he was thrown around in his earlier life using other dolls to patch himself up. he entered the ethereal kingdom where he lived for a long time before tricking the ghost ruler into giving him the crown. though this isn't signs of tyranny as this is actually usually how the ghost crown shifts around since the belief is that a proper ghost ruler should be unable to be tricked by anyone. so if you loose the crown by being tricked, are you really their best leader?

So I've been working on a TTRPG magic-based system for a while. Like as a "the brain gerblins are allowing me to hyperfixate for unscheduled periods of time on various mechanics and character building aspects" sort of project. But it's actually starting to gel into a sort of cohesive system? Someone (couldn't be me) (lies it was me) spent 3ish hours building interactive character sheets in Google Sheets. And had fun with it. And added custom formatting.

Anyway it all started in 2020, and then I put it down for a while, and periodically come back. And it just...keeps being fun to work on! Initially I'd just come up with the core concept, and now I'm fine working battle mechanics. But I'm planning on blathering on about it a lot more! Which is partly why I'm posting as Gheist Game Grimoire, because...this isn't the first TTRPG I've made. Or the last. I actually just uh. Really like. TTRPGs. Writing, developing mechanics, formatting, playtesting...and what the hell. Maybe I'll just stop pretending it's not a passion of mine!
