewis Fork Baptist Church with Pastor Dwayne Andrews and Rev. Sherrill Wellborn officiating. Burial followed in the Church Cemetery.   Flowers will be accepted. The family has requested no food, please. Miller Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.

  Randall Wagoner, 49

Mr. Randall Shannon Wagoner, 49, of Wilkesboro, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2019.

Randall was born on Wednesday, March 18, 1970 in Wilkes County to Linda Mae Wagoner.

Randall is preceded in death by his brother Rex Allen Parsons and step father Rex Elisha Parsons.

Randall is survived by his wife, Kimberly Porter Wagoner of the home; daughters, Kaitlyn Nicole Wagoner of North Wilkesboro, Erica Hannah Wagoner of Wilkesboro; mother Linda W. Brown and Christopher "Chris" Brown of North Wilkesboro.  

A graveside service was held December 1, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Brady Hayworth and Preacher Scott Wagoner officiated..

  Margaret Call, 76

Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Shepard Call, "Doll" passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Wilkes Senior Village.

Funeral services were November 30, at Fishing Creek Arbor Baptist Church with Rev. David Welborn and Rev. Allen Bouchelle officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.  

Mrs. Call was born January 2, 1933 in Wilkes County to Clarence and Ermma Staley Shepard. She was retired from American Drew Dining Room Plant. Mrs. Call was a member of Fishing Creek Arbor Baptist Church. Doll as she was called, was a hard worker. She always had an open door for friends, family and her neighbors. She was an excellent caretaker for family and friends, loved to sew, cut hair and especially loved her grandchildren and was a Jack of all trades.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; James Phillip Call three sisters; Beatrice Williams, Mary Curry and Betty Minton, two brothers; Mack Shepard and Joe Shepard and two grandchildren; Barney Call and Emily Call.

She is survived by a daughter; Peggy Byers and Robert Foster of North Wilkesboro, four sons; Rex Allen Call and wife Nancy of Wilkesboro, Charles Call and Michelle Stanley of Wilkesboro, Randy Call and wife Shirlene of Wilkesboro and Terry Call and Regina Dowell of Wilkesboro, nine grandchildren; Tabitha, Jason, Angie, Anthony, Zach, Dusty, Jamie, Amy and Amanda, sixteen great grandchildren and a brother; David Shepard of North Wilkesboro.

  Nadine Anderson, 86

Ms. Nadine Opal Anderson, age 86 of North Wilkesboro, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Gordon Hospice in Statesville.

The family received friends November 29, at Reins Sturdivant Funeral Home.

Ms. Anderson was born December 1, 1932 in Wilkes County to James Cicero and Drusey Soots Anderson. She retired from Carolina Mirror. Ms. Anderson loved to cook, bake and read. She loved to read her Bible and loved her family. Nadine was crowned the Farmer's Queen and Miss Wilkes County of 1951.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son; Scott Tevepaugh, two sisters and four brothers.

She is survived by seven daughters; Vernell Powers and husband Gary of Moravian Falls, Bobbie Glass of Moravian Falls, Phyllis Spicer and husband Barry of Yadkinville, Terri Guion and husband Bobby of Taylorsville, Julie Tevepaugh of North Wilkesboro, Brenda Tevepaugh of Wilkesboro and Beth Pennell and husband Jody of Stony Point and a son; Robert C. Tevepaugh of North Wilkesboro, eleven grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren three great great grandchildren and two step grandchildren .

Stella Colleen Couplin, age 70, of North Wilkesboro, passed away Monday,

November 25, 2019 at her home. Stella was born August 22, 1949 in Buncombe County to Joseph Wayne and Anna Belle Cothern Simonds. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Betty Catherine Waddell.

She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Erwin of North Wilkesboro; brother, Larry Wayne Simonds and spouse Crystal of Granite Falls; sister, Barbara Simonds of North Wilkesboro; grandson, Zachary Michael Erwin of North Wilkesboro; brother-in-law, Chris Waddell of North Wilkesboro; several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Brenda Kay Henderson Church, age 72 of North Wilkesboro passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019 at SECU Hospice Home in Yadkinville.

Funeral services were November 30, at Second Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Dillard and Rev. Wiley Boggs officiating.  Burial was in the Church Family Cemetery.       Mrs. Church was born July 27, 1947 in Iredell County to Mull and Frankie Keever Henderson.  Brenda was Phi Theta Kappa in college, world best cook, accepted with full honors to the University of Chapel Hill at age 59, she loved spending time with her grandchildren, best private detective, huge Tarheel fan and world's best mother, grandmother and a caring loving wife.  She was a member of Second Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister; Paulette Cloer, a brother; Jerry Henderson and fur baby; Tiny.

Beyond the Bar Cart: How Boozy Spaces Are Taking Over People’s Homes

For Bob Weinschenk, wine isn’t just a pleasant accompaniment for dinner: It’s a bond that connects him to family and friends. He grew up with his parents and French grandparents in Queens, NY, where wine was paired with conversation at just about every evening meal. As an adult, Weinschenk collected bottles, first storing them in closets at his home and eventually working his way up to three wine refrigerators, each holding 150 bottles.

Now living in Austin, TX, Weinschenk, 54, has taken his love of vino to a new level, with a custom cellar built directly under his kitchen, holding 2,500 bottles.

Weinschenk is one of a growing number of homeowners who are creating designated spaces in their homes to celebrate their love of wine, spirits, and beer. Whether it’s having a home sports bar to enjoy the big game with pals and signature cocktails or an outdoor beer garden, people are showing their love of entertaining by redesigning their homes to create boozy spaces.

Although there have always been deep-pocketed collectors of wine and spirits willing to invest in custom spaces, remodeling experts say there’s a growing wave of homeowners renovating their homes with drinking rooms in mind.

For Weinschenk, who has founded several startups, including a wine recommendation app called WhatsMyWine, the four-month construction project involved jackhammering 12 feet underground, pouring about 15,000 pounds of concrete, installing an HVAC unit, and, finally, having the 7-foot-wide cylindrical wine cellar shipped from the United Kingdom. It took a few more months to calibrate the optimal wine storage temperature. Total cost: about $60,000.

“It’s the intersection of food and beverage and residential [real estate],” says Jason Dorsey, president and co-founder of the Center for Generational Kinetics, a millennial and Generation Z research and consulting firm. “It’s not just putting up a Budweiser sign. People want this kind of live-play space in their house so they can entertain.”

The craze, which grew out of the artisanal food and craft beverage movement of the past decade, has really taken off in the past two or three years as more younger homeowners are remodeling their homes to suit their needs, says Nancy Fire, founder of Design Works International, a New York City–based interior and home design studio.

“It’s definitely a movement,” says Fire, who also serves as the design director of HGTV Home, curating the station’s home products. Millennials “truly love their homemade whiskey, bourbon, wine, and craft beer.”

Bars or wine cellars can add to a home’s value

Creating a boozy space doesn’t have to break the bank—and it might just make a home more valuable when it comes time to sell.

The average cost for a basement remodel is just under $19,000, for example. But an area can be revamped with fresh paint, carpet, and furnishings for much less. The average cost to install a wet bar ranges from $2,000 to $12,000, depending on the type of appliances and other details, according to HomeAdvisor.

The more deluxe spaces can be attractions unto themselves. Weinschenk’s wine cellar has an entrance set in the floor, covered in glass strong enough to stand on. It serves as a centerpiece when he and his wife have friends over for dinner.

“You can go in there and have hors d’oeuvres or just sit down and drink a glass of wine,” Weinschenk says. “It’s visually beautiful, and it doesn’t take up a whole room.”

Although older homeowners typically have more money to pour into such features, younger homeowners are often the ones creating these booze-focused spaces. In the past 12 months, millennial homebuyers, now the largest single group of buyers, have spent an average of about $5,000 on home remodeling, second only to baby boomers, according to HomeAdvisor. And millennials are also 89% more likely to remodel a basement than homeowners of other generations.

“The whiskey room, the beer garden, it’s a way to put their stamp on the home without having to take out a second mortgage for a major renovation,” says Dan DiClerico, HomeAdvisor’s home expert.

You don’t need an extensive remodel to create a drinking space

Some homeowners are also creating smaller home spaces for libations and entertaining. One example would be a micro bar next to the kitchen.

Because they love to entertain in different ways, event planner Gina Whittington, 41, and her husband created several his-and her drinking areas in their respective home offices in Austin, TX.

“I started with a fun bar cart that I found and then some of my grandmother’s vintage carnival glass,” she says, describing her office bar.

Whittington’s husband has a bar not only in his office, but also in the garage. Their main bar in the living room is stocked with an array of spirits and vintage glassware, and the dining area holds their wine refrigerator and accessories.

The couple often entertain friends in the main bar areas, setting up a tequila bar or Scotch tasting. Whittington likes to make special cocktails for her book club and parties. She recently set up a station to mix up blood orange margaritas for the adult guests at her 2-year-old daughter’s taco-themed birthday party.

YOLO: Going all out and creating a full bar in your home Some homeowners would rather stay in and have friends over to watch the big game than hit the bars.

Last year, for example, Curtis Irby, 51, had a  full-scale sports bar built in the basement of his Quinton, VA, home.

The bar features a 6-foot commercial refrigerator, and the bar’s name, “Bloody Alibi,” is etched in a mirror behind the bar and backlit with LED lights that change color. The project took about four months and $50,000, Irby says.

Irby, 51, a former Navy football player who is now a high school Navy Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps teacher, says the bar seats six, but there’s plenty of standing room. He hosted friends for the Army-Navy football game last fall in his bar and had a Super Bowl party with about 25 people in attendance.

“You only live once,” Irby says. “A lot of people would get a small refrigerator and just be happy. I said, ‘No.’ I wanted to turn this into something that has the look and feel of a real bar.”

You don’t need to go to a sports bar when you have one in your own home.
