I wrote like an excerpt once where after the Deep Roads Expedition, having Carver join the wardens, and Ghafar getting a hold of the Hawke estate, Leandra finds Malcolm’s old cloth from his turban in her chest that she’d hid a long time ago at the estate. It was the same cloth he’d worn when she and Malcolm were dating. So, Leandra actually gives Ghafar the cloth for him to wear/wrap around his head (this takes place in Ghafar’s bedroom). Ghafar looks at himself in the mirror after putting it on. He saw a characteristic parallel between the appearance of himself and his father’s.

Leandra starts crying at the sight and points out the similarities. She then explains the funny backstory on how she managed to acquire the turban.

The turban for Ghafar is both a blessing and a curse. While it gives him confidence, and him a trophy that represents the Hawkes, it also creates this sort of weight on his head, being representative of this pressure. Pressure in which he holds all the responsibilities of a Hawke, but also trying to hold true to his father’s legacy.

Apparently being buff runs in the Hawke family and we can see that with Carver 💀💀💀💀

Had a realization that Merrill and Ghafar, color-coded together, is the colors of a watermelon. And I always draw the comparison that their daughter is a cantaloupe/honeydew/melon baby.

I kind of want to rename their whole ship to something melon-related now….

14.) I just made this up right now on the spot, I like to think this happened after everyone’s offshore break at the Citadel in ME3. Marjan accidentally clogged the toilet in the women’s restroom while hanging out at the crew deck, so he called in a custodian to help fix it. The custodian comes in to try to repair the toilet, but instead the poor dude was hit by the water coming out of it. Unfortunately, they didn’t have the necessary tools to fix it. Marjan tells Joker to fly the Normandy back to the Citadel so that Marjan can buy the equipment from the markets there. The only people who are aware of the “Priority: Toilet” incident was Joker and the custodian because Marjan was too embarrassed to admit that he was the broke the toilet in the ship. Joker makes fun of him by calling him “Commander Dookie” after the whole situation.

15.) Surprisingly it’s Fenris. While Fenris had some hesitancy with Ghafar in general (especially at the beginning), which is understandable due to Fenris’ history, Ghafar was able to get his trust by proving that he is a mage that is conscious of his abilities. They still have their disagreements, but it’s mutual.

I actually romanced Fenris with Ghafar in one of his playthroughs, though it’s not canon because I prefer Merrill, it was interesting to see their interactions and how I can equip that onto them as friends.
